Wir hatten einen schönen Abend in der Palette! Sehr leckeres Essen mit super nettem Service 😊 und gemütlichen Ambiente. Als später noch Freunde auf einen Drink dazugekommen sind, wurde uns gleich ein größerer Tisch angeboten. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Hier stimmt einfach alles ⭐️ Sehr angenehmes und gemütliches Ambiente, unheimlich freundlicher Service und eine spannende Karte. Das Essen war phänomenal gut. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut auswärts vegan gesessen. Ein Juwel!

Essen: gut (sehr gut wäre: Trüffelpasta mit gehobeltem Trüffel; Portionsgröße: etwas klein geraten). Service: Warum steht auf der Karte „Hauptgerichte bis 21 Uhr“ wenn man 20:40 Uhr nichts mehr bestellen kann? Bedienung immer sehr freundlich!

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service. Empfehlenswert! Nachtrag zum Gans-Essen am 16.11.24: super lecker und in allen Belangen ein Genuss gewesen! Danke für den tollen Service. Auch beim nächsten Besuch alles top. Der "unechte" Zwiebelrostbraten aus Lamm mit Fetakrusteln schmeckt super lecker.

Das ist definitiv, mit großem Abstand, das beste Restaurant in Kappeln. Endlich mal eine kreative Speisekarte abseits von Schnitzel, Steak, Pommes, Burger und Bratkartoffeln, und das zu moderaten Preisen. Alle Komponenten schmecken hier frisch zubereitet, und nicht wie in vielen anderen Lokalen nach TK-Ware und Convenience.

Angenehme Atmosphäre. Gemütliche, authentische und freundliche Atmosphäre. Abwechslungsreiche, nicht überladene Speisekarte, auch mit saisonalen Gerichten. Kein Convenience, alles selbst zubereitet. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich sehr schönes neues Restaurant. Das Essen ist klasse und alles andere als gewöhnlich. Hier haben sich Menschen die hinter dem Palette54 stehen schöne Gedanken gemacht. Der Service ist Klasse, nicht aufdringlich, aber immer nur einen Katzensprung von dir entfernt, wenn man etwas bestellen möchte. Weiter so und ein riesiges Danke!

Wir waren im April 2026 erstmals hier. Zuerst Kaffee und selbst gebackener Kuchen. Fabelhaft!! Am Abend Flensburger und Karten gespielt. Tolles Ambiente, tolle junge Truppe hinter der Theke bzw. im Service. Rundum Mega zufrieden. Solche tollen urigen Läden mögen wir sehr. Wer mit dieser tollen Atmosphäre ausgehen möchte, ist hier absolut richtig. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Urlaub hier auf jeden Fall wieder. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ von uns!♥️

Super netter Laden mit sehr gutem Essen. Es gibt vegetarische Optionen, ich persönlich würde mir mehr wünschen. Es gibt die Palette schon ewig in Kappeln und sie ist mit der Zeit gegangen. Essen und Kaffee ist wirklich gut. Haben auch manchmal Livemusik und man kann im Sommer super gut draussen sitzen.

Our annual Christmas party for the German Red Cross (DRK) Kappeln branch was held at the Palette restaurant this year. We were overwhelmed by the delicious food (any leftovers were packed into Tupperware to take home), the attentive service staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the lovely decorations! A truly lovely restaurant. We were looking for a nice place to end the evening and found this little gem. The service was so friendly. The waiter was always smiling. Absolutely fantastic, keep it up! The owner was also incredibly nice. If you're looking for something particularly welcoming, I highly recommend it.

Six of us spontaneously dined here, and every dish was perfect—whether it was venison, fish, the vegan pumpkin ravioli, or the desserts. We tried almost the entire menu, and everything was delicious! We also felt warmly welcomed, almost as if we were sitting at our mom's table. Refined dishes meet a warm, relaxed atmosphere—it couldn't be better. Thank you for the lovely evening!

