The Asia Garden in Ottobrunn is a great restaurant with friendly staff 😊, a delicious buffet 🍣🥢 and a very nice interior 🏮. The food is fresh, varied and tastes great! The toilets were also very clean 🚻, which I found very positive. A small disadvantage: In the evening, on Sundays and on public holidays, the buffet costs €10 more per person 💰, which I find a bit high. Nevertheless, I give it 5 stars because overall I am very satisfied! 🎉

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Munich... it's good to come here with friends or as a couple. 😁 fresh food and a very large selection. I recommend....

The only thing I can complain about is that the refills at the buffet didn't work out so well. But I have to be fair and say that it was very crowded. According to statements from several guests who are there often, there has never been as much going on as today. The food is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly! I will definitely eat there again! Top!

I was just sitting in this restaurant and was expecting a pleasant stay with good food and good service. Unfortunately, just a few minutes after entering the door, I had to be convinced of the absolute opposite... The sushi counter is almost empty and is not refilled (1 p.m.). Far too full, we called and asked if we needed to make a reservation, but they said no. However, it was not said that the food would no longer be refilled and that there would only be dry leftover meat. The only fresh full container was with baked chicken. Unfortunately, I understand too well why that was still there. The chicken was inedible. Totally rotten taste and horrible consistency. Not to mention that the quality of the food is a disaster, apart from the canned fruit, which was by far the best part of the whole meal😅. The waitresses are extremely unfriendly and disrespectful and snatch the plate you finished eating a few seconds ago from under your nose without saying a word. And to then charge 5€/plate if you don't eat is a disgrace. Apparently more food was left out, but instead of forcing the consumer to stop eating, I would consider why it wasn't being eaten. The food here is terrible. The amusing thing about the stay were the spelling mistakes printed on the plates and cups 😆 where instead of Asia it says Aisen 🤣 Please don't let the positive reviews blind you. Never again Asia Garden Ottobrunn.

Ambiance was good as was the food. But the employees weren't exactly friendly; it seemed like they didn't feel like working. After a while we wanted to order a second drink but no one came!! You should urgently work on the service!

Rich buffet, everything available, including freshly fried dishes. Public transport stop nearby (bus number 210). Very friendly and helpful service. Only the buffet heating should be set a little higher, the good food gets cold very quickly.

Yesterday the four of us went to the Asia Garden on the recommendation of a friend. We were all thrilled. Super delicious food with a lot of choice. Service was also great. We had the buffet, the prices were completely okay, especially no time slot. Be sure to reserve in advance, otherwise there will be a long wait for a table. The only negative points were the slippery floor, you had to be very careful, and out of four women's toilets only one was functional, two of the four were completely locked and one could not be locked because the lock was broken. We'll definitely be back. Great restaurant, great service, great prices. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Unfortunately too few staff for so many guests, both in service and in the kitchen! Buffet, especially the sushi buffet, was pretty empty! Taste is good, but selection could be larger!

Not bad but they don't refill the food as often and you have to wait longer to eat again. But the ambience isn't bad.

Wanted to place an order over the phone for the family dinner. After more than 25 unsuccessful calls, we walked to the restaurant (10 minutes away) to place the order in person. When you got there you immediately found yourself at the end of a long queue. No staff visible, everything hectic, loud and completely overcrowded. We then immediately changed our plans and went back to order from another restaurant. I don't even know such behavior - despite the holiday. They could have at least answered the phone once to say that an order for pickup was not possible, etc. Nothing! We will no longer go there as a family, let alone order anything else. Very very disappointing and shameful!

Generally a large, varied selection, the sushi was very tasty but there were a few black hairs in the noodles. We waited 30 minutes for our Mongolian cooking. When we got the S the meat was completely burnt and half of the things were missing

A restaurant where there is no smile, no friendliness and therefore no respect for the guests.😠 Especially female staff. Always a comment... that can, that can't... They watch the guests from above🤨 We don't feel welcome. The boss needs to deal with this problem!

Gegen 19:00 war es bereits sehr voll und sehr laut, darauf sollte man vorbereitet sein. Das Personal rotiert ganz schön, hat aber alles im Griff. Schön wäre gewesen, wenn man uns noch kurz erklärt hätte, wie das Buffet "funktioniert" (wir mussten die Kellnerin extra noch mal zurück an den Tisch holen). Man kann sich Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse usw. auf den Teller legen, eine Klammer mit der Tischnummer am Teller befestigen und dann alles bei den Köchen abstellen. Das fertige Gericht wird dann an den Tisch gebracht. Oder man bedient sich direkt am Buffet, das abwechslungsreich, aber qualitativ/geschmacklich nur Durchschnitt ist. Aber auch nicht schlecht, das will ich damit nicht sagen. Man kann sich hier satt essen und findet gewiss auch schnell ein paar Favoriten. Mein zusammengestellter Fischteller war etwas fade, als er mir an den Tisch gebracht wurde, auch wenn ich mit diversen Saucen und Koriander kombiniert hatte. Der Fisch (mehrere Sorten) hatte recht wenig Eigengeschmack. Ich habe dann noch mit Sojasauce nachgeholfen. Dann ging es. Die Pilze waren allerdings verbrannt. Ich habe dann noch einen Teller mit Fleisch zusammengestellt, der ist insgesamt besser gelungen. Wer sich an lautem Ambiente nicht stört und auch keine gehobene Asia-Küche zwingend voraussetzt, kann hier ruhig mal vorbeischauen.

