It's great that there are gluten-free pizzas here. It's just a shame that they are so much more expensive But otherwise everything is great

The location is great, you feel comfortable, the service is great, everyone is very nice and no matter what you order, it tastes great! My favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf!

We were at this restaurant with six people last night and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We arrived at 7:50 p.m. and didn't receive our first drinks until 8:30 p.m. - a 40 minute wait that is completely unacceptable. The food took even longer to arrive. It wasn't served until 10:15 p.m., even though we asked politely several times. Instead of an honest answer or an apology, we were increasingly ignored, apparently out of fear of always being asked the same question: “When is our food coming?” What was particularly annoying was that one dish was completely forgotten and never delivered until the end. Here too there was no apology or accommodation from the staff. Additionally, there were health complaints among those in our group who ate the lasagna and carbonara, massive stomach aches. This raises questions about the quality and freshness of the food. All in all, our visit was a complete disappointment. We have rarely encountered such poor service and lack of customer friendliness. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances.

Angelo, you are and will always be the best!!!!Excellent. Always happy to come here every year. The food is without words. A lot is written. Everyone has an opinion and everyone's taste is different. That's why, and especially here, you have to go by in person, order what you like, try it and then comment. You will be surprised at how delicious every dish is here. If you don't like it, fine. Then it is the same. But the fact is that this location doesn't deserve any negative comments. If you like, McDonald's is not far, for those who don't know any better or simply have no idea what good quality Italian food is.

A real Italian restaurant "on the corner" on the edge of Düsseldorf's old town. The menu is authentic, the dishes are delicious and the service is friendly and attentive. -- Clear recommendation!

Pizza was ok but I was extremely dissatisfied with the uncomprehending waiters. With me no more, thanks for nothing.

Today we ate at Angelo Trattoria & Bar for the first time. Unfortunately we initially had to wait 15 minutes until we received a menu. The food we ordered was great, but unfortunately the service wasn't interested in us. When ordering I asked if I could get hot sauce with my pizza. When I got the pizza and there was no hot sauce, I asked again if I could get hot sauce for the pizza. After 5 minutes I asked another waiter and he assured me that I would get hot sauce. Unfortunately, after asking several times, I didn't receive it. It could happen, but the store wasn't that full! We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink, even though we all had empty glasses. Food was great, service was unfortunately flop!

Attentive service and delicious food. Portions are adequate, only the carbonara was a bit too salty, the rest was good.

Incredibly delicious food, many gluten-free variants including the gluten-free pizza is the best in Düsseldorf! What you should definitely try is the sweet potato carpaccio, which is really incredibly good

Today we ordered via Ubereats from the store listed above. I would like to give a zero star rating. What was delivered to us cannot be described as food. Everything was completely inedible; after trying it once, we threw it straight into the bin. It's sad that places like this are still allowed to exist in this day and age.

I've never seen pizza with leaf lettuce...according to the description it was supposed to be arugula. Waiting for 1.5 hours is such an impudence.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere with pleasant atmospheric music. Pizza is excellent, pasta and lasagne are great! Just a small note: the lasagna is Sicilian style, including ham and egg. Tasty - but surprising 😄

We were there with 14 people, had 12 different dishes and yet everything was served at the same time, hot and correctly. We were thrilled as always. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. Gladly again and again.

I ate at Angelo's twice last week and unfortunately had to return the food. Apparently it was because a new chef had made my meal. Angelo was at the stove for the last two days and it was fantastic. Today I spontaneously went to Angelo's again with 7 friends and it was so delicious. Whether it's the pizza or the mussels... Angelo is simply the best chef here and in our district.

The service was very friendly and the food was also very tasty. We discovered this restaurant by chance and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I can only recommend it!

The first picture is feedback from a guest from a year ago. The second picture shows the food I received. 🤔🤌🤌🤌 The food was delicious but the service and wait time were terrible! We arrived around 7:30pm and had to wait a whole 2 hours! What's incredible is that the male bartender didn't see this as a problem and claimed we had only waited 30 minutes. This is complete nonsense! 🤌🤌🤌I specifically checked the reviews and photos on Google Maps when ordering and took screenshots showing the time at 7:30 p.m. At the end the bartender also asked us: “Are you eating now or not?” If not, you still have to pay!” Particularly unfriendly! A friendly couple at the next table couldn't watch it anymore and helped us push the staff. After about an hour we still hadn't received any drinks! My colleagues and I have been here several times, but the food is always slower and the service is increasingly impatient. I am currently looking for ways to file a complaint. Delicious food but terrible staff!

There was really really good gluten-free pasta! I'll try the gluten-free pizza next time!