When asked about a table for four during live music: "Would you like something to eat and drink?" We said, "Just drinks." "No, we don't have any free seats here." Although there was no reservation to be seen. "And if we did eat?" "But we only have small snacks." In Ireland, the restaurant owners would have brought out additional chairs and the seated people would have invited us to their table, but in our rigid Germany, that's often and not possible everywhere. UNFORTUNATELY!!!!!!!

Set with cloth napkins, cutlery, and glasses. Candles lit. IT CAN BE SO SIMPLE! Not intimidatingly stuffy, simply harmonious! The service was excellent. Eight of us, including our children, spontaneously got a table. They cooked pasta shells with tomato sauce, which wasn't on the menu. No penne, no spiralis! And then the lovely waitress, fantastic. Friendly, experienced, and professional! The food, people, was so delicious! I always say, when the chef is in charge, you've won 80%. The food was outstanding! Conclusion: Not one of those fast-food restaurants like at the harbor, relaxing, cozy, and welcoming! Thanks and best wishes from Bavaria.

Nothing against the large restaurants located directly on the water, but here—a little further back—it's simply nicer and more intimate. Snacks, fish platters, or just a Flensburg beer. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared. Inventive dips invite you to try and share. Very friendly service. We really enjoyed our little break here!

First of all... this review is a personal experience, entirely paid for by myself, and is intended solely to help you make a selection when looking for a restaurant. When we entered palette54 in Kappeln, we immediately felt like we were in Grandma's living room, but with modern touches. The cozy atmosphere and the lovingly crafted decor create a homey ambiance that invites you to linger. We sat on a gallery, where there was also a piano and apparently live music is occasionally offered. The cuisine is simply outstanding. Every dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented with great attention to detail. I can especially recommend the seasonal specialties, which are not only delicious but also a visual highlight. We had: - Matjes "Tartare" - Smoked Fish Platter - Rotating Fish (Redfish) - Rotating Fish (Gurnard) - Braised Ox Cheek - Chocolate Crème Brûlée The appetizers were magnificent. The fish in the main course was cooked to perfection. Since there were only two fish to choose from and the redfish was the last (a testament to its freshness), we were offered to share both fish between two people. Thumbs up for the service. The dumplings were very crispy and tasty. The combination of ingredients was absolutely perfect. I would have expected the ox cheeks to be more tender, and the potato gratin didn't suit the consumer's taste. The service is warm and attentive. You can tell that the team is passionate about what they do and wants to give their guests an unforgettable experience. In summary, I can say that we were 100% satisfied with everything that came from the #sea. According to the description, the smoked fish also comes from @fischraucherei_foeh_. We had a great meal at Palette. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The fish was cooked to perfection, truly delicious. The bread was fresh, and the soup had a slight spice and a great flavor. You can also get good wine here, not the cheap "drinks" you'd find on the harbor tourist strip. The espresso is hot and tastes good, too. We've had worse elsewhere. We found the seating and benches not particularly comfortable for sitting for long periods. But it fits the ambiance visually. The service was very attentive and extremely friendly. When we're back in Kappeln, we'll come back. Thank you so much for everything.

Unfortunately, the beef tartare no longer had any beef texture, and the seasoning didn't capture the original flavor. Overall, the taste was OK, but my expectations were somewhat different. Service was very attentive. The atmosphere was good, and the bar up front was great.

Very nice shop. The interior decoration is very tasteful. The service was very attentive. The map is small, but nice. The chef knows his craft. A particularly nice touch: the food was served by the kitchen staff. This way you get to know the chef and the food doesn't get cold. We will definitely come again when we are in Kappeln.

