A dream for people with gluten intolerance (celiac disease) We are very happy to have found a restaurant with such a large selection of gluten-free dishes. The staff is very attentive and accommodating and is very knowledgeable about preparing gluten-free dishes. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is very nice.

We have eaten at Agathe's several times and we have been extremely satisfied every time. The staff is very attentive and very accommodating. The food was delicious and the fried potatoes were very tasty and crispy. We were very satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit to Agathe. We wish you continued satisfied guests and will be happy to recommend you to others.

Beautiful outdoor area, very nice staff, unfortunately the food wasn't as it was on the menu. We each ordered a salad with fried oyster mushrooms and pomegranate seeds. However, instead of the pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds came. The complaint resulted in a comment that the new menu wasn't ready yet. It would have been nice if this had been pointed out beforehand. Unfortunately, the salad was too sour for me personally and the dip was too runny.

Me and my wife were there several times and always 100% at peace. Since that Unfortunately the ferry from Budenheim no longer crosses over and was no longer there. The path is simply too far

There were four of us in the restaurant; One of us relies on gluten-free food, the rest of us can eat normally. The ambience is magical, sitting in the courtyard feels like a holiday. We really liked that. Likewise the service, which was friendly. The food, however, was mixed. The “Zölli” really enjoyed the gluten-free burger. The other one didn't like the normal burger at all, but that wasn't the fault of the burger, but rather the way the patty was prepared. And that's probably just typical for the area. The gluten-free schnitzel was good. The kohlrabi schnitzel, on the other hand, is not; somehow it lacked spice. What unfortunately didn't work at all were the fried potatoes. Dripping with fat and lots of too darkly fried (?) potato pieces made this side dish worse than chip shop style. And that has nothing to do with “that’s just how it is in the area”. I actually expect better fried potatoes from a restaurant. And yes, I know, this is kind of hard to find. What really irritated us was that you have to pay extra for the gluten-free burger patties, even though the restaurant clearly describes itself as gluten-free. A pity. The happiness I felt at being able to order everything off the menu was still priceless.

Nice courtyard and nice service, food was great

A beautiful "vineyard" - friendly service and a really wide range of dishes. With meat - vegetarian - vegan and everything gluten-free. This is a truly inclusive offer - so everyone can have a wonderful stay together. I can particularly recommend the winemaker roulades...

Unfortunately, there aren't many restaurants that primarily offer gluten-free dishes, but other restaurants should also take a look. The food is also very tasty, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is very friendly!

After reading the website my expectations were very high... unfortunately not everything turned out as I had imagined... The atmosphere is very rustic, the food is regional, well-thought-out dishes, but the taste is not that great. The plates are guaranteed to be careless, the schnitzel was bland. The vegetarian dishes sounded promising, but tasted boring. The concept is great, but in my opinion the implementation fails because the ambience, menu and everything else doesn't fit together.

It was the first and certainly not the last time I ate at Agathes. And for a long time now I have been able to choose from the menu without having to search forever (gluten intolerance) and according to my mood (all dishes are prepared by myself!). I had a vegan burger with steakhouse fries. It was a dream! All the products are regional and I liked it very much! Above all, you only pay an extra €1 for the gf burger buns.

Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our lunch on Easter Sunday. The salad dressing was too sour for our taste. The rest of the meal was good!

We were very happy when we discovered the restaurant by chance. I have celiac disease and therefore can't eat gluten - so an almost completely gluten-free restaurant is a dream. The decor is quaint and the service is very friendly. We visited on a quiet Wednesday. The food selection is good and there is a lot to try, from classic schnitzel to vegan vintner roulade. The food came quickly and was delicious. In my opinion, every dish was missing salt, but that can usually be fixed quickly even with a salt shaker. I will gladly come again.

It is always a relief for us parents to be able to go to Agathes with our daughter (9 years old, celiac disease). Everything is always excellent and our daughter and of course us are happy!

