Asia Choice in Köln

From the outside, the restaurant looked closed, but it was open after all, so we tried it out. The portion was very small. The fried noodles with chicken hardly had any vegetables. The restroom in the restaurant seemed dirty. It really wasn't a highlight.

Update: Unfortunately closed or relocated since October 2023. There's a different snack bar there now. They've been in Kaufland Boltensternstr. since the end of 2022. All previous reviews were from a different location. Therefore, I'm only sharing our experience with this new location. Everything was very clean and friendly. As far as fast food to go goes, the ingredients are fresh. Whether it's fried noodles with or without a side dish or sushi dishes, everything is flawless. Even European combinations like Chrispy Chicken Sushi... are delicious and can be recommended as a snack. If something isn't good, they'll certainly openly accept justified criticism. We've been there several times. There's even a very small seating area with a few chairs/tables. It was always very clean. Colleagues go there again and again. So feel free to give it a try.

I ordered a Thai curry. But I still don't know what that has to do with Thai and curry, and it tastes like canned food.

Ordered for the first time and was sadly disappointed. First, they call to say they're out of rice (it would take too long to make more), and then, an hour later, they replace it with 1.5 portions of fried noodles for three servings of rice. The vegetables had only been cooked for a minute and were still raw. Except for the delivery itself, it was only worth one star, but that was okay... So, just two stars.

Die gebratenen Nudeln mit Hühnerfleisch waren echt lecker, aber die Frühlingsrollen gingen garnicht, in 10 Frühlingsrollen habe ich eine Sojasprosse gefunden... der Rest war leider leer. Kurz zusammengefasst: Alles ausser die Nudeln war nicht gut.

Das Essen ist ok, soweit ich es mit meinem Gewissen vereinbaren konnte. Warum mit meinem Gewissen? Weil für mich auch das Gesamtpaket stimmen muss, gebe ich hier nur zwei Sterne. Der Grund dafür sind die langen Fingernägel des Küchenpersonals, mit reichlich dunklen Ablagerungen drunter. Die Vorstellungen, dass damit meine Sushi belegt und eingerollt wird, löste bei mir Appetitlosigkeit aus. Im Nachhinein hätte ich es verweigern sollen.

Liefern einfach irgendwas, gehen dann nicht mehr ans Telefon... Unnötiger Stress...

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing more exciting dishes, I really liked the fried noodles with beef. I'll try the gyoza and the asian specials. Very delicious....

Nice enough but do not expect anything too fancy. The curry is quite good but the sushi not that much.

Das gelbe Curry (Vegetarisch) war sehr lecker! Das Gemüse war sehr frisch und auf den Punkt gekocht. Die Champignons und das Tofu hat mir besonders gut geschmeckt. Die schärfe war ideal, danke!

Habe gestern den neuen Asia Restaurant in der Nähe meiner Wohnung probiert. Laden sauber, warme Gericht schnell und lecker, Sushi auch frisch.

ich habe hier das rote thai curry und das gelbe thai curry huhn bestellt und es war fantastisch. Ich hoffe das ich bald auch vorort speisen kann wenn lockdown vorbei ist, denn die leute sind dort super freundlich und bei denen koennte ich mir einen schoenen abend vorstellen . gerne wieder !

Hab das Restaurant zufällig beim vorbei gehen entdeckt und ich muss sagen das Essen ist super lecker. Die haben nicht nur Nudel und Reisgerichte sondern bieten auch Sushi an. Einfach nur lecker !
