AQUA HOTEL in Konstanz

Wir waren drei Nächte in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Die Mitarbeitenden sind alle sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist herausragend. Es gibt unglaublich viel Auswahl. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb. Allerdings ist die Innenstadt mit dem Auto aber auch mit dem Bus schnell zu erreichen.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Konstanz. Das Hotel hat uns bei Booking direkt mit der Ausstattung und der Angabe zum exzellenten Frühstück überzeugt. Die Erwartungen wurden aber bei Ankunft und Einchecken übertroffen – Malte und seine Familie führen hier wirklich ein Juwel. Die Energie des Hotels ist total fröhlich und charmant, der Service zuvorkommend und herzlich, die Einrichtung staunenswert (hätte am liebsten alles mitgenommen), das Frühstück herausragend! Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, aber sehr ruhig und gut angebunden mit der Innenstadt. Wir haben hier 4 wundervolle Tage verbracht und kommen definitiv wieder. Strategisch gut gelegen für einen Besuch der Insel Mainau. 15 min bis zum See zu Fuss. Personal ist mega freundlich, das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme und das allerbeste Frühstücksbuffet, das ich in meinem Leben je gesehen habe. Es gibt wirklich alles, was das Herz begehrt (von Weisseürsten über Kuchen zu Pancakes und extrem feine Laugenbrötchen) und alles ist super lecker. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls schön, das Bett sehr bequem. Nur die Duschkabine ist etwas umständlich.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, Zimmer ausreichend, Lage im Industriegebiet war uns vorher bekannt - Lautstärke kein Problem. Herausragendes Frühstück, weit weit oberhalb was man erwarten durfte!! Wenn Reisegruppen (ältere Herrschaften) im Hotel sind, ist es lauter und man die Plätze werden knapp. Für die fehlende Rücksichtnahme kann natürlich das Hotel nichts. Wir nutzen die Busverbindungen um in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Kein Problem.

Die Zimmer überragend. Die Wäsche riecht nach Liebe. Alles top + Chefsohn sehr sexy - immer wieder gerne!

Von außen sieht es heruntergekommen aus, aber innen ist es ausgezeichnet.

Tolles Haus mit noch etwas Potential. Empfang sehr freundlich und speditiv. Zimmer groß und sehr sauber, die Betten sind etwas zu weich aber gut für 1-2 Nächte. Potential sehe ich beim: - Licht und Ventilator im Zimmer, die Fernbedienung ist dafür gut gemeint aber nicht die beste Lösung. - beim Getränke Automaten, die Temperatur ist zu hoch, Eis fehlt gänzlich. Sehr gut: - Super Frühstück - Preis-Leistung - Freundlichkeit aller Personen - Parkplatz vor Hotel 10 €/24h Alles in allem kann ich das Aqua nur empfehlen, es liegt in der Industrie, aber in der Nacht ist es ruhig.

Sauberes Hotel. Mit dem Auto super gelegen. Besonderes Lob möchte ich für das Frühstück aussprechen! Habe schon in teureren Hotels viel schlechteres Frühstück gehabt. Riesige Auswahl und alles schmeckt gut.

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Konstanz in einem Industriegebiet, was aber keinerlei Auswirkungen auf den Wohlfühlfaktor hat. Von außen ist es etwas unscheinbar, aber drinnen richtig angenehm gestaltet. Vor dem Haus befindet sich auch ein großer Parkplatz. Dennoch kann ich nur empfehlen innerhalb Konstanz auf den öffentlichen Nahverkehr umzusteigen. Mit der Gästekarte kann Bus und Bahn kostenlos genutzt werden. Es gibt mehrere Bushaltestellen in der Nähe, welche genutzt werden können um in die City zu gelangen (im schnellsten Fall ca. 15 Minuten). Der Empfang im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr vielfältig und auch das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und für die Hotelkategorie sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Auf Grund eines kostenlosen Upgrades bin ich sogar in den Genuss eines größeren Zimmers mit zwei getrennten Räumen für Dusche und WC, einer Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator (war bei der Hitze sehr angenehm) sowie einer Infrarotkabine gekommen. Dazu war auch ein kleiner Kühlschrank sowie eine Kaffeekapselmaschine im Zimmer vorhanden. Alles in allem kann ich dieses Hotel nur empfehlen und werde sicherlich wieder kommen, wenn ich im Raum Konstanz bin. Vielen Dank!

