AQUA HOTEL in Konstanz

I was visiting this hotel for the second time! This time with my wife and our child. We were delighted with the welcome and the general atmosphere of the hotel. Plus, the breakfast is truly amazing! We had a great time and will return!

Perfectly organized and very friendly

inexpensive, reliable and simply pleasant. You can, you even have to do it.

Fancy hotel. Location not so central, but bus stop and free day ticket for public transport. Pelin at reception is exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very rich and fresh. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable beds. Parking spaces are also available.

Very nice stay, the staff is very friendly and always helpful with questions. The breakfast is really excellent, there is really everything, from a normal snack (with home-baked bread) to muesli, egg variations, cakes, fresh vegetables and fruit, honey still in honeycombs that you can take out yourself, etc. The rooms are designed to match the theme of the hotel, but the light is a bit dim and some of the bathroom furniture unfortunately looks a bit old. Otherwise very modern room. For us, the location was perfect for being able to ride (bicycle) or walk in all directions. Because it's in an industrial area, the view isn't quite as nice, but you can cope with that.

From the outside it's a normal hotel, but inside it is a great hotel with a Mediterranean atmosphere. It's beautifully decorated. The biggest thing is the breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired. The bosses and staff are super friendly. We will come again

5 out of 5 in every respect - from the extremely friendly staff, to the delicious breakfast, to the beautiful room! Parking right in front of the door and the location were perfect for us. Conclusion: absolutely recommended and would gladly come again. Thank you very much for the wonderful time with you!

Very nicely decorated inside, rooms are clean and large, breakfast is very rich and varied. The bar with swings is a little highlight. The hotel is currently hidden by scaffolding. At the entrance it says "Resolve a parking ticket" but you should let the hotel know before you do it yourself, you'll save yourself 2 euros. Unfortunately, the rooms are a bit noisy, and the shower joints in the bathroom are partly dirty. But we would definitely come back!

Very warmly run family hotel! Breakfast buffet TOP!!! Everything your heart desires is there. A question I had about whether it was natural yogurt with a high fat content was immediately clarified by the boss and gave me an answer. Great, incredibly nice service staff took care of us. Everything is lovingly decorated and furnished with attention to detail. Super warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel! We knew the location of the accommodation. It was ideal for arrival and departure. The ticket is great so you can ride the bus for free! We got off the wrong way and didn't have to worry about getting the wrong ticket or having to buy a new ticket.

Aqua hotel has very friendly staff that make one feel at home and offers a kids friendly environment. They offer a very good breakfast buffet with a lot variety (including avocados every morning!). The bus connection is great and the hotel gives a complementary transport card for public transport. I also liked the apple-basil tea always available at the entry pouch. There’s a lot of activities to do in the area and the hotel provides you a list for reference. I recommend this hotel.

Great accommodation! Really deserves more stars. The employees are really very friendly and open. I remember the employees Gülşen and Can (hope I remembered their names correctly) as particularly friendly. The loving design and the small, sweet decorative details are absolutely adorable :D What really surprised me positively were the Turkish dishes (sigara böreği, mercimek köftesi, menemen) at the breakfast buffet. The room is well maintained and also has lovely little water-themed details :) PS: they have a Samsung Smart TV in the room :D Awesome!

The reception was very friendly. We immediately felt comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was very tasty. The hotel is located a little outside the center, but you can quickly get to the city center by bus.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, great reception and very loving furnishings and good connections to public transport. Bed very comfortable and the pillows are also very good. Breakfast was my highlight. Fresh rolls and bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly prepared fruit salad and much more.

This hotel is highly recommended. The staff is very nice. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is a huge selection and everything is beautifully presented. What I found very good was that there was a voucher for local transport.

The rooms are nicely decorated. I was happy about the shampoo from Rituals. Like this very much. Very friendly staff and super nice service - everyone has an eye on the guest. Small requests are taken into account immediately. I wish the hotel and the family all the best.

