We ate here today and were absolutely thrilled! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome. The food: The selection is simply gigantic. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the ingredients at the live cooking buffet. You can create your own plate from a huge selection of seafood (prawns, mussels, crayfish) and various meats, which are then freshly prepared. The sushi counter is also a highlight – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! For fans of classic dishes, there's crispy duck, chicken, and plenty of side dishes. The fruit was crisp and fresh, and the chocolate fountains (even with white chocolate!) were the perfect ending to the evening. Quality & Cleanliness: Everything appears very clean and hygienic. The buffet items are constantly replenished, so you never find yourself facing empty platters. The quality of the products – especially the raw fish and meat – is outstanding. Ambiance & Service: The restaurant is very cozy and stylishly furnished. Despite its size, there's a pleasant atmosphere where you can easily have a conversation. The service was first-class: The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and empty plates were cleared away in a flash. It's clear that hospitality is a top priority here. In short: Excellent value for money and a must for anyone who appreciates good food in a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

It just didn't taste good, everything was cold and from the Kaufland next door; we felt sick after eating it.

You can get everything from seafood at this restaurant... various types of chicken and meat too, and let's not forget the vegetarians.

What happened to this once great all-you-can-eat place? The food was lukewarm, and not all the sushi was fresh (the salmon and tuna weren't very fresh). The spring rolls were practically tasteless. At least the duck and shrimp were okay. The tables weren't wiped down, and there was rice and lipstick stuck to the newly laid napkins. We used to come here often and loved it. After about a year and a half away, we were rather disappointed. That's why it's no longer a 5-star restaurant like it was 3 years ago. At least the drinks arrived super fast...

Absolutely outrageous. I ate there six days ago and spent five days getting a new innard out of every opening. Unfriendly and terrible service. Even if you're cheap, the basics should be right.

Service was practically nonexistent. The food was simply awful. Half of it was cold, and the rest tasted like it had been sitting out since the day before yesterday. Eat somewhere else.

Cold buffet and unprofessional service I was there today with friends – unfortunately, for the last time. We had made reservations for a 90th birthday. When we arrived, they acted like they were hearing about it for the first time. The food was cold, the duck was wobbly...we cleared the plates ourselves...zero service...we wouldn't recommend it...we shouldn't eat here again, it's a shame. The food was then fried on the dirty grill. When I said I wasn't eating it anymore, I was threatened that I would have to pay extra for the plates. I have already reported the whole thing to the health department and taken pictures. The fruit was dried out and old, so we'll just have to use the ice cream freezer, so it couldn't be more disgusting, ice was stacked up and stuck to the icy freezer. Now on to the service, you had to clear the plates yourself and the trolleys were really filthy and overflowing. Nobody came to the table and asked if you wanted something to drink. The plates and cutlery were dirty, full of crumbs and dried-on stains. I think that's a serious health hazard. In my opinion, the restaurant should be closed. Who knows what the kitchen looks like if the restaurant itself is already so busy?

Good place for those who like Asian food.

The sweet and sour sauce was diluted. The sauces had virtually no flavor. And I'm still shocked by the ice cream freezer. You can't just put leftover ice cream on top of your meal. Everything sticks to the freezer, and it's beyond frozen and not appetizing. We always loved coming here, but after today, we won't be having it anymore.

The cheesecake was soaked with water. The watermelon was old and tasteless. I tried three dishes and all tasted like nothing. The still water was tap water! Too expensive for the "quality." Never again.

I (mom) was just about to get dessert and my daughter really wanted to make the skewers and the chocolate fountain. The manager came up to me and told me that her employee had seen my daughter eat. I said she had only tried something twice, and she said I have to pay the full children's price. I was like, I'm definitely not paying 15 euros because my daughter tried something twice. Then I got half of the 15 euros. I was like, no, I'm definitely not paying that amount either. My daughter didn't have a full plate, and then my son ate something too. I said, my son is 2 years old. It was a total disgrace. I didn't even ask for the bill, we weren't even finished eating yet, and then they charged full price for a child who only tried it twice. I also asked the employee if she saw my daughter's plate, but she didn't say anything. We paid immediately without eating my dessert. When I wanted to leave with my children, she started talking loudly and gossiping with the employees so that everyone could hear.