We had food from the restaurant as catering for a baptism and were very satisfied. Even at the preliminary meeting everyone was very friendly and had good suggestions for our menu. We had a delicious broth with fries for the starter and goulash and spaetzle for the main course. Plus schnitzel for the young guests. Ketchup, mayo and various spices were also included. The food was very tasty, there was enough and everyone was happy. The delivery worked perfectly, the staff was very friendly. The price was also right, so we can't say anything negative and give it full stars.

Very cozy and rustic inn in the old town. Diverse and interesting menu that offers classic pub cuisine as well as many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Even those who have to/want to eat gluten-free will get their money's worth. Plus dishes that change seasonally. A small selection of regional wines, but also beer and various types of tea can be found on the drinks menu. The cuisine is very good, the dishes are prepared with love and care and are well seasoned. The service is very warm, friendly and attentive. You feel completely comfortable at Agathes.

Wir haben uns zu Weihnachten eine gans to Go bestellt und haben sie zu Hause fertig gemacht, es wahr ein Erlebnis diese gans zu essen. Sehr lecker, das Fleisch ist nur so von Knochen gefallen und die gans war mega zart. Wir gehen dort sehr gerne essen. Service top die Chefin mit Herzblut dabei. Zu empfehlen zum Essen ist im Winter das colcannen und im Sommer der Flammkuchen und die burger 😍. Bis zum nächsten Mal 😊

Wir bestellen seit einigen Jahren bei Agathes unsere Weihnachtsgans inklusive Beilagen und passender Wein - wie immer ein Genuss. Mein absolutes Lieblingsgericht sind die Winzerrouladen, die man im Rheingau nur hier findet - in Verbindung mit den Hildegard von Bingen-Gewürzen unschlagbar im Geschmack.

Super Geheimtipp. Die beste Weihnachtsgans als Menü fertig vorbestellen, abholen, per Anleitung ofenfertig zubereiten und nur noch genießen! Super freundlich! Top Atmosphäre!

Man fühlt sich wohl und die Inhaberin ist mit ganzem Herzen dabei. Nicht alltägliche und schmackhaft Speisen! Zu Weihnachten holen wir seit einigen Jahren Enten mit allen Beilagen zum zuhause in 20 min. fertig machen. Top Qualität zu angemessen Preisen. Auch die Gänse sind zu empfehlen.

Liebe Agathe und Team, wir waren gestern erstmalig bei Euch zum Gans Essen. Es war sehr lecker. Das Fleisch so zart, viel direkt von den Knochen beim Anheben. Die Haut knusprig und angenehm gewürzt. Die selbstgemachten Klösse und das selbstgemachte Rotkraut super lecker und was eine Besonderheit ist, dass man bei gutem Appetit auch noch kostenfrei nachbestellen kann... Für einen ganzen Nachtisch war kein Platz mehr im Bauch, so hat mich Julia bei ihrem Vanille Eis mit schwarzen Wallnüssen probieren lassen, mega lecker ... Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder... Danke für den schönen Abend

„Der Kunde ist König.“ So heißt es. Allerdings gibt es auch Ausnahmen. Eine davon haben wir am 22.11.2023 bei Agathe erlebt. Zur „Einstimmung“ trat Agathe an uns heran und forderte uns ziemlich unverblümt auf, für ausreichenden Verzehr zu sorgen, damit sie das mit uns nicht bereuen muss. Immerhin hätte sie wegen uns anderen abgesagt. (Da wir erst kurz zuvor reserviert hatten und das Lokal nicht gerade proppenvoll war, eine erstaunliche Aussage…) Zum Eklat kam es dann recht bald, als wir die Soße eines Burgers beanstanden mussten. Der Beanstandung wurde nicht abgeholfen. Begründung: Bisher seien immer alle Gäste mit diesem Burger und dieser Soße sehr zufrieden gewesen. Und das war's auch schon. Kein Alternativvorschlag, sondern „Ende der Durchsage“. Dieser kompromisslose Umgang mit Gästen passt so gar nicht in die Gastronomie, wie wir sie kennen. Wir verließen das Lokal früher als geplant und werden es nicht noch einmal betreten.