We are coming back to the Aqua Hotel for the 3rd time and we love the place, the reception team and the restaurant. It is a family hotel, the breakfasts are varied and very complete. We are close to the city and train station of Peterhausen. The rooms are spacious and the decor immerses us in a vacation atmosphere. The restaurant is very vegetated and the buffets are regularly restocked.

Absolutely brilliant hotel! The staff was very nice and helpful. The furnishings in the room and throughout the hotel are great, you immediately feel at home. The rooms are spacious and have a refrigerator with water. The beds are comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was very good, the Rituals products in the bathroom were an extra plus. The old town of Konstanz can be easily reached with the free bus. The breakfast buffet is incredible - we have rarely seen such a fantastic buffet in a hotel! Thank you very much to the whole team!! We'd love to come back :-)

Very friendly staff and breakfast for connoisseurs!

I definitely don't recommend it! Firstly, the hotel only provides water. Secondly, there is no insulation in the rooms, we heard the neighbor's moans until the morning. Thirdly, I don't know why the rooms are cool. I'm sorry, but even €63 is too much! How about your rooms without soundproofing? It shouldn't be difficult to put two Cokes in the fridge! Even if you have a dust allergy, you should stay away from curtains!

Excellently run hotel with a family atmosphere and great breakfast.

The Aqua Hotel is an owner-managed and very nicely (harmoniously) furnished budget hotel with a gigantic breakfast. The Aqua Hotel is within walking distance of bus and train stops near Konstanz's old town. The fact that the building was an office building and is located in the middle of an industrial area is one star less for the location, otherwise you enter through the hotel door into a very warm and pleasant hotel in which we as guests felt like guests and not just a number. Service and friendliness cannot be evaluated here because it goes without saying and everywhere and wishes are fulfilled... Holding the door open when your hands are full, heating milk for cocoa and very clean (and permanently employed?) house keeping makes the service come alive... The furnishings are of a good standard and with a few accents become something special... The beds are new, a little too soft (but that's personal taste, I prefer to lie very hard, I think the mattresses are average), there are feather pillows and a slightly harder small pillow and there is a large TV (which we didn't needed). The shower has a decent water flow, various massage modes and lots of hot water (even at peak times early in the morning). The breakfast at the Aqua Hotel is extremely (!) varied, relaxed and more than satisfying... Guest clientele are families and single/couple travelers, no "bachelor parties" and "school trips", therefore pleasantly quiet and bearable from the hustle and bustle... The owner family is approachable (at reception and breakfast service) and exemplifies what makes the Aqua Hotel special. We will recommend Aqua Hotel and use it again when the opportunity arises.

An old factory that was turned into a hotel. Very good renovation, calmness, comfortable mattresses, fridge, rich breakfast. Only one elevator though. No external lights to locate.

The furnishings in the rooms are ideal for families. Everything was clean and cozy. The interaction between the employees and the guests is very familiar and friendly. Just like 11 years ago, we left with a positive feeling and will definitely recommend you. We also had no problems with the wheelchair, thanks to the spacious rooms!

Very great hotel! Individually and lovingly designed. No matter where you look, beautiful decoration and details. Free refreshments in the lobby, books, magazines and games available to borrow. Nice music and a great smell in the lobby. Our room was beautiful, great decor with lovely details and even a Christmas present on the table. There were two bathrooms with Rituals products, the mattresses are awesome and so is the lighting concept. I particularly liked the smell in the stairwell. And then the breakfast and the breakfast room!!!! Mega selection and great products - very high quality and delicious. It's a family business and I think we've seen all the family members and everyone is super nice and eager to make the guests' stay enjoyable. Malte was our most important contact. From the first time we considered whether we should book this hotel in a special life situation, his friendly emails and his great willingness to help made us decide on this hotel and we didn't regret it. I can only recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel, lovingly furnished. Breakfast is simply fantastic - you definitely don't miss anything. We were thrilled.