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt; der Empfang, das Zimmer und das Frühstück waren allesamt von sehr hoher Qualität. Die Lage ist ideal, um die Region zu erkunden. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Mit Liebe eingerichtet. Frühstück ist der Hammer. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Der Internetauftritt ist sehr ehrlich und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen, daher 5 Sterne für dieses Preisleistungsverhältnis. Bei einem 5*-Steigenberger-Hotel für 450€/Nacht wäre natürlich mehr zu erwarten. Die Betreuung durch die Inhaberfamilie ist überdurchschnittlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Frühstück ist das Beste Hotelfrühstück, dass ich je gesehen habe. Leider ist die Lage des Hotels mitten in einem Gewerbegebiet nicht so attraktiv. Busverbindungen gibt es zwei ,die tagsüber regelmäßig, abends und an Feiertagen aber nicht oft fahren.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, leckere Pizzen am Abend, Zimmer ok, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut, transparente Informationen zu kostenpflichtigen/kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten und umfangreiche Tipps für Aktivitäten.

Das Aqua-Hotel bildete den Abschluss einer 5-Tagestour in 3 verschiedenen Städten und Hotels. Und dieser war alles in allem das Tollste! Beim Check-In wurden wir mega herzlich empfangen. Auf Nachfragen konnten wir unser Zimmer noch in eines mit Balkon upgraden. Alles am Empfang war durchdacht und gästeorientiert. In einem kleinen Heft stand alles Wichtige für einen Aufenthalt in Konstanz: Busverbindungen inkl. Abfahrtszeiten, Restaurant- und Barempfehlungen, Schlechtwettertipps, eine ganze (!) durchgeplante Woche als Idee/Anregung. Schon der Eingangsbereich ist wunderschön, liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Beim Betreten unseres Zimmer erwartete uns dasselbe. Schön, modern, mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Hotel und kostet 10€ die Nacht, Top! Fahrkarten bekommt man kostenlos vom Hotel. Da der Bus direkt um die Ecke abfährt und man in max. 10 Minuten in der Altstadt ist, stört auch die Lage im Gewerbegebiet gar nicht. Der große Knaller ist aber das Frühstück. Wir haben noch nie so eine reichhaltige Auswahl bei einem Frühstücksbuffett gehabt, bei dem wirklich alles, was wir probiert haben lecker war! Prosecco und frisch gepressten Orangensaft gab es zur Krönung des Frühstücks auch noch. Das Restaurant war ebenso toll eingerichtet wie der Rest des Hotels! Volle Punktzahl und die wärmste Empfehlung an künftige Konstanz- Besucher!!! Wir kommen definitiv wieder...

Aqua Hotel Konstanz. Das Hotel ist komfortabel, sauber und ruhig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Lage ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Ich habe mich während meines Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Wir haben das Aqua Hotel gebucht für eine Familienfeier, weil wir viele Familienzimmer mit 4 Betten gebraucht haben. Das Hotel liegt tatsächlich eher im Industriegebiet von Konstanz, aber wir sind super von dort mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt gekommen. Der Bus war mit der BodenseeCard, die das Hotel organisiert hat und inklusive war, kostenlos. Besonders gut geeignet ist das Hotel für Radfahrer, denn es liegt 300m vom Bodenseeradweg entfernt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und groß, stilvoll und angenehm eingerichtet. Zum Frühstück gab es eine unglaubliche Auswahl an Speisen! Die Betreiberfamilie und das Personal waren durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Auto kann man vor dem Haus parken, allerdings kostet der Hotel-Parkplatz 10 EUR pro Nacht. Insgesamt ein super angenehmes Hotel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Liebenswert geführtes Familien Hotel zum Wohlfühlen.

