Das Ramen war köstlich, der Besitzer sehr freundlich und alle Angestellten sehr nett! 😆👍🏻

Was soll man sagen, waren die besten Ramen, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich hatte die Kokos-Curry Ramen und kann sie nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Zu dem ist es ein sehr süßer kleiner Laden, wo man genügend Sitzplätze hat. Ist ein Besuch wert!

Ein echter Geheimtipp! Ein nettes, kleines, aber sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit fantastischen Ramen und Poke Bowls. Geschmacklich perfekt, hohe Qualität.

Wir haben schnell einen Tisch bekommen, die Bedienung war auch schnell und freundlich und das wichtigste war natürlich das Essen! Sehr sehr gute Miso Ramen! Schön leicht, nicht zu schwer und angemessene Portion. Würde nochmal herkommen :)

Die Brühe ist OK. Die Nudeln sind definitiv keine Ramennudeln. Ich tippe auf einfache Spaghettini. Weißkohl finde ich ebenfalls unpassend, aber wer es mag 🤷‍♂️

Super cooler Laden mit tollem Personal und Besitzern. Freundlich, schnell und witzig. Ich habe sogar noch eine kleine Nachfüllung bekommen, nachdem ich gesagt hatte, dass ich noch etwas Hunger habe. Total nett! Die Satan Bowl ist superlecker und hat eine tolle Kombination an Toppings. Kleiner, gemütlicher Laden mit weiteren Sitzplätzen im hinteren Bereich. Sehr faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Super freundliches Personal und tolle Ramen! Das Katsu Curry und vor allem das Matcha Eis sind auch sehr zu empfehlen!

Kleines aber feines Restaurant versteckt in einer Seitenstraße. Super freundliches Personal. Als Vorspeise gab es einen traditionellen Wakame Salat und als Hauptgang Tantan Ramen. Es war einfach köstlich!!!

Die Ramenbrühe war versalzen und die Ramen waren verkocht.

Nichts Besonderes, kleine Portionen, ich werde anschließend zu Hause zu Abend essen.

Tonkotsu Ramen ist hier göttlich. So gut dass ich es immer wieder zu jeder Tageszeit mit Genuss essen würde. Grosse Klasse. Alles andere ist aber ebenso gut. 🤓

Insgesamt positives Erlebnis mit noch deutlich Luft nach oben. Toppings werden eher sparsam benutzt, es wurden bei mir sogar welche vergessen. Tonkotsubrühe war ausgewogen, Chashu war eine gute Portion, Nudeln mir persönlich zu weich, Onsen kann mehr Marinade vertragen. Portion eher für kleinen Hunger, bin nicht satt geworden.

Sehr süßes, kleines Restaurant mit sehr freundlichen Angestellten. Auch für Alleinreisende sehr zu empfehlen. Die Miso Ramen waren sehr gut!

War innerhalb von drei Tagen drei mal dort. Ramen schmeckt super, und vor allem der Mittagstisch punktet mit super Preisen und kostenlosem grünen Tee. Würde sofort wieder kommen wenn ich in Hamburg bin!

Sehr leckere Shoyu Ramen. Kräftige Basis und Leckeres Schweinefleisch, perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Extrem leckerer Apfel Spice Tee mit Orangen und Apfelstückchen, verfeinert mit Zimt. Sehr gemütliches und authentisches Ambiente ohne unnötigen Schnick Schnack, sehr gemütlich. Freundliche und unaufdringliche Bedienung. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden! Werde bei Gelegenheit definitiv wiederkommen!

Essen war teilweise gut, teilweise eher mäßig. Tee hatte komischen Nachgeschmack, irgendwie chemisch, schade. Ambiente eher lieblos und etwas unordentlich.

The Shoyu and Tantan ramens were excellent!!

Excellent food, very polite staff. Overall, really great. However, it's always a bit humid in the restaurant and there's a slight smell. Something should be done about that. But otherwise, highly recommended.

Yamato focuses on a few very good dishes. That's better than offering fifty mediocre dishes.

Excellent miso ramen! We went for dinner without reservation but found place right away. The place is cozy and the staff really friendly. They brought the drinks and food really fast. The ramen was delicious, with a lot of flavour and excellent ingredients. I’d love to come back if I’m ever in Hamburg again 🤩

I had a gyudon but it is not the type of gyudon you would expect from a real japanese place, it’s more a western taste adjusted creative mix, and the taste direction is also not so good. The service was really sweet though, so the cook should improve their recipes I think.