Unbelievable what happened yesterday. When we arrived there were 2 tables occupied. After 10 minutes we finally got the menu. The waiter seemed motivated but very unprofessional. We ordered a salad in advance which was brought after 30 minutes (!). A second pilsner was never brought and after we waited over an hour for our pizzas I asked for the boss. I politely asked why, for example, the table next to us had already had the main course, even though it came after us. Answer: Something went wrong. We agreed that I would pay for what we had consumed, i.e. two pilsners and a mixed salad, and we left the restaurant hungry after more than two hours. Yes, there was a wedding reception that evening in the next room, but that is no reason to keep guests waiting for over 2 hours.

Die Getränke waren schön kalt. Die Pizzen (7 Stück) wurden zeitgleich an den Tisch gebracht und waren Heiß und Knusprig. Die Bedienung war sehr Freundlich und das Restaurant ist sehr Kinder freundlich. Für ein Essen mit Kleineren Kindern zu empfehlen. Das Essen im Allgemeinen war sehr gut

A very child-friendly restaurant. The food is very tasty. We ate here today with a total of 8 people (6 adults and two children). All dishes were brought to the table hot and crispy almost at the same time. The service is very quick and very good.Very generous portion sizes. There are games and drawing materials for the children.

Best gluten free pizza!! I found out about the trattoria by chance through Facebook. We flew on vacation from Düsseldorf. Since my husband has to live gluten-free, I wanted to make him happy with this. It was a complete success. We have never had such good gluten-free pizza anywhere! Hats off!!!

The first and last time. I was very happy to finally eat gluten-free pizza. After waiting for an hour, the waiter said the pizza would be coming soon. After 20 minutes, still nothing. I then decided to leave, the waiter wanted to give me my pizza - it was a completely different pizza. 1.5 hours for nothing. Out the door hungry. With a toddler who hadn't eaten anything either. Oh, and the store was only half full. Very disappointing.

Nice but slow service, we waited 1 hour for the food and unfortunately we didn't get the food at the same time, I've never experienced anything like that before. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

The rstaurant offers a very nice atmosphere, the food was simply very tasty, they also offer pizza and pasta in GLUTIN-FREE DOUGH!! , I tried it myself, it's just perfect, the staff in the kitchen pays a lot of attention to the contamination of glutin-free dough. Definitely our favorite Italian! The service is very attentive and friendly, the head waiter Mario is really great and knows better than me what wine I always drink there. Angelo and his team always cook delicious food! Price performance is very good. The changing dishes on the table are always seasonal, varied and creative!

Very friendly service and outstanding gluten-free pizza!

We've really enjoyed going here so far, especially because the owners were very nice and the food was of course good too. Plus point: gluten-free food! This is rare to find. But today we were even more disappointed than the last time we visited. We had to wait FOREVER: 1 hour 15 minutes to receive the cold starter and then another 45 to receive the pizza. When we commented on the long duration, we only received the explanation that they would also receive so many delivery orders. Of course, it's the owners' decision as to which customers they want to give priority to. The food itself today wasn't nearly as good as it was until the summer of 2023. Sometimes what we ordered didn't really come, sometimes... . in unsatisfactory quality. Apparently no new kitchen staff. Maybe the store only runs when the owners are in the house? That's really a pity.

I have eaten here twice. The first time I had the gluten-free bolognese and it was delicious. I had no issues so I felt like it was a celiac friendly meal. The second time I went I decided to try their famous gluten-free pizza. The pizza base is homemade and really good. The only downside is it's definitely not celiac friendly. I was really sick from that pizza and it definitely was gluten free, I could see it looked different to my husband's pizza and the waiter even said gluten free pizza when he put my dish infront of me. I just don't think they take the precautions to keep cross contamination to the minimum and I'm so sensitive to gluten so if you have celiac disease I would recommend skipping the pizza and just sticking to their gluten free pasta. Service was a little slow, we had to keep calling the waiter to get another drink. The food is very tasty and authentic.

We went to Angelo's for the first time last night and were thrilled by the delicious food. You have to bring some time with you because they are probably understaffed at the moment. But the wait was worth it! This was the best homemade gluten-free pizza I've had in a long time and my friend thought his pasta was excellent too. We'd love to come back!

