We were very satisfied! The food was very fresh overall and constantly replenished. We especially liked the wide selection – there really was something for everyone. Everything tasted great, although the sushi was a little dry, but we were there around 8 pm, so that's perfectly understandable. The staff were friendly and attentive – I honestly don't understand why some reviews are so negative. You have to consider how much work goes into an all-you-can-eat buffet like this: keeping food fresh and warm while offering a variety is no easy task. The team here really does a fantastic job! Overall: a very tasty, diverse buffet, friendly service, and good value for money. We'll definitely be back! 🍣🥢🍜

The food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The service was great; I really have nothing to complain about except that I was a little sad the cute goldfish was alone in the aquarium next to us (a friend for him would be great 🤭). Despite that, I would definitely come back again and again!!! A heartfelt recommendation!

Great location, very good food and service, but the lady in the kitchen who I think was guarding the plates makes me give only 4 stars. She was very arrogant, she didn't want to help us at all even though it was our first time in that restaurant and besides the fact that she spoke very arrogantly and rudely, she also had her mouth full of food. She should be taken to the dishwasher if she doesn't feel like helping the customers. Otherwise, everything was ok.

I've never experienced anything like this in my life, not even this meat. I've never eaten meat so overcooked. There's no blue ice cream, the sushi is too salty, and the salad tastes a bit expired. It's a shame, really, because the staff are very nice and friendly.

We dined here as a family on a public holiday, having made a reservation beforehand, for a special occasion. Even when making the reservation, we were informed that we could only use the table for two hours. Upon arrival, the restaurant was already overcrowded. There was no system for managing entry, just one overwhelmed employee frantically trying to control the situation with a manual reservation book. The assigned table was too small. A chair was placed next to another table. The buffet was utter chaos. There were a few tongs for picking up food, which were passed around among numerous people. The chef, who had to prepare a variety of dishes, had an endless amount to cook, which only led to endless waiting times of up to 45 minutes. I was shocked to see an employee refilling the raw fish buffet with bare hands, without gloves. For us, this meal was simply stressful and an unpleasant experience; we will not be returning to this restaurant.

it could have been a good experience. The staff were nice the food was acceptable we were chatting and having a good lunch until I saw a cockroach climbing the wall near the lid less food. After that everything changed. And it was the second one. The first one was near wc area so i thought ...okay this can happen. But the one near food made me wanna puke. I didnt say anything because one of our friends invited us to this place and i didnt want him to feel bad. The only section that had lids on were sushi section. I dont know maybe its normal for some people but for me seeing a cockroach in a resturant is a "run and save yourself" sign.

A Chinese restaurant as you'd imagine it. A wooden look paired with plastic, with the occasional mislabeling, but that's what adds to its charm. It's not exactly cozy, but with all-you-can-eat, you'd expect nothing less. All in all, you can still have a good time and enjoy your meal.

We've always enjoyed eating here. However, our last visit had a few negative experiences. 1. The staff were overwhelmed by the situation of a full restaurant (we, as a group of seven, were moved several times so we could sit together). 2. The loud arguments among the staff right in front of us weren't very pleasant. 3. And worst of all, we had a disgusting "guest" (a cockroach) on the wall next to us, which the waiter, after we pointed out to him, simply took away with the rag he uses to clean the tables. Unfortunately, all the grilled meat and fish was very dry and burnt. We received several incorrect plate numbers, and the fresh ingredients we placed on plates unfortunately weren't returned to our table. Many mistakes were made by the service staff. Nevertheless, the finished open buffet was very tasty.

And when my friend and I took a smoke break, the waiter took my unfinished dish. When I came back, I saw it, called him, and told him I wanted to eat there. He said you didn't have to stand on the street for so long. We were there for 10 minutes. He said you should stay longer because... Well, I didn't know you couldn't take it away. I find this situation outrageous because the waiter has to talk to us like that.

A very good Asian restaurant with a wide variety of food, offering something for everyone. It's beautifully decorated and the food is beautifully presented. There's everything you could wish for, from salads and sushi to a counter with various fried foods and desserts like cream puffs, fruit, and ice cream. However, since it's usually quite busy, reservations are recommended.

