Wir kommen ja immer wieder gerne zum Alwx und seinem gesamten Team. Die Auswahl an speisen und Getränken zu guten Preisen ist hervorragend. Zur eh schon sehr umfangreichen Speisekarte gibt es immer wechselnde Wochenkarten. Jeder der gute leckere Gerichte mag und dazu auch Weine, Longdrinks oder ein traditionelles Alt ist hier bestens aufgehoben

From my perspective, the restaurant has some really great people working there. The service is simply superb, and I must say the food is great, there's plenty, and you'll definitely be full. I've never been there without having something to complain about, and the staff at the counter really work their heels off to satisfy the guests. Keep up the good work. A big thank you goes to a young man, a bit on the heavier and tattooed. His service is very fast, he's always in a good mood, and I've noticed that he's always very well-groomed. Nine months after Antoniushof’s golden, crispy pork haxe, I returned for the grilled fish that had tempted me before. Wonderfully cooked, tender, and served on perfectly salted spinach with a smooth butter sauce, it was brightened by a simple slice of lemon. Different from my first visit yet equally outstanding.

Cozy restaurant with classic German cuisine. The ambiance is rustic, clean, and very inviting. The service was super friendly and attentive. I had an onion schnitzel with fried potatoes, accompanied by a small appetizer salad with a delicious dressing. The schnitzel was freshly breaded, perfectly cooked, and very well seasoned. The fried potatoes were also very tasty and perfectly seasoned—everything was homemade and a generous portion. The price-performance ratio is excellent (€20.10 for the dish). I'll definitely be back when I'm in Düsseldorf. Highly recommended!

Wir kommen schon seit sehr langer Zeit und waren immer hoch zufrieden. Bei unseren letzten beiden Besuchen lag das Niveau der Qualität des Essens unter dem vorherigen Standard. Gestern Abend war das Roastbeef z.B. nicht rosa gebraten, sondern durch und relativ trocken, dazu eine kleine Portion Bratkartoffeln, die weich und kaum knusprig waren. Der Beilagensalat war in Ordnung. Aber für den Preis von 24€ ingesamt eine schwache Leistung. Ich hoffe das frühere Niveau wird wieder erreicht werden.

The restaurant is quaint and the service was very friendly. The dishes aren't too expensive. The price per person was only high for us because we had several drinks. Our birthday boy got a free round of schnapps, and the owner himself had a great evening, too. It was fun, delicious, and if we ever come back to Düsseldorf, we'd be happy to stop by again.

A very friendly team...sparkling clean kitchen, and truly delicious food that's worth every cent. I have a food truck nearby and I know the guys because they walk through my lot. Very friendly colleagues who, above all, know their stuff. Top-notch food, superb preparation, and the service seems to be top-notch there, too, judging by the reviews. Me and my friends from the UK visited on our first evening in Düsseldorf and we loved the atmosphere here, the beer and food we were served was so good. After this we got talking to one of the waitresses who was so friendly with us, she sat down with us for a good while and we had such a fun conversation, she was beyond a delight to converse with and so funny and interesting. I told her we would be back before we leave as I hoped we could continue it but sadly we were unable to, if she sees this, get in touch! Otherwise, we plan to hopefully return someday. Highly recommend!

This was truly the best knuckle of pork I've had in Düsseldorf. It was very tender, had a crispy crust, and the cabbage and natoki were delicious. The service was super friendly and fast! I'll definitely be back!

Mediocre food; I definitely wouldn't recommend the asparagus soup. It was asparagus-flavored groats cooked with Mondamin. The prices were exorbitantly high. The service was very friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed. We waited over 20 minutes to place our order. It was worth the two stars, but we definitely won't be coming back.

To eat: I had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fried potatoes and salad. The portion was generous - it could easily have been shared. In terms of taste, everything was on point: the fried potatoes were perfectly fried, the schnitzel was wonderfully tender and the sauce was excellently seasoned. Und zu einem tollen Abend, der es war, hat die Servicekraft die wir hatten in hohem Maße zu beigetragen. Zuvorkommend, Aufmerksam und sehr sehr nett und freundlich. We've eaten there a few times and EVERYTHING was really delicious! At Antoniushof... at Alex's you'll find home-style cooking "at its best". Great selection of dishes, including delicious fish dishes, large portions (so bring your appetite) and super friendly and attentive staff. For a birthday party they had specially prepared a larger table for us with a greeting card and nicely folded napkins. That was a great surprise. Reservations are absolutely necessary as the restaurant is always very busy.
