Similarly, I came here in September and was one of the customers who waited for an hour after ordering but still didn't receive my tableware. I was even told to leave if I couldn't wait any longer. I saw your reply to another comment; please inform dine-in customers of their expected wait time and how many people are ahead of you in the phone reservation queue. Promptly providing dine-in customers with tableware and water will earn you a tip, won't it? Instead of telling customer to leave if you can't wait. I'm not criticizing you, I'm helping you improve your service and attract more people.

I dined at this restaurant in September, and the service was absolutely outrageous. I waited over an hour after ordering, and neither my cutlery nor my food arrived. Meanwhile, many other customers had already received their orders. I complained to the owner in English, and she replied in Chinese. Was she afraid foreigners would understand? Finally, she told me, "If you can't wait, leave." Her attitude was extremely rude. Afterwards, she went back to the kitchen and told her husband that I was cursing at her, which was completely untrue. Later, I saw the chef finally putting my food into the pot, so I got up and left. In short, avoid this restaurant!!! Very bad service and disappointing experience when I dined in this September!!! I waited for over one hour, and they still hadn’t served my food, not even the tableware. Meanwhile, all other customers received their take-away orders. When I raised this issue with the lady boss, she told me that “just leave if I couldn’t wait”. After that, she went back to the kitchen and told her husband that I was scolding her, which was not true. Only then did the chef finally start cooking my food. Overall, this restaurant do not welcome dine-in customers especially Chinese customers.

This place hits the spot every single time. The food is so fresh and good, people there very friendly, and the value for money is evenly great. Would recommend this to everyone.

Some dishes were good but some were just too salty.

The small side street behind the Galluswarte is certainly not a particularly convenient location for a Chinese restaurant – which makes Asian Flavors an insider tip. It probably relies primarily on lunch and takeaway business with employees from the surrounding offices, but there's always room for dinner. In this small family business, the owner, who has gained extensive professional experience in China, cooks, and his wife serves attentively and friendly. As is to be expected in Chinese restaurants in big cities, there are two menus: a German one with common Euro-Asian restaurant dishes (sweet and sour duck, "crispy chicken strips with peanut sauce," etc.) and, for connoisseurs and fellow countrymen who occasionally find their way to Hufnagelstrasse, a Chinese one (with English translation) with a small selection of popular "classics," especially from the Sichuan cuisine that has become popular throughout China: the famous Huiguorou (pork belly boiled and fried with spicy bean paste, see picture), the cult dish Shuizhu Yupian (fish fillet with bean sprouts in chili broth), Mapo Doufu (tofu cubes with spicy minced meat sauce), or Shousi Baocai (hand-pulled pointed cabbage fried with belly pork and chili). Those who can't stand the heat of chili can choose milder alternatives, such as Cantonese doufu bao (tofu in a clay pot) or roumo qiezi (eggplant with minced meat), or delicate beef with bell peppers, and of course, various noodle soups. When there are a lot of Chinese people in Frankfurt during trade fairs, there's sometimes a special weekly menu. I once had shizitou ("lion's head," meat dumplings with cabbage) and the scrambled eggs with tomatoes familiar to all Chinese. The quality is really good: The smoky "stove aroma" (which you can never quite achieve at home due to the lack of a high-fire stove) is spot on, and I recently ate a huiguorou with an absolutely perfect "mouthfeel" (kougan). The chef is always happy to cook original dishes and showcase his skills. The prices for the more labor-intensive original dishes, which require more specialized ingredients, are higher than on the German menu, but this is fully justified by the quality. Authentic drinks are also provided: There are the typical high-proof spirits (baijiu) such as Gaoliang (sorghum brandy, 62%), Meiguilu (rose-flavored), or Erguotou (a typical worker's liquor). The popular non-alcoholic summer drink Suanmeitang (an infusion of smoked plums and spices) is offered seasonally. There is only one spatial disadvantage: the round tables with turntables, so popular with Chinese people, aren't available; they don't fit into the elongated room. The kitchen is also small, so for larger groups, it's impossible for one cook to prepare everything at once—you have to be prepared for that. At Asian Flavors, I've already managed to inspire several Germans to try authentic Chinese food. Guests feel valued there, so we wish Asian Flavors "a long life of ten thousand years."

An institution in the Gallus district. I can't understand why it's usually not very busy. The food is sensational, especially for the price. The very good authentic Chinese dishes have unfortunately become a bit more expensive recently. The interior is perhaps a bit too simple for a longer stay. All in all, a definite recommendation. Please go there and give the owner and the Gallus many more years of shared delicious business.

Tastes authentic and excellent. I always enjoy eating there. I've been for years. The staff is also super friendly.

Really very very good food. In particular, the authentic dishes with original Chinese recipes are incredibly tasty and something different than the run-of-the-mill Asian snack bar. The prices are also completely reasonable for Frankfurt and the portion sizes are definitely filling. Also very positive: very friendly staff. Clear recommendation

Had a great meal at Asian Flavors. We went right at the evening opening and were lucky to find parking out front on the street. The food is delicious and we found the portions were generous. We had wonton soup, crispy chicken w rice, noodles w beef and a small portion of vegetables. Excellent food!

Except reasonable price and fast service, food was really salty. Rice was not well cooked. There was a group of chinese guests who made a lot of noise. It sounds like I was at the market when they kept talking out loud.

Well...Maybe I am picky...Just a normal Chinese restaurant. A portion is not good enough for me. At least a noodle soup.

