We ate very tasty food. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was something different. The salad with the meal was very good.

Cozy atmosphere with loving details and funny delicacies on the walls. The warm host with his authentic manner ensures that you immediately feel welcome. The dishes are a culinary delight - cleverly prepared, with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. Absolutely recommended!

We had a delicious dinner there on Christmas Day. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the wall paintings are funny, complemented by real accessories such as small nets. There is also an inner courtyard for warmer times.

After our arrival we spontaneously went to eat at the Altes Reusenhus. Luckily the kitchen was still open and there was still a table available. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was rustic. The half-timbering was partly visible, which gave the whole thing a special charm.

My last visit to the Altes Reusenhus with my friend and her mother was a completely successful experience. The food was extremely tasty, the service was friendly, competent and accommodating. We particularly liked the attentiveness of the waitress, who made sure that we could eat together, even though my friend's mother had only ordered soup. The decoration of the restaurant was also very tasteful and created a pleasant atmosphere. I do have one small comment: the cola seemed slightly stale. For me it wasn't too bad, but it would be nice to pay attention to it next time. Unfortunately, no changes were possible for my dish, which I found a bit of a shame, but accepted - especially since the dish was really delicious. Thank you for the lovely evening – we’d love to come back!

An insider tip led us there. Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes to eat fish. Also very lovingly furnished rooms. Even fish sandwiches are sold outside.

Splendid. Located in a small alley and completely rustic. That's how I imagine it. The food is not hearty like in other inns where e.g. B. Onions can be caramelized. 🤦‍♂️🤢 I would definitely come back here again and again. 👌😋

Simply fantastic. This is how eating is fun. Even the music fits. You don't get too buzzed. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Eat like God in France. The Alte Reuse seems to me to be a real insider tip for gourmets. The food was exquisite, both in taste and presentation. The starter 'Zum Tütteln' with smoked salmon and caramelized carrots - simply divine. The chicken fillet on potato salad 'Tramper' and the 'Ebbe&Flut' with sour meat were excellent. If you are in Waren, you should definitely go to the 'Alte Reuse'. In addition to excellent food, the service is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. Anyone who complains should first do better themselves.

From the friendly and quick service to the really delicious food and the warm farewell - everything was right here. My wife's two zander fillets with jacket potatoes couldn't have been fresher or tastier. Dried capers on the herb quark tantalized the delighted taste buds - something different. We say thank you for a successful lunch break and look forward to seeing you again.

Meine Frau und ich hatten uns spontan für ein Mittagessen im "Alte Reusenhus" entschieden, was sonst nicht zu unserer Routine gehört. Vom freundlichen und zügigen Service über die wirklich leckeren Speisen bis hin zur warmherzigen Verabschiedung - es hat alles gestimmt. Selbst ein recht einfaches Gericht, wie mein Knusperschnitzel an lauwarmen Kartoffelsalat, hatte das gewisse Extra. So knusperte die Panade ohne zu Bröseln und der Kartoffelsalat glänzte mit einer Geschmackskomposition aus fein herbem Senf, salzig-sauren Gurken und frisch-erdigen Kartoffeln. Die beiden Zanderfilets an Pellkartoffeln meiner Frau hätte ebenfalls nicht frischer und leckerer sein können. Auf dem Kräuterquark reizten getrocknete Kapern die hocherfreuten Geschmacksknospen - mal was anderes. Wir sagen Dankeschön für eine gelungene Mittagspause und freuen uns auf das nächste Wiedersehen.

Exceptionally delicious food, creatively prepared with fresh ingredients. From the fish to the vegetables to the herb potato puree, everything was on point and very tasty. The salad plate with a modern variety of vegetables...pickled pumpkin, cucumber, radish with wakame was really a highlight. Thank you for a delicious evening in a cozy atmosphere.

Seven of us spontaneously stopped by the Altes Reusenhus in the late afternoon today. We give all 5 stars for food, service and ambience! It was a wonderful experience and we 100% recommend it to any undecided guests who want to eat well!