Vorspeisenteller 0815...viel zu teuer für das was drauf ist. Null Vitello, Carpaccio oder sonst was. Nur eingelegtes Gemüse...rein vegetarisch. 0 Punkte Die Pizza...naja... Lieferdienst ok Nachtrag: Wer möchte schon eine Jumbo-Schale Vitello essen? Ich nicht! Viel zu teuer! Ich habe zuletzt bestellt, da waren Sie noch auf der Grafenberger Allee! Bestellt habe ich immer 1, 27, 40. Das was damals war, ist heute 100% nicht mehr so. Vielleicht liege ich falsch, wenn ich annehme, das es noch der gleiche Inhaber momentan ist, wie früher. Lange ist es her! Aber sich selbst so schlecht darzustellen was die Zubereitung eines Vitellos angeht (Kosten, Aufwand), empfinde ich mal für ein italienisches Restaurant als Armutszeugnis, wirklich! Früher war auch nicht viel mehr Vitello als wie eine Scheibe mit Soße auf der 40 (Vorspeise)...und es war völlig ausreichend! Gruß Achso: Ich denke ich gebe mir Mühe, und bewerte fair...und nicht immer schlecht ;-)

This place has TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve ordered a pizza and panna cotta via Uber Eats and the order was marked as delivered, even though it never arrived. I called both the Uber driver and the restaurant, and they were both rude, refused to help (the Uber driver even said he didn’t have any pizza) and refused to give me a refund. I will NEVER order from this place again. So if you’re looking for good quality service, this is not for you.

First and last time that we have ordered food here. Ordered few dishes through liferando and each of them was not exactly matching the description on , but pizza mortadela which was supposed to be made with Italian mortadela, but I got some small round pieces which doesn't look like mortadela but ok, maybe there are some types of mortadela that I am not aware of 😀. There was supposed to be as well burrata and rucola according to the description but no sign of any of them. I thought maybe there's some mistake happen and wanted to check with the restaurant but I got rude answer that I have chosen pizza only with mortadela and they have more options and of course I clicked something wrong 🤔. But on their website there is no at all pizza mortadela and on liferando only one which I have chosen. Nice customer service, NOT. Avoid this kind of places.

Ich habe am 29.07.2023 eine Pizza + Pizzabrötchen bestellt. Sowohl die Brötchen als auch die Pizza war mega lecker.

Всё было великолепно! Очень вкусная еда. Большие порции. Милые, приятные, вежливые официанты. Есть столики на улице. Быстрое обслуживание.

Bisher immer nur bestellt gehabt und nun auch mal vor Ort gegessen. Überraschend war alles lecker, was wir bestellt hatten. Wir bestellten Pizza, Pasta, Insalata und Dessert. Bekamen Bruschetta dazu. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Bei meinen Aufenthalt war genügend Personal vor Ort. Wartezeit war gering und uns wurden sogar die Getränke eingeschenkt. Das Einzige, was mich störte, war die zu laute Musik gegen Spätabend.

Ich war gestern in der Angelo Trattoria. Ich habe mir ein glutenfreie Pizza bestellt und bekam leider eine normale was ich erst später bis heute früh merke.Deswegen nur einen Stern fürs Essen obwohl es sehr lecker war.

Das Essen hat wirklich perfekt geschmeckt. Die Vorspeise, sowie Pizza waren gut vorbereitet. Schon lange nicht so gute Glutenfreie Pizza gegessen. Alles top 👌🏼

Pizza schmeckt nach Pappe, kommt kalt an und ist nicht mal geschnitten. Der Parmesan war definitiv geriebener RAND und hat nach nichts geschmeckt, wie alles andere auf dieser Pizza. Schlechter als bestellte Pizza ist eigentlich recht schwierig, aber hier wurde es wirklich getopt.. Knoblauchöl und scharfe Sauce liegen seit bestimmt Monaten draußen und schmecken nach vergammelten nichts. Und noch besser, es liegen Rapsöl und Essig aufm Tisch, nichtmal Olivenöl. Lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen, zu mindestens war der (leider sehr unfähige) Kellner nett..

Top Küche und Top Freundlichkeit! Den Laden mit so einer guten Atmosphäre zu füllen, trotz Stress auf Grund von Personalmangel, ist eine super Leistung. Einfach ein Glas Wein mehr trinken, dann vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug!

Ich war heute da und irgendwie hat sich alles geändert. Die Pizza war so dünn, es ähnelte einem Flammkuchen. Die Hälfte konnte ich nicht essen, weil es entweder abgebrochen oder verbrannt war. Der Parmesankäse auf der Pizza ist ein Witz. Fertig feriebener, nach Plastik schmeckender Käse. Die Nudelportion ist sie Hälfte vom letzten Jahr. Tagliatelle mit Lachs bestellt und da war Porree drin? Kann man das vllt. auch mal auf die Karte schreiben?

Wir sind da paar mal gewesen und sind nicht überzeugt. Personal sehr nett und freundliche Ambiente aber die Spaghetti Vongole waren einfach ohne Salz, die Wartezeit sehr lang und die Preise richtig hoch. Habe auch ein Aperol Spritz genommen für 8€ und war einfach oranges Wasser. Die Pizzen für die Kinder nur dezent. Schade!
