Very tasty purely vegan restaurant. The food seems very fresh and is quickly brought to you in pretty dishes after you order. The service is friendly. The ambience is ok but nothing special. The food is SOOO good. Service is discreetly and on point and neither too much nor too unobservant. One of the best place in Berlin.

It's great, the best vegan in the neighborhood. Completely inconspicuous in terms of ambience, but the friendliest service, so warm and familiar and the food is plentiful, culinary, spicy and so fresh! The mango lassi is the best, every dish is consistently very good, I try my way through the menu and find everything really good... I had to do this review, my first! Authentic!!

We ate here quite early, various vegetarian options, super fresh and delicious. They also do takeout and delivery. It was nice and spicy, friendly service, if this place were in Amsterdam, it would be guaranteed to be packed every evening. I say, worth a detour.

One of my favorite places in Berlin! The food is always excellent, whenever I have guests coming to visit, I take them there and they are absolutely impressed by how good everything is! My favorite dishes are Bun Xa Ot and Pho, but I can recommend almost everything.

The food is really amazing! Below you can see the homemade vegan meat substitute (number 24) and it really tastes sooo good! Meat eaters were also convinced. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty and there were a lot of things that you don't find on every standard menu. 100% recommendation!

Price-performance ratio is great and everything is vegan. The mango lassi and the udon dishes are highly recommended. I deducted one star for service because you could only pay in cash (I'm not sure if this is just temporary).

We visit the restaurant regularly and we have never been disappointed. The food is super delicious, especially the appetizer platter and the sushi! I'm not vegan myself, but it's still a delicious change. The staff is friendly and accommodating. But the location is on a fairly busy street. Overall a very great restaurant!!

Nice place, all vegan Vietnamese food! I really liked that they offer 3 different proteins with each dish, all of them vegan. My dish was a bit too salty, except that very tasty. I really liked the vegan pork belly texture and taste. The service is really nice, it’s a very relaxed atmosphere despite being on the busy Dantziger Strasse.

I go to Anh Dao whenever I'm in the neighborhood. It's a great place to have Indo-Chinese cuisine that is also vegan. The staff is polite and the atmosphere is good as well. Definitely recommended.

After a long afternoon visiting Maurepark on a Sunday, we settled on getting a quick bite at Anh Dao. Their (albeit shabby) awning plainly states “vegan restaurant” so we were all in… Upon arriving we were the only guests in the restaurant & quickly ordered two coconut-pineapple-mint drinks, which were delicious! Our very friendly server took our order for two coconut curries with the house-made vegan meat & the entrees arrived in a very short lapse of time. The entrees were a bit of a dud, aesthetically appetizing but both the coconut broth & the house made meat left an awful lot to be desired. The faux-meat was a little rubbery & liquified in the middle & the coconut broth was overly rich with a bit of an off aftertaste, both my partner & I agreed. I feel bad giving 3/5 stars, but with so much competition for SE Asian vegan in Berlin, we expect the quality of Mom’s Creation or Chay Village when sitting for dinner. That said - this review is based only on two dishes & I’m sure their extensive menu has a lot more to be explored, so don’t let this throw you off. The service was top notch & friendly & the prices were reasonable!

Our favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine for years. Very tasty food at good prices. Addendum to the post from 11 months ago: The menu has been reduced to the minimum, which is a shame because our favorite dishes are gone. I also think that the food tastes better on some days than others.

Absolute disaster and very rude owner

Very tasty vegan food, especially the homemade meat substitute.

This place used to have amazing tasting food but there has been a noticeable decline in quality. One dish I used to go there for has been taken off the menu and the other has been changed and doesn’t taste like the original at all anymore. Today we felt disappointed with our food although it was still edible - just incredibly average at best. The restaurant smells like water damage and mildew, which is unfortunate, especially for those with a more sensitive nose. Plus goes for the service, which we didn’t have an issue with.

The food was tasty, but nothing special. The prices are far higher than in the photos of the map that can be found on Maps. In general I found the prices to be too high for what you got Payment is cash only!

The food is always delicious, fresh and plentiful. Especially WITHOUT glutamate, which is otherwise very difficult to find. The owners are very friendly and we have enjoyed coming here for years. Since the card change, the prices are still good and the food is even better. Unfortunately no more sushi 😢, but luckily there are plenty of other delicious things on the menu. I can only recommend everyone to eat here!

