The portions are unbelievable huge and taste really good. Plus they give you free vegetable snacks which are already good to have no hunger more.

I don't know if it's the same place as Arirang in Jjo, but in terms of hygiene, it seems to be more hygienic than the Jjo Station branch! The cold ginseng was delicious, and sometimes the staff would forget it when I ordered it.

Decent place for large portions of Korean food. Some of the banchan and the tartare were too sweet for me but that's personal preference. Loved the wheat tea! Loved the service, super friendly! Given the portion sizes tho I wish they had some kind of sampler, so I could've tried more things, two mains are sadly too much for one person. Definitely will be recommending this place!

This restaurant used to be my favorite, but now it’s the worst place. For example, I ordered a seafood dish but received 100 grams of flour for 10 euros. I am deeply disappointed. If you love eating flour, this is the place for you. However, if you’re looking for good food, I strongly do not recommend this restaurant!

The quality has rapidly deteriorated 4 times. The meat was hard to chew and there was hardly any seafood to be seen in the seafood pancake, just batter.

OMG, how much fun we had: 7 people, 4x grill for 2 people. Super delicious! Plus good appetizers, Korean schnapps, good beer, epic. Spent two and a half hours that couldn't be better!

Horrible service, in order to serve the customers outside, the door was constantly left open next to our table, having minus temperatures outside it was far from pleasant, even though we kindly asked the staff to close it while outside.

One of my fav spot to dine as a big group. They added to Wolt and I was surprised that they gave me side dishes and a portion of rice to my order I recommend the Yang-Nyeom Chicken

Dol Sot Bibimbap is delicious, but Beef Bulgogi is too sweet, too sweet to eat, almost leaving everything behind.

The bulgogi with pork belly was absolutely incredible! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, making it the best bulgogi I’ve ever had. The side dishes and dumplings were just as amazing – every bite was a delight. On top of that, the portions are super generous, perfect for two people to share. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic, delicious Korean food. Can’t wait to come back!

This popular restaurant specializes in Asian-Korean cuisine and is particularly busy in the evenings. The menu is extensive and the prices are acceptable. The service has improved compared to our last visit a few months ago thanks to new staff who, however, still speak relatively poor German. The waiting time until the orders are on the table has also been significantly shortened. In the past, waiting times for certain orders of 30 minutes or more were not uncommon. There is an outdoor area that is covered in the cold season and can therefore also be used. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not barrier-free. In the evenings it is also difficult to find a parking space.

We had trouble in finding the place through google maps but the food and service was worth it. The taste is authentic korean food and korean staff.

Normally we come often, but today they have as such a little portion, that we decide never to come again after we de the references. You never now what can happen and who is working or how they behave. Really disappointed miss the old shop near to Warschauer, where the owner always was !

Best Korean BBQ in Berlin. It’s real food, taste is awesome and the service is great. Try Nr 53 bbq with beef. It’s like heaven. Price to value is also very fair.

Giving one star as they made us pay in cash just because we were a group of people. They should explain this in advance or change their system. Also, it was very cold in the outside area, so needs more heaters. Food was alright.

The food is very tasty and plentiful for a good price. The service (no matter which one) is easily overwhelmed, can't keep up with clearing away/setting the table and barely speaks German. Communication in English is possible at some point. That's why they sometimes brought the wrong drinks. The boss also personally apologized for forgetting food.

I got this place recommended by cafe Lia Ppang's owner, honestly shocked the Maps rating is so low, what a hidden gem... Portion sizes are huge, food is delicious, prices are shockingly low for Berlin standards, genuinely if you want to go for a cheap, quality Korean meal this is your spot. The ambience and the service are pretty basic, but all I care about is the food at the end of the day, easily 5 stars. My fave was the tangsuyuk, but both the jjamppong and squid deopbab were amazing too! My Korean teacher who I went for dinner with also loved everything, we ended up paying a total of €56 for 3 main dishes, 3 beers and a bottle of soju (+ free rice and banchans included).