There is a stop a few steps away from the hotel, from where all possible destinations can be reached quickly and easily, free of charge with the guest card. There is a paid parking lot at the hotel (€10 per day) and you can also park for free in the surrounding streets. The hotel building is a former factory hall, but in places it still retains a bit of “industrial charm”. But that doesn't detract from the great ambience, the premises and the rooms are tastefully furnished, and there are nice details to discover everywhere. Our room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and toilet were separate, great. A refrigerator with mineral water was available as well as an espresso machine, a safe and a very decent flat screen. All we would have liked here was a small cloakroom. The staff was always very warm and attentive. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding, the buffet leads into the kitchen and offers a wide selection of the most delicious dishes. We also recommend a visit to the hotel bar, where you can end the evening swinging in front of the bar or lounging on a sofa with delicious cocktails. Last but not least, the Hotel Aqua made our weekend in December 2024 a successful city trip to Konstanz.

We were positively, very surprised by this great, family-run hotel👌🏼 As soon as you walked in you felt welcome and at home. I had booked the junior suite, which was very tastefully furnished and also had an integrated infrared cabin. In the hotel bed we slept like we were on clouds. We were thrilled 🙏 The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Simply brilliant 🤗 Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We'll be back🙋🏼‍♀️

Very good hotel for a trip in beautiful Constane. Staff is very friendly and kind and the breakfast is amasing with many options. Additionally, the bar in the hotel is causy and the drinks very nice. The location is also very good for the buses to old town.

We stayed at the Aqua Hotel as a family for a short stay. Although we are often at the lake, it was our first time in this hotel. The entire booking process and communication was great. Emails are answered immediately. Online check-in is very convenient. Even on the way there we were contacted by cell phone asking whether there would be any changes to our arrival time. Top price performance. Very nice rooms, the whole hotel is very harmonious and beautifully designed. Super friendly staff from reception to bar/restaurant to cleaning staff. everything is great. Great breakfast buffet. I know that from 5 star hotels. Parking spaces in front of the house for 8 a night are completely within reason. A small drawback may be the lack of soundproofing in the house, but this is probably due to the origin of the building. The location is of course not 1a, but I can see that when I book and I have a choice. Free public transport on your doorstep with the Bodensee Card makes up for this and the parking options in Konstanz are not as bad as they are made out to be. If you don't let the outside impression put you off, you'll get your money's worth inside. We'd love to come back!!

The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and egg variants are prepared individually. Unlimited drinks. Cozy bar atmosphere in the evenings and very tasty homemade pizza on selected evenings. We'll be back.

We booked the hotel because of the very good reviews and are very satisfied. The first time in Konstanz and in this hotel, but certainly not the last. The room is very clean and modernly designed. The hotel gives you a feeling of being at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. GREAT😊

Price/performance ratio great. Very nice reception, very nice spacious rooms, good location at a top price. The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit too expensive, but still top rating.

When we arrived at the hotel we had to smile. From the outside it looked like a small company. But we were told that before we arrived. But when we went in we were so overwhelmed by how great and homey it was. The staff is simply great 👍♥️ the rooms are great 👍 very comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable 🙋‍♀️ the breakfast was amazing. We had never had a breakfast like this in any German hotel. We thought the location was great - a bit out of the way but in Konstanz it was quick and easy to get to by bus. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, the rooms were very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is very friendly - especially father and son.

Es ist sehr gemütlich hier und man geht auf die Wünsche des Gastes ein.

Zimmer gross und sauber. Allgemein, sehr schönes Ambiente! Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist der HIT! Sehr viel Auswahl! Einzig ist Wlan etwas problematisch. Man muss sich immer wieder neu einloggen und Telefonie mit Whatsapp funktioniert nicht. Parkplatz 6€. Wer das nicht zahlen möchte, hat es an der Strasse genug frei Parkplätze.

Wir waren für 3 Übernachtungen im Aqua. Hotel mit spezieller Einrichtung, passend zum Namen., und sehr sauber. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und das Angebot am Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Restaurant zum essen. Besonders der Zwiebelrostbraten ist sehr lecker.

Alles Bestens in diesem Hotel. Alles ist sauber , liebevoll und ideenreich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war der Hammer und das Personal wahnsinnig freundlich. Gerne jederzeit wieder.