Als wir das palette54 in Kappeln betraten, fühlten wir uns sofort wie bei Oma im Wohnzimmer, aber mit modernen Akzenten. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre und die liebevolle Einrichtung schaffen ein heimeliges Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt. Wir saßen auf einer Empore, wo auch ein Klavier stand und anscheinend auch zeitweise Livemusik angeboten wird. Die Küche ist einfach herausragend. Jedes Gericht wird weitgehend mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Besonders empfehlen kann ich die saisonalen Spezialitäten, die nicht nur geschmacklich überzeugen, sondern auch optisch ein Highlight sind. Der Fisch im Hauptgang war on point gebraten. Da nur zwei Fische zur Auswahl waren und der Rotbarsch der letzte war (ein Zeugnis der Frische) wurde uns angeboten beide Fische auf zwei Personen zu verteilen. Daumen hoch für den Service. Die Bratklöße waren sehr knusprig und schmackhaft. Die Symbiose der Zutaten war absolut stimmig. Die Ochsenbäckchen würde ich zarter erwarten und das Kartoffelgratin traf nicht den Geschmack des Konsumenten. Der Service ist herzlich und aufmerksam. Man merkt, dass das Team mit Leidenschaft bei der Sache ist und den Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bereiten möchte. Ich kann zusammenfassend sagen, dass wir mit allem, was aus dem #meer kam, zu 100% zufrieden waren. Der Rauchfisch kommt laut Beschreibung auch von der @fischraucherei_foeh_ Das alleine ist schon ein Zeichen von Qualität. Hello, on October 24th we celebrated our tiny wedding in the Palette and were thrilled. We ordered a first-class 3-course menu for adults and one especially for the children (1-12 years). The cake at the end was perfect and some requirements regarding allergies etc. were no problem. Our dog was also welcome. The hosts are very warm and the service is impeccable and super friendly. Our ideas for setting the tables were implemented 120% and the timing was great. We felt very comfortable and will always fondly remember this wonderful day and the great time with the family and our witnesses in the Palette. Thank you so much!

We tried out the new menu in the Palette and were simply thrilled! The food is of the highest quality, creatively prepared and tastes simply excellent. Every bite was a taste revelation - the flavors are perfectly balanced and offer a great contrast. Particularly worth mentioning is the wine selection, which is ideally matched to the dishes on offer and perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. You feel welcome and well looked after from the first second. The service contributes significantly to making you feel completely comfortable here. Anyone looking for a great dining experience should definitely not miss this restaurant. We will definitely come back!

The dish lamb leg pralines, classified on the menu under main courses, with tabbouleh and tomato sugo consisted of 5 mini slices of lamb, about 4-5 tablespoons of instant couscous - salted at least - and about 4-5 tablespoons of tomato puree sprinkled with spices. The dish cost 28 euros. Two points for the food because the lamb was very tasty.

Ich kam hungrig und ging hungrig. Mein Essen, Lammkeulenpralinen, war in der Menge sehr übersichtlich mit wässrigem Instant- Couscous und schlecht gewürztem Tomatenpüree, die 5 dünnen Scheiben Lammkeule waren allerdings sehr lecker. Preis 28 Euro. Der Service war sehr nett und schnell.

Simply good and unfussy! Great service, with natural friendliness. Very tasty food at good prices. The lettuce hearts are simply great, as is the matjes tartare. And the beef tartare (approx. 220g) with mustard seeds was also a delight. The fact that we were able to sit outside in great weather rounded off the completely nice and great evening. I never usually write Google reviews, but this restaurant definitely changed that tonight. The highlight was not the absolutely friendly staff and the down to earth chef, but clearly and as it should be, the food. Someone once told me that you not only have to write down what you put on the card, but you also have to be able to implement it, and that has been achieved here with absolute sophistication. Thanks for that!

Das Ambiente lockte zum Besuch, der Service war katastrophal. Nach 20 Minuten des Wartens - das Restaurant war zugegebener Maßen sehr gut besucht- wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass zu wenig Service-Kräfte für den Abend eingeteilt worden seien. Essen könne nicht gebracht werden. Die bestellten Getränke wurden auch nicht gebracht. Allerdings wurde Gästen an einem näher dem Eingang gelegenen Tisch sowohl Essen als auch Getränke gebracht. Wir haben großes Verständnis, wenn die Personaldecke dünn ist. Das, was wir erlebt haben, ist nicht mehr akzeptabel.