Wir haben nach Reklamation beim Inhaber (kam bei ihm nicht gut an!) ein Zimmer mit Außenterrasse im 3. Stock erhalten. Das Zimmer war soweit o.k., jedoch gab es einige Kritikpunkte, die nicht so toll waren: 1. Um zur Außenterrasse zu gelangen muss man eine ca. 40cm hohe Stufe überwinden. 2. die Dielen der Außenterrasse waren teilweise verschlissen, standen hoch und wackelten. 3. in einem der 2 Aschenbecker im Außenbereich (Nichtraucherzimmer ?!) war noch 1 Kippe gelegen 4. der Einstieg in die Eckdusche (ca. 30 cm hoch) gestaltete sich sehr unkomfortabel, war aber noch zu bewältigen. Schwerer wurde es beim Verlassen der Dusche, denn auf dem glatten Duschboden läuft man Gefahr, auszurutschen und sich zu verletzen. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist wirklich erstklassig. Große Auswahl, und für jeden was dabei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Absoluter Wohlfühlort mit Herz! Ich war für einen Wochenendtrip mit meinen Mädels in Konstanz und wir hätten uns kein besseres Hotel aussuchen können. Das Aqua Hotel ist ein familiengeführter Betrieb und das merkt man an jeder Ecke – die Liebe zum Gast und zum Detail ist überall spürbar. Ein riesiges Dankeschön auch an das gesamte Team: Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich durch diese authentische Gastfreundschaft sofort bestens aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Betten sind wahnsinnig bequem. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Frühstücksbuffet: Eine Wahnsinnsauswahl, bei der wirklich kein Wunsch offen bleibt. Auch die Lage ist super: Man kann bequem zum Rhein-Ufer laufen und dort die Gegend genießen. Ein Wohlfühlort und eine top, top Empfehlung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ein wunderschön eingerichtetes Hotel, welches mit unglaublich viel Herzblut und Charme betrieben wird. Malte und seine Familie betreiben das Hotel mit unglaublich viel Hingabe und Leidenschaft und man fühlt sich als Gast bei ihnen sofort wohl. Die Zimmer und das ganze Hotel sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und besonders die vielen Pflanzen und die Deko hat uns unglaublich gut gefallen. Wir haben dieses Wochenende ein Mädelsurlaub in Konstanz verbracht und konnten uns am Morgen beim Frühstücksbuffet ausgiebig für den Tag stärken. Keine von uns hat jemals solch ein reichhaltiges Buffet gesehen, es lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen, wirklich unglaublich! Vielen lieben Dank an Malte und sein komplettes Team, wir sind begeistert und kommen definitiv wieder!

Sehr gutes und vielfältiges Frühstück. Nachts und abends sehr ruhig. Morgens sind dann Lastwagen zu hören, aber ist ok, da man sowieso aufsteht.

Wir haben hier nicht geschlafen sondern im Rahmen einer Oldtimerralley gefrühstückt und am späten Nachmittag noch gesessen. Der Service beim Frühstück und im Biergarten war exzellent. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine überraschend große Auswahl, und obwohl es sehr voll war, ging nichts aus. Die Lage im Industriegebiet ist möglicherweise nicht die attraktivste, für Stadterkundungen aber vollkommen in Ordnung.

Tolles Familienhotel. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, da merkt man, das es von der Familie geführt wird. Die Lage im Gewerbegebiet mag am Anfang sonderbar klingen, ist es aber nicht, da es nie zu einer Lärmbelästigung kam. Die Anbindung an 2 Buslinien ist perfekt. Selten so ein gutes Frühstück bekommen. Lara die jun. Chefin ist der gute Geist im Frühstücksraum und kümmert sich dort liebevoll um Ihre Gäste.

