One star deducted because they don't accept debit cards, which is very annoying. Perhaps you could change that. Otherwise, everything was great. The food was delicious, and the staff were always super friendly.

The best pita gyros in the world can be found at Olymp and Artemis. After many years in the US, we finally ate there again, and the owners remembered me. Simply delicious, and the food is amazing.

The best pita and gyros in Göttingen. My family and I treat ourselves to this delicious treat at least once a month. We could eat it more often, of course, but it would quickly add to my waistline. The tzatziki is addictive. We always get an extra portion. I've been eating here for about 35 years. Before that, it was Artemis, but the quality is just as great. I won't eat pita and gyros in any other city or in Göttingen anymore, because I'm always disappointed. Forever Olymp. Efcharisto. You are the best!!!!!

Yes, a snack bar! But for gyro lovers, it's conveniently located, prices are reasonable, and "it tastes good!"

He was annoyed. Orders didn't match the menu. Paid for extra tzatziki, but it wasn't included. 4 raw cucumber slices instead of cucumber salad. Saganaki not recommended. You can make it yourself at home. Coleslaw is okay... but it also comes from a wholesaler. Plain, coleslaw with vinegar. Salad only plain. Because we all just eat the salad like rabbits... ha, ha.... If you want to fill yourself up quickly, fine. But not for more. The owners are just making a quick buck, but maybe that's how we want it too? Greek cuisine is so different. Then he shouldn't advertise like that; that promise isn't kept.

By far the best gyros in Göttingen. The fries are crispy, the meat tastes delicious (no gristle or fat) and the tzatziki tastes good with garlic. Price/performance ratio is unbeatable! Keep it up! I'm already a regular customer and haven't noticed any differences in quality. Absolutely recommended.

Gyros good. Lovelessly ready-made coleslaw for me. You could also try a green salad. Apparently too “much” work.

There is a lot of advertising here touting lunch for 8 euros. Lured by this false promise, I ordered gyros with fries and tzatziki and a beer. When I paid I was charged Euro 15. When I questioned this, I was rudely answered that I had received a regular gyro and not lunch. When I noticed that they could have told me this when ordering, I was answered very unfriendly: "We don't have to do anything". Great customer service. So, I don't have to come back anymore to be cheated there. I've also already told about 20 people who won't be coming anymore either. Additionally, the food was terrible. No flavor with a very little Greek Maggi sauce. There are much better gyro options. Gyros Olymp is a scam and bad!

Great shop and great gyros. The boss is a stable and friendly guy, but you shouldn't tease him unnecessarily with 1000 extra requests (gyros with extra that..., gyros without with extra that, etc. - I think you understand what I mean!). If you behave yourself you can dine like an Olympic...

Very good ambience and good food that really fills you up. It tastes good and I can only recommend everyone to go there once and see for themselves!!

Average self-service takeaway. The food was okay, but the gyros were very greasy. The toilets could have been cleaner. There was a bucket hanging from the ceiling that caught liquids that couldn't be determined. Looked like fat, but I could be wrong. If you want to fill up quickly and cheaply, this might be the right place for you.

The main thing is tasty and friendly. Olymp meets both criteria for me. Lots of choice, quick and simply warm. I'm already looking forward to the next time. The "robust" ambience is enough for a lunch. Getting married somewhere else 😁. A plus: parking spaces in front of the restaurant. It would be nice if coffee or tea were offered. See you soon.

I've loved going here for years! The food is simply great, the prices have been comparatively low for years (!), and the owner and staff are friendly. There is no such thing as “service”. You get your drink and the food is brought to the table - what more do I need. "Atmosphere" - it's primarily a snack bar where you can sit outside (at an intersection - that's probably a matter of taste) but also very nicely inside. I still gave 5 stars for both categories because, although I rarely go out to eat, I immediately feel at home here and would heartily allow the owner and his staff to (continue to) successfully make stomachs happy.

I can't understand the overly positive reviews. I've been there several times now and tried different dishes. The taste was often quite good. But the portions are far too small for the price! Quite greasy and little or no vegetables on the side. The service is quite reserved.

For a snack the gyros is quite good. You can get it more often. Coleslaw a little too sour, tomato rice side dish could use a little more spice

I haven't had a Greek meal in a while. At short notice we decided to take some food home from Olympus. When I unpacked it at home, I noticed the wonderful smell of the spices and meat. The first bites of my bifteki took me back to memories of the 90s. My wife's gyros were also extremely tasty. I can only recommend it. The fries on the side weren't greasy at all either. I can really recommend the food.

We were greeted very friendly. And our order was completed quickly. We had gyros with fries, coleslaw and sauce. Delicious. We'd love to come back.

Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen dort essen zu gehen. Das Essen ist echt sehr sehr lecker und hat genau die richtige Portions Größe. Ich habe dort schon öfters mir was zu essen geholt,und es war immer sehr köstlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch , auch der Inhaber ist super nett und sympathisch!

Im Moment ist ein essen im Restaurant anscheinend nicht möglich. Dafür kann man aber per Telefon bestellen oder direkt im Geschäft und das Essen mitnehmen. Sehr lecker und ein guter Preis zeichnen das Restaurant aus. Einzig der kleine Parkplatz und die Lage direkt an einer Ampelkreuzung schränken die Bewertung etwas ein. Wegen der Lage, ist eine Zufahrt praktisch nur von der Stadt in Richtung Friedland möglich. Die Anwohnerparkplätze in der Umgebung sind meistens belegt. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist ein wenig älter und dadurch zwegmäßig aber nicht ansprechend, dafür aber sauber. Die Küche ist sauber, die Mitarbeiter nett und schnell. Und wenn es schmeckt, sollte man froh sein, das dieses kleine Restaurant Corona überlebt hat.

Hab dort Bifteki mit Pommes, Tzatziki und Krautsalat bestellt. Es hat alles außerordentlich gut geschmeckt. Hinzukommt, dass das Fleisch vom Bifteki sehr saftig und gut gefüllt mit Feta Käse war. Es hat mindestens genauso so gut geschmeckt wie unten in Griechenland. Ein sehr authentisches griechisches Restaurant, mit sehr netten und freundlichen Personal. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Feta Käse mit Oliven und Zwiebeln mit Olivenöl übergossen als Vorspeise einfach ein Traum ! dazu wenn man mag ein Pitabrot. Pita Gyros sehr zu empfehlen, man bekommt eine Ordentliche Portion und es schmeckt jedes mal einfach wieder Super ! Wir hatten außerdem ein Bifteki dazu bestellt was sehr lecker geschmeckt hat und frisch zubereitet wurde. Der Inhaber ist immer sehr Nett und geht auf alle wünsche ein. Ein sehr guter Laden wenn man Lecker Griechisch essen gehen will😊
