Juki in Berlin

The food used to be super good last year, really flavourful but now it has changed! The so bulgogi bbq and the pancakes had no taste, the dining experience was really disappointing. The toilets were super dirty as well so the overall experience was poor.

It was really tasty and a new experience for me. I’ve never tried such meat. They can do perfect sause for it. Highly recommended.

Delicious meals with nice service

Ich war mit meinen beiden Töchtern zum Abendessen dort. Außer das Vorspeisen nicht so frisch war und die Kellnerin uns zwingt, drei Hauptgerichte zu bestellen und am Ende automatisch 10% Servicegebühr auf die Kartenzahlung berechnet!!! nicht empfehlenswert.

Portions are overpriced and tiny, quality is mediocre.

TLDR: We had an extremely bad experience here as a group of 4 people. The reserved table was quickly given away and we were put off for over an hour. High price for small portions, a gas grill for 4 people with too little gas. On top of that, poor service and unfortunately even audacity. Definitely not recommended. We arrived at our reservation about 8 minutes later and our table was simply passed on. We were kept waiting for over an hour that a table would be available "soon". A grace period of at least 10 was not possible here at all. This is all about making quick money. According to the staff, there was no vegetarian menu at all, even though it is mentioned in many reviews. Really, I have no idea where the other people ate, but definitely not here, because there is definitely no vegetarian food at Yuki unless you only eat kimchi. There was a single small grill plate for 4 people and no chance of asking for a second one because they still needed some for other customers. If you run a Korean BBQ restaurant, you should have enough grills. The best part of all was that the grill was set way too hot, everything burned, and then there wasn't enough gas, so the whole thing was lukewarm. We asked for the gas to be replaced, something was mumbled (no more gas or something similar), then the female operator simply left again. Shortly before the kitchen was about to close, we were supposed to place the last orders. Someone ordered another ice cream. We had all eaten and 5 minutes later she actually came with the ice cream and put it on the table and left quickly!? We obviously still ate the BBQ. Should you eat the ice cream melted? So the waitress asked to please bring a new, unmelted ice cream AFTER the meal. When the time came, she actually brought the same ice with a small fresh layer of ice over the melted one. Picture is attached. Overall the service was very clumsy. You just had to “pursue” everything because nothing was right.

Amazing Korean BBQ, tasty food, the drinks were really good as well. Excellent service, attentive and kind.

There seemed to be only one person working at the time we went which meant our meals took a really long time, +30min. Food was underwhelming — okay, but there are definitely better options in the area. We had the pork belly and the beef bulgogi and the latter was better.

Food was good, ambience and service mediocre.

I ordered Mandu, Samgyoebsal, Kimchi jigae, and Bibimbab. They are so good and taste the same as in Seoul! 😍 I highly recommend Sangyoebsal and Bibimbab. The staff is also very kind and high standard of hospitality. This would be my first favorite Korean restaurant in Berlin. Don’t forget to order some Soju or Makgeolli to stay in the vibe.

I have to be honest and say that I am not making any recommendations here. The food didn't taste good, the meat was very tough, dry and had no taste like the shrimp. I've tried a few Korean BBQ restaurants and this was by far the worst I've ever been to. I would rather recommend other places such as Arirang where you should take an example.

I went there last evening with my friends and it was a real waste of money and time. My food was tasteless, no sauce served for the dish, the egg was weirdly stained in a chemically green colour that couldn’t have been caused by the algae, it looked very weird. My friends ordered a barbecue, the device did not have the gas spray inside, the outside table was not stable and turning the food on this barbecue device was risky, since it could fall at any time. Food was not fresh or tasty. Service was just as bad, careless waiter. Overall a big dissapointment we will never repeat.

I’ve been here a bunch of times and the Korean barbecue is consistently really good quality, with fresh meat and a pretty wide variety of banchan. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that, unlike most Korean barbecue restaurants, there isn’t a two-person minimum for the barbecue, which is really useful if you’re dining alone or if your dinner companions don’t want barbecue. The only thing I would criticize is that the last time we got the tteokbokki, it wasn’t as good as it usually is. It might have just been a fluke, and hopefully they haven’t changed anything about it permanently. Other than that, I like that the staff is friendly and the place is casual.

Interesting Korean BBQ. Very tasty, friendly service and the price is also fair in the end. The homemade iced teas and lemonades are worth a look.

Just ordered to go from here. And now what? I opened my food and smelled like it had gone. I tasted it and realized this food was gone. It may not be popular for selling but you should take care of your food quality. And they don't accept card payments under 50 euros.

Unfortunately, we both didn't think the food was that good. Price-performance wasn't right. We tried the 2-person grill menu. It wasn't anything special and you got very little for the price. It felt like a small portion for one person instead of two (see photo). Unfortunately I wasn't full despite two portions of rice. But the service was super good and courteous.

