Great restaurant with great cuisine and nice staff

This is a shop near the Brandenburg Gate where you can feel the German atmosphere. Of course, currywurst is more expensive than eating it at a street vendor, but it tastes good. The sausage is thick and there are a lot of potatoes. The staff throws cups down, but it's okay if you're used to living in Germany.

We were visiting Berlin for a day and used Google to find out where we could get delicious German cuisine... what can I say, we weren't disappointed. All in all it was great. The meat was super tender, the food was beautifully and tasty, the wine recommendation didn't promise us too much and the waitresses were all very friendly and accommodating. Can be recommended without hesitation.

If you want to eat really tasty, good German, you're in good hands here. Service, food and ambience are good. Simply recommended...

I ordered and ate currywurst and beer~~ The currywurst was delicious!! The staff was also very friendly!! It was a very satisfying meal!!

Nice location with historical pictures, but the farmer's breakfast was totally dry and 17 euros!!!

It was a great dining experience. It made me feel more at home than eating in the Czech Republic. The enthusiastic staff deserved a 10% tip. Everything was great! Hope to have a chance to come again

Your typical, no nonsense German restaurant for home cooked food. Only a short walk away from the Brandenburg tor but a great one to go. The pork knuckle and medallions were great.

Standard kitchen without any special features. Or is it? Of course: the prices are far too high for the food served. But in the tourist area this is possible, but probably less so for regular guests.

Horrible price for horrible food 🤢🤮 Not a suggestion

We were very disappointed. We have informed us in advance on the website that: “We are open for you every day: 12:00 p.m. - as long as it makes sense, but at least until 11:00 p.m Kitchen closes at 10 p.m. So we went there in good spirits at 8:30 p.m. after our arrival in Berlin and were immediately sent away again with the words “we’re closed”.

The restaurant looks nice but the food was not great and the price , horrible! Not worth your money and the food wasn’t great either!

It was my first German meal and I was very satisfied! The staff is also very friendly and cheerful! Even the last dessert was delicious!! The French fries in the currywurst and the beans in the schnitzel were especially delicious!

We were extremely excited. Actually, there are often only “tourist restaurants” in central locations, but here you really have a rustic Berlin pub. Super nice staff and very tasty food. We'll definitely be back. You should also make a reservation during the week. There were a lot of people there, but unfortunately none of them got a place. Luckily we had reserved in time. You are also allowed to take a dog with you.

Authentical German Hausmannskost! I‘m German, I know what I‘m talking about. Very delicious, and the service is perfect. I was here with Friends that don‘t speak German and they can serve in English. It was a wrap!! Prices are ok.

We had a wonderful meal here with excellent service. The waiter was professional, attentive, and pleasant. The food was delicious and high quality. The ambience was cozy, inviting and warm. We have no complaints and are happy that our first meal in Berlin was here.

Great location near Brandenburg Gate. Traditional, warm interior. The food is fine, great sauerkraut but overall it’s normal to average German food. Nice English speaking waiters. I would return if I was in the neighborhood for sure but I would know the food is pretty average.

We were so lucky you get the last table for a few drinks. Everybody else after us was turned away. This is a lovely bar and restaurant, cozy and welcoming. The food coming out looked absolutely amazing.

Good dishes, the place is nice even if the bathrooms are not very clean. Unfortunately the review takes into account the rudeness of the waiter. At the end of dinner he asked us for a tip, which was not obligatory, he pointed out that he would have expected a higher tip, even saying "are you jocking with me?!" I would like to point out that having made several trips, we have never encountered problems of this type with the tip at the end of the bill. Not recommended for Italians, evidently it is a type of clientele they don't like.

Traditional german restaurant! Great staff and service. You really felt like you walked into someone’s home. We ordered the duck from the christmas menu, calf liver and eisbein Pork leg! Every dish was perfect and I was shocked When Eisbein came in. So much food! Will definitely come back next Time we are in Berlin!

The place has traditional decoration. And the food could not be otherwise traditional as well. I ordered potato soup which was delicious and a small grill of typical sausages + typical meatball + small snaitzel. With potatoes made in bacon fat and onion. It couldn't be more typical. The place is very nice and the lady who served me, I loved it!!!!. No time for nonsense but thanking you for a please and a thank you. A good professional!! Thanks for the experience 😊

I ordered something called the Berlin Platter, which is similar to a Berlin set. It comes with currywurst, meatballs (or rather, hamburgers), a small schnitzel, potatoes (pommes), and sauerkraut, making it the perfect size for one person. Of course it tasted good too. Recommended for those who want to taste a variety of things!

We entered the restaurant full of anticipation and didn't get far. After half a meter, a rope stretched across the way prevents you from entering. Well, let's wait for a waiter to take us to our seat. But nobody came. After what felt like an eternity, the employee at the bar took pity on us and gave us a short “full”. We left in surprise...

We had dinner here and it was a good choice. A plate of noodles and a typical German one (with cold meat) + 2 beers, 50 euros. Very friendly staff who recommended which beer to drink. Very cozy atmosphere and very clean service.

Pedí Zilles Grill, tiene un montón de comida para una persona y le permiten tener un sabor de diferentes proteínas. Tienen un menú en diferentes idiomas (inglés, español, italiano, etc) y el servicio es bastante decente. El restaurante no acepta Amex, así que prepárese para efectivo u otras tarjetas. ¡Buena cerveza! Sin pretzels...

The food is excellent and the service very fast and friendly. 100% recommended. The portions are large so if you are not very hungry, we recommend sharing a plate between 2.

I wanted to try something very local and traditional even I knew it is not my food. Very friendly staff and even made corrections in a dish according to my demand. Food was really delicious although I cannot call it as a healthy food - but it a traditional German cuisine. Who likes meat dishes shoud visit this place.

Restaurant with Berlin specialties. Always full, reservations are recommended. The staff is on their toes and tries to organize seats when there are a lot of guests queuing. I had veal liver with mashed potatoes - absolutely delicious! Freshly fried and the mashed potatoes are mashed from potatoes, NOT from a bag. Highly recommended!

They have been very unpleasant: there were 5 of us to have a drink and despite the fact that customers were being received right in front of us and right after us, the waiter, dry and unpleasant, did not want to serve us because, according to him, it was his break time, which, Obviously, it was a lie.