Ein tolles Restaurant. Alles super! wir gehen dort sehr gerne essen.

Das Wildsteak mit Bratkartoffeln war hervorragend. Das Fleisch war super zart. Das kann man nicht besser machen.

Fantastisch mehr kann man nicht sagen....

Die Geographische Gesellschaft Münster bedankt sich zusammen mit ihren Ehefrauen und Partnerinnen herzlichst für das gute Essen und den herrlichen Wein bei „Agathe“ . Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und begeistert von der schönen Atmosphäre .

Beim Radfahren durch Zufall Agathes (sehr) gute Küche entdeckt. Essen und Getränke haben ein Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sind sehr abwechslungsreich. Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Laden der E-Bike-Akkus kein Problem. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Essen war wirklich überhaupt nicht lecker und teuer dazu!Miniportionen,habe wirklich besseres erwartet!

Wir saßen gemütlich draußen im Hof und wurden freundlich bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Speisekarte hielt eine ausgefallene und vielfältige Auswahl bereit.

Herzliche, fast schon familiäre Atmosphäre. Man spürt die Liebe und die Begeisterung für die Gerichte. Eine tolle, stimmige Auswahl. Da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir hatten in unserer Gruppe jemand mit Gluten und Milchprodukten Problemen. Darauf wurde sehr spezifisch und fachmännisch eingegangen. Fazit: Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Leider hat es uns nicht geschmeckt. Wir hatten eine vegetarische Vorspeise und ein vegetarisches Hauptgericht. Die Speisen waren alle ungewürzt/fad und der Dip - eine Art kalte Bolognesesauce - fand sich in allen Gerichten wieder. Das Kohlrabischnitzel war kalt und die Fries nicht knusprig und ebenfalls ohne Salz. Schade! Die Wartezeit war extrem lang. Lediglich das Ambiente und das nette Personal verdienen ein Lob.

Da ich aus medizinischen Gründen glutenfrei essen muss, ist dieses Restaurant nur zu empfehlen. Alles in glutenfrei verfügbar und das in guter Qualität mit tollem Service !

Wir waren am 13.05. 2023 das erste Mal im Agathes zum Abendessen... Nette Bedienung. Wir warteten ca. 70 Minuten auf unser Essen... Auch ok... Die gefüllte Paprika war eine undefinierbare Gemüse-Pampe, die diverse Male sicherlich -vermute ich-erwärmt wurde... Wir werden jedenfalls dort nie mehr hingehen... Trotz Bescherde gab es keine dazu keine Rückmeldung.

Bei Agathes wird von Agathe, der bodenständigen Inhaberin, gekocht - hausgemacht, mit erstklassigen und regional eingekauften Lebensmitteln bzw. Zutaten. Tolles Küchen-Konzept nach Hildegard von Bingen. Gemütliche, originale Atmosphäre, drinnen und draußen. Herzlicher, familiärer Service. Einfach zum Rundum-Wohlfühlen. Jederzeit wieder, sehr empfehlenswert!

Den Tisch hatten wir vorbestellt und saßen im überdachten Innenhof. Service sehr nett und zügig. Es war auch kein Problem, dass wir alle unsere drei Gänge plus diverse Getränke einzeln bestellt haben. Zum Essen kann man nur sagen: alles lecker. Grüne Suppe, dicke Bohnen, Spundekäse, Fischbürger, Eis mit schwarzen Wallnüssen. Besonders das Gude-Bier hat gut gemundet ;). Gelungener Abend mit leckerem Essen. Im Lokal selber waren wir nicht, daher keine Aussage zur Sauberkeit, Innenhof und draußen ist immer anders, die Tische waren jedenfalls sauber abgewischt.