Horrible behaviour from Waiters. They don’t assists new guests there. They keep on walking here and there randomly but don’t come to a guest to ask if they can assist them with anything. They don’t explain clearly if asked something and make weird faces! This is the only reason I will never go there again.

We had the dinner buffet today, Saturday, and we have to give a huge compliment to your staff for still being able to keep track of so many guests. Your food and your selection are simply amazing and I recommend that anyone who likes Chinese food go here. You won't regret it, but it would be advisable to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday evenings, otherwise there won't be any space. We give it the highest marks for the best Chinese restaurant in Munich.

The food is good, but very greasy and salty. The lunch buffet is well worth it, but the dinner buffet for 30 euros isn't. I'd rather go to a good restaurant and eat a portion.

In my opinion, this is the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in the Munich area. The food is always freshly prepared, the taste is always satisfying, the selection at the sushi counter is amazing, and the service staff is always friendly and attentive. On weekends, you might have to expect a bit of a wait, but that's not a problem for me, as you can always get a seat.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian selection is so limited that it's not worth it. I don't understand why they put fish or meat in every dish. They could easily be served separately, and then everyone could eat it all. It's a shame. The dishes generally didn't taste bad, but almost everything was quite low in salt. The sushi (the cucumber maki—sadly, everything else was fish) was very, very tasty!

Although we made a reservation by phone, we were told the restaurant was full. We had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for our table, but the team prepared a nice table for us by the aquarium, which the children also enjoyed.

Recently a guest at Asia Garden, twice in a row now. Super delicious, especially when eating buffet style. We paid around €15 per person. Great! There's also an a la carte menu, of course, but most of the food probably comes from the buffet. And you can't blame them... The lunch and dinner menus were slightly different. The difference was that in the evening, there was also raw food to fry. You can gather different meats and vegetables together, take numbered clothespins from the basket on the table for the edge of the plate, and then the whole thing goes to the kitchen. The chefs fry it, and the waiters bring it to the table. Nice service. As far as I could see, there was classic beef, chicken, and lamb, even kangaroo meat. It's quite tasty and not too different from beef, in my opinion. There were also plenty of fryable items in the fish section. Otherwise, I didn't notice any major changes. You'll have to keep an eye on the frying. Some pieces of meat were quite tough and fried on shoe soles. The beef was the toughest in my case. Lamb was okay, kangaroo was okay. Chicken was okay too. It's better. I'll try to ask next time if they can do it medium or even rare. Maybe... :) Towards the end of the hot food service, you notice that they're naturally phasing out their offerings. They're already looking into this. It's best to be well-stocked during the first two-thirds of the time. As mentioned, there are also events there. You don't necessarily need to make a reservation for spontaneous visits. Of course, it also depends a bit on whether it's a holiday or vacation time. We were there under normal conditions and spontaneously. It was okay. But for events, of course - that has to be scheduled... Otherwise, there's a good selection of sushi, plus fresh wasabi. All kinds of fried dishes, including various meats, fish, chicken varieties, and seafood. Sauces. A wide variety of dishes that are eaten with rice. A large tub of rice sits just across the street. There was fried rice and noodles, but also salads, of course. At the very back were the desserts, fruit, pudding, cakes, and donuts. A large selection of everything, and they're always refilled. Very nice. The restrooms are in the basement. They're clean, perfectly fine for partying. The staff is friendly. Since there are a lot of children there, or parties are being held, it can get quite loud at times. But that shouldn't detract from the rest of the experience. There are a few parking spaces in front of the door and around the corner. So you might have to walk a bit while looking around for a parking space. The restaurant is right at the main intersection. We couldn't find anything negative and will definitely come back occasionally! :) You can still get really good Asian food here – and at a reasonable price, too! Thank you very much, Asia Garden! Beautiful Asian restaurant. We first went to the German Museum and then ate here and I was absolutely satisfied. I can only recommend this restaurant. The meat for frying is super fresh and of very good quality. Ambiance is very chic and the toilets are also very well kept and very modern.