The food was great, good option for diversity, the waitress was nice and the price is reasonable, would give this place 5 stars but it ended on a really bad note, when we finished our meal I drank the last of the water I had left and to my unpleasant surprise there was a piece of glass at the bottom of the cup, when we confronted the waitress about it she was very sorry and went to speak with the manager but instead of offering a compensation the manager was simple sorry and said she doesn't know how this happen, we instead that this is not alright and could of ended very badly if the glass piece was swallowed and the response was an offer of a soujo shot or a soft drink, we did not want to have another drink from a place that had a glass in their water and had to continue insisting on a compensation until they gave in and offered to take off a small amount of the price we needed to pay for the meal, personally I was still not happy with that but arguing with the manager wasn't appealing to me, especially after we had to insist on any kind of actual compensation. Very sad and disappointed that this is how the evening ended, very poor handling of the manager with the situation, especially considering how dangerous it was. Bottom line you can eat here but be careful of what your drinking or don't drink here at all :(

Hello, yesterday my girlfriend and I had dinner here and I have to say that it was the worst experience we've had in a long time. Not only is it super stuffy because of grilling or frying in the lounge. We decided relatively quickly on drinks, but they only came to our table after about 35 minutes. Another 5 minutes pass and we are asked if we want to order food. We chose the "Try It Classic" for 2 people. This arrived after about 30 minutes along with our starter (which was also brought to us incorrectly the first time). I can't say much about the food as everything tasted the same. I think the problem here is that everything is put on the grill and therefore cooked in the same soup. The crowning conclusion was that we were accidentally charged €15 more and only noticed this after checking the bill. Unfortunately, I have to say that I won't be visiting any more Korean BBQ shops for the time being, as the visit has taken away my interest.

The bombe egg pot and the tteokbokki were truly the taste of Seoul. Cool .

Always great for solid korean bbq, beer and soju. We go to Juki at least once a year and they always deliver a great experience.

Super leckeres BBQ am Tisch zu normalen Preisen. (Man wird auch satt) Nach mittlerweile 2 Besuchen muss ich feststellen das es wohl auch unter der Woche besser ist ein Tisch zu reservieren.

Alles ist scharf. Obwohl Kinder mit am Tisch sitzen wird das bei Bestellung oder im Menü nicht erwähnt. Beilagen werden verkauft, aber nicht alle gebracht, nur wenn Mann fragt. Service nur nach Handzeichen.

Super repas ! Plats très copieux, viande très tendre et bien assaisonnée. Une petite pépite à aller découvrir !

Visited this Korean BBQ Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the DIY grilling at the table added to the fun. They had a great variety of sides and sauces to complement the meats. Would recommend.

Essen top, Preis war auch ok. Aber hervorheben muss man vorallem die super nette Kellnerin Nathida! Obwohl voll war und sie alleine, gab es kein Moment wo man nicht richtig bedient wurde. Freundlich sowie zuvorkommend, lange nicht mehr solch einen positiven Service erlebt wie sie :)

The best Korean restaurant from the whole Korean food in Berlin I have been!! The taste of the BBQ is spotless! I also recommend Ddokbokki(sorry if I say it wrong lol) and Japchae. I love it so much. Another best part are the staff service with their smile and the decorations. I don’t know if I was over thinking but many people go there dating ^^ I bet, you will never down with this place!

went for a quick dinner and for that it works well The stew was spicy and hot, enough rice and sidedishes. Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere during my visit. I think the owner recently changed so they were still getting used to serving and the cash machine didnt work while I was there. Recommend the Kimchi stew!

Wir waren zu unserem Jahrestag hier das erste Mal Korean BBQ essen. Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr lecker und wurden sehr schnell serviert. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und zuvorkommend.

It’s a really nice and cozy restaurant with great but not overwhelming food options. The staff was really really kind and helpful with any questions. If I lived in Berlin I‘d definitely be a regular. Highly recommend 🙏🏼 (the beef bulgogi was to die for by the way and the kimchi was amazing too)

Very blend and tasteless bbq set. Definitely not worth of 32 EUR. Only thing was nice was the extra potatoes. That’s all. The marination is so badly done. It also took a very long time to be served .

Die Preise sind (wie überall) massiv gestiegen. Die Qualität hat allerdings nicht gelitten; wir hatten letzte Woche das Classic BBQ für 2 Personen (Garnele, Rind, Schwein und Huhn plus Beilagen) und es war wie gewohnt sehr lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den äußerst netten Service! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Finde die Bewertungen hier eindeutig zu streng. Das Essen war super, ja fast ein kleines Erlebnis, die Bedienung mega freundlich. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. Auch hier hat die Inflation reingekickt, auch hier muss Miete gezahlt werden.