This was my first time trying Korean cuisine, and I gotta say this was not a good choice to start with 😄 Although it was very crowded, I didn't find the food very healthy and well served. First of all, the tables were suuuper greasy that i had to wash my whole arms! secondly the food brought to our table seemed like there was no effort in making them like the pork was just brought out of the freezer and it was all frozen with ice on them. That's why it was super cheap, for two people we spent like 30€ and ate like a dog! 😂 The other thing that ruined my experience was that all the tables are very near each other and had oven on them. they were all frying pork, meat, .... which made there smell like burned oil and the smell made my appetite gone 😅 The staff didn't talk to us at all and were in a rush! one of them that was serving us knocked us out of the way with his elbow 😂 I think there must be better Korean restaurants that I would have had better experience with but It's cheap fast and it seems like so many people like it, not me though haha

So we've eaten here several times. But today was really catastrophic... Very disappointing. The rice is usually soft, but today it was just mushy. The kimchi jjigae stew with ramen is a real disappointment. I feel like I paid more for the pork fat - €28. The table was also sticky and dirty. The chef appears to be having a very bad day. Service sometimes ignored us, as if the employees didn't want to do their work, perhaps because they weren't paid well. We are really very dissatisfied today.

What can you say? If the term “head chef” ever made sense, it is here. It's been a long time since I've had such fun in Essen as I did in this place. We ordered four dishes, octopus, oxtail soup, tripe and braised pork. Everything was just fantastically well prepared, I imagined that's what it must taste like if you were invited to eat by a farming family in a Korean village. There was simply nothing that wasn't tasty, from fish and meat to onions, everything was aromatic and cooked to perfection. The ambience, which somehow seemed like a rustic, unrenovated potato restaurant, where cupboard doors were closed with adhesive strips and the toilet floor tiles had a layer of grease thick enough to slip on, was completely forgotten about this culinary dream. I have no idea what Korean tastes like in Korea, but this Korean restaurant in Germany is an experience I want to repeat as soon as possible. This menu begs to be explored!

Minus one star as I’m pretty sure we got food poisoning from the not entirely cooked pork in the black bean noodles. That being said, the food slaps and with these type of restaurant and the price it’s always a gamble.

A nice place to come eat the most typical dishes and enjoy the Korean Culture as well. With no doubt, I'll return in the future, the ambience and the service are great and the employees really treated me and my colleagues as part of the same family 😸.

There were three of us there and the review is a collaborative product. From our point of view, the food was really traditional Korean and delicious, the cleanliness in the dining room was borderline poor (tables were sticky, the walls were partially covered with leftover food) and when I wanted to go to the toilet, my bladder spontaneously changed its mind. I haven't experienced such a dirty place in a long time. Despite the good food, it's not a place I'll visit again. It's a shame, does it have to be like that?

We ate at Arirang for the first time. I have to say that the food was very tasty. What really shocked me were the toilets. Very dirty, toilet paper was dirty on the floor, the toilets were black inside, the sink was also very dirty. Dining room could also be made more comfortable with a simple repaint. As I said, very tasty but not a second time.

The ambience isn't that great, but it's more than worth the cheapest, delicious and authentic Korean food. Highly recommended.

We came around 5pm and it was very empty. We were the only ones inside and there were a few guests outside. We ordered Tangsuyuk, Jjajangmyeon and fried chicken. The food came in 10-15 mins. The portion size was more than enough for the two of us and we had to take half of it home. The flavour was a bit lacking, but since we got so much for the money it was fine for us. The noodles lacked black bean flavour, the panade of the fried pork and chicken were still a bit raw and the sour and sweet sauce of the pork is too jelly like. I would recommend this place to big groups, if you want to eat K-Bbq or if you're more about getting full than the flavour, but not if you want to experience authentic Korean taste.

It's not a fancy restaurant, but I find the atmosphere more like a garden/beer tent pavilion very relaxed and pleasant. Prices are cheap for what's on offer and the grill plates, whether pork belly to grill yourself or marinated meat in sauce, are very large and also delicious + it's fun to grill and put things together with salad, small snacks, rice and sauces. The fact that you can just get a large bottle of cola for €4 and share it is also great. The pickled things and marinades certainly don't have the most special flavors/seasonings, partly. There seems to be a lot of sugar in it too, but overall I like going here.

No frills place with delicious Korean barbecue. Everything on the menu is great & authentic (but think most of the people come for BBQ), service friendly & reasonably quick. Atmosphere is a bit random but somehow it works with the whole experience. Great place, and will definitely be coming back.

Edith: we ate there again and it was very disappointing. The lunch menu we came for said it no longer existed and we were only offered the expensive meal. However, the guests who arrived shortly after us received the lunch menu. I reported this unfair treatment to the waitress and she just said sorry, she didn't know that. We won't come back again. The food was tasty and, above all, not too spicy. priced okay BUT cleanliness - period. The toilet had to be cleaned properly and all the spider webs on the ceilings weren't very pleasant.