Unbelievable what I experienced here on March 30, 2025. Like others, I made a reservation at 6 p.m., and we stood there waiting. The place was packed, and we were left standing there for 30 minutes... To then find out that there were no tables available. Wow, what am I reserving for? We drive all this way to get nothing. That's how you treat guests. Bravo!!! Completely overwhelmed!! Get this under control!

Despite a reservation, we waited about an hour due to overbooking, very bad management. Some of the tables are spatially separated by a partition, which is pleasant. But incredibly bad air, no air conditioning. Staff friendly but overwhelmed. Food was as you would expect from a buffet, sushi was too acidic, but fresh salmon by the piece was good, you don't see it often. Generally great offer, but unfortunately it was really messed up by how overcrowded it was due to mismanagement, people were chased away from tables or moved several times, unpleasant.

Standard thing. Were there 2 days in a row. Very full, partly clownish crowd, very loud. The food was acceptable and the buffet was consistently well stocked. Except for the duck, as always in these stores, refills are rather economical.

The service and ambience is great but the food is old and bad, and the drinks are all from Lidl. There's plenty of sweets, and you can also save money at discounters. But drinks and food are a real mess

I would come here again and again just for the Peking soup. Had a wonderful evening despite the full house, the waiter was very accommodating.

Very tasty Chinese/Asian with Mongolian all-you-can-eat. Great selection of dishes and ingredients (buffet, Mongolian), friendly and quick service. A lot of guests in the very large restaurant, even during the week. You feel comfortable here and enjoy the somewhat sober atmosphere and the food. Price ok.

The Asia Garden in Ottobrunn is a great restaurant with friendly staff 😊, a delicious buffet 🍣🥢 and a very nice interior 🏮. The food is fresh, varied and tastes great! The toilets were also very clean 🚻, which I found very positive. A small disadvantage: In the evening, on Sundays and on public holidays, the buffet costs €10 more per person 💰, which I find a bit high. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because overall I am very satisfied! 🎉

The only thing I can complain about is that the refills at the buffet didn't work out so well. But I have to be fair and say that it was very crowded. According to statements from several guests who are there often, there has never been as much going on as today. The food is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly! I was just sitting in this restaurant and was expecting a pleasant stay with good food and good service. Unfortunately, just a few minutes after entering the door, I had to be convinced of the absolute opposite... The sushi counter is almost empty and is not refilled (1 p.m.). Far too full, we called and asked if we needed to make a reservation, but they said no. However, it was not said that the food would no longer be refilled and that there would only be dry leftover meat. The only fresh full container was with baked chicken. Unfortunately, I understand too well why that was still there. The chicken was inedible. Totally rotten taste and horrible consistency. Not to mention that the quality of the food is a disaster, apart from the canned fruit, which was by far the best part of the whole meal😅. The waitresses are extremely unfriendly and disrespectful and snatch the plate you finished eating a few seconds ago from under your nose without saying a word. And to then charge 5€/plate if you don't eat is a disgrace. Apparently more food was left out, but instead of forcing the consumer to stop eating, I would consider why it wasn't being eaten. The food here is terrible. The amusing thing about the stay were the spelling mistakes printed on the plates and cups 😆 where instead of Asia it says Aisen 🤣 Please don't let the positive reviews blind you. Never again Asia Garden Ottobrunn.

Yesterday the four of us went to the Asia Garden on the recommendation of a friend. We were all thrilled. Super delicious food with a lot of choice. Service was also great. We had the buffet, the prices were completely okay, especially no time slot. Be sure to reserve in advance, otherwise there will be a long wait for a table. The only negative points were the slippery floor, you had to be very careful, and out of four women's toilets only one was functional, two of the four were completely locked and one could not be locked because the lock was broken. Wanted to place an order over the phone for the family dinner. After more than 25 unsuccessful calls, we walked to the restaurant (10 minutes away) to place the order in person. When you got there you immediately found yourself at the end of a long queue. No staff visible, everything hectic, loud and completely overcrowded. We then immediately changed our plans and went back to order from another restaurant. I don't even know such behavior - despite the holiday. They could have at least answered the phone once to say that an order for pickup was not possible, etc. Nothing! We will no longer go there as a family, let alone order anything else. Very very disappointing and shameful!