Most of the food from the buffet was cold, and much of it was already gone. It wasn't refilled even at 7 p.m. The sushi smelled strange. The meat and fish from the live cooking didn't look fresh; they were cooked very tough and were inedible. We won't be coming back.

We were there on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 6:15 p.m., and everything was almost completely empty. They hadn't refilled anything for ages (but that's what many of the reviews say, so it's probably normal there). Instead, we had to pay €23 per person for nuggets and fries (which were there). We had guests from Munich, who were shocked and said that in Munich, they immediately refill everything as soon as it's empty. Anyway, the last time we were there, never again! So, if you want to pay €23 per person for soggy fries and nuggets, feel free to go there.

Cakes are completely frozen. Meat and vegetables are dry and overcooked. The atmosphere is out of stock and dirty. The restrooms are a disgrace!

On one occasion, the food wasn't good because it had been sitting for a while. Also, my wife had a metal shaving in her food, probably from the sponge. It can happen sometimes, but it shouldn't be, thank God she didn't swallow it! We used to go there often and enjoyed it, but not anymore.

For the price of the buffet, the service offered is completely inadequate. The area around the buffet is always unappetizing and dirty. Cutlery and dishes are frequently not washed thoroughly. Furthermore, refilling empty buffets often occurs with an unreasonable delay. The service staff could also be significantly improved in terms of appearance and efficiency. It is also noteworthy that glasses, dishes, and tables are frequently found dirty. Particularly noticeable are the dirty areas near the window, where food scraps and general dirt cover the floor. Overall, the hygiene conditions leave much to be desired. Although the overall experience is not entirely negative, there is considerable potential for improvement in several areas. It would be encouraging if measures could be taken promptly to provide guests with a completely satisfactory experience.

Very good selection. Taste ok. Unfortunately sometimes only lukewarm. Next to the buffet there were 2 clearing trolleys with the used dishes with leftover food from the guests, which wasn't very appetizing on the way to get food. If you like eating and being served garbage, this is the place for you! I was there during the week at lunchtime. I would prefer to give 0 stars. The sushi looked very unappetizing and wasn't fresh (rice was hard, cucumber rancid, shrimp hard and tough). Some of them also contain inedible shrimp tails (waste, see picture). The dishes from the buffet were cold, the cakes were still frozen, the chocolate fountain hadn't been cleaned from the day before. They already knew why they didn't ask if everything was okay and whether it tasted good. It's an impertinence to ask for money for this. Never again !

All of the food had little taste and was only lukewarm; the shushi buffet consisted of two components (cucumber and salmon). Raw meat at the buffet 🤢 In recent years we have been to the Asianstar in Neuötting more often on occasions such as birthdays, but unfortunately we have noticed how the quality has gradually declined. However, the tip of the iceberg was reached on the last visit. As we mentioned at the beginning, we have been guests more often, so we are used to the buffet being often cold and the popular dishes being empty and not being refilled. Yesterday, however, I had raw meat twice in one evening at the buffet. The first time it was the fried beef - I thought to myself "that could happen" and let the plate go back. On the next plate I got fried pork and experienced exactly the same thing again... After I ate one piece and was amazed at the terrible consistency, I took a closer look at the second piece - it was STILL RAW INSIDE. Confronted with the fact that several dishes at the buffet were undercooked and cold, the waitress didn't react particularly confidently by holding her hand demonstratively over the buffet and saying "it's warm" - and then simply leaving without any further comments - thank you for the conversation. In addition to these already serious defects, if you take a closer look you will repeatedly stumble upon things that are outrageous. The peanut sauce had obviously been at the buffet several times; it was very dried out and lumpy around the edges. This is not only unsavory but also dangerous. The buffet was set at 60 degrees. This is a breeding ground for germs, which feel particularly at home in sauces. The plates, but especially the ice cream bowls, were absolutely not clean. There were black crumbs in there - I don't even want to know what they were. After we actively complained about the deficiencies to another (friendlier and more attentive) service person (a young man), the boss came to our table and promised improvement. Above all, excuses were sought, but that is better than simply being ignored. As an "apology" we received a 10% discount on the buffet price. That was €11 for 5 adults. Given the facts, it's actually a joke - but in that situation I probably wouldn't know how to compensate for such an experience. As an alternative, we were also offered a 20€ voucher - but you can imagine that we will stay away for the time being and therefore politely declined the voucher. Since the experience, the quality and the hygiene have developed so terribly here in the last few years, prices have been increased and dishes have been cut (e.g. fried noodles were just spaghetti with soy sauce and oil yesterday), I can only advise against a visit. For the hearty buffet price of €22, you can get much more carefree and high-quality food elsewhere.

