Eine echte Überraschung! Ich war froh, ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für zwei zu bekommen. Die Artischocken-Vorspeise war hervorragend, und der Hauptgang – weißer Spargel mit Schweinefilet – war trotz längerer Wartezeit perfekt zubereitet. Das kostenlose Dessert passte hervorragend zu unserem Pinot Noir. Ein gelungener Abend mit exzellentem Service.

Ich will mich hier gar nicht in wildwüsten Beschreibungen ergehen: Es war absolut outstanding. Die Adler Wirtschaft bleibt dem Motto von Franz Keller treu: Vom Einfachen das Beste! Selbstgebackenes Brot, selbst hergestellte Wurst und ein Steak, das seinesgleichen suchen wird müssen und vermutlich nicht finden. Wie wir festgestellt haben, gönnen wir uns dieses Erlebnis viel, viel zu selten!

Wir waren zusammen mit der Familie hier essen. Ambiente und Service super. Riesige Weinkarte mit toller Auswahl. Das Essen war ein Traum. Super Qualität, frisch und einfach nur lecker. Portionsgröße für gute Esser, aber nicht zu viel. Preislich absolut fair, für das was man hier bekommt. Gerne wieder.

Nach einem anfänglichen Missverständnis wegen des Umstandes, dass wir nicht wussten, dass bei der Küchenkehre am letzten Tag vor der urlaubsbedingten Schließung des Restaurants nur ein 4-Gang Überraschungsmenu möglich war, wurde sehr nett und flexibel auf unsere Bedenken reagiert. Über das, was dann folgte, nämlich ein hervorragendes Menu, begleitet von Spitzenweinen und einem tollen, individuellen Service, kann man nur zwei Dinge sagen: Absolut top und professionell !! Fünf Sterne nur, weil sechs nicht möglich sind.

Ein Abend in der Adler Wirtschaft ist immer etwas ganz Besonderes. So wie auch gestern wieder. Danke dafür! Mittlerweile gehören die Besuche dort fest in unsere Jahresplanung Das Essen ist ein Highlight und der Service einfach klasse. Das Team um Franz Keller macht einen tollen Job. Ein Besuch in der Adlerwirtschaft fühlt sich an wie eine kleine kulinarische Reise in eine andere Welt. Die Küche war – wie immer – ein Erlebnis für alle Sinne und hat uns restlos begeistert. We booked an overnight stay at Haus Adler in Hattenheim and were accommodated in a converted garage. The room was musty and damp, equipped with a portable heater and a switched-off refrigerator. Overall, it felt more like a makeshift solution than a regular hotel room. A private party was taking place during our stay, which made it extremely loud and we could barely sleep. When we complained, we were simply told to use earplugs and not complain, as it was, after all, the cheapest room. In our opinion, however, this room is not suitable as a hotel room and should not be rented out in the first place. Overall, the accommodation seemed unkempt and unprepared for guests. We wouldn't give this room any stars. The only positive thing was the breakfast the next day, which, however, wasn't in this type of accommodation, but rather in a proper hotel room with friends! Conclusion: You should be careful about what you book – the reality can differ greatly from your expectations.

Of particular note is the in-house butcher shop at Falkenhof in the Taunus Mountains, where the animals are raised with great care. You can taste it in every bite! Whether it's succulent meat from the Bunten Bentheimer pig or Charolais and Limousin beef – the quality is unbeatable and makes all the difference. A true highlight for connoisseurs! We visited the Adler Restaurant in Hattenheim and enjoyed the grand Adler dinner – an absolute highlight! The quality of the food was outstanding: fresh, lovingly prepared, and of the highest quality. We were particularly impressed by the variety of courses and the perfect blend of flavors. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and warm, which made us feel completely at home. The ambiance is cozy, stylish, and inviting. The wine selection – matching the region – was also excellent. We will definitely be back and can recommend the restaurant without reservation!

An unforgettable evening. The garden offers comfortable seating under the shade of greenery, a blessing in this heat. The atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed, and the service is very attentive and friendly. The homemade goose liver parfait with Riesling jelly and homemade brioche tastes simply fantastic. The main courses, Bentheimer pork back steak and pink-roasted Falkenhof beef mince, were a delight; actually quite simple, but of the finest quality and outstanding flavor. The dessert, citrus fruit and quark mousse, was a wonderful finale... and then, as a welcome from the kitchen, a crème brûlée. Never experienced anything so good.

We have wanted to pay a visit to the Adler Wirtschaft for a long time; now it finally worked. What a great taste experience, we have rarely eaten so well and with so much pleasure. We were particularly pleased about the focus on the actual products and their perfect preparation. Together with the warm service and the selection of various open (and mature :)) wines that suited us very well, the evening was a very nice experience for us in terms of culinary and atmosphere.

