We ate sweet and sour duck with noodles or rice; the price-performance ratio was excellent at €12, when it should have cost €13 for €26 – perfectly fine for us.

I ordered roast duck with rice and separately roast chicken, and it tasted absolutely delicious! I'm extremely satisfied. The staff were friendly and very quick with the food, which isn't always the case. The prices were also very good! I would definitely order food from there again!

October 23, 2025, 1:25 PM Food (🌟🌟🌟🌟): I had baked wontons with sweet and sour sauce as a starter, crispy duck with 8 treasures as a main course, and fried noodles as a side dish. I don't have any complaints about the starter, but the sauce probably contained too much potato starch, so it was rather lumpy. I can't say anything negative about the side dish, which I thought was absolutely delicious. The main course was a bit too greasy, so I had to put a few tissues on the table to avoid making a mess. It still tasted delicious. Ambience (🌟🌟🌟): The restaurant feels more like a snack bar, as there are only six tables with four chairs each. I couldn't find a restroom. Otherwise, it looks authentically Asian. Price (🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟): The main course costs 14.00 euros, while the starter only cost 4.50. The side dish wasn't charged extra because I had already informed them. At 18.50 euros, it's very reasonable. Service (🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟): The waitress is very friendly and politely tells me to sit at the table while the food is being prepared. Apparently, the guests are also very satisfied. I'm happy to do so 😄 Conclusion: Normally, I would give four stars, as the food is more important. But because the price and service are excellent, all I can say is: Small but mighty! It's what's inside that counts. Not quite flawless, but recommended. I'll keep that in mind for my next KAPPELN vacation in 2026.

Simple Chinese restaurant, good food, top value for money

Unfortunately, we've had better food in other cities. It's "fast food," but it could be better. The Vietnamese spring rolls were good. The main course was overly thick with the sauce. The staff are nice, no question.

I found my soup quite salty. Otherwise, my family and I enjoyed the food, as usual at a "Chinese" restaurant. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The interior is typical.

The only Asian restaurant for miles around. Unassuming from the outside, but always comfortable. The service is fast and friendly, almost like family. You immediately feel at home. The food is excellent. Great sauces and very good value for money. Special requests are no problem. The best "Chinese" restaurant in Kappeln—okay, the only one, but I probably wouldn't change my mind if there were 10 more there 😉. A definite recommendation, and thank you for the great food!

Went there for the first time on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The wangtan and crispy duck with noodles were delicious, plentiful, and well-priced. A wheat beer was €3.50, but hey there. And the friendly service even made us a lovely doggy bag; it was really plentiful. Be sure to make a reservation after 6 p.m. to be on the safe side, as there are only 30 seats.

The noodles were good, the chicken wasn't so great. Tourist prices, that's all.

Their soups are good, and that's the only thing that's good. Everything else tastes the same, poorly seasoned. Dishes labeled as spicy aren't spicy at all. Everything is mild; even those labeled "very spicy" don't have a hint of spiciness. After pointing this out, the lady said there are spices on the table to spice things up. In that case, what's the point of labeling dishes on the menu as spicy if they aren't.

Were there for the first time today and were totally thrilled: very friendly service. Our daughter's special request was promptly fulfilled. Portions are just right to fill you up. The taste was excellent - the peanut sauce was a poem! The baked chicken breast was nice and crispy. Absolutely fair price. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. 100% recommendation from us.

When you stand in front of it you think, mmm, well, I don't know. But it's great. The left door leads into the cozy little restaurant with 6 tables. Lovingly furnished with subtle music in the background. Our two dogs were allowed in and lay nicely under the table. We ordered Chicken Sezchuan and Beef Sezchuan. It tasted absolutely great, it couldn't be better. Portion was quite large (I just managed it and I'm a good eater 🫣) When we are in Kappeln again, we will definitely come back. And boom, I was there again today. Crispy duck was great. The best I've ever had.

Wir waren spontan da gewesen und waren sehr zufrieden leckeres Essen . Da hätte ich noch eine Portion vertragen können.

Wir waren jetzt drei Tage hintereinander hier zum Essen und wenn wir morgen nicht abreisen müssten, dann hätten wir gerne noch mehr ausprobiert. Heute hatten wir Brautnudeln mit Thai Curry und Tofu, die 105 für 9€. Ist zwar nicht super viel, aber total LECKER. Eine Flasche Malzbier kostet 2,50 €. Gestern die 114, 8 Kostbarkeiten mit Ente. (Foto) Die Preise sind echt fair, so dass man auch gerne Trinkgeld gibt :-) Der "Speiseraum" ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und hat nur 6 Tische. Wir können Asia Nudel Wok auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Leckeres kleines China-Restaurant in Kappeln. Hier gibt es eine schier unendliche Anzahl von guten Restaurants, Bistros oder Cafés. Wir hatten aber mal wieder Lust auf asiatischem Essen. Nach kurzem Suchen fanden wir dann diesen kleinen Laden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Kann man mal hingehen, wenn man Appetit auf asiatische Gerichte hat.

Zum Bestellen in ca 20 min fertig. Essen ist lecker aber gibt auch bessere Asiaten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Immer Lecker, frisch und schnell... Die Preise auf der Seite hier sind nicht mehr aktuell aber das stört mich persönlich nicht. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und ich hab hier noch nichts negatives mitbekommen. Schade das sie nicht liefern. Ich würde dann einmal in der woche bestelle.

Sehr nettes Personal. Keine lange Wartezeit bis das Essen zum Tisch kam. Ich selber hatte die Nr. 86 Ente süß/sauer, die ich auch empfehlen kann. Das Ambiente ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber darauf kommt es nicht immer an.

Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, hier wird man gerne als Gast empfangen! Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Preise ebenso. Man kann Essen mitnehmen oder vor Ort in dem kleinen Saal essen, im Sommer auch draußen. Alles ist sehr sympathisch hier!

Sehr gutes Essen zu guten Preisen

Wir haben uns heute so gefreut dort zu essen. Auf der Seite hier, steht geöffnet, an der Eingangstüre, dass sie von Januar bis irgendwann im März auf Urlanb sind. Wäre schon gut, wenn das aktualisiert wird. Die vergangenen Jahre war's dort wirklich sehr gut. Essen hatte immer alle Sterne verdient!

Ein sehr netter kleiner Asiate mit ganz leckerem und preiswerten Essen. Die Portionen waren genau richtig, der Geschmack würzig und typisch asiatisch.Die Bedienung war freundlich und das bestellte Essen wurde recht schnell serviert. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen wenn wir wieder in Kappeln sind.

Das ist Ihnen sicher auch schon geschehen: Sie sind an einem touristischen Ort und würden gerne einheimische Küche ausprobieren und enden zum Schluss in einem Thai- oder Chinarestaurant. So ist es uns in Kappeln geschehen, das eine kulinarische Einöde oder zumindest ein schwieriges Pflaster für kulinarische Experimente zu sein scheint. Einige gute Lokale haben aus unterschiedlichen Gründen zugesperrt. Sonst scheinen Phantasielosigkeit und Massenabfertigung zu dominieren. In einem Lokal direkt am Hafen sassen wir schon und sind dann abgeschreckt durch Personal und Klientel (Hunde...) wieder aufgestanden. Zum Glück haben wir das Asia Nudel Wok gefunden, unsere Rettung mitten in der Altstadt. Das Personal sehr freundlich, die Speisen ausgezeichnet. Wirklich köstlich, familiär und sehr preiswert...
