Altes Reusenhus in Waren (Müritz)

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundlicher Service, superleckeres Essen zu moderaten Preisen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Waren steht das Reusenhaus ganz oben!

Wir waren zu zweit bereits im 19:50 Uhr nicht willkommen (geöffnet bis 21:00 Uhr) Nach einer Wartezeit im dunklen Eingangsbereich wurde uns unhöflich mitgeteilt, das im eher leeren Restaurant lediglich ein Tisch frei sei. Allerdings wurden wir freundlichst darauf hingewiesen das es dort immer furchtbar zieht… Wir haben verstanden und sind gegangen, über die Qualität des Essens können wir also nicht urteilen- wer weiß wofür es gut war.

Das Personal sehr freundlich und absolut Dienstleistungsorientiert. Großes Lob! Das Ambiente ist urgemütlich und stimmungsvoll. Die Speisen sind sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch ein wahrer Genuss! Ich habe in meinem Leben schon viele Salate in Restaurants gegessen, aber der hier ganz einfach als „Beilagensalat“ bezeichnete Gaumenschmaus hat alles übertroffen! Für mich ganz klar eine 11 von 10 😉.

Wir haben uns auf Grund der guten Bewertungen zu einem Abendessen verleiten lassen....und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Das Restaurant ist personell völlig unterbesetzt... Personal ist ständig genervt und reserviert. Das erklärt vieles aber nicht Alles. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, hat mitunter auch eine ziemlich seltsame Zusammenstellung. Völlig unerklärlich sind die seltsamen mit blauer Lebensmittelfarbe gefärbten Pop Korn die sich auf fast jedem Gericht befunden haben. Auch die Brotchips zum versalzenen Lachstatar sind schwer zu erklären. Fazit.... Lieber nicht noch einmal.

Tolles Ambiente im zweigeschossigen Lokal und im Garten. Kleine, aber feine Speisekarte mit regionalen Gerichten. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Perch fillet and "large meadow" (salad) were very tasty - the salad variation in the large meadow was very tasty (including pickled onions...) and the salad portion was very generous (with bread) 👍 I'm not attaching a photo because there was nothing left - I'll be back

We had lunch outside. The interior is very detailed, the toilets are modern and very clean. Great food, great service, very child-friendly from A to Z, and then a fair bill. We were very satisfied! Thank you!

We had schnitzel, fried fish and herrings. Everything was ok but not outstanding. Atmosphere was still nice. However, the prices are disproportionate to the quality of the food.

Montag Abend sehr gut besucht in der Hauptsaison, wir hatten reserviert. Aufmerksam zu unserem kleinen Hund, Wasser angeboten. Wartezeit zur Vorspeise 50min, Hauptspeisen 40 min. Nach zwei Stunden war es echt zu lang insgesamt. Räucherforelle recht trocken, kaum von der Gräte zu bekommen. Remoulade und Kartoffeln-Gurkensalat sehr lecker! Gebratenes Forelle ebenfalls sehr fest an der Gräte. Wels und Zander waren sehr lecker, leider stark einseitig meliert, was nicht angegeben war. Gute Fass-Bier Auswahl. Service anfangs sehr freundlich und präsent, ab der Vorspeise war eher gestresst. Nettes, uriges Ambiente, gut ausgeleuchtet.

I love it. I don't need to say more. Children are given painting materials straight away. Despite the full hut, the service didn't show the stress. Keep it up.

We ate there with 8 people. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is fitting and nice. The fish dishes tasted good. The salad with scampi was nothing special and too expensive. There were three men with us who weren't satisfied with the portions.

We come to Waren from Havelland several times a year. We always go to eat at the Altes Reusenhus, we have already visited a few restaurants but in the Reusenhus we feel comfortable and always well served. The food was absolutely to our liking, always fresh and lovingly prepared. Price performance fits, service nice, courteous and friendly. Thank you 👍

We hadn't made a reservation for our second visit to the restaurant (Friday evening)... nevertheless we were taken to a nice spot in the beer garden. The menu is not large, but the food is great, a delight for the eyes and the palate. The service is super friendly. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back if we end up in the Müritz again...

The food is not worth the money. Long wait for a deep fryer meal. Only the very friendly, Swabian service should be highlighted positively. A typical tourist trap for day tourists who never come back anyway. A pity.

Uriges Lokal das immer gut besucht ist. Reservierung auch für nur 2 Personen wäre ratsam. Karte ist vielseitig und auch mit aussergewöhnlichen Zusammenstellungen eine Bereicherung. Einziges Manko, es dauert alles sehr sehr lange. Ob Getränke oder Essen. Tja - es fehlt Personal.

The best restaurant in Waren an der Müritz. Lovingly prepared and a taste highlight. We spontaneously made another reservation for 2 days later. Update May 3rd, 2024: it has lost its freshness, 1 year ago we were still fascinated and surprised by the kitchen's creative ideas with fermented specialties that we didn't know about. Unfortunately, this time the beer batter for the fish dish was baked in the deep fryer and was dripping with fat, and the fancy seasonings were completely missing. It's a shame, it seems to only be about sales and profit, the tables are probably occupied at least 3-5 times in the evening.

That was a tasty experience! My pike - watch out for bones! It was very tasty - anyone who knows this fish knows how sweet the meat is. There were also steamed vegetables and herb potatoes. Away from the tourist crowds - it's worth it to climb the church and take a break here - we didn't want to go all the way to the church, although we did climb it in a detour... It's definitely worth taking a look into an alley - popular music is here like it used to be and has been reinterpreted!!! Loving old and young (facility and guests), service (greetings to your dog! And we would be happy to grant you the free minutes with him - you gave us a nice time!). The chef tries it out, which is definitely not a negative thing (as a Berliner, I expected something different from "lukewarm potato and cucumber salad" - too paprikalastik, less is more, since there are no grilled peppers with it: THE product is in the foreground - and that was absolutely delicious!) Parents-in-law were super happy because it was great quality and delicious too! I also think that the friendly waiter could have filleted my fish at the table, but that was done elsewhere - you can, unless... Ergo; great product quality, cozy, yet clean ambience within old walls (it's a shame, the house combo only plays once a month in the evening, we were in Waren at lunchtime)!!! Will take a look here again this year! I can't judge what it's like when the masses of tourists besiege the city...

The Reusenhus is located in the middle of the city center! Very clocky atmosphere with many exhibits related to fishing. Very nice service. The fish dishes are very decorative and super leggy! Prices are pleasant. Overall, highly recommended!!

Wieder eine Entdeckung für uns. Die Speisen sind alle ein wenig anders als bei anderen, aber richtig gut und kreativ gedacht und gemacht. So war der Rotkohl zur Entenbrust nicht mit Apfel, sondern mit Kirschen. Lecker! Alles war mit qualitativ wertigen Komponenten hergestellt. Das hat Spaß gemacht hier zu essen, auch weil der Service gut organisiert und freundlich war. Alle, für die Essen mehr ist als einfach nur satt zu werden, die sind hier richtig. Goldrichtig!
