La Dolce Vita in Kappeln

At first, we were a bit skeptical about the unusually extensive menu. We decided on Indian, and what can I say... we didn't regret it. Completely unexpectedly, the curries were super delicious. We'd gladly go back.

We had dinner there. A schnitzel "Holstein" with two fried eggs and fried potatoes and a mixed salad, as well as a schnitzel with fries and a mixed salad. Both dishes were very tasty. The prices for both dishes are reasonable, in my opinion. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We've eaten at La Dolce Vita at least four times during our vacation in Kappeln, trying a variety of dishes, from steak to baked potatoes to pizza, and have to say that everything was super, super delicious. The staff there is very friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. You can eat inside or outside; both seating options have their own charm. We think the price/performance ratio is completely reasonable, so we'd happily recommend La Dolce Vita.

It was our first time here, but certainly not our last. Absolutely fantastic food and superb service. The ladies are very friendly and accommodating. All in all, it was top-notch 👍 👍 👍 and we'd love to come back.

Schnitzel with mushrooms and onions and fried potatoes. The fried potatoes and the schnitzel were certainly convenience foods. The pork schnitzel was white inside like chicken instead of brown like pork, and the fried potatoes, I don't think they were made from boiled potatoes, more like frozen. My wife's Indian meal was good. The service was very friendly, although constructive criticism after asking if the food was OK was apparently not welcome. Wouldn't come again. A fried pork salmon schnitzel isn't naturally white, but has a pinkish color when raw. When fried, the color changes to a lighter brown as the meat cooks through. The breading may turn golden brown when the schnitzel is fried crispy, but the meat itself remains more reddish-brown, not white.

We ate at Dolce Vita twice during our vacation. Both the Indian dishes and the schnitzel and other dishes were delicious. The service was fast and friendly.

We ate our way through the menu over the course of 14 days and were never disappointed. The fried potatoes are delicious, the fries are super crispy, the schnitzel is still "real," and the sauces are fantastic... Fish and Indian dishes were also available and highly recommended! Plus, the service was very friendly and the wait times were short. And to finish off, a lovingly selected surprise schnapps... What more could you want! It's a shame the delivery radius doesn't extend to your home 😃

We were really hungry after a strenuous day of sightseeing. Of course, our child wanted pizza! But in addition to excellent Italian dishes, you'll also find excellent fish dishes and fantastic Indian food here. We were also impressed by the dessert menu. Service: Committed, warm, and always with the well-being of the guests in mind! We felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Card payments are accepted.

When it comes to asparagus schnitzel, in season, you get asparagus from a jar with ready-made sauce... Plus, the schnitzel was tough. The rest of the family also mumbled "hmm, so-so" when asked how it tasted. What a shame.

Our daughter has celiac disease, which is a gluten intolerance. They explained to us in detail what she couldn't eat and how to modify certain dishes to ensure she had something to eat. Food and drinks were all great, we will be back

We were in Kappeln for the herring festival and had two schnitzels delivered to the Schleihotel. One was a gypsy schnitzel and one with champignon. Both were unseasoned, undercooked, and the side dishes were inedible. I don't know if it's always like this or just because it was busy. We would never order from there again. Even when it's busy, the food should still be tasty. The driver who delivered the food deserves a positive rating; he was very nice.

What a shame! We often have food delivered. It's always been delicious to this day! Schnitzel with cream sauce wasn't seasoned at all and the fried potatoes weren't really brown. Bacon or diced ham? Haven't been fried at all! What a shame! After complaining over the phone, I was told that the boss cooked! So there was no response! I think it's a shame because we often order from you but no feedback is really sad!

Kappeln is always worth a visit.

Terrace not very attractively furnished. Service very friendly and attentive. The pizza was calmly satisfying, the dough was too firm, and it had a slight factory feel (circular) so it didn't seem handmade.

We were looking for a restaurant in Kappeln that was open on a Monday evening, so we asked in the Facebook group “Kappeln an der Schlei” two weeks in advance. Almost all sensible answers recommended La Dolce Vita. In addition to the expected pasta and pizza dishes, the menu also offers a smorgasbord of local and even Indian dishes. This usually makes people skeptical. The ambience has a rather impersonal character and not really charisma. BUT: The service is even more personal, very friendly and attentive. Special requests were also fulfilled. And the food is really very good! The price/performance ratio is also good. So in its category, full marks for La Dolce Vita and a justified recommendation for down-to-earth, good, delicious food.

We were there for dinner and were very satisfied. Super friendly and attentive service and the food was very good. We had pasta and pizza - both very good and the ice cream for dessert was also delicious. And we didn't have to wait long at all. We'd love to come back again.

After our civil wedding we had dinner at La Dolce Vita with 14 people. It was beautifully decorated for us and the restaurant already offers a great atmosphere. The food and some of the homemade drinks were absolutely delicious, everyone really enjoyed it. Some of our guests went there more often during the week. The employees round off this great restaurant, they are very nice and great at their jobs!

The meat is tender, the vegetables are crunchy and the fries are as they should be. The fried potatoes were also delicious. Great praise to the chef and the service was very nice and attentive. Looking for lunch yesterday I had a super delicious Delhi pizza here. The lunch menu, like many other things, looked good and was fairly priced. The very friendly and attentive service rounded the whole thing off. When I'm in Kappeln again I'll definitely come back :)

The service was impressive thanks to a very nice, funny and open-minded employee who quickly and neatly handed over everything we needed and ordered. Very good! Each of us (there were four of us) would rate the food with more than five stars. It was nicely prepared, tasted great, there was a good portion for everyone and it didn't take long. However, it will definitely be a little different in season Waiting times and booking a table are also an advantage. All in all, it was definitely not the last time we ate here and we would recommend it. In addition, it was great that the big dog (who can behave) could be there without any problems. It was great!!!

Sitzen aktuell heute am 18.08 um 18:07 Uhr noch im Lokal und haben wieder einmal feststellen müssen das die negativen Bewertungen in keiner Weise zutreffend sind. Bedienungen mit teils nordischen Humor einfach genial. Alle sehr nett und kompetent egal ob der Kellner oder die blonde Kellnerin mit Brille👍 Essen super so dass wir 4 mal hier waren .Egal ob das Rumpsteak, Schnitzel oder Schlemmerteller alles frisch gemacht.Ja 1 mal bekam ich kein Beilagensalat die Antwort von der männlichen Bedienung, tja da hab ich keine Vitamine bekommen ...😂😂 er war aber sehr nett und kannte auch unseren Humor😜. Ich kann jeden nur empfehlen da essen zu gehen und wenn was nicht in Ordnung ist es zu sagen ,es wird sich sofort drum bemüht. Einfach mal Danke gesagt dafür.
