One of my favorite restaurants for good, home-style cooking!

From my perspective, the restaurant has some really great people working there. The service is simply superb, and I must say the food is great, there's plenty, and you'll definitely be full. I've never been there without having something to complain about, and the staff at the counter really work their heels off to satisfy the guests. Keep up the good work. A big thank you goes to a young man, a bit on the heavier and tattooed. His service is very fast, he's always in a good mood, and I've noticed that he's always very well-groomed. Thanks again to the whole team, and we'll definitely be back.

Nine months after Antoniushof’s golden, crispy pork haxe, I returned for the grilled fish that had tempted me before. Wonderfully cooked, tender, and served on perfectly salted spinach with a smooth butter sauce, it was brightened by a simple slice of lemon. Different from my first visit yet equally outstanding.

Cozy restaurant with classic German cuisine. The ambiance is rustic, clean, and very inviting. The service was super friendly and attentive. I had an onion schnitzel with fried potatoes, accompanied by a small appetizer salad with a delicious dressing. The schnitzel was freshly breaded, perfectly cooked, and very well seasoned. The fried potatoes were also very tasty and perfectly seasoned—everything was homemade and a generous portion. The price-performance ratio is excellent (€20.10 for the dish). I'll definitely be back when I'm in Düsseldorf. Highly recommended!

Our birthday boy got a free round of schnapps, and the owner himself had a great evening, too. It was fun, delicious, and if we ever come back to Düsseldorf, we'd be happy to stop by again.

On Wednesday evening, I had the pleasure of dining at Antoniushof … bei Alex in Düsseldorf together with four colleagues. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and immediately felt at ease. The atmosphere in the restaurant is charming and cozy, with a nice mix of traditional and relaxed elements that make it perfect for both casual dinners and more special occasions. I chose the original schnitzel, and it did not disappoint. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden-brown crust that was full of flavor. The portion was generous, and the side dishes complemented the main course very well. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into the preparation. What truly stood out, besides the food, was the service. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but also very attentive throughout the evening. All in all, it was a lovely dining experience. It was sooooooo good. The staff was so friendly, I couldn't handle it. And then the main course arrived after 15 minutes. Unbelievable. I highly recommend the Antoniushof.

A very friendly team...sparkling clean kitchen, and truly delicious food that's worth every cent. I have a food truck nearby and I know the guys because they walk through my lot. Very friendly colleagues who, above all, know their stuff. Top-notch food, superb preparation, and the service seems to be top-notch there, too, judging by the reviews. All I can say is, keep it up, and hats off!

Me and my friends from the UK visited on our first evening in Düsseldorf and we loved the atmosphere here, the beer and food we were served was so good. After this we got talking to one of the waitresses who was so friendly with us, she sat down with us for a good while and we had such a fun conversation, she was beyond a delight to converse with and so funny and interesting. I told her we would be back before we leave as I hoped we could continue it but sadly we were unable to, if she sees this, get in touch! Otherwise, we plan to hopefully return someday. Highly recommend!

This was truly the best knuckle of pork I've had in Düsseldorf. It was very tender, had a crispy crust, and the cabbage and natoki were delicious. The service was super friendly and fast! I'll definitely be back!

Mediocre food; I definitely wouldn't recommend the asparagus soup. It was asparagus-flavored groats cooked with Mondamin. The prices were exorbitantly high. The service was very friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed. We waited over 20 minutes to place our order. It was worth the two stars, but we definitely won't be coming back.

It was a little louder, but still within limits and didn't spoil the overall positive experience. I was particularly impressed by the speed of the service, without it being rushed. To eat: I had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fried potatoes and salad. The portion was generous - it could easily have been shared. In terms of taste, everything was on point: the fried potatoes were perfectly fried, the schnitzel was wonderfully tender and the sauce was excellently seasoned. I will definitely come back – a place where you can feel completely at home.

We've eaten there a few times and EVERYTHING was really delicious! At Antoniushof... at Alex's you'll find home-style cooking "at its best". Great selection of dishes, including delicious fish dishes, large portions (so bring your appetite) and super friendly and attentive staff. For a birthday party they had specially prepared a larger table for us with a greeting card and nicely folded napkins. That was a great surprise. Reservations are absolutely necessary as the restaurant is always very busy.

The food is incredibly good and all the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The chef is really excellent Once we were even allowed to try something from the chef himself to taste it.

Went there with a group, all the food, except mine, was good to very good. I had mussels “Rhenish style” and they only deserve one star. They were offered with one kilo on the menu. Many mussels were empty or broken, so you always had to be careful not to have any shells in your mouth. Furthermore, the quality of the mussels was very poor, they were very, very small. I can get better ones at Aldi for €3.99 a kilo. (Note for the host 😉) And they are better and bigger. In addition, you had to pay extra for the black bread. Which is steep at a price of over 20 euros. Conclusion: Happy again at any time, service great, but for me everything else but no more mussels.

We had our Christmas party there with 28 people because we have known the store for a long time. It was beautifully decorated, the service was great, and the food was really tasty. Have eaten there several times and it has always been delicious. You can also enjoy the delicious Schlüssel Alt or something from the wine list...the people there are all incredibly nice and attentive and you are also welcome with a dog. The mix of traditional pub, modern elements, art on the walls is also very cozy... and the whole thing in a relaxed atmosphere... we like going there...