Unfortunately, the noodles weren't cooked all the way through. The staff member said they were "designed that way," but in reality, they were just a lump of raw dough. None of the fresh noodles I've ever eaten in Japan have ever been like that. We were very hungry, so we could have been happy with almost anything 😞 but it was still disappointing. The service was friendly, though.

The Tan Tan Ramen was particularly delicious, and it also has a great location and very friendly service. We'd be happy to come back.

We received a very attentive welcome and immediately felt at home. The gyozas, udon noodle soup, matcha ice cream, and the house's own ginger/lime/lemongrass tea were excellent and highly recommended. Everything was very fresh and lovingly prepared. Yamato is definitely worth a visit!

I stopped by for a quick lunch. The prices on their website must have been for delivery, because the actual menu prices were a pleasant surprise and much more reasonable. While ramen seems to be their specialty, I was craving rice so I ordered a poke bowl. The rice was a bit dry and mushy, but it was acceptable. The toppings were fine—nothing special, but a decent, standard bowl overall. What made it a good experience, though, was the free tea service (just like in Japan!) and the great price of around €10. You can't complain when you get a simple but satisfying meal at that price.

The interior was reminiscent of Japan and the staff were very friendly and attentive, and I could see they were eager to learn and strive to improve the taste of the food.

Saw some good reviews, so wanted to try it myself as well. Had the chicken gyoza and edamame to start (both very good), and then had the tonkotsu ramen. The chashu pork was very thin, and therefore lacked a bit of taste. Honestly, just make them twice as thick, it’ll already be so much better. But! The broth was amazing! It looked very thin, so I was a bit skeptical, but it was so rich in flavour!! Together with the noodles it was the perfect combo. Soulfood as it’s supposed to be!

Cute place with good options in the menu. Speedy service, you can sit inside or they also have a couple of cute tables outside. Clean flavours, nothing overpowering, and good quantity of food.

I'll start with the positive. I found the atmosphere quite cozy. The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. There was really delicious free green tea for every guest and a variety of hot sauces, but most of the bottles were almost empty. Of minor drawbacks: There's really little space between tables, which usually means the owners are trying to maximize profits by accommodating as many people as possible at once. However, it can also be a positive, as it means more people can sit at the same time and there's less waiting for a table. While the staff were friendly and answered all my questions, I was the first customer of the day and wasn't greeted after awkwardly standing in the entrance until I said hello myself. Even though I was the first customer, I still had to wait 15 minutes for my ramen, which is far too long for lunch. This could, of course, be due to the ramen being made with good ingredients, but the shop should have been a bit prepared, as I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen, which is a fan favorite. The ramen was quite tasty overall, especially the broth and noodles, but there was a bit too little meat (3 thin pieces) for €13. If I'm craving ramen after work, I might consider this restaurant, but unfortunately, it's not something I personally would frequent. I would still recommend trying it if you like ramen or udon.

Yamato Small, hidden restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. But nothing beats the broths. We had the pork bone broth and the roast pork broth. 10 out of 10! Very, very tasty. Since I was quite hungry, I also had a rice bowl with warm sushi rice, soy broth, and cold toppings. The combination was super delicious. We would love to come back and recommend Yamato to everyone! Thank you for your delicious food and warm hospitality.

I had the most amazing ramen in Hamburg! The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. It felt like a warm hug in a bowl. Definitely one of the best ramen spots I’ve tried outside of Japan

This is my last day in Hamburg and really wanted to try some ramen before leaving. So even if I have already had dinner elsewhere, I still visited this place because of its high rating on Google Maps, and thus, some expections. I will start by saying that the service and the chicken gyoza are good. However, as you can see from the photo, there’s a crack on the bowl, which I requested to replace and it was denied. For the safety of the customers and employees, I’m surprised that they still serve this bowl to people. Second, I don’t know if it’s the usual case or it’s just one incident — but some of the noodles were not even cooked through and still clinging together, as I could still taste the raw-ness. I really wanted to love this place as my trip in Hamburg has been really positive overall, but for this price I expect better quality than what I was served.

First ramen, and in such a pleasant and relaxing setting. The decor is a bit kitschy and unspectacular, but that's probably what creates this cozy, authentic atmosphere, along with the very friendly staff. I have no comparison in terms of taste, except for the edamame, which was solid, but the ramen was super delicious 😋 See you again 👋
