Asia Gourmet in Karlsruhe

Nicely decorated inside. Unfortunately, the food was completely oversalted (the sauce tasted like a little sweet and sour sauce mixed with a lot of soy sauce). The staff was nice, but unfortunately, they barely understood anything and were very inattentive. When we informed them that we wanted to pay, they told us that the waitress would take care of it right away (we were the only customers). When no one came after 10 minutes, we asked again what was happening with the payment. We were then told to please come to the counter to pay, as it was only possible there. The prices on the menu do not match those on the cash register. Speaking of the menu: Although it is available on the website, it is only a PDF that informs us that the menu is not available online. Overall, I cannot recommend a visit to the restaurant unless you appreciate a quiet atmosphere without being disturbed by staff (it is a bit inconvenient when ordering).

I've eaten here 3-4 times since my office is close. I can't say anything bad, I always got what I ordered, the portions are huge. This isn't a 5-digit Michlen restaurant, but I was always happy with how the dishes tasted. Don't forget - 1L soup for 12 euros ;) Interior is relatively large, renovated and always clean.

Very tasty food at a very good price-performance ratio

Yesterday I was a guest at Asia Gourmet in Durlach. The waitress offered us a seat according to our wishes. After a short time, the drinks we ordered were brought to us and the food orders were taken. The menu is Vietnamese authentic. After a short wait we were served our ordered menus. These all fully met our expectations. At the end we were offered a drink by the innkeeper. We were very satisfied with the hospitality. The restaurant is highly recommended, we will be visiting more often in the future

The food tastes very good and the portions are super large. Even if you pick it up, the food is still warm as soon as you get home.

Didn't knock me off my feet. I spontaneously had some time on hand and since this was the nearest restaurant, I went there. Communication difficult due to lack of knowledge of German. Food (fried rice with vegetables and supposedly egg - but only a few crumbs of it were found) Unfortunately, the rice was also super dry and could only be washed down with tons of soy sauce😅 What can be mentioned positively, however, is the ambience: the restaurant has a beautiful and modern interior. Wouldn't come here again.

ANIMAL CRUELTY!!!! A single fish locked up in a cage that was far too small with no algae and nothing. Such people should be locked up themselves. Service is just as abysmal as the keeping of the animals. 1 star because 0 doesn't exist :)

The classic black money restaurant... “No card payment possible”. But still offer the prices as if you were paying the tax properly. They don't know the language, but they can know the StU regulations by heart. Last but not least, just because Gourmet is in the name, it is still a snack bar, not a restaurant. Just like in “To the Red Dragon” no dragon cooks the menu. Finally, put reasonable prices on your mediocre food! Thanks

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön. Das Essen mittelmäßig. Zum Service ist es einfach schwierig, wenn kein Wort deutsch gesprochen wird, man teilweise andere Sachen bekommt als man telefonisch bestellt. Auch KEINE Kartenzahlung möglich. Wird aber am Telefon nicht erwähnt und wenn man dann hinkommt hängt ein Schild am Tresen und man darf erstmal Geld holen gehen bis das Essen schließlich kalt ist.

Ich hatte essen zum mitnehmen. Die Portion war reichlich und es hat gut geschmeckt. Aber auch kein Unterschied zu anderen chinesischen Restaurants.

Das Essen ist recht gut. Der Service etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Was man zu Trinken oder zu Essen bekommt, ist nicht unbedingt das, was man bestellt hat. 😉 Liegt wohl an den Sprachkenntnissen.

Preis-Leistung soweit befriedigt. Es gibt in der Nähe ein besseres Asia-Gasthaus!

Abholung: Ente hong-kong sehr gute Ente nicht zu fettig nicht zu Mager. Außerdem ist die Gebackene Banane sehr zu empfehlen.

Excellent Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price! I'm surprised reading some of the reviews here, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this place, the food was as good as anything I've eaten in Vietnam and we hardly paid more than if we had gone to a fastfood place. The lady serving us could not speak English or German very well but she was kind and we managed to get our messages across quite well in the end. We're definitely coming back here.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Ich habe das Essen zum Abholen genommen ,gezahlt habe ich die Preise vom Restaurant.Als ich die Mitarbeiterin angesprochen habe meinte sie die karte wäre falsch die Preise wären die gleichen zum Abholen oder im Restaurant. Ich habe 8,90 Euro für gebratene Nudeln mit Hühnerfleisch gezahlt und 5,90 Euro für die Sommerrollen.Leider hat die Mitarbeiterin mir die Sachen auf die Rückseite einer gedruckter Rechnung eines anderen Kunden geschrieben in der eines meiner Gerichte vor einer Stunde 1 Euro günstigster war :)also beim lügen ertappt.ist das vielleicht eine zusätzliche Einnahmequelle der Kassiererin? Kurz 1,40 Euro zusätzlich bezahlt. Sowas nennt man BETRUG Ich war 20 Jahre Kunde beim vorrigen Besitzer da ist noch nie so etwas passiert.

Вкусные большие порции! Обслуживание не быстрое. Английским не владеют. Долго выясняли, почему один из нас заказал целых три блюда - это сильно удивило сотрудника и он не мог никак поверить.

Essen gut, Service unterirdisch. Man konzentriert sich auf Abholung, Gäste vor Ort wirken unerwünscht. Sehr lange Wartezeit zum Bestellen und bezahlen. Ein Gast hatte Essen übrig, wollte es mitnehmen und musste es selbst einpacken.

War bisher immer sehr Gerichte sind lecker und so Standard Zeug wie gebratene Nudeln immer sehr groß. Die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Die Leute sind freundlich aber am besten Vorort bestellen, am Telefon etwas schwierig wegen mangelnder Sprachkenntnisse.

Top! Sehr leckere Gerichte in guten Portionen. Nicht so fettig wie bei vielen asiatischen Imbissen und wirklich lecker. Inhaber sympatisch und nettes Ambiente. Als Takeaway auch empfehlenswert.

Einfach lecker/freundliches Personal

Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet, die neue Karte bietet jetzt auch Sushi. Ich entscheide mich lieber für "Gebratenes Rind-, Hühner- Schweinefleisch, Garnelen, Tintenfisch, Muscheln nach vietnamesischer Art mit Kokosmilchsoße und frisches Gemüse (leicht scharf)". Es schmeckt köstlich, und da fällt es auch weniger ins Gewicht, dass ich mir das Besteck selbst suchen muss. Fazit: Frisch und lecker

Wir haben telefonisch Reis mit Gemüse bestellt. Zuhause angekommen waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Sehr wenig Gemüse, kein Vergleich zu den Bildern. Für die süßsauer Soße wurde uns 3€ berechnet, obwohl die bei jedem asiatischen Restaurant eigentlich standardgemäß mitgeliefert wird, bzw. maximal 50cent kostet. Die vegetarische Portion (also Reis, gebraten, mit sehr wenig Gemüse) hat ganze 7,90€ gekostet. Die Frühlingsrollen waren gut. Vielleicht haben wir einfach das falsche Menü bestellt, aber für das Essen definitiv viel zu teuer!
