Shibu Vegan in Berlin

The "vegan" restaurant is simply an additional vegan menu. What I noticed, however, is that the dishes on the vegan menu are more expensive than on the "regular" menu, even though they're the same. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable.

I ordered through Uber Eats. The place claims to be entirely vegan, but there was an octopus tentacle in my tempura?! How can something like that happen in a vegan restaurant? I mean, those things shouldn't even be in the kitchen! Unbelievably disgusting!!!

I'm so disgusted!!!! We ordered "VEGAN" from Shibu via Uber Eats, and there was simply a piece of octopus in our meal. For people who eat vegan and consciously order or eat at a restaurant that is purely vegan, this is absolutely unacceptable, disappointing, and disgusting! If something like this happens in a mixed restaurant, it's not nice either, but at least it's more understandable. However, this should never happen in a purely vegan restaurant. As a guest, I want to feel safe and be able to eat relaxed without having to worry about animal products ending up in the dish, especially when I go to or order from a purely vegan restaurant. The tempura was also absolutely not good; I've never seen such sad tempura. If you have fish and/or meat on your menu, go for it, but don't call yourself a vegan restaurant!!! Very disappointing and unfortunately not trustworthy at all.

The website and domain name state that the restaurant is vegan. However, they offer meat and fish dishes. When I asked, they couldn't explain this. Very disappointing for me, as we had made the trip especially for this restaurant but didn't eat there.

Ordered online and the food was really nice - loved the yasai yaki udon!! And good maki

Ordered through Wolt. Unfortunately, almost all of the maki were topped with fish eggs (fish roe) – a pretty serious mistake for a purely vegan restaurant. When I contacted the phone number provided, they couldn't provide an explanation. This can be extremely dangerous for those with allergies. Please be careful!

I ordered sushi and mochi through Wolt, but unfortunately, the food was inedible. One piece of asparagus was unfortunately very hard – it was the bottom end, which you don't normally eat. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Worst experience ever. I’ve never been so disrespected in a restaurant before. And the food is not vegan, they brought my dish wrong twice, with chicken in it. In the end, I was there for almost two hours and didn't eat. And I even had to pay 8 euros for a dessert with ice cream that I told them to come after the main dish and it came at the same time. The ice cream melted and I didn't get my meal right. Don’t recommend at all.

We actually didn't end up eating here. Came because the name of the restaurant on Google Maps is "Shibu Vegan" but it is ABSOLUTELY NOT a vegan restaurant. Most of the menu is fish and meat. Yes there are some vegan options - but the whole point of going to a Vegan restaurant is that you don't have to worry about whether the item you select might have some animal products in it. In fact, this is a weird maps entry as the restaurant is actually called 26 Shibuya and has its own listing. It's as though the owners are trying to lure extra vegan customers through their doors.

Not an exclusively vegan restaurant! The company name has basically been made up by the restaurant ‘26 Shibuya’. The images you see are of the generic non-vegan restaurant (no vegan salmon sashimi here y’all!) We still ate here though, as we’d made a pilgrimage to it in the rain and were hungryyy. We arrived at 9:45pm and were told we only had about half an hour before they shut (even though closing time is stated as 11pm). Having said all of the above, the sushi was actually very nice, albeit your standard veggie avo and cucumber maki. There were other veggie options, but they included mayo.

Correct, but this is not a vegan restaurant. It's a vegan square in an omnivore restaurant, which is misleading when presented like that. The waiter brought me honey with my tea, luckily it was written on it but it shows that they clearly don't know anything about it or at least that the staff is not trained.

This is not a real vegan restaurant just a separate menu, made a trip across town to see it. Looking at all the reviews it looks like they have paid for most of them to give it a good rating 👎🏻

Had to wait forever and got the wrong thing, food was ok.

Bei der letzten Bestellung wurde einfach die Hälfte des Inhalts der Rollen weggelassen. Die Avocado Roll ohne Kampyo und Mayo war dann halt nur Salat mit Reis. Dafür 13,50€ zu verlangen und einfach die geschmackstragenden Zutaten wegzulassen ist dreist. Auch bei der Horneso Roll wurde einfach kommentarlos der Frischkäse weggelassen. Auf Rückfrage von Wolt wurde vonseiten des Restaurants nicht reagiert. Nicht zu empfehlen!

This restaurant is in the same location as 26 Shibuya. When you arrive, simply ask for the vegan menu. We ordered the vegan sushi tasting plate to share and I have to say it was without a doubt the best vegan sushi I have ever eaten. I still think about it! All the ingredients were delicious and we didn't fall for the usual clichés of vegan sushi: the pieces very cleverly used different vegetables and cuts and combined different flavors and dressings, so that each piece tasted really different. The place was beautiful and our waiter very attentive. Highly recommended!

Bei Lieferando bestellt. Sushi war ganz gut, aber für den Preis keineswegs geschmacklich angemessen. 50 Euro für zwei Personen und die Menge glich einer Vorspeise. Mussten uns danach noch Brot machen um satt zu werden. Bei einer Roll hat die Mayo gefehlt, bei einer anderen der vegane Frischkäse. Die Gyozas haben geschmeckt als wenn sie aus einer Fritteuse mit altem tierischen Fett kommen. Bei der Bestellung wurde darum gebeten, dass kein Besteck mitgeliefert wird. Enthalten waren trotzdem Stäbchen. Die Menge an Ingwer war in Relation zum Sushi viel zu wenig. Diese Ghostkitchen gehört zu einem Restaurant, das auch Fisch verkauft. Sollte man wissen, denke ich. Werden hier nicht mehr bestellen. Wenn veganes Sushi in Berlin, dann Secret Garden oder Tiger Club.
