On the first Sunday of every month, Torre Antica hosts brunch. This brunch is highly recommended. A motivated and, above all, super friendly team turns this Sunday into a culinary experience for guests. This level of customer service is unfortunately not something you can take for granted these days. In addition to sparkling wine, orange juice, multivitamin juice, still water, mineral water, and coffee, there is salmon, antipasti, a great selection of cheeses and sausages, scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon, as well as an exceptionally good Italian cappuccino and espresso. The lunch selection was also excellent—including vegetarian options. If you want to enjoy a relaxed Sunday brunch as a couple, a group of four, or with the whole family, you should definitely try the brunch on the first Sunday of the month at Torre Antica.

Hello, We have been guests at Torre Antica for years because the food there has always been very good. They also served a delicious tomahawk at an affordable price. We were there again yesterday and were actually looking forward to a nice evening with good food. Unfortunately, the following happened: - The waiter didn't know the difference between a regular light beer and a wheat beer. - The salad arrived relatively quickly, but the tomahawk arrived just 5 minutes later. So I had to push the salad down because there wouldn't have been any room on the table otherwise. - On the other hand, the 5-6 asparagus with potatoes for 25 euros (supposedly 400g) and the lasagna arrived 15 minutes later than the steak and pizza. - A tomahawk (or any good steak in general), which is then grilled on the hot stone, should be seared by the chef so that it develops a nice crust, but is still raw inside. Unfortunately, the tomahawk arrived rather cooked. No crust, but well cooked, up to 1cm on each side. - Additionally, you used to get a tomahawk that weighed about 1500g, now it's only 1200g, but it's €10 more expensive than before. - The pizza was tasteless. The kebab place around the corner from us makes better pizza. - When we ordered another portion of twister fries, it took so long that we ended up ordering the bill, as we'd already finished the steak 10 minutes ago. - We then waited 15 minutes until we could order the bill. It did arrive, but we had to wait another 15 minutes until the other waiter came by and asked if we wanted to pay everything together. The answer was "yes," but instead of paying, we received another bill. - We then decided to go to the bar to pay. Unfortunately, we were informed then (and not when ordering) that they didn't have a card reader yet. So I was able to make a quick visit to the bank, as I don't usually carry that much cash on me these days. As I mentioned, we always loved Torre Antica, even if not very often (usually about 2-3 times a year). But apparently, the owner just changed, and you can really tell by the quality. In my opinion, the good reviews here date back to the time of the previous owners, and I would have given it a 5 back then. But unfortunately, 2 stars are enough now. Unfortunately, this restaurant is no longer available for us, as we no longer go there, but instead opt for others in the area.

Wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend mit Freunden im Torre Antica gefreut – leider wurde dieser Abend zu einer Reihe enttäuschender Ereignisse. Bereits zu Beginn: Ein Teller „Antipasto della casa“ und vier Bruschette wurden erst nach einer ganzen Stunde serviert. Als wir schon kurz davor waren, aufzustehen und zu gehen, erschien der Chef, der uns lediglich mitteilte, dass es noch fünf weitere Minuten dauern würde. Obwohl unsere Geduld völlig am Ende war, haben wir aus Respekt noch gewartet – und das nicht zum ersten Mal. Doch es hätte nicht dabei bleiben müssen: Nachdem wir endlich die Antipasti erhielten, dauerte es weitere 40 Minuten, bis die Hauptspeise ankam. Wir haben sie nur halbherzig verzehrt und sind daraufhin sofort gegangen. Dabei hat sich niemand bei uns entschuldigt – weder während des Abends noch beim Verlassen des Lokals. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass man uns, obwohl wir um 22:30 Uhr fast zu den letzten Gästen gehörten, nicht einmal ein Abschiedswort zukommen ließ. Insgesamt war das Erlebnis geprägt von endlosen Wartezeiten und einem Service, der weder kundenorientiert noch respektvoll wirkte. Leider werden wir dem Torre Antica in Zukunft wohl fernbleiben.