All the food was great, the people were very nice and a great atmosphere. The best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in my life, the waiters are majeaux with hearts of gold. Honorable mention to the little fish in the fish tank, they were the cutest thing I have ever seen.

There's little to complain about 😉 there's something for everyone. You don't usually leave there hungry.

We liked Asia Garden. The selection was huge, from freshly prepared wok dishes to crispy spring rolls to delicious meat and vegetable variations. Everything tasted well and there was something for everyone. The service was attentive and friendly, even if it was a little busier at times. One small point of criticism: Some dishes could have been a little hotter. Overall it was good, drinks not included in the all you can eat service which I think is a shame.

Even the star is too much!!! Had reservations for the evening with a specific table. When we arrived they said the table wasn't available because of a large group. Well, okay for now. We were then given a replacement table at the other end than we had booked. When we said we wanted to eat a'la carte, the oven was off!!! The waiter's face dropped and he said they needed all the chefs for the buffet and that the menu would take a really long time. Wouldn't be profitable. A'la Carte doesn't seem to be desired...then the only option is buffet!!! The same thing happened to us in the summer when we wanted to go there for lunch. So we were complimented out for the second time!!! This is how you alienate your customers. That was definitely the last time!!! We would have had something to celebrate.

I reserved a table online from 5:30 p.m., received a reservation confirmation, upon arrival at the restaurant we were seated at a table, everything was fine, but then we were told to vacate the table, we were not offered another table , we had to leave the restaurant, our children didn't even eat dessert. They spoiled our mood, that's a very bad attitude, we will never go to this place again 🤬

Delicious Mongolian buffet - all you can eat. The finest ingredients, deliciously presented fresh on ice. Huge selection of top fresh products - fish, seafood, vegetables and meat. Great selection of exotic meat (e.g. kangeruh) and fish (e.g. parrot fish). Very friendly and diligent service. Fair price. Gladly again.

The service people seem untrained and start cleaning the table area as soon as we paid the money. Sushi was pretty stale and the hot food was very monotonous. I’d skip it.

I would recommend this place for a perfect buffet. There are variety of food items from salad, sushi to fried chicken, duck etc. The food is very tasty.

Excellent Chinese buffet with wide assortment of both sushi and traditional Chinese food. Don't forget the ice cream bar. It is fairly expensive here but it is the best Chinese buffet in the Munich area.

It was a lovely evening. There were 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 children. Food was very good 👍 Service was also great. And it's no problem eating there even if you are disabled. There is of course also a very spacious toilet suitable for disabled people 👍👍

We ordered crispy and spicy duck. The rice was soggy, the duck and vegetables were poorly seasoned and bland and there was no taste of anything spicy. Next time we'll get our food somewhere else.

Unfortunately we went there as a group and went out again with stomach cramps and vomiting because the food was a catastrophe, neither good warm fresh food nor dessert and what was left there as a selection brought us to the hospital because we got stomach poisoning so please be careful!!!

Delicious lunch buffet during the week to meet colleagues. Good selection, missing dishes are quickly refilled. Everyone will find their favorites here, from sushi to roasted duck, beef or shrimp to dessert. The table service is also attentive and quick.

This is hands down the best food I've had in the last 2 or 3 years. 100% worth a visit and every penny or ¢ in this case. We were there today (Sunday evening) and every table in this incredibly large restaurant was occupied. The noise level was accordingly. Sometimes you had to queue forever for the food; the food on the Mongolian grill took almost 30 minutes and was then burnt. Typical buffet food, but 1. not particularly tasty and 2. combined with the atmosphere, terrible for me. The waiters were all very friendly but also extremely overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with refilling the buffet. The sushi and dessert buffets were both 90% empty.

The food or the all you can eat buffet is not recommended. Food is not cooled properly. Especially fresh fish meat and sushi. I also think it's generally very bad. Hygiene is a problem. A friend of mine had a dead fly in her meal from the menu. Had stomach pain afterwards. Never again and the price is absolutely too high for such poor quality goods. The staff is not friendly and it is also true that you are forced to give tips. It doesn't work at all. Not recommendable.

