Delicious food, short waiting time, friendly and attentive service, excellent value for money – highly recommended!

A very good Greek restaurant. The food was excellent, tasted delicious, just like in Greece, and the portions were very generous. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Children are very welcome. Definitely something special in the region; well worth a visit.

We popped in this restaurant while visiting the Black Forest. The service crews are super friendly. Food price are affordable and big portion. It is open on Christmas Day itself and we received a bottle of red wine as gift. Thank you

We're a bit farther away, but we're happy to make the hour-long drive because everything here is perfect for us: good food, a pleasant atmosphere both inside and out, very friendly service, and good value for money. We'd be happy to come back... keep it up!

Very tasty, with a few table issues. I don't know of any Greek restaurant that doesn't serve a side salad with the main course, hence only 4 stars.

Took a room in their hotel, very cozy and comfortable, and also had a dinner at their Greek restaurant. The staff (family) is very nice and kind! The food at the restaurant was very good, and not expensive at all. Suggested for a dinner and if you're looking to a plafe where to sleep, please consider their hotel!

The garden and the location above(!) the stream remain a truly unique highlight. However, the portions are getting smaller and smaller here, too; it's no longer fun to eat Greek grilled dishes when they don't even fill you up 😪

Very friendly, quick, and uncomplicated staff in the restaurant. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the terrace next to the river is lovely and very pleasant in warm weather. The rooms are a bit older but very clean and have everything you need.

We stayed overnight on the Westweg in Hausach and, due to a lack of other options, ate here. It was a very good decision. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the beer garden. Highly recommended.

Great terrace, attentive staff, and vegan options. Everything is delicious! Why the vegan menu is only available upon request is a mystery to me, though. Vegan options at a Greek restaurant are a unique selling point and don't need to be hidden. ;)

A real insider tip in Hausach! The Mangoufis family's Greek restaurant Akropolis offers truly great food at the highest level. The quality of the food is excellent and the prices are absolutely fair. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a cozy country inn and invites you to linger. Also worth mentioning is the incredibly friendly and attentive service staff, which rounds off the visit perfectly. The chef seems to be a true master of his craft - every dish is a delight! We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the Acropolis! 👏🍴

We were here two years ago and everything was excellent Unfortunately that wasn't the case yesterday As always, the service was very friendly and very accommodating We didn't have a reservation, but were still assigned a table As a starter we had the number 31 and the number 44, in both cases the garlic was rather low For the main course we had the Delphi platter The rice was very tasty, the fries were floury The meat from the gyros and lamb was too dry, the suflaki would have needed to be grilled longer The Suzuki, on the other hand, was on point It's a shame that the quality didn't hold up over the two years and was rather mixed

Very friendly staff, they even went with us in the car to show us where the parking area corresponding to the accommodation was. Large, comfortable room with windows overlooking the canal, coffee and tea. The bathroom (except the shower unit) a little dated but good, we were very comfortable. Food very tasty. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Tomato rice for the little one was forgotten, when I asked, the answer came —> will come straight away. Of course the rice didn't come. My son was asked if he needed ketchup and mayo. He said yes and the waiter ran away again and never came back….

The starters were very good, a little less mussaka and praws. Overall good dinner and courtesy of the staff. Medium-high price

That was a great surprise! I didn't know the restaurant and hadn't read any reviews beforehand. And then I was treated to the best Greek food I've had in a loooong time! There were two of us and we shared 3 dishes: red peppers stuffed with sheep's cheese, lamb chops and a large Greek salad with sheep's cheese. Everything tasted fabulously delicious and fresh, the salad was phenomenally crunchy and fresh. The lamb was wonderfully tender and the side dishes were plentiful and good. The peppers with sheep's cheese also get a 1* from me. The ladies and gentlemen in service were very nice, super quick and professional. I will eat here again, despite the 35 km journey.

After all, we drive almost 30 minutes. But that is also worth it. The dishes that we and our family have eaten so far have been great.