Arrived at the buffet, visually ok, visually! Sushi rice was probably re-topped from the night before. First joy, everlasting “fresh” cooking. Second joy: the plates arrived after 45 minutes, barely 10 tables occupied! What was cooked was black, the rest was almost inedible and was probably very similar to the others in the restaurant. The manager of the store came to collect the cash and didn't ask a word how it was... Paid, decency requires a small tip. The waitress comes to the customer very quickly with the spetzi that was ordered over an hour ago, so the service is good... Asiastar neuötting what's going on with you?

The staff was very nice. We were there quite early, which is why there wasn't much going on, so the drinks arrived quickly and the dishes were cleared away straight away. The buffet has a fairly large selection of salads and vegetables for vegetarians, but there is also plenty for fish and meat lovers. The vegetables, for example the cucumbers, were clearly no longer fresh and were already very dried out and shriveled. The plates are already quite worn and not that clean. Meat and fish for the grill are on ice and covered, as is the sushi, but small fruit flies are already flying around over other dishes. They have a large selection of sauces and the like. The food itself was very good. I mostly helped myself to the grill. The first time I only had fish of my choice, which was very well prepared and tasty, even though I didn't choose any sauce. The second time I discovered the vegetables. The vegetables were prepared perfectly, still had a light bite and gentle roasted aromas. Glutamate is probably used in the already finished dishes, which unfortunately you can taste a bit, but otherwise the dishes are not bad. Unfortunately, possible allergens are not stated, only that flavor enhancers are included. What was particularly confusing was the arbitrary labeling of the fish, so that you could hardly tell what was what. The tables and the restaurant are very clean and the decoration is not too overwhelming. Due to its location next to Kaufland, there is a fairly large parking space available. The restaurant is also easy to enter with a wheelchair. We had to wait a long time to be able to pay because the employees kept looking past us even though we were sitting quite centrally. Overall, a good restaurant with a large selection and a fair price, but there is a bit of room for improvement here and there. At the end of the day you run the risk of overeating because you just want to try everything! In any case, I would love to come back and enjoy the good grill again.

This is not the first time in my life that I have eaten crocodile, and I will say 100% that they are selling God knows what under crocodile. The products are not the freshest, especially fruits. The squid rings are hard, like rubber, most likely the squid is old. There is no cook as such, there was either a bartender or a waiter behind the stove, so the quality of the prepared dishes leaves much to be desired. + European cards (Mastercard, visa) are not connected to the terminal, only local ones. When you pay, the girl will blatantly not give you the change, and if she does, she tries to give you less until you reprimand her, there are problems with calculations. Many plates remained uneaten by a large number of people, and it was certain items that were really not particularly edible. When compared with other all u can eat establishments, this is still in last place of all the places I have been to. Perhaps we have found ourselves on such a day, I do not exclude it, you can judge what to do after reading. But if you ask my opinion, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, to be honest)

For some dishes it took a while until they were available again, then a new cycle was started because there was enough else there. The fried foods weren't optimal, but still good. The service was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time here but definitely not the last.