Ich liebe dieses Hotel. Bin schon zum zweiten Mal hier. Das Hotel liegt zwar im Gewerbegebiet aber man kann mit der Gästekarte kostenlos in die Stadt rein fahren. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Man weiß gar nicht was man zuerst essen soll. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, Zimmer sind auch groß genug. Jederzeit gerne wieder

We ve had a wonderful experience staying here. And the PROACTIVE service level by Can and Ecem was unbelievable and such a ultimate level up human experience compared to current hotel and airbnb standard. I trust Aqual Hotel knows what gems they hired. It is hard to find people that love to ,,service other people and make them happy,, (quoting Can). Can was very kind and hardworking. Always helpful, reliable, and positive. A real pleasure to interact with. And it was exactly the kind of people you as a hospitality company can rely on and generates ,,loyalty and brilliant human impression money,, revenue. Ecem was extremely warm, attentive, and dedicated. You can really feel the care she puts into everything she does yet doing everything with utmost dedication and willingness to not dissapoint the management. Definitely recommend people to stay here just to feel chill, human, kind and happy in their busy lives. And also, the bar rents our boards games and lets you swing on a swing! Awesome move!

The hotel is located in an industrial area but is in a great location. Plenty of parking is available.

For me, the perfect accommodation in Konstanz. I would always stay at the Aqua Hotel again. It's run with heart, lovingly and comfortably furnished, and the breakfast buffet surpasses anything I've experienced before. Absolutely fantastic.

Three days in Konstanz, two nights at the Aqua Hotel – perfect. Perfect in every way! A former industrial building, stylishly renovated. The staff and the family who run it are very pleasant; you immediately feel at home. The breakfast is fantastic. You practically have to get up early to enjoy the incredible selection of delicacies. The hotel's location is also perfect. Very easy to reach upon arrival, and public transport is right around the corner, offering free travel all around Konstanz. I would gladly stay here again anytime.

My son and I spent a short trip to Konstanz (December 27-29, 2025). The hotel room was clean and well-furnished. We slept well. Breakfast was plentiful, and parking was reasonable at €10 per night. The staff was very friendly. A special highlight: a technical fault (a lightbulb in the bathroom burned out overnight) was even replaced on Sunday, and a loose electrical outlet was securely reattached. A public transport ticket for the three days was also included in the price. All in all, a very successful stay. Dominic and Marcel

We'll be back. This family-run hotel is something special. Everyone is very friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight is the breakfast. It's worth 5 stars. The quality and selection are impressive. They leave nothing to be desired.

Incredibly charming and lovingly decorated, the rooms are very quiet; we couldn't hear a thing from the other guests. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had, and we were even allowed to have hot chocolate early with our child. There's a selection of games available, a cozy bar, and a snack vending machine. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. A truly wonderful experience.

Studio with balcony, spacious and functionally furnished. All staff members were very, very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The location is easily accessible by bus.

We would have loved to give it 5 stars, but unfortunately, we have to deduct one star because the rooms are extremely noisy.

Hello reviewers The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Great! The family-run business is clearly making a difference. The location is fantastic. Instead of driving in the city traffic, we can take the bus to the center in 12 minutes. Everything is very clean, and the staff seems happy because the service is top-notch. And the breakfast buffet is 25-30 meters long! The price-performance ratio is excellent. The room could even be more expensive. The room design shows a lot of creativity and care. Booked for one night, everything was great and comparatively inexpensive. A lot of attention to detail had been put into the interior design, and it was clean. The parking situation was a bit tight when we arrived.

The hotel is located in an industrial park, which has the advantage of ample parking. The old town is a 12-minute bus ride away. It's probably a 25-minute walk to the thermal baths if you know your way around the transfer point; we missed our connection and it took us an hour. Admittedly, the fastest way is by car. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The lobby is very nicely designed, with a bit of a furniture store feel, but in a good way. Water and tea are always available free of charge. The room with the sauna was very pretty, inviting, and perfect for relaxing. The infrared sauna heats up quickly, and two people can sit side-by-side; lying down isn't possible, but it's very comfortable for one person. The shower and toilet are separate. You can enjoy your first coffee in bed in the morning, as there's a capsule coffee machine in the room. The breakfast buffet offers a very wide selection, and the breakfast room is beautifully designed, with greenery to help separate the tables. There's a small bar, but we didn't try it. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'd gladly come back.