There is always a warm welcome at the Mangoufis family. The service is quick and friendly. There are great seats outside in the garden by the stream. A warm plate of starters is enough for a small hunger. I also like to have a bifteki, well seasoned with rice and fries as a side dish. The same good quality every time. We would like to come again.

Excellent food. You could lie down in the Metaxa sauce. The calamari is great and the breaded feta is delicious. The bifteki couldn't be better either. Absolute insider tip: the stuffed mushrooms as a starter. Pleasant, friendly service. Lots of space on the terrace, and dogs are also welcome.

The fiasco began as soon as you entered the restaurant: the greeting was so cold that you immediately felt unwelcome. Even though we had made a reservation by phone, we had to look for a table ourselves - an absolute no-go in the restaurant industry. We sat down and waited and waited until someone finally noticed us. Such waiting times are simply unacceptable. The warm starter arrived quickly, although it was overpriced. When I finally got my bifteki, it was so salty that any other taste was completely lost. The fries were dry and by the time the Metaxa sauce I ordered came, they were cold. This sauce was a total failure in terms of taste because it had nothing to do with real Metaxa. No cutlery was served with the main course. We sat there not knowing how to enjoy our meal. When we politely asked to pack up the leftovers, containers were placed on the table and we had to do it ourselves. The promised disposable cutlery also took a long time to arrive and we had to ask three times before it finally came. Then I wanted to finish off with a traditional Greek mocha. But no one asked if I wanted my coffee with or without sugar. The coffee was inedibly bitter and full of floating particles - clear evidence of poor preparation. To make matters worse, the background music was far too loud and monotonous, destroying any possibility of a relaxing atmosphere. In addition to the many shortcomings, there are also exorbitant prices. I really hope that this restaurant takes these serious shortcomings seriously and works to provide a better experience for its guests in the future.

They have a vegan menu (you have to ask for it). The food was very tasty. The tomato soup and herb salad were just too salty for me. The garlic bread was super tasty. The waitress couldn't hear well and was a bit confused. But I would come again.

Delicious food, lean gyro meat, good quality meat, well seasoned. We recommend! The rooms are relatively large, which leads to a certain amount of noise when they are busy.

It's, visibly, a german Wirtshaus, that the owner transformed into a greek tavern. It's a welcoming atmosphere and the food is tasty. If you need your dose of greek mediterranean soul food, deep into the black forest of Germany, that is the place to still your cravings.

Pranzo ad inizio dicembre in famiglia. Struttura “datata” ma accogliente e pulita. Personale super gentile, la signora è stata accogliente e disponibile (ci ha suggerito anche dei bellissimi mercanti di natale da vedere). Cibo ottimo, semplice e gustoso. Mi è piaciuto il burro condito con la carne, sicuramente lo userò anche io a casa. Solo un po’ scomodi gli scalini se si hanno passeggino o carrozzine. Consiglio se ci si trova in zona!

Wir waren nicht das erste und auch nicht das letzte Mal dort. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, Chef und Chefin sind prima, das gesamte Servicepersonal ist sehr nett. Wir haben uns (wie immer) sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung mit 5 Sternen.

Weihnachtsfeier mit 40 Personen, top Kommunikation im Vorfeld, alle Speisen binnen kurzer Zeit serviert und auch beim Bezahlen ging alles sehr flott, großes Lob an Familie Mangoufis.

Sehr freundliches Personal und immer lecker Essen.

Wir sind schon einige Jahre meistens unter der Woche zum Mittagstisch dort und mehr als zufrieden! Reichhaltige und sehr leckere Auswahl, im Winter(!) sogar mit Suppe vom Haus gratis...ich schaffe die Portionen oft nicht...sehr nette Bedienung..."familiäres" Ambiente...das Highlight im Sommer sind noch die Terrasse und der schöne Garten...für uns ein kleines Stück Urlaub in Griechenland.👍