An unforgettable evening in the Adlerwirtschaft Anyone who loves good food will immediately fall in love with Adlerwirtschaft. The focus here is not on overloaded bells and whistles, but rather on pure enjoyment. The kitchen impresses with outstanding dishes, all handmade and made from exquisite ingredients. You can taste in every bite that the work here is done with love and care - without any exaggerated effects or decorative frills. Our evening began with a warm welcome, accompanied by a small sandwich with homemade liver sausage from our own farm - the perfect start. This was followed by a greeting from the kitchen: house-pickled salmon on ratatouille with goat cheese cream, a wonderful combination of freshness and sophistication. The starters were equally convincing: • Bratwurst from our own farm with potato salad and green salad – a down-to-earth but incredibly delicious choice. • Beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese and caramelized walnuts – light, aromatic and perfectly balanced. The main courses were another highlight: • Fillet steak with fried potatoes, flambéed savoy cabbage, red wine jus and Béarnaise sauce – cooked to perfection, a real taste explosion. • Octopus on risotto with snow peas – tender, spicy and just perfect. At the end there were very tasty desserts: • A warm chocolate cake with mango mousse – chocolaty, fruity and irresistible. • Lemon cream with rhubarb compote and brittle – light, fresh and with a great texture. A treat from the kitchen – a crème brûlée with coconut sorbet – rounded off the evening. The service was warm and attentive, and the chef personally came to the table to greet us at the end. A wonderful gesture that shows how much passion goes into this restaurant. As a special highlight, we received a chocolate heart with a fireworks fountain on the occasion of our wedding anniversary - a lovely surprise that touched us very much. We almost burst, but it was worth every calorie. An evening we won't soon forget - the Adlerwirtschaft is a place we will definitely return to. Absolutely recommended! And yes – a word about the price: Of course, the Adlerwirtschaft is not a place for a quick restaurant visit during the week. It is a special place for special occasions – or for people who appreciate craftsmanship at the highest level. The quality of the ingredients, the care in preparation and the attention to detail justify every euro. Nevertheless, you don't get the feeling that anything here is overpriced - quite the opposite. It seems as if it is really important to the team that this special culinary experience remains accessible to as many people as possible. Sure, it can't be compared with the village pub around the corner. But: no finished products, no compromises – just real craftsmanship and a lot of passion. Anyone looking for something special, but who also appreciates down-to-earthness and authenticity, will get their money's worth here. Conclusion: An all-round successful evening. The best of simplicity. Yes, this motto is definitely true here. First a piece of bread with liver sausage from Falkenhof - you think hmm, well a piece of buttered bread. But my goodness - what a!! The piece of bread was aromatic - pleasantly light, the liver sausage was excellent and the pearl onion gave it the crunch. Then the greeting came from the kitchen. A salmon with a sophisticated aroma. Then three kinds of bread with what I consider to be divine goose fat. All of this first before the ordered starters were served. The goose liver parfait was to die for. The fillet has excellent roasted aromas on the outside and is tender and juicy on the inside. The fried potatoes couldn't be better and the counterpart, the fried chicory with the slight bitterness, made the perfect combination for me. The dessert cinnamon parfait with almond sliver crunch and cherries also formed the perfect ending. Why almost - because a creme brulee and a scoop of coconut ice cream came from the kitchen as a farewell greeting. Dear Adler team, thank you for the lovely evening. You all spoiled us with culinary delights. As a woman with a height of 187 cm, I had no problems with sitting - neither before nor after my hip surgery.

We had a wonderful evening at the ADLER WIRTSCHAFT. Very attentive and friendly staff. And delicious food. The overnight stay, with a sumptuous breakfast the next morning, was also totally relaxed and wonderful. It was also very nice that no smartphone was used at any table. Nicely furnished, but the chairs are hard and without cushions and are unsuitable for people over 185. The starter and main course were totally bad and completely incorrectly prepared, with a terse apology and deducted from the bill. Generally overpriced for what it is.

Great respect for the cook and the kitchen help, it's sensational what can be done here with so few people. We came into the restaurant hungry and thirsty, left full and cheerful. What an experience! We were recently able to spend a fantastic evening in the Adler Wirtschaft, which we will remember for a long time. A cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere is combined with phenomenal food and a great selection of wines. There are people of conviction at work here: really good ingredients are transformed into small delicacies with a lot of skill in the kitchen. Bohei is avoided and the focus is instead placed on the food. This tastes good and pleases!

We've been wanting to eat there for some time and now the opportunity arose. We were thrilled. Exceptional food and service. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the excellent food. We'll be back!