Service and atmosphere friendly and rustic. The food, however, was not very pleasant. Trout with lukewarm potato salad 🫣 Trout not crispy and dry. The potato salad consisted of thick potato/cucumber pieces with a sauce that took some getting used to and the “topping point” was blue-colored Spread popcorn over it 😱 the color then spread over the potato salad 😱 We hadn't ordered a children's plate or Smurf potato salad 😡

Wir waren zu zweit bereits im 19:50 Uhr nicht willkommen (geöffnet bis 21:00 Uhr) Nach einer Wartezeit im dunklen Eingangsbereich wurde uns unhöflich mitgeteilt, das im eher leeren Restaurant lediglich ein Tisch frei sei. Allerdings wurden wir freundlichst darauf hingewiesen das es dort immer furchtbar zieht… Wir haben verstanden und sind gegangen, über die Qualität des Essens können wir also nicht urteilen- wer weiß wofür es gut war.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Altes Reusenhus and had an excellent meal there. The food was sensational, a pure delight for the palate. Das Personal sehr freundlich und absolut Dienstleistungsorientiert. Großes Lob! Das Ambiente ist urgemütlich und stimmungsvoll. Die Speisen sind sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch ein wahrer Genuss! Ich habe in meinem Leben schon viele Salate in Restaurants gegessen, aber der hier ganz einfach als „Beilagensalat“ bezeichnete Gaumenschmaus hat alles übertroffen! Für mich ganz klar eine 11 von 10 😉.

We had a very tasty dinner here. The restaurant with a beer garden and tables in front of the house is rustically furnished (you can't get enough of the many details). There was also very good fish, which was wonderfully prepared. My only request: leave out the blue colored popcorn as decoration - it doesn't go well with your great food ;o). It's definitely worth walking the few steps away from the harbor.

Unfortunately, the trout didn't taste particularly fresh, was dry and, like the other fish (zander and catfish), wasn't fried well. The service was fine. For the price and the many good reviews, we would have expected something better. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Were there for the second time, the food is really great...you have to forgive the service for its Mecklenburger kopp, also the boss...are from MV themselves, that's why We can, but it's probably not for everyone...still, the food was very tasty, and there was also blue popcorn as decoration, we would go again.

Wir haben uns auf Grund der guten Bewertungen zu einem Abendessen verleiten lassen....und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Das Restaurant ist personell völlig unterbesetzt... Personal ist ständig genervt und reserviert. Das erklärt vieles aber nicht Alles. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, hat mitunter auch eine ziemlich seltsame Zusammenstellung. Völlig unerklärlich sind die seltsamen mit blauer Lebensmittelfarbe gefärbten Pop Korn die sich auf fast jedem Gericht befunden haben. Auch die Brotchips zum versalzenen Lachstatar sind schwer zu erklären. Fazit.... Lieber nicht noch einmal.

Tolles Ambiente im zweigeschossigen Lokal und im Garten. Kleine, aber feine Speisekarte mit regionalen Gerichten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We had dinner once for lunch and once for dinner. The dishes all tasted very good. The side salads were varied and some were aromatic. The service was friendly and the waiting time was kept to a reasonable level despite the full house. We'd love to come back!

As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and can fully recommend the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!

I think it's pretty cheeky to charge the same price for a chicken breast fillet as a side dish with a salad as for a pike-perch fillet! Otherwise, our two dishes were sophisticated, rather unusual or special. You have to like it! As a salad lover, it wasn't my case with the pickled vegetables in the salad. The service was very friendly.

Montag Abend sehr gut besucht in der Hauptsaison, wir hatten reserviert. Aufmerksam zu unserem kleinen Hund, Wasser angeboten. Wartezeit zur Vorspeise 50min, Hauptspeisen 40 min. Nach zwei Stunden war es echt zu lang insgesamt. Räucherforelle recht trocken, kaum von der Gräte zu bekommen. Remoulade und Kartoffeln-Gurkensalat sehr lecker! Gebratenes Forelle ebenfalls sehr fest an der Gräte. Wels und Zander waren sehr lecker, leider stark einseitig meliert, was nicht angegeben war. Gute Fass-Bier Auswahl. Service anfangs sehr freundlich und präsent, ab der Vorspeise war eher gestresst. Nettes, uriges Ambiente, gut ausgeleuchtet.

I love it. I don't need to say more. Children are given painting materials straight away. Despite the full hut, the service didn't show the stress. Keep it up.

We ate there with 8 people. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is fitting and nice. The fish dishes tasted good. The salad with scampi was nothing special and too expensive. There were three men with us who weren't satisfied with the portions.

We come to Waren from Havelland several times a year. We always go to eat at the Altes Reusenhus, we have already visited a few restaurants but in the Reusenhus we feel comfortable and always well served. The food was absolutely to our liking, always fresh and lovingly prepared. Price performance fits, service nice, courteous and friendly. Thank you 👍

We hadn't made a reservation for our second visit to the restaurant (Friday evening)... nevertheless we were taken to a nice spot in the beer garden. The menu is not large, but the food is great, a delight for the eyes and the palate. The service is super friendly. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back if we end up in the Müritz again...
