After a team outing a few days ago, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the Anderten beer garden. The beer garden is idyllically located on a sports field near the canal and offers a classic, relaxed beer garden atmosphere. There's plenty of space and opportunities for children to play. The food was a pleasant surprise: I haven't had such good fries in Hanover in a long time! According to the team, they're made from fresh potatoes, were wonderfully crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The burger was also a real highlight – the bun is particularly noteworthy, and the patty was grilled to perfection. They also offer a fantastic and diverse selection of drinks. The entire team there was extremely friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend the Anderten beer garden!

Certainly one of the best beer gardens in all of Hanover. They serve "Rubin" beer on tap, as well as high-quality liqueurs, and the ribs are simply to die for—the main reason we've become regulars here 🙂

We had a game against the Hannover Stampeders yesterday and went there for a nice meal after a shower. Their cheeseburger, in particular, is delicious! Very, very friendly and good service!

A beer garden that offers everything. So far we haven't gotten over the currywurst with fries :-) because it's so delicious. A cozy beer garden that invites you to relax. A clear recommendation for everyone who likes it a little quieter.

A quick stop during a bike ride along the canal. We had a Lillet, Corona, and Slushy, along with three bratwursts and fries... You want something spicy? You get it! Hot sauces that truly deserve their name are available upon request! But be careful, this is NOT for beginners 🌶️

A super-beautiful beer garden, delicious food and Danish soft ice cream, and a wide selection of drinks. Friendly staff who do everything they can to serve their guests. Comfortable seating, new, sturdy beer garden benches, and many covered seats, so even the light rain showers today didn't bother us. We had a wonderful "Father's Day" at the Anderter beer garden.

The owners and team think of everything and provide excellent advice on food choices, table layouts, decorations...and they are so warm and friendly. A beautiful beer garden with a relaxed atmosphere right on the Mittelland Canal. The ribs (with BBQ sauce) were incredibly delicious and fell off the bone just by looking at them. The burgers with wild herb salad are also highly recommended. Fair prices and super friendly staff round out the great overall experience!

I celebrated my birthday in the Anderten beer garden – a complete success! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and ideal, especially for families. The children had fun with the bouncy castle, sandpit and enough space to play football, while we adults were able to celebrate in a relaxed manner. A big thank you to the owners Sandra and Leif and the whole team – warm, attentive and well organized. Absolute recommendation for celebrations or a nice day in the countryside!

This is the second time we have had a family celebration here...first school enrollment, last Sunday communion. It was lovingly set and the food was great. We had a grill buffet and the service girls were really nice and quick. Gladly again.

We came by bike and were immediately warmly welcomed. The beer garden has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere - perfect for arriving and feeling good. The food was simply fantastic: the ribs were incredibly tender, the meat literally fell off the bone and was a real highlight in terms of taste. The Altbierbowle was also really tasty and went perfectly with the beautiful afternoon. We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and attentive staff who made our visit even more pleasant. We felt completely at home and would love to come back!

A private celebration was very successful, thanks to Sandra and Leif, who had great food and drink offers (all inclusive) and were very helpful throughout the evening, but also in preparation and follow-up. The location is highly recommended.

We received the gin tasting as a gift for Christmas. After a 1.5 hour journey we were warmly welcomed by an extremely friendly landlady. To start there was an aperitif with ginger - unusual but delicious. In addition to the gin, there was a really delicious meal - the foie gras alone justified the long journey. We learned a lot about gin, learned the background and tried six different varieties. Christian took us very competently into the world of gin. From our side it is clear that we will see this location more often from now on, we felt really comfortable

Stopped in there after a bike ride. Drinked and eaten well. Here the curry sauce is cooked in-house. Unusual but very tasty. Another currywurst at any time. We'll definitely be back.

The beer garden looks tidier after the realignment/renovation. If you are there with children, unlike before, there are unfortunately hardly any opportunities for the little ones to play. The beer garden is clearly aimed at adults. Unfortunately, a small sandpit is a bit disappointing, especially without seating for the parents. There is a large parking lot for this.