My wife and I came for lunch spontaneously. I ordered a pizza with buffalo mozzarella, my wife the gnocchi with tomatoes and mozzarella. When the pizza arrived, for whatever reason, there was ham on it, even though it wasn't listed on the menu. Since I don't eat ham, I couldn't eat the pizza. Unfortunately, the gnocchi were very bland and the tomato sauce tasted like ready-made sauce. There was no trace of mozzarella. The waiter was very friendly - the only positive thing about our visit. The toilet was in an unhygienic state. After a few minutes, the boss came, noticed that I hadn't eaten my pizza, and apologized. He offered to make a new one, but I declined because I had already tried the crust and the overall taste of the pizza was disappointing - it was more like a sub-par frozen pizza. Unfortunately, not a recommendable experience.

Ambiance is really nice My girlfriend and I had the lemon-mango risotto and one with pesto... both were so incredibly delicious. My friend had a fantastically prepared tomato mozzarella salad as a starter (the way the food was served was unique) it doesn't come to the plate in the classic way... you have to try it! I ordered an Italian antipasti, full of anticipation and was disappointed, there was a juniper ham, a German salami and Black Forest ham on the antipasti, there was absolutely nothing on it with antipasti and this basamic cream drizzled everywhere, when we asked the waiter about it, he said he was sorry because of the holidays he didn't have any Italian products had more in the kitchen 😕😕. Beautiful, rustic environment, I loved it. The food was excellent I must say, but the first course was ravioli with ricotta and spinach. I have to say that in the ravioli there was only ricotta and not even a hint of spinach, but otherwise everything was really good. Regarding the service, I would say terrible, starting from the fact that they took away the dirty cutlery and when they served the other dish they forgot to bring clean ones, and the same thing for the towels. On the other hand, the place was not full, so these oversights cannot be understood. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the service.

A really cozy restaurant with a nice ambience that invites you to linger. The shrimp starter was simply delicious and perfectly balanced. I also really enjoyed the pasta and it was served in a generous portion. A small downer was that I received blackcurrant juice even though I had ordered the plaice. Still, everything else was great and I would definitely come back!

We went to celebrate my birthday because the usual Italian restaurant we go was close, so since the place looks amazing, we decided to give it a try, but unfortunately wasn't really a good experience. We ordered food and drinks. Drinks came and mine was wrong. The waiter changed it. Came 2 times more to ask what did we ordered for food. After 20' he said it will take 15' for the food to come. (No apologies) after 45' we asked where is the food, and he answered in the oven. After 15' more we decided to leave. We went to pay and the guy was pissed at us, he asked literally: "You don't want to wait a little bit more and see if the food comes?" We said more than 1h was enough waiting. And again, NO a single apologies, like it was completely a normal thing. I must say that the whole thing was a disaster. I saw one couple sending back the food, and 2 more tables complaining. Anyway, I wish all the best to this place, but having this poor service, don't know how long they will last.

Perfect and excellent are understatements. The rump steak strips with parmesan on rocket and tagliatelle are a POEM! Rarely enjoyed strips of rump steak that were so aromatic and well cooked (perfect roasted aromas). The fillet with truffle sauce and tagliatelle was also on point, delicious! The tagliatelle seemed freshly made and the decoration of the plates was loving and appealing. Priced more than appropriate. We came here by motorbike from our Black Forest vacation and really have to say: one of the best meals we've ever had :)

Sehr schönes Ambiente, Pizza wirklich ausgezeichnet und von guter Qualität. Bedienung auch sehr freundlich. Einzig der Geschmack im Restaurant ist durch die mangelnde Lüftung nicht optimal. Generell meinen Meinung, dass man sich entweder auf Steakhouse oder Italienischer Küche entscheiden soll. Aber ein Besuch auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Dafür sind wir im Restaurant Scheffelhof unweit von dem Torre weg, auf unsere Kosten gekommen.