We made reservations for 17 people, when we arrived no one really knew about it. We were then given a place in the corner, a kind of niche with several tables. Unfortunately, this was probably also the “employees’ corner”, and the owners’ children were also there, so it looked very untidy. Of course not exactly appealing if you want to eat in a relaxed manner. At first this didn't bother us, but later the children played extremely loudly with consoles, which was annoying. It also became extremely warm there, almost unbearable if you didn't go outside regularly. The food was ok, nothing special, classic Asian buffet quality. What particularly bothered me was that there was a pack of cigarettes on a food container right next to the hotplates where the self-made food was prepared. Unfortunately, this doesn't have much to do with hygiene. Some people felt bad with stomach upset that evening and the next few days because of the food. Some of the meat was raw, maybe that could be the reason. The strawberries were beyond bad, some were almost moldy, and I definitely couldn't give them to my children anymore. The waitresses were nice and there was a free cocktail for my birthday. Given the high price, we will eat somewhere else next time.

Price performance absolutely incomprehensible, unkempt seats, unkempt toilets, cutlery and crockery broken and unclean. Operation lacks enthusiasm. Food not nicely presented, tasted ok but deficient for 20 euros. not justified. I can't recommend it

Food was OK, the service was terrible, after 50 minutes and asking twice we got our drink, the buffet was always empty.

Good food and nice service! Buffet for 13 euros with a plentiful selection that suits my taste!

Everything you need is there, very nice people

Very, very tasty food and a large selection.

The last time we went was 3 years ago and we are still as enthusiastic as we were back then! Buffet has a lot of choice, everything is labeled and tastes fresh and good. Show cooking is quick and well prepared. Service friendly. Can't understand the bad reviews, the facility is completely fine for its age, the toilets are clean and intact. Were at the evening buffet. It's impossible for guests next to us to go out with their belongings to smoke and then complain that the table was cleared!! Honestly, you can imagine that it will be cleared away, which is completely understandable!

I think it's a shame that hygiene isn't really a big issue here. The staff is actually quite okay. The atmosphere is nice, I just feel sorry for the fish. Far too few plants and hiding places. The aquarium seemed very desolate. Plus, hygiene isn't really an issue here either. Leftover food was scattered everywhere, especially in the cracks of the seating.

Great food and super nice staff

It's a standard Chinese with the usual selection of food (cart/Chinese buffet and a Mongolian grill) and drinks. The quality of the food was good and the food was at just the right temperature. All in all, you get exactly what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant.

The food or the buffet is really okay. The service is beyond bad. If you make a reservation, then nothing is reserved. You have to order drinks repeatedly because otherwise you will die of thirst. You always have to check the invoice. If it wasn't good and cheap, I wouldn't do it.

We had lunch there (buffet). If something wasn't there, something new was brought straight away, very friendly staff.

Reichliche Essensauswahl, wurde auch immer nachgefüllt. Aber man isst immer zu viel.

I'm großen und ganzen viel essen für guten Preis. Könnte gern mal neues angeboten werden. Teils sehr kalt im Restaurant Kellner läuft einem zum Tisch hinterher U fragt gleich nach trinken U man sitzt noch nicht Mal. Das Essen übelst verbrennen lassen. Fleisch trocken U sehr lange gewartet gar keinen Geschmack nach der soße nur verbrannt

Genial, was es da alles gibt. Ein riesen Buffet, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Auch rohe Meerestiere oder seltenes Fleisch (Zebra, Känguru,, Krokodil usw ) kann man sich nach eigenem Gusto zubereiten lassen. Immer ein Erlebnis und der Preis abends ist für diese Vielfalt mehr als gerechtfertigt.

Sehr großzügiges und umfangreiches Buffet. Preislich in Ordnung. Geschmacklich perfekt!
