Summer, sun, nice weather. You are on Kaiserstrasse and you see the new pizzeria Villa Martino. You go in, order and eat outside. The food tastes very good, the service is very friendly. 😊 What annoyed us were the wasps, but they are everywhere in the summer. 🦟

The Service was for 2 if 2 people who order a bottle of wine bring you the wine and put it in the wallet without even having to try it and not only that and they fight they look at your plate as if to say move that we have to go on break 2 people who spent 160 euros per year I expect a 4 star service

We were there for the first time today. Very attentive waiters, apart from that, very well trained. No waiting times from taking the order to serving the drinks and food. Only the dessert took a little longer. But you have to say, there was a lot going on. As an apology, we received these directly on the house, which shouldn't have happened at all. The food we had and opted for fish and prawns was excellent. The white wine spritzer also goes with it. This is rounded off with a small, very well chilled Limocello. Overall grade 1

We went to eat here on the recommendation of a friend and what can I say, we were blown away. We all had the star pizza with mascarpone and I've never had a pizza like that before. The combination was so incredibly delicious. Staff was very friendly and nice. We'd love to come back. Recommend everyone to try it out for themselves.

Top food, very nice staff and in the beautiful old town of Waldshut!

We spent a great summer evening in the VILLA MARTINO restaurant. The service was very attentive and nice. We felt like we were in Bella Italia. Our aperitif, it was a Hugo, was excellent. The bruschettas were excellent and the pizzas were simply delicious. Towards the end of the meal we were surprised with a limoncello. The espresso we ordered was accompanied by a small glass of coffee cream. We thought that was a nice gesture. We really liked the restaurant. We'll be back very soon!!!

A very attractive Italian restaurant with very good food and attentive staff.

It was a truly wonderful Mediterranean culinary journey for an hour and a half in which I was able to forget everything else. You can speak Italian, English and German with everyone, the drinks (not just the wine list), food and the service are bellissimo, excellent and outstanding, I was between delighted and completely thrilled. I really regret that I didn't have more time You can go here alone, as a couple or with the whole extended family. Table manners and stylish clothing are welcome here, I'll work on my colleague from New Sealand a bit more. Scusa, mea culpa! 🫶🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Truly one of the best Italian restaurants I know.

The food was very tasty and nicely prepared, the quality is very good and the portion is ok. The service is very good and you are looked after wonderfully. The price is already in the upper segment. My wife and I paid €51 for a salad, a pizza and three drinks. The quality justifies the price, but it is still rather upscale. Definitely coming back for dinner

We ate there two days in a row. It was a real treat. Authentic cuisine, excellent service and a price-performance ratio that is pleasantly surprising. Even though we got to know Villa Martino through a vacation, it won't be the last time we were able to have such a fantastic meal there. Keep it up 100%. The most authentic Italian I know outside of Italy. Native Italians also eat here. The food is above average and inexpensive. The service was very courteous and the restaurant was often very busy. We'd love to come back :)

Always perfect even after many visits.

Actually, a 4 would have been due for eating. The potato side dish was totally over salted. Because the menu was very generous, we shared my fries. The steaks were perfectly cooked. At the end, the house donated dessert without us asking. Thank you to the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again

We came across the restaurant by chance and we really love it. After we were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table, we were able to browse the menu. The dough for the pizza we ordered was crispy and nice and fluffy on the inside. A real eye-catcher was the dessert, which was served in an espresso pot. Everything was very clean and generally very stylishly furnished. A definite recommendation!

We went tonight with my husband and my children, for them a dish from the children's menu, I would say perfect, they both ate everything. We had a starter, first course and second course, unfortunately I only took photos of the first course but everything was really excellent, especially for us Italians, this is definitely a place where you can find good food. Also excellent aperitif and wine. Welcoming and professional service and staff, very nice place (especially the slightly more sheltered part with very delicate lights where we were). I would like to thank you very much for the top service this lunchtime. My 11-year-old son went to eat alone today with two friends of the same age. He told me with pride and joy how respectfully he and his friends were treated by you. This really impressed him, as children are not so welcome everywhere. He said that the pizza was even baked in a heart shape and they were given lollipops and even ice cream if there was enough time. Thank you for giving the boys such a nice lunch break. The reservation went smoothly. Staff is friendly and service was good. The food tasted very good. Salad, pizza and dessert were tasty and were also lovingly prepared. I found the pizza base to be very thin. What I didn't like was the table. A two table in the passage. It was very wobbly, you always have to be careful not to knock over the drinks. And unfortunately the glass was broken and I cut my lip. Ambiance is very nice, well done. Public parking spaces are available in a few minutes. And everything was very clean.

In response to Villa Martino Restaurant's recent complaint, I would like to clarify that my original review dated December 15, 2015 was based on a personal visit at that time. Despite the restaurant's objections to my experience, my opinion remains unchanged and based on this visit. However, I am disappointed with the way this situation was handled and have therefore changed my rating to one star.

It wasn't a meal, it was an experience. Food delicious, staff friendly and a pleasant atmosphere. I can recommend it to everyone.

Bad imitation of Italian food...

While the atmosphere is very good and the place attractive to sit and eat, unfortunately the food was very poor and expensive. 1 star for the food 1 for the management making references to Cretan women they don't like 5 for the atmosphere.

The food is always very good, the service is flexible, very nice and accommodating. The small glass of soft ice cream with the coffee is a very nice touch, as is the limoncello. If I had to find the fly in the ointment, the light is very bright, in the evening a candle on the table and the light is about 2/3 as bright and it would be perfect.

The pasta in the deep plate was very hot until the end! A great experience ! We had to do the refilling of the wine. Otherwise the service was impeccable. The ambience is nice, clean, a beautiful rose on the table. Gladly again .

Das wohl beste Italienische Restaurant im Landkreis Waldshut. Mit Abstand das schönste Restaurant in dem ich gewesen bin. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wichtig ist rechtzeitig zu reservieren, da es immer voll ist. Wir werden immer wieder kommen. Es ist so lecker.

Ich habe im Italienurlaub in 2 von 3 Fällen nicht so gut gegessen wie hier. Die Pizzas sind der Hammer, Service und Einrichtung ebenso. Hier macht man Alles richtig.
