Am Eck in Koblenz

Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Supposedly “beef rump” was so dry and gristly that you could hardly eat it. The dessert consisted of a ready-made product. Very unfortunate. However, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and the wine was good. Nevertheless, a unique visit for us.

I mean, on the day of the Eid holiday, I bought chickens with pumice, we gutted them, and packed them with garbage. The pumice was fried the day before, and the chicken was half cooked, and I paid 20 euros, which means tourist prices, and I hope it gets eaten.

Disappointing! We ordered a “salad and pizza deal” plus a drink – for a really high price. When the driver came, they suddenly said that the drink was no longer available because the “offer” had changed. Strangely enough, Lieferando still says that a drink is included. So we paid for it, but didn't get it. That doesn't work at all! And the food? Absolutely not worth 4.7 stars. The pizza was bland, the salad was bland - just not what you expect at these prices. Unfortunately not a recommendation!

The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. A perfect place for a relaxed dinner with friends or as a couple.

The last pub in Metternich-Oberdorf. Real old-school smoking bar as you know it from back in the day. Owned by older ladies from Metternich. The drinks prices are absolutely reasonable, and you can also purchase a few snacks such as chips and nuts. Unfortunately, you won't find a young audience here, but it's just the right place to listen to old stories from the past.
