We were completely satisfied. My hamburger teriyaki was excellent. Just like the fish dish of my companion. The whole thing was crowned by friendly, good-humoured service. Only the sanitary facilities could be improved.

It was a great restaurant experience. There was something for everyone, it tasted delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It exceeded our expectations. We'd love to come back :)

I became aware of the AHOI through friends and I am thrilled. There is something for everyone, whether “classic” fish & chips or a bowl. Also recommended are the homemade lemonade and the chicken burger. The ambience is also unique and the service is excellent.

Netter Service , hevorragendes Essen & bei gutem Wetter im Aussenbereich. Ein schöner Nachmittag , zum entspannen und genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

I'm currently in Hamburg for work and wanted to go out for a nice meal. First I went to another restaurant, where I was turned away in a very unfriendly manner because I was there alone. I then went to “Ahoi”, where I wanted to go anyway. The food, the service, the drinks - everything was simply incredibly good. I was treated super friendly and it wasn't an issue in the least that I was there alone. The service was super attentive and extremely friendly. The food came to the table very quickly. The food was incredibly delicious, as were the drinks. Everything is just right here. There is nothing I can criticize. Thanks, maybe I'll come back tomorrow. 😁

Impossible service, we ordered something to eat at the window and then weren't allowed to sit down to eat, that's not possible, people avoid the store.

Hello from Bremen, Well, it was legger. The main thing... It was already pretty warm in there (well, with the outside temperature at 28 degrees).

Today I was there again after a long time and ordered the Fish & Chips Henssler Style outside. I've always enjoyed eating, but sorry, today was really not good: at first there was no one to be found and when the food came, unfortunately it wasn't that tasty. The fries were fluffy and took too long to fry, as was the fried fish, which was simply sizzled to death and didn't taste like anything anymore. The sauce/remoulade had little taste and was far too thin... unfortunately the €8.50 was thrown out the window. Too bad. Because it looked really tasty (see photo) and you're used to different things.

We were extremely surprised by the food. The map isn't too big after all. We can absolutely recommend the tuna and salmon bowl. The blast was the Tuna Sashimi as a starter. To put in. We will definitely come back.

A nice place, the food was delicious and the price was right. The garden water is highly recommended!

Beware!! They are scamming people. Nowhere did it say they would put extra charge on the bill for service. This is ILLEGAL!! Tips should be voluntary. The business can't just force it on the bill. Don't ever visit this place. Find somewhere else where they are upfront and honest. We will report this place.

Super netter Service, Essen war schnell da, gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, ist halt mal was besonderes für "Nicht-Hamburger" Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Natürlich wird hier ein Konzept systemgastronomisch durchgezogen - die Qualität der Speisen ist aber wirklich gut, das Service sehr freundlich.

Super great location, very nice staff. We were there on 2 evenings and enjoyed great service. The staff is young, lively, funny. The food was very tasty without a long wait. All in all, highly recommended...

We had dinner there about 1-1.5 years ago and it was great! Unfortunately a bad joke today! There was a currywurst that was inedible! It's probably been lying in the corner of the pan for hours!! Terrible !!

Fish Batter too thick. Abit on the salty side. Breaded prawn are not very big. But overall is acceptable.

Unfortunately, it's more fast food than authentic fish enjoyment. For €17 you get fish and chips with two fillets, which consist mainly of batter and have little to offer in terms of taste. The preparation seems careless and designed for mass rather than with care and sophistication. If you want to enjoy real, good fish in Hamburg, you should go to a small, authentic restaurant. Ambience ok.

In retrospect, I'm pretty disappointed: the food had more of a fast food character than a northern German flair. In particular, the price of €19.50 for five shrimp strips with (admittedly good) fries is completely overpriced. When I asked the waiter if I could order some more mayo, he reacted annoyed and pointed out that I already had remoulade sauce in the jar anyway 😂 Flexibility and friendliness in service are different. If you want to do something good for your wallet and your palate, you should visit the Hamburg fish market! I won’t let Henssler “tease” me anymore.

Ottima la cotoletta Ahoi e le patatine per nulla pesanti anche se non proprio light molto buona la bowl di salmone ricca e abbondante buono anche se forse un po’ troppo unto il fish&chips.Peccato poca scelta di birra alla spina visto il locale e il tipo di cibo mi sarei aspettato più scelta, con un bar migliore potrebbe essere anche un buon4 su 5.Il locale è luminoso e senza odore di fritto.Personale cortese e prezzo medio piatto e birra media sui 30 €

Food was delicious, drinks are expensive

I was a bit skeptical as to whether it was as good as you might think, but all I can say is that I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Big praise to the team!

It's okay, but you shouldn't expect star standards, the dining atmosphere is relaxed and the service is good. Our expectations were just about met, we would have expected a little more because of the name.

Sehr freundliches Personal und gute Küche in der Mann auch Reinschauen kann. Im Außenbereich sind ausreichend Sitzplätze vorhanden. 👍 Weiter so.

Das Ambiente draußen ist - bedingt durch die Einkaufsstraße - nicht ganz so schön, weil man keine „Ruhe“ hat. Das Essen ist lecker und toll.