After we have the confirmation in May 2023 Anderter beer garden, we also celebrated school enrollment in the Anderter beer garden this year. We were 20 people. There was a lovely champagne reception, the table was lovingly set. The whole planning was very pleasant and was a lot of fun with a delicious Aperol in a nice atmosphere. Sandra and Leif are passionate about it. Our confirmation was really nice, and the school enrollment was also lovingly and beautifully organized. The buffet with delicious schnitzel, crusty roast, gratin, vegetables and delicious sauces followed by a delicious dessert was well received by all guests. We felt comfortable and will celebrate the next confirmation with Sandra and Leif in 2026. Until then, we will often pick up the delicious currywurst with fries to go and will definitely come by one or two summer evenings for an Aperol, gin or a soft drink. I would also be happy to paint again, which is also highly recommended. It should also be mentioned that there is something for everyone, whether vegetarian, vegan or even people with celiac disease will get their money's worth here. You can also buy great jams and the legendary sauce for the currywurst in the beer garden, a great gift or to snack on yourself. It's nice that there is a beer garden in our neighborhood again. All activities offered are organized and carried out with love. Whether it's ribs or goose, whether it's a nice evening painting or the wonderful Advent weekend where everyone gets their money's worth. We say thank you for all the love and effort you put in.

My truthful one! negative reviews are repeatedly deleted because of alleged defamation. Oof. Nowadays there isn't even anything specific about all the things that were unpleasant and unprofessional during my visits there. No matter how friendly and nice the owners appear to be when you first talk to them, in the end you come here for a service, not for wordy explanations about why something isn't there, why you came here in the first place, or isn't going, or isn't that good .

Finally enjoy good food in a beautiful atmosphere again. Very good starting point for bike tours and boules players.

A really nice beer garden with a great ambience and very nice hosts! What's particularly impressive to me is the large selection of vegetarian dishes - really great! Everyone really enjoyed the food, both with and without meat! The burgers in particular are recommended, simply unique!!! And the fries, just too good!! Plus a cool shandy on tap, it couldn't be better! There is a great play area for the kids. We'd love to come back! :)

🚨 Attention: My truthful, negative review was deleted by Google because of “defamation”! After my objection, Google released it again. Everyone can now think for themselves whether that speaks for the location. My friend's negative review should also be removed because of "defamation", so it's obviously not an isolated case... Here is my original, truthful review from the end of April 2024 - we'll be happy to see each other in court if the beer garden can't handle the truth: At first we were excited and hopeful when the beer garden opened. Unfortunately, he is now a disappointment. The menu, which was initially very small, has now effectively shrunk further; burgers were only available upon request (not at all on our last visits). So we actually only had the choice between bratwurst, currywurst and ribs (which are only available upon request!) or small kebab that you can also make at home in the oven. There was also cake on the menu now, which was supposed to be available on the weekend, which sounded promising. Asked about it on Saturday, the answer was: "Not done today, there will be tomorrow". So I was there again on Sunday, asked for cake and the answer was: "Couldn't make it today, sorry". We felt really fooled then. So it's not worth coming here for cake. If the menu is already tiny and only a few of the theoretically offered dishes are actually available, something is wrong - and if as a guest you can never be sure in advance which dishes will actually be offered today, disappointment is inevitable. Unfortunately, the ambience is no longer inviting and the whole area is becoming increasingly dilapidated. There are leaves and dirt everywhere, the tables are sticky, but no one cares about it. A waitress kept wiping his nose with his hand and then continued to serve - that's not possible. It's a shame, but you've lost us as guests.

We went there for the first time for a wine tasting. There was not only wine there but also a delicious buffet. Big praise to the chef at this point. The owner even sat down at our table at the end. It was a really successful evening. That's why we immediately signed up for the rib-filled meal. Well, what can I say, this evening was also really nice and very successful. The meat was super tender and fell off the ribs. The event was just as well organized as the first. This time too, the owner was so kind and sat down at our table for a moment. Long story short, they can't get rid of us. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to eating kale.