A hidden gem! The hotel is fantastic – especially the junior suite. A lovingly run family business, super dog-friendly, and always attentive to your comfort. The breakfast offers an exceptionally large and delicious selection. The restaurant is incredibly charming, beautifully decorated, and the food and drinks are excellent! We'll be back!

Don't let the exterior fool you! We can absolutely recommend this hotel! It's very tastefully and lovingly decorated. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Cocktails are served at the bar in the evenings, and meals are available in the restaurant. The bus lines are nearby, and you can reach the city center quickly and easily without changing buses. We would love to come back again. Thank you!

Located slightly outside of Konstanz, but still easily accessible by public transport, parking directly at the hotel is €10 per day, or free parking is available on the street, super friendly staff, large, very clean rooms, large shower, fast Wi-Fi, exceptionally good breakfast!

Many lovely details in the decor and excellent service. You almost feel like a member of the family. Everyone here is very welcoming.

You receive a truly warm welcome. The staff and owners are very empathetic. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and functional. The building appears to be a converted industrial structure. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. It has everything you could possibly want.

We stayed at the Aqua Hotel in Konstanz and felt completely at home! The hotel is very nice, the rooms modern and comfortable – we had a huge triple room where we slept wonderfully. Aqua Hotel, an experience from booking to departure. I've rarely had such a pleasant contact from booking onwards, who left nothing to be desired right up until departure. The breakfast was more than perfect; nothing was missing. We "only" had the standard rooms, and even these were so lovingly furnished and very clean. The hotel is rather inconspicuous from the outside and is located in an industrial area. However, this has the advantage of a large parking lot right in front of the hotel, for which a very reasonable fee is charged. Since the city center of Konstanz can be reached by bus in about a quarter of an hour, and the ticket is provided free of charge by the hotel, the not-so-central location is irrelevant. We received a very warm welcome from the young man at the reception desk. He gave us some restaurant recommendations and even reserved a table for us. Our room on the second floor was comfortably furnished. There was a very comfortable bed, a large TV, a refrigerator with two bottles of water, a Nespresso machine with four capsules, and a safe. Everything was clean and tidy, and there were no additional charges for drinks. We didn't notice any of the main road near the hotel in our room (with the window closed). The excellent breakfast buffet is also particularly noteworthy; it truly leaves nothing to be desired and is something I wouldn't have expected in this category of hotel and haven't experienced anywhere else before. All in all, highly recommended! We only stayed one night, but we could easily imagine a longer stay. Many thanks to the entire team!

A huge compliment to the hotel management and the staff, who were truly super friendly and fulfilled all our wishes. And a very warm welcome to the daughter of the hotel.

The value for money is decent. The hotel is located in an industrial area, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are in good condition and comfortable. However, there is a club nearby, and the music was very loud from 8 p.m. until checkout at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Parking is €15 per night.

Honestly, I've had much worse breakfasts in 5-star hotels. The breakfast buffet is truly outstanding, varied, lavishly prepared, and served in a pleasant atmosphere (nice decor, table spacing, no overcrowding). The staff is incredibly friendly. The rooms are fine. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings aren't particularly high-quality, but I'm happy to overlook that. The location isn't particularly good, but parking is cheap, and there's a good bus connection (15 minutes to the Old Town).

What a surprise! In the middle of an industrial park, the former Chamber of Industry and Commerce building has been transformed into a surfer's paradise. The Aqua lives up to its name with its decor, right down to the beach chair in the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast... There's nothing you can't find here! From 12 types of tea to 10 different cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, sparkling wine, and much more... Great rooms, friendly service, and I'll be checking out the bar tonight!
