Delivery via Uber Eats - The first thing that struck us was the attractive presentation, even the packaging was quite sustainable. Then, which is very rare, the food was still piping hot despite being delivered. (The restaurant has its own driver.) - But most importantly: the food is soooo delicious. It tastes (really!) like it was made with love. I never eat rice - but I had to eat this rice, it was so delicious. Every single dish was a 6/5 because, while we expected food to taste good, we didn't expect it to taste this good. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. -- Dear Kypros team, please keep up the great work! We'll see you very soon in person at your restaurant.

We'd already had great experiences with Lieferando and wanted to try them in person. It was worth it! The service is fantastic, and the people are incredibly friendly. 👌

We were there with a large group on a Saturday at 6:30 pm. The restaurant was practically fully booked, so the drinks didn't arrive for about 45 minutes and the food for another 1.5 hours. So, don't arrive too thirsty or hungry. However, the quality more than makes up for it. The restrooms are upstairs, which can be problematic for guests with disabilities. Parking is also very limited, but at €3.00/hour, it's inexpensive. Otherwise, everything was great. ☺️👍

I wasn't there in person, but I ordered and was very satisfied! A decent portion of gyros, crispy yet juicy, the salad, rice, bread, and tzatziki were all perfectly fine – and all for under €15 per person. Keep it up, Kypros!

We came all the way from Stade because this is supposed to be an exceptionally good Greek restaurant. I had made a reservation for nine people, but they only set the table for eight, so it was very cramped. We also had two children with us, for whom there unfortunately wasn't a separate menu. So, their only option was the side of fries. The side salad was simple, but the dressing was delicious! The gyros was average for me, the tzatziki was too small and also rather average in taste. The fries could have been crispier. The tiramisu was very tasty! The waitstaff were friendly, but sometimes they were a bit slow. Payment by VISA is possible. In conclusion: An average Greek restaurant, and I wouldn't travel all the way to Hamburg for it again. Stade can definitely compete and even has better options.

As a lover of Greece and a self-proclaimed taster of all kinds of squid/cuttlefish/calamari dishes, I can only say that this restaurant is top-notch. The service was super friendly, and the main course came with delicious bread, aioli, and an extra salad. The food tasted fresh and was wonderfully prepared. The price-performance ratio was also excellent, which is sadly rare to find in Hamburg these days. Furthermore, I felt very well served, even though I was the only one at a table for four. Unfortunately, I can't give 10 stars. You're all amazing people! My girlfriend and I had a fantastic evening, even though we were in the forbidden city. Wischni (sorry, I'm 100% sure he misspelled it) was a bit stingy with the ouzo (just kidding). Best guy ever... If we didn't live so far away, we'd only eat at your place. My conclusion: awesome place, amazing owner, just awesome people. The only downside is that your place is in the forbidden city. Green and white greetings 😘

I recently had a class reunion and wasn't thrilled that it was held at this Greek restaurant. The last time I was there was about 20 years ago, but I still had bad memories of it. The service is friendly and personal, the location is great when the weather is good, but in the heart of a restaurant, the food should have brought my disappointment from 20 years ago into the present. The salad, as you can see from the picture, was presented in a careless manner, drenched in dressing, the likes of which I haven't seen in a long time. The calamari was okay, but the rice I asked for instead of fries (they changed it easily) had the consistency of putty and I didn't touch it again after I tried it.

The food was nothing special. We ordered an appetizer plate and for the main dish calamary plate and bifteki. My experience was better for those dishes in different Greek restaurants in Hamburg. I thought the service was satisfying until I got scolded by the waiter while paying the bill. I rejected to pay tip he irreverently persisted and he, instead of respecting my decision as it is supposed to, talked to me in a condescending tone. Plus, the prices are too high for its quality.

We stayed at the Best Western Raphael Altona and were looking for a place within walking distance. Thanks to Google, I came across the Kypros restaurant, where the food was so delicious and the service was super nice and friendly. We'd love to go back on our next visit to Hamburg!

Hello everyone, We had delicious Greek food in a lovely "small" restaurant. Despite being almost 100% full, the wait for drinks and ordered meals was very short. The large number of staff members who were available to look after the guests was certainly an advantage. And despite all the stress, the staff always had time for a quick chat and a little fun. The reviews surprise me. The gyro and fries were lukewarm, nothing special. The 0.3l Coke is a water-syrup mix. It was stale. They kindly brought us an Original Coke instead. It ended up being 0.2l, but still only cost 10 cents less (€3.80), which I found quite expensive. I got the feeling they were trying to make as much money as possible out of very little. A shame. The service was attentive and friendly.

By the time we were seated, they'd swallowed the drop and ignored us. Our order went wrong, we were missing a drink, and there was no sign of the appetizer either... Our glasses were empty, and the empty dishes were just sitting there... No one came to ask how we were doing or anything; the waitress was preoccupied with themselves!! Today, on a sunny Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., we luckily found a place to eat in the outdoor area of ​​the "Kypros". The menu was brought by the quick waiter and is very large and varied. Lamb shank with rice, beans and side salad was very good, as was the Greek salad with sheep's cheese and the lukewarm bread (plenty) with a green garlic cream that was served as an amuse gueule. Since we weren't inside the restaurant, we can't say anything about the interior design etc. The staff, which was very well staffed in numbers, was on point and very friendly. The food was served within about 10-15 minutes. The boss was always present and pitched in without forgetting to ask every now and then at the occupied tables whether everything was OK. We were greeted very friendly and - like all guests - with an ouzo.

And I have NEVER experienced this souflaki being fantastically grilled and seasoned pork tenderloin. That was really awesome. Sooo juicy. The rice I ordered with it had a fantastic light flavor of laurel. I have NEVER eaten a good souflaki before. The food was average, rather lousy: the fries were extremely dry, the meat (gyros) was a bit over-seasoned, which is always a bad sign of quality. The calamari was good. Maybe the first waiter was in a bad mood, it didn't seem like they were welcoming. Luckily the price was appropriate for the overall quality. Unfortunately not really recommended. There are tons of other better Greek restaurants. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening with my friends.
