Super authentic Korean food at fair prices. Very nice staff too. However, you shouldn't expect a chic restaurant in the classic sense, as it is rather simply furnished. But there's something about it: you really feel like you're in a small local restaurant somewhere on a side street in Seoul. Clear recommendation!

Everything was great except that the smell of the restaurant lingers on our clothes for a bit long. Otherwise everything was great. I can only recommend. And we will definitely come back.

It was the worst restaurant I’ve ever tried in my life! We were 6 people and we arrived there first asked our reservation, they wanted us to wait then another group showed up and the waiter just came directly to them. Then we got our table in the corner and the menu took a while. Then to order it took a while and the foods also took a while~ then the pancake was raw, I can see the dough/flour. Then the waiter were sooo unfriendly!

The service was soo good, very active - if u need something they attend u immediately. Shout out to the young round hair cut waiter. Food was fantastic, we love and always get the ketchup chicken here. KBBQ was also very nice😋👍.

We had an original Korean BBQ here and I was told that it was very close to the BBQ in South Korea. Grilling at the table and grilling yourself is popular - there was enough meat, salad, sauces and the side dishes such as kimchi, rice, etc. could be refilled at no extra charge. Back then I went to Arirang very often because you could get food quickly and it was cheap. All the records now cost 50% more than in 2021. Sure, everything is getting more expensive, but I have the feeling that the quantity has also become less. It's also dirty there. If you look at all the records, they're all dirty. The residue sticks to the plates because they are rarely cleaned. Otherwise the food itself is delicious.

We have been here several times and still find the food to be okay. Although the price is higher, there are even more expensive alternatives. Unfortunately the service this time was very disappointing. It took almost an hour until all the dishes were at the table. The waiter promised several times to take our order but kept walking past us until finally another waitress tried to take everything. She was committed, but there was chaos. The gaps between dishes were so great that some of us had already finished by the time the last dish was served. Even the rice only came when the first dish was almost eaten. In addition, the service was not particularly friendly. But payment was particularly quick for the waiter ;-). We hope that things go better next time and then there will certainly be more stars.

Store completely rocked. From the chaos and dirt in the dining room to the toilets, you wouldn't want to assume it's the kitchen. The marinated beef So Bulgogi on the table grill was a coherent piece of meat (not just for us). There were no typical scissors or at least a knife for cutting. Iceberg lettuce with small insects as a "side dish". For 4 people there was half a quartered baked potato, which was served cold and dry. This has nothing to do with Gamja Jorim (potato pieces with a sweet and spicy sauce and a little sesame). There was also a dollop of kimchi. I was asked if I would like a glass of a Hefeweizen beer. Seriously? The taste was ok. We asked to take the rest of the food with us. A plastic bowl with a piece of aluminum foil was placed on the table without saying a word. Why two stars? Less than one star is not possible. The second star is given out of pity for the poor waiter who was allowed to work the whole place alone, which somewhat excuses the lack of service. That was the only reason there was a tip, which brought a smile to his face for the first time. How beautiful smiling people can be. 5 stars should actually be the maximum rating in star gastronomy, right? So what is it that so many people give maximum points to? Brooding.

Must visit restaurant for korean food lovers. Authentic koreans taste, nice atmosphere, great service, most importantly reasonable price. Highly recommended place in Berlin.

During our visit on January 2nd, it felt like we were intruding on their private space. When we asked for extra rice there was anger, to the point where we decided not to ask anything further. There was no acknowledgment when paying, not even a simple "thank you". She left right after we swiped the card. (without a single word!) I appreciate the positive experience with the male waiter, but the continued rudeness of the female waitress made us decide this was our last visit. As a former waitress, I understand it can be difficult, but this type of behavior loses customers. I'm sure you've lost not only me but many others too. It is disappointing to see the quality of service decreasing because of a single employee. Ps: She's been working there for a while, but she doesn't know what "Sangyopsal" means or what number it is - even I know. By the way, the number is 54. lolllllllll!!!!!!

I went there because it was a Korean restaurant... well... it turned out to be a restaurant run by ethnic Koreans. Employees speak Chinese among themselves. The bibimbap was edible, but I'm not sure about the other dishes. You have to buy water to drink it, but it comes in a glass, but it was a bit fishy, ​​probably because it came from the glass.

It's just an amazing place, I come here very often and it's always good. They don't play around, good food, delivered quickly. The food is everything there, no distracting decorations, no fancy looking nothing. Just good food and nice people.

Solid food and friendly staff, a man and an older lady. The indoor area feels more like a cafeteria, but the outdoor area is quite pleasant. Therefore I cannot share the negative reviews I have read here.

The food was decent, nothing to write home about. The spicy squid was seasoned well, however the squid was very mushy as it was in the freezer way too long. The galbi tang could use more seasoning, the tangsuyuk has no veggies, but they put a lot of chopped garlic in the dish. Note that the place is not run by Koreans, but the food was decent. One thing that bothered me a lot was the workers taking smoke break every five minutes, then serving the clients. They should be more mindful.