Every time I eat ARRIANG, I am very satisfied, so satisfied ARIRANG's mixed barbecue is super delicious and fresh, and the Korean kimchi on the side dishes is well-pickled and tasty. Hot barley tea is delicious and relieves greasiness. The dining environment is fresh, clean and tidy. The waiter, Sister Xiao Liu, is kind and kind with a sweet smile. Location and the restaurant itself is better than the other arirang resto in Kudamm . Aside from that food is good and tasteful. Its just disappointing that the waiter for out group seem like unhappy to do her job. We always talk to the other waitress who is always around and attend us . Our designated waitress is not around.

A nice evening with good friends with delicious Korean food. Everything was very good: mandu, kimchi soup, kimchi pancakes and jajangmyeon. I lived in Korea for six years, and here's what makes my heart sing about Arirang Bulgogi: it's exactly like all the slapdash-but-totally delicious restaurants I ever ate at in Seoul. The best meals I had in Seoul were always at some random little shop down an alley where an old lady was running the place and sleeping on a mat in the back room, and there was no decor whatsoever - just chairs and tables. But amazing food, like the wisdom of twenty grandmothers concentrated in the banchan on your table. This place is a bit like that: the decor is obviously from the space's previous life as a Greek restaurant. Nothing is fancy. The service is reasonably fast, but basic. But the food is so good, so authentic, and unlike at so many other Korean restaurants in Berlin, the side dishes are included - you don't have to select them in addition to the main order. They just come to the table, like in Korea! Check this place out. It's a gem!

They sell Korean food but there are no Korean employees, only employees who appear to be Vietnamese. As soon as I entered, I told the unhappy-looking employee that there were two people, but she replied "wait" and waited for over 10 minutes, but there was no information. My friend who accompanied me said he was in a bad mood and asked me to leave, so I just wasted time and left. The floor was very sticky from spills and customers who appeared to be Vietnamese were let in immediately. This appears to be a purely Vietnamese restaurant disguised as a Korean restaurant.

Man ist reingegangen hallo gesagt und direkt werden einem schlechte Blicke zugeworfen zudem war die Kellnerin bei der Bestellungaufnahme sehr dessinteressiert und respektlos. Wor wollte nach dem Essen die Reste einpacken und mussten es am ende selbst in einer togo box Einpacken.

Food quality quite poor, we ordered a beef bulgogi grill but the beef on the grill was full of water (there was probably 400ml on the grill!!! The beef was sunk into the juice). The taste was just ok, the portions were generous. The teas were not homemade and they did not taste great neither. The service was poor and impolite. The price was really decent though, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this place for a korean bbq.

Behandeln dich wie einen Hund, habe noch nie so freche Bedienung erlebt. 직원들이 어느 나라 사람들인지 모르겠지만, 정말 싸가지 말아 먹으셨네요. 한국인 손님 없는것도 이해가 가요 ㅎ 손님을 아주 개보듯 대하던데 서비스를 떠나 인성에 문제가 있어 보이네요. 한두명이 아니라 직원 전체 분위기가 그렇더군요. 이 아리랑은 다신 올일 없겠네요.

Das Arirang ist eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Berlin. Authentische und sehr köstliche koreanische Küche. Das Bulgogi wird zwar auf mobilen Tellergrills zubereitet, ist aber deshalb nicht weniger schmackhaft. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach aber völlig ausreichend. Sehr gut von der koreanischen Diaspora besucht.

Das Schweinefleisch war schon schlecht und wurde trotzdem an unserem Tisch serviert. Als wir die Kellnerin drauf angesprochen haben, hat sie uns versichert, dass dieser sauerer Gerucht von dem Gewürz kommt und das Fleisch frisch ist. Wir waren schon öfter hier, aber es hat noch nie so gerochen und dazu schmeckte es auch noch sauer, einfach ekelhaft. Heute hatte es 30 Grad bei uns, auch wenn das Fleisch frisch wäre könnte es trotzdem schlecht geworden sein, wenn man es nicht richtig lagert. Nachdem sie der festen Überzeugung war, dass der Geruch von Gewürz kommt hat sie dann unseren Tisch verlassen. Wir haben die Platte nicht mehr angefasst um eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zu vermeiden. Wie der Laden auf unsere Beschwerde drauf eingegangen ist, ist gar nicht in Ordnung und ich versichere, dass ich diesen Laden nie wieder besuchen werde