Wir hatten das BBQ , war sehr lecker und hat Spaß gemacht. Die Kellnerin war super nett und aufmerksam. Zwischendurch hat Sie uns immer wieder mal beim BBQ geholfen mit dem Gasbrenner 😄 . Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es nur für die fehlenden Auflagen auf den Holzbänken/ Stühlen , die dadurch doch schon etwas kalt waren beim sitzen -> das mag im Sommer sicher anders sein und das man leider nicht mit Karte zahlen kann, sondern nur in Bar -> dadurch musste ich erstmal zur Bank 15 min und wieder 15 min zurück laufen um Geld zu holen.

The service was very good, they were kind and took the time to grill with us and explain everything. The only reason for four stars is that they are not flexible if you want a mixed menu and do not eat seafood. But I loved tje experience and the food!!

Das BBQ war gut. Der koreanische Pfannkuchen sehr lecker, aber mit über 14 Euro schlichtweg zu teuer. Die Tische sind etwas zu klein, um gemütlich BBQ essen zu können. Die Bedienung (June) war dafür super aufmerksam, herzlich und toll! June hat sich auch großartig um unseren Grill gekümmert - wir mussten nichts machen, außer essen. ;) Wiederkommen werden wir allerdings vorerst nicht, weil wir schon bessere BBQs hatten.

On Saturday, the young man who served us was extremely charismatic and good-looking, which made our experience very unforgettable. The dinner was pleasant, but it did not blow anyone away, and it was served rather fast. However, the flavor of the food was significantly enhanced by the presence of this charming young man. It is the responsibility of the boss to offer him a raise. In addition, we ordered beverages and the main course. The kimchi pancake turned out to be quite tasty. The selection was limited, which makes it ideal for folks who have no prior exposure with Korean culture as it will not be too overwhelming for them. Would give a score of 4, but because we were served by this charming waiter, we awarded a score of 5.

Guter, netter und aufmerksamer Service, mega leckeres Essen, gelassene Atmosphäre! Mit dem BBQ-Grill am Tisch ist es echt ein Erlebnis. Sue hat uns bedient und wir haben uns gut aufgehoben und beraten gefühlt. Wir haben Tipps zum richtigen Verzehr der Getränke und Speisen bekommen und eine weitere Mitarbeiterin hat immer wieder auf unser BBQ aufgepasst damit wir es zur richtigen Zeit genießen konnten. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Super süßes Ambiente, kleines Restaurant mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereiten Personal. War unser erstes mal Korean BBQ, hatten uns von Essen her etwas mehr versprochen. Die Garnelen waren vom Geschmack her leider nicht ganz so lecker. Trotz Vorspiese, Hauptspeise und Nachspeise sind wir beide leider nicht wirklich satt geworden.

Ich war da schon viele male, egal ob mit familie oder kollegen und alle haben sie gesagt es schmeckt. ich empfehle den sehr gerne weiter. Der einzige mangel momentan ist das sie probleme mit der kartenzahlung haben. Es ist klein & fein also nicht groß also lieber immer mal für mehr als 2 personen reservieren. bis jetzt immer zu zweit glück gehabt ohne Reservierung. In die marinade könnte ich baden so lecker ist die. ich liebe es dort

Ich kann die ganzen schlechten Bewertungen so gut nachvollziehen. Wir waren auch hier essen und das Fleisch war so unappetitlich, die Banchans waren leider auch überhaupt nicht lecker. Kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen und sagen das ein Besuch, in diesen Restaurant sich einfach nicht lohnt. Da gibts in Berlin tausend andere koreanische Restaurants die um einiges besser schmecken und wo man für sein Geld noch leckeres Essen bekommt.

Die Meeresfrüchte aus der Tiefkühltruhe bei Netto schmecken besser als hier. Nehmt bloß keine Meeresfrüchte hier. Fleisch war ganz gut, preise haben ziemlich angezogen und die Portionen leicht kleiner geworden. Waren zu 6t hier und wurden gut organisiert bewirtet. Service war ganz normal, nichts besonderes aber auch nichts negatives. 3 Sterne weil Mittelmässig / ganz ok, kein 2ten Besuch Wert.

Average korean bbq: - there was no samgyeopsal. Explanation: it’s a monday and yesterday was sunday - salad for wrapping not included and costs extra - no perilla leaves for wrapping (maybe hard to get in europe) - sides were not a lot of choices (many items missing like garlic) - only one combined dipping sauce, usually the ssamjang/gochujang is separate, as well the sesame oil and the salts/peppers are separate. Staff were ok, one was very friendly, one seemed like not in the mood.