Average but typical Chinese style buffet restaurant. Some of the food is really tasty, but some of it is not to my taste. The rice was totally overcooked, the sushi was mostly out and what there was simply wasn't real sushi. Service was friendly but a bit inattentive when it came to replenishing drinks.

I'm excited. Were for the first time 7.5.24 at the Asia Garden. Everything was deliciously prepared and of the finest quality. The service was great and unobtrusive, the atmosphere is very nice and everything is super clean. It was a very nice and delicious evening...***** Addendum... today July 10th, 2024 for the second time with family and children. Everyone is incredibly nice and accommodating and the food was again extremely tasty. Today for my birthday a waiter came with Happy Birthday music, a donat and a sparkler, that was really great❤️👍🥰

Well, what can you say, we came here from North Rhine-Westphalia for a trip to Munich. And it was the worst Asian buffet I've ever had. Everything is beautifully decorated! But the food is partly lukewarm, tastes semi, you can taste the frozen food and it's just not great. The service hardly understands you and overall it was more of a can-do experience. I don't see 4.3 stars anywhere here rather than a 3.

Also good options of Chinese delicacy starting with soup, meat on sticks, shrimps and noodles Fresh salads and fruits; also canned fruits in a bowl with small section of dessert Would definitely recommend this place for trying loads of items The only drawback I found is cakes from dessert section which were packaged and not fresh; but the chocolate brownie was good to go It is kid friendly and could take stroller and bassinet. Outdoor and indoor seatings available 😁 Also the bathrooms are huge and one can breastfeed there

I'll keep it short: I can only recommend everyone to come here. There is a large buffet, especially the fresh things that you have to have prepared are also 'exotic'. At least I haven't seen it on anyone else (but I know they're available elsewhere too). From a variety of shrimp and prawns to kangaroo and frog legs. And there is also something for everyone when it comes to dessert. The only really bad thing I experienced was the kiwis for dessert. They were unripe, hard and super sour. But that was also an experience and I wasn't the person who ate it (accompanied by me, but I also tried one). Unfortunately it's a bit far from my home, but I would definitely come more often if I could

I am totally disappointed with this restaurant. The waiter literally insisted on a tip and simply came to us to force us to pay. Plus he was rude all the time. To make matters worse, we had to pick up our plates from the grill ourselves because the employee said he didn't have the time or motivation at the moment. An absolute failure! Definitely not recommended!!!

Service, ambience, offer... Wherever you look, the scale at Asia Garden is slightly positive compared to similar stores. In fact, I find many exciting things that are presented in an appetizing way and prepared on request. There are no outliers in terms of taste when it comes to salads and ready meals either. Neither down nor up. So far, so safe. Nevertheless, the weaknesses of the concept can also be found here. The buffet is busy and popular items are sometimes sold out. The less popular ones cook happily in warming containers that are too hot. And especially when it comes to the desserts, you can clearly see that hardly anything is homemade. Convenience is king. That doesn't have to be bad, but it's not really good either.

Everything is always fresh and very tasty

Absolutely outstanding buffet. Lots of choice of fish for the Mongolian grill. Even unusual types of meat like kangaroo to choose from. Absolutely interesting, I've never eaten frog legs before. Even towards the end of opening hours, there was still enough available. Price for the evening buffet of 24.95 is therefore completely okay! Only the service could be a bit quicker with the drinks.

The staff was attentive and friendly, the choice of food was very diverse. We were there at lunchtime and paid just under €16 per person (€7.50/child). The price-performance ratio was fair. For really good sushi and Asian food you just have to go to other restaurants (or don't eat from the buffet).

Broad selection of meat of all sorts. The buffet is very nice but lacks some vegetarian options in my opinion, could use some tofu for the buffet as well as maybe some avocado sushi. Quality of the food overall very good and tasty. Service absolute first class, the waiters are quicker then light. Depending on how many people are in the restaurant it may take a while for the freshly cooked to arrive but there is so many options on the buffet that you can just can go devour some delicious food while waiting for the freshly cooked dish to arrive. Will go more often to this place for sure

Very good food, but if you want to study the drinks on offer, the waitress' cell phone is held under your nose (i.e. there is obviously no menu there). So if you want to order wine or something special, it ruins your stay.

Food was great again. But at the end there wasn't even a settlement. I asked for one but didn't get one. Unfortunately, the noise level is very high when the restaurant is full.

Were there for the first time. Parking is a bit problematic. Wheelchair access is possible. Toilet for wheelchairs is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is really very good. Employees are very friendly. If I'm honest, I go there to eat once a month. If you want to go on a Friday or weekend, please call and reserve, the tables go quickly in the evening.

The seafood looks delicious but tastes horrible! Shrimp and calamari were not cleaned at all, simply cooked right after being fished. Not worth the dinner price!!