Nur Bar Zahlung möglich! Mega gutes solides Essen! Große Auswahl an verschiedenen Kombinationen, manche Nudeln etwas fettig. Alles vegan! Sehr preiswert und lecker. Alle freundlich, alles sauber. Genug Platz und auch kurzfristig ein Tisch. Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung hat in der letzten Zeit etwas abgenommen, mussten selbst zum Theresen gehen um noch ein Getränk zu bestellen und um zu bezahlen.

Waren letzte Woche die ersten Gäste des Tages und es gab eine neue Karte, weshalb es etwas gedauert hat, bis wir unser Essen hatten. Dafür war es wirklich sehr lecker, die Udon Bowl mit vegetarischem (oder veganem?) Hähnchen war super gut.

Such a great restaurant! Came alone on my way home and was the only one in there. The service was perfect, food came quick, food was extremely yummy, and amazing prices. I only paid 13€ for a great drink and a big meal. Definitely recommend (just be sure to bring cash since they don’t take card- there’s an ATM right next door)

Great place and very nice staff. It’s better than the average Vietnamese place in Berlin, has a different atmosphere and the dishes are slightly better than the (already good) typical vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. And the prices are not over the top. Recommended also for a big dinner out, with many friends or familiars, as the atmosphere fits it and the tables are mostly very long.

Fantastic! Both the sushi and fried rice noodles that we had were soooo good! Yum. 12/10, definitely recommended!

Amazingly delicious food and I will definitely return if I come to Berlin again! The dessert (with banana) was my personal favorite and an all time new favorite for me. The staff was sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Ich war so krass positiv überrascht, es war derart lecker, hatte ein Curry mit " Ente " vorab Sushi und hinterher Banane im Reismantel. So gut habe ich komplett vegan vorher noch nie gegessen. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Berlin Besuch. Und auch wichtig zu erwähnen, die Freundliche Art vom Personal, danke für diesen schönen Abend.

Food was amazing at good prices and I lovely medium building

I love this little gem. It’s a gem because I always get a seat here and the kindness from the service is contagious, and most importantly, the food is always delicious. They have certain dishes (banh cuon) that some places don’t have and me being Vietnamese myself and vegan, it’s really feels like being at home. Ending it with Vietnamese coffee is the best with their cute coffee cups.

Excellent place serving tasty vegan food in Berlin. Was there on an assignment for about a fortnight. Visited the place a few times since I was staying a few blocks away. Also would like to specially mention the Vietnamese lady at the restaurant who was extremely cheerful and hospitable and could observe that she was hard working too. Great experience.

Delicious vegan sushi! Menu is entirely vegetarian and vegan. Portions for the sushi are a bit small, however these sizes are very justifiable as it is affordable. Prices are definitely student friendly! Drinks are homemade and also very delicious.

A nice vegan Asian fusion restaurant. The rice bowl with dumplings was very filling and so was the noodle soup. Vegan sushi with crab meat was also tasty.

למסעדה הזו הגענו במקרה לחלוטין כי מסעדה אחרת באזור, שתכננו להגיע אליה כבר כמה חודשים, היתה עמוסה מיידי (תזמינו מקומות מראש) ודווקא במסעדה הזו היה מקום, באתי מאוכזב למסעדה הזו אבל מהר מאד מצב הרוח שלי עלה כי מדובר במסעדה נהדרת, האוכל הגיע בזמן, בחיוך, בכלל לא יקר, איכות גבוהה של השקעה, ואפילו משחק מונדיאל שמוקרן על מסך ענק מולי. המסעדה היא ויאטנמית 100% טבעונית. הזמנו את מנת המנגו קארי לאשתי, היה לה נחמד מאד, לא שגרתי וסה"כ טעים, ולי את המנה הסופר מיוחדת Ca Kho שזה תבשיל קארי שכזה עם פלחי בננה ירוקה, שיש להם טקסטורה מעניינת, מצד אחד הם קשים ומצד שני הם נימוחים כמו חמאה וטעמם נפלא. מזכיר קצת תפוח אדמה עשוי מעולה. חלקנו עוד מנה ענקית שבעצם מהווה "לקט" מכלל המנות פתיחה במסעדה שרובן היו ממש טובות ואני לא זוכר את שמן אך שם המנה הוא Goi Cuon ולצד כל זה יין אדום ולאסי אננס. היה ערב מעולה וארוחה טעימה ומיוחדת. הקינוח עם הבננות לא משהו. על כל היתר אני ממליץ.