Arirang is not what we imagine a hip Korean restaurant to be today, but Korean dishes were served here when hardly anyone in Berlin knew what kimchi was. Arirang has the charm of a school gymnasium that has been equipped with a cafeteria, but the cuisine is simply good and the service staff does their best... For me, Arirang is still a top address for Korean BBQ

It used to be good, but now it's just overcrowded, not much food for the price, busy waiters, but fortunately young Koreans, which contributes to the authenticity of the shop. The prices from almost 8 years ago can no longer be compared with today. However, this is also due to the generally increasing costs. Nevertheless, great care is now being taken to be as profitable as possible. This becomes apparent when on a weekend only one waitress is responsible for the large room with an outdoor area until before 6 p.m. and at the same time tries to keep up with the drinks. Nine of us sat there and observed that the kitchen also helped out. When we asked, we learned that this understaffing is normal. As a larger group, we received 2x starters - 8 small bowls with manageable contents. When asked whether a few more bowls might be possible, the response was very reluctant. The wait for drinks was longer than 25 minutes, the food was served and was already lukewarm when cutlery was added. If you don't draw attention to yourself or take the initiative, you should be patient and not very hungry. In terms of portion size, the food was, well, tasty. In the picture you can see the current size of a BBQ with beef and sweet potato glass noodles.

arirang had always been my top resto to go to with friends but last week this waitress (the one with long dark hair and thick false eyelashes) served us a really small portion of the food we always get, i even confronted her and she just brushed it off plus the spoiled kimchi side dish they served us.better go to the one in bornholmer, better service and better food portions

As much as we love the food we were disappointed with 2 of the male staff during our visit. We were seated and asked for the menu but the staff one after another told us to wait. As we waited patiently these TWO MALE STAFF served the menu to the new incoming customers. Worst these new customers have been already in the middle of their meal and we’re still not being served the menu. 3 batches of customers! I hope it’s not them being racist, but the white people are being served first. It’s dissatisfying!

The staff are very friendly, but only speak English and Korean. Unfortunately I don't like the food. Bibimbap was ok, but a bit dry. Chicken was too soft with sauce directly on it, so it's better to leave it separate. And I have a feeling that I'm eating tapioca flour, not chicken. Side dishes were just delicious 😋

The shop is a bit hidden but definitely worth a visit! You get a few side dishes with the gas cooker, but you should definitely order rice with it. The food tastes really excellent! I can especially recommend the ketchup chicken!

The food is good , generous portions and fair pricing. The ambience is frankly non existing with green walls and blue black chairs . They have an indoor coutyard which is a better place for enjoying korean grills in summer.

Lunch is perfect here. You can usually find a seat, are served quickly, the food comes quickly and there are delicious appetizers for free. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired, but that's not what matters to me during my lunch break.

Best best BEST Korean restaurant I have been in continental Europe. Comparable to the food I had in South Korea. Been here so many times, every single time was amazing. My favorite dining spot in Berlin. The prices are fair, the service is fast and the dishes are amazing. We usually go for so-bulgogi which gets served at lightning speed along with a good selection of side dishes. We have also occasionally order budae-jigae, kimchi-jigae, yangnyeom chicken, bibimbap, mandu and various stir fry dishes. They never disappoint. They also have Korean beer (cass) The only problem is that sometimes they are noticeably a bit short on staff. Still an amazing place, definitely recommended.

Arirang is my top Korean restaurant. Compared to other Korean restaurants in Berlin, Arirang may not be visually appealing, but the food there is delicious. I ordered the standard So-bulgogi grill and yangnyeom chicken for 3 people. Including drinks, it came to 52 euros (for 3 people). The only thing that annoys me is those handwritten bills haha. We definitely enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere was like a Korean drinking house. The Spicy Squid was delicious, however it wasn’t spicy at all. But I learned that you can ask for anything extra spicy. The portion size was prefect and it contained lots of vegetables and squid. The texture was perfect. I just wish the dish was more spicy. We also shared seafood pancake. It wasn’t as good as the original in Korean version. It needed more veggies and more seafood. But other than that it was great. We definitely will return. Overall a very positive and happy experience.

Unfortunatley this place has turned for the worst. It used to be a great place to have korean bbq, but after todays visit, I feel sick to have been there. The food was obviously canned and the service was terrible. In the end they even tried to overcharge me.

I've always been a regular customer of this branch only because of the taste of the foods here. I never doubt any dishes that they serve, it's always tasty and on point! Good price and fair portions also. But today, i've experienced the worst service ever from the staff. In terms of service, if i have the option to put "ZERO" OR NO STAR AT ALL, i would like to take that option. Not friendly at all, not even smiling, and the attitude of all the staffs are so arrogant. I can understand, it's tiring working in gastronomy but when you work in this field, the Quality of the service is also one important factor to keep the customer coming back to your restaurant. I hope their staff can get trained on how to give a good service to the customer. It's just too sad, when the taste of the foods are good but the service from the staff is so bad

For korean bbq it has a very bad ventilation and you’ll really stink after. But foods and the side dishes are always excellent. It is salty enough, just right. You can add rice and side dishes too.

Essen: große Portionen und suuuuuuper lecker. Service: sehr guter Service, Tische waren sauber, schnelle Bestellung und schnell serviert. Ambiente: seeeehr schlichte Innenausstattung und sieht wirklich sehr langweilig aus 😄. Aber hey, ich bin dort gewesen um zu essen und nicht die Wände anzuschauen. Also es ist verbesserungswürdig aber kein Muss. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Kuss geht raus! ❤️