I have eaten here several times at Ahoi in HH and was very satisfied today too. The food is delicious, the service is great, everything is friendly and quick too. Compared to before, I noticed the noticeably smaller portions. I mentioned this and I was probably not alone with this comment. An interesting conversation arose about this, and yes, you can understand the reasons. But ultimately I found the quantity served today to be borderline in relation to the price... But that doesn't change the fact that you can eat well here in a nice atmosphere and with very good service!

Die Sushi Bowl war rundum gelungen. Einladend für s Auge, ein neues Geschmackserlebnis durch hervorragend aromatisch abgestimmte Gewürznoten. Die Limo dazu war herrlich erfrischend und absolut köstlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The service is good, as is the food. However, it has to be said that it is nothing special. I thought the prices were good for the fries, but unfortunately overpriced for the fish sandwich because the fillet piece was very small.

Were there on Saturday evening without a reservation. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat for 3 people. Great atmosphere and super friendly service! Sehr lecker,..tolle Karte, das ganze Ambiente modern und einfach auf den Punkt. Im Grunde ohne Fehler… Portionen sollten größer sein… 90€ zu 3.,.. hauptgängchen und jeder ein Getränk… und ich war wirklich nur geschmacklich satt… Alles in allem aber sehr zufrieden und würde wiederkommen und auch weiterempfehlen..

Very good tasty food. Popcorn with metal ahoy cups was offered with the drinks. We were able to enjoy the Terriaki Beef Burger 🍔 and an appetizer of Tuna. Rounded off with sesame seeds for dessert, there were churros with milk ice cream. 😋 Furnishings modern

The service was top notch. Nice accommodating just on point. The potion sizes of the bowls could be a little larger for this price. The drinks were very tasty and nicely prepared. The price of nine euros per Aperol is justified here. The location in the middle of the pedestrian zone simply gives you Turi vibes, hence only three stars for the ambience.

We had Fish'n'Chips Henssler Style and found it really tasty. Lots of fish and the composition with the tartar sauce and coriander, simply perfect. We will definitely come back.

Tolle für jeden was dabei, auch an die Kids wird gedacht. Zusätzlich Soßen können ausgewählten werden, kosten extra, etwas teurer als erwartet (die Soße)

If you had asked us a year ago everything would have been great, now the prices have risen so high and the portions are small and the burger is no longer of the quality it once was. Salmon bowl still tastes great, portion is sadly small!! Too bad!!! Service was understanding and great as always

Had the fish and chips. Poor quality and poor value. Too much salt in the batter hiding a very small piece of fish that had little texture and even less taste, and this for almost 20 euro.

Location is very good. Unfortunately the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Seat cushions broken, floor dirty, I don't want to think about the sanitary facilities anymore. One condition was great. Unfortunately for the other lady you were a nuisance as a guest. The food was delicious.

The name Henssler is associated with good food. So we tried the Ahoy once. The food was tasty and it was nice there, but it wasn't a must have either. More of a mix between convenience store and burger joint. Even if our expectations weren't quite met, the concept worked because the store was packed.

We were the first here today and it was really great. We will and can only recommend it, even though we are here because of a recommendation. Keep it up

Had a table reserved online for our trip through Hamburg, mandatory PitStop at Ahoi, definitely burgers and fries in a different league... staff super friendly, total relaxation in the kitchen even though almost all tables were occupied... cracker keeps it up

Ci siamo recati per pranzo in questo ristorante guidati dalle recensioni di Tripadvisor e rincuorati del fatto che la cucina rimaneva aperta fino tardi. Locale molto moderno e grande scelta nel menu. Noi abbiamo preso un currywurst e una schnitzel ahoi ed era tutto buonissimo; ottima qualità dei prodotti e servizio veloce e gentile. Ottime anche le birre. In tutto abbiamo pagato 45€, che considerando la zona (centro di Amburgo) e quanto mangiato ci può stare. Sicuramente da ripetere.

Zum dritten Mal im Ahoi! in Hamburg gewesen. Burger Teriyaki mit Fritten Henssler-Style waren wirklich super gut. Auch die Eistees und Limonaden sind nur zu empfehlen. Preislich in der oberen Klasse, was aber sicherlich auch an der Lage und dem Namen liegt - lohnt sich aber, macht man ja auch nicht jeden Tag

Das Essen war wahnsinnig lecker und der Service sehr nett und lustig. Die Toiletten könnten sauberer sein, teilweise kein Toilettenpapier da und Boden schmutzig

Great food, nice staff. Was there at lunchtime and had to wait for a train. No waiting times, lots of space. First-class fish & chips (Hennsler style) and churros. Interior design and style is really very good. Really recommended!!!

Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Henssler thought, oh that must be great. Unfortunately it wasn't. The atmosphere there was quite loud and crowded, I didn't find it comfortable. The prices there are quite high and what was offered for it was unfortunately not worth it at all. Fries were rock hard and the schnitzel was bone dry and didn't taste good at all. Was very disappointed after my visit (2019). Service was prompt as it was busy that day. Reaction to the answer to my review: I will give you a second chance when I get the chance and of course adjust my rating accordingly.
