Ordering/Pickup In short: Super friendly, super delicious food. For those who prefer a more detailed review: I personally have only positive things to say. Always friendly, fast, and very tasty food! Even under €20, card payment is no problem. When I pick up my order, they always ask if I'd like an ouzo. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

What a disgrace! I took a closer look at the bill after paying. We were charged for the ouzo, which is free at every Greek restaurant in Germany. That's completely unacceptable. They should leave it out then!!!

If you like classic Greek cuisine, this is the place for you. I've eaten a grilled gyro, souvlaki, and suzuki there several times. The tzatziki is also very good!

Disappointed… I just wanted to buy a voucher for 200 euros and wasn't allowed to pay with a card. It said: “Card payments are not possible, only cash!” ….and in this day and age….

Not bad as a change. What's not possible is that you get ouzo without being asked, as a welcome aperitif, so to speak, and then even on the bill. I don't think that's okay.

I always go there spontaneously, even though it is often reserved, and yet they always find a way to make a place for us. The service is super nice and accommodating, which makes the visit even more pleasant. And best of all: the food tastes incredibly delicious! You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality and good service here. Absolutely recommended

It was on December 30th. Luckily there was still a place available for the three of us. We had calamari for starters and gyros with fries for the main course. Everything was very good and we felt very comfortable.

Absolute no-go! Will never eat there again! First we had to wait 40 minutes for someone to come to take the drinks order. There were also children there who were of course very hungry; there wasn't even a piece of bread on the table. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The staff, especially the boss, practically kicked us out of his restaurant because they had to close even though new customers were just walking in and sitting at the table to eat. When it came to paying it was even worse, the boss came in completely pissed off, angry and shouted at “us” that we couldn’t pay large amounts with a card! Although it is clearly stated on the internet that you can pay by card.

Very tasty food, great, friendly service, you feel really welcome here as a guest. We were here with two small children who were able to run around without anyone getting annoyed, even though there was a lot going on. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!

Perfect, Greek 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 The Acropolis has been around for a very long time. Food and drinks are typical, Greek and very well prepared. The ambience is a bit stuck in time and could be a little newer. In the warm season you can also sit outside and let yourself be pampered. The Acropolis is highly recommended ‼️‼️‼️

Greek restaurant in Germany where once you are seated at the table, you really feel like you live in the aegean. Excellent and polite staff. Typical Greek dishes slightly adapted to the "continental" palate, good!! You notice that quality matters. Local environment, ..... would make you want to live in Greece. Compliments.

The Akropolis in Waldshut-Tiengen offers friendly service, although we found that it took a little long for the food to come to the table. The saganaki was very tasty, although the presentation left something to be desired - it was served rather blandly with a slice of tomato and a lemon on a leaf. My wife tried the six lamb chops, but unfortunately the taste of the dish was not convincing. However, the portion size was great. I had the gyros, and here too the portion size was good, but the taste was lacking that certain something. Overall we give 4 stars, although with a tendency towards 3 stars. There is definitely still room for improvement in terms of taste, especially to give the dishes more pizzazz.

We spontaneously went there with 3 people. All tables were reserved, so it is recommended to call ahead. We must have looked so sad 😁, so the employee checked to see if there was an option, but in any case we were able to stay for a limited time (1.5 hours). No problem for us, we were happy that it worked. The service was friendly, quick and gave us good advice. The food was great, we had baked sheep's cheese, gyros gratinated with metaxa sauce and something vegetarian, very plentiful, really tasty with good quality and for me the best tzatziki so far 💖 The prices were also well calculated.

It's a shame, the shop is open until 2:30 p.m. according to the internet, but at 1:50 p.m. you are no longer allowed to eat at a table and are rudely sent away again.

The restaurant it is truly one of the few globally and I'm an frequent traveller. It is the best in what they do. I'm their client since 2011 and 13 years now the overall quality it's always great. I'm always enjoying the free ouzo at the beginning, which is cold and great to open your appetite. Food quality is great, the cleaniness it is exceptional, the service it is excellent and te prices very good, or even low in comparisson with the quality. I truly belive that bad comments can generated only by a bad luck incident, and if the someone complaints, they will do their best to make the customer happy. If there are people who complaint and nothing happened, probably they didn't talk to the chief weiter as he will never allow a customer to leave unhappy.

The Gyros Special in particular is like something out of a picture book. The meat is of great quality and has a very good price-performance ratio. Gladly and regularly!

I am a full-time Saganaki tester. Top Saganaki, the sheep's cheese, well fried, good and crispy breading and the lemon gives the final kick! You definitely have to try it. If you don't do this, you're missing out. The waiter behind the bar who looks like a cardboard plate is also nice.

If you want something special, you can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Auch dieses stand später auf der Rechnung. Trotz Reklamation enthielt die Rechnung dann immer noch das zusätzlich bestellte, aber nicht ausgeschenkte Getränk. Das Essen selbst ist durchschnittlich und es mangelt an Liebe zum Detail auf dem Teller. Gereichtes Brot beispielsweise muss nicht angewärmt, sollte aber wenigstens etwas knusprig sein. Wirklich passende Menüs für Vegetarier fehlen auf der Speisekarte. Wer satt werden will, kann sich hier abfüttern lassen. Das mit dem Abräumen von leeren Gedecken, scheint nicht unbedingt Priorität zu besitzen. Für uns war es der erste Besuch nach einer längeren Pause in diesem Lokal. Der Grund für die Pause bestätigte sich leider wieder.

Hier kann man wirklich gut Griechisch Essen, wir waren schon öfters da, und immer war alles sehr lecker. Service sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I am so glad I discovered this wonderful restaurant. The staff are caring and have great recommendations, the service is top notch. The food tastes like it was delivered from heaven by a stork. Highly recommend for omnivores; I am a vegetarian and always order their mushroom cheese spaghetti and it comes with a small mountain of molten cheese on top - Even just recalling the memory of this delicious dish I'm salivating. Portions are massive, too, as a heads up. Always have a wonderful time here. I can't wait to come back.