This is a really delicious Chinese restaurant that is easily accessible from Frankfurt. The price is cheap but the quantity is large. The owner was really friendly and the food was delicious no matter what we ordered. In particular, mapo tofu was different from Korean style, but it was really good to eat with rice. If you're craving fried noodles and fried rice, stop by. I enjoyed it so much that I am leaving a review.

Nice Chinese restaurant. Clean and comfy but a little hot may be because the weather is already hot here and ac was not working properly. The boss lady was super nice, she understood some English. Food was good, portion size was very big. The seafood soup was specially delicious. Recommended.

For what I assume is only a two person team I had a pleasant experience here. Soup was tasty as was the curry (could have been a little spicier!) The ingredient’s all tasted so fresh and yummy which was a BIG WIN great cooked to order food. Thanks for having me dine with you.

We order here regularly and everything we have ordered so far has been very tasty without exception: - Gongbao style chicken - Black Pepper Beef - Beef with onions - Fried noodles - Fried rice - Duck with peanut sauce - Gongbao Chicken (Chinese/English menu) - Eggplant (Chinese/English menu) The prices are incredibly fair for the portions, especially for Frankfurt. If we manage to eat there, we will try the hot plates and soups, they look great!

Hatte Hunger und wollte diesen Imbiss schon lange ausprobieren, also diesmal hat geklappt. Essen zum Mitnehmen, WanTan als Vorspeise und gebratene Ente als Hauptgericht. Imbiss leer, es kam sofort jemand zum aufnehmen der Bestellung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sonderwunsch gebratene Nudeln. Ok, kostet extra, aber ist ok. Wurde frisch zubereitet. Und nach ca. 10 min konnte ich losziehen. Zu den WanTans: sehr knusprig, aber zu wenig Füllung ä. Die Ente leider nicht mehr so knusprig, aber war ok. Warum da aber Zucchini und Champignons drin waren, erschließt mir nicht ganz. Und die Nudeln, sehr lecker.

Wir waren schon oft hier essen und die Gerichte sind immer ausreichend groß - mit weniger Hunger könnte man es sich auch teilen. Sonderwünsche werden gerne beachtet. Die freundliche Bedienung hatte uns auch schon auf Besonderheiten der Zubereitung hingewiesen, was ich sehr zu schätzen weiss. Schade finde nicht nur die Verarbeitung von bspw. Zucchini als Gemüse, das ist mir in der asiatischen Küche bis dato nicht geläufig. Für mich passt es nicht so gut, aber ich kann es ja jederzeit abbestellen, daher Daumen hoch. Die chinesischen Frühlingsrollen und die Ente sind sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The photos don't lie. Asian Flavors is a godsend in Frankfurt, especially for Asians looking for comfort food. My dad & I came by here twice during a short work trip as the food is delicious, and the restaurant opened late. The lady boss is a kind Chinese lady and made our dining experience feel like we are back home. The smells from the kitchen is also divine.

Ich war sehr skeptisch aufgrund der viele Guten Bewertungen aber ich muss sagen es ist echt zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, was man leider zu selten in dieser Art von Gastronomie erlebt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Portion macht auf jeden Fall satt. Ich war erst erstaunt über den Preis von 9,50 € für frittiertes Hühnchen mit Erdnussoße, aber es hat sich gelohnt und es ist nicht einfach 08/15. Die Pekingsuppe kann ich nur empfehlen. Ich werde bei Gelegenheit auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und es mir erneut schmecken lassen!

Sehr nette Service Kraft. Nur sollte mann vlt vorbestellen und etwas Zeit mitbringen, sonst ist nichts zu bemängeln oder kritisieren. Das Essen wird dort mit sehr viel Liebe und Zuversicht zubereitet da gehe ich jeder Zeit gerne wieder hin!!

Verzorgde Chineese keuken in een semi-afhaal restaurant. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk, maar beperkt in de Duitse taal. Zoals in zoveel Chinese restaurant zijn er sommige elementen die er totaal niet in thuishoren, zoals een TV, een vuilbak die totaal niet in het zicht past, tafeldetergenten waarmee de gastvrouw de tafels ontsmet wanneer je aan het eten bent.....De soda dranken zijn niet sprankelend omdat ze uit een grote fles komen en al n tijdje openstaan.....De soep was niet echt lekker en het kommetje rook precies naar afwaswater....Het hoofdgerecht was lekker en in een grote hoeveelheid. Een doordeweeks restaurant aan een scherpe prijs, maar niet echt geschikt voor een gezellig onderonsje met familie of vrienden, want daarvoor ontbreekt het restaurant aan sfeer en gezelligheid. Al bij al een aanrader voor een vlugge hap.

I was looking up the internet for a Chinese restaurant and this popped up. It is also walking distance from the hotel I was staying in. The female staff member who attended to me was friendly. The menu was extensive with names of dishes that are familiar. Dishes from the menu I picked was Vegetarian Gyoza and Chicken Cubes with Peanuts. At least I think that was what I ordered, because what was served was Chicken Cubes with Vegetables. I did not mind though as I had my carrots. The portion sizes were large enough and worth the price of the meal.

和几个好朋友一起去的美食家园，听说水煮鱼 片是镇店之宝，果然不错。还有别处很难吃到的爆炒肥肠，宫保鸡丁，蒜苗萝卜丁等食材非常新鲜，调味汁水恰到好处。味道很赞！另外，这家餐馆就靠近电车站边上，下次路过一定会再转进来。