The eagle economy has long been a goal. Good read. And the food was actually excellent, even if there wasn't that much on the menu. Starters good and sufficient, entrecôte unusually good, that's the philosophy behind home-raised beef. You can rarely order steak rare in Germany, here you can. The only vegetarian option was also very good. You have to wait, but it's worth it. Price is reasonable. Good atmosphere.

Normally I'm too lazy to write a review, but in this case I just have to. We stayed one night in the Adler Wirtschaft and everything was to our complete satisfaction. The welcome was very warm and the boss and staff were very friendly. Check-in and check-out went completely smoothly. The room was super clean and equipped with everything your heart could desire. Even water and a fruit plate were available. Always my pleasure.

A visit after many, many years immediately brought back memories and confirmed the constant quality of the house! The dishes impress with a subtle aromatic composition, an exciting play of sweetness and saltiness, varied textures and well-seasoned sauces. In particular, the artichoke hearts combined with broad beans was a brilliant idea. The charming, calm service was highly competent (especially in the wine advice) and created a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere.

It’s a nice restaurant but overall I was a bit disappointed. Service took 5 hours! That’s ridiculous even with our extensive ordering. Food is ok (starters were fine but nothing really memorable, no expensive ingredients to justify the price of EUR 95/head; my main was a fairly plain and super fatty pork steak - wrong choice perhaps; others with octopus were happier). And yeah it isn’t cheap…like 70% of a Michelin-star place in this part of the world.

We slept one night in a 10 m2 room including a bathroom. You could have breakfast in your room for 15 euros per person. got brought. But we didn't want that. We didn't eat in the restaurant either, so I'll only rate the room. Parking lots available. The room is ok for one or 2 nights, but not for a week.

We have been coming here every year since 2020 and have never been disappointed. The same happened yesterday: the quality of the food is impeccable and, contrary to some other reviews here, I am a fan of the calm and absolutely appetizing delicacies. The big eagle meal is a challenge; you shouldn't have eaten too much beforehand. But quality and taste have been at a very high level for years. Whether it's salmon with wasabi yoghurt, cold cauliflower soup, fresh potato bread or steak - it's a treat for me. Secret favorite: the blood sausage. Splendid! The selection of drinks is also impressive, and the sommelier advises with heart, expertise and a lot of humor. The service is generally professional, attentive and unobtrusive. When there is a lot going on, there are occasional outliers here and there. But these were mostly made up for with a smile. Thumbs up. One can argue about the attitude of the Adlerwirtschaft. I personally also have difficulty with fillet being cooked through, it is a decision made here to deny guests this request. One criticism I agree with is that it's not so comfortable to sit here, sometimes you get into trouble with your neighbors and the chairs in the interior really aren't particularly comfortable. Priced at a rather high but adequate level (and the same for years), we also spent a wonderful evening here on our fifth visit. A clear recommendation from me. We'll be back next year too. Nice economy. The food is exceptional and not standard. Mostly excellent. As a vegetarian, I had the eggplant schnitzel as my main course. This one wasn't quite as good as the rest. I didn't have enough of a kick. The prices are rather high. Very good service.

We were there with friends, ate everything from the menu and everyone enjoyed it. But the prices are completely exorbitant! You have to like the shabby atmosphere in many places with uncomfortable chairs without cushions, tables in need of restoration and musty air in the room; we didn't like it! The staff is very friendly and attentive; We would have preferred a little less show and quick sayings. The parking situation is very tense, the best way to get there is on foot.

Our visit to the Adlerwirtschaft was a culinary experience that will be remembered, especially since we had the opportunity to visit on the day it opened. When I arrived with my family, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The atmosphere was welcoming and very pleasant. Despite the opening and the associated reduced menu, the selection given was excellent. What is particularly noteworthy is that in addition to the regular menu, additional dishes for children were offered. My children decided on fries (cheese spaetzle or potato salad would also have been available) Each dish was a small work of art and lovingly presented. The food came in a reasonable time. The combination of excellent food, a child-friendly environment and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it an ideal place for family meals or simply to share good times with loved ones. We are already looking forward to our next visit. :-)

A bit unexpected, but really good. When I entered the Adler restaurant, I expected good, but more rustic food. But perhaps you shouldn't let the interior design influence you too much. The food, we had the large menu called Adleressen, was absolutely top. The starters in particular were all convincing in terms of taste and beautifully crafted. It's difficult to name a favorite. If I still had to, it would probably be the black pudding. And the Bernaise sauce for the prime rib. It turns every skeptic into a fan. The service was also great - attentive, nice touch of humor and professional. If I now put the prices in relation to the quality offered: Top!

Wonderful. We opted for the 3-course menu. For the main course we chose an entrecoute. All courses were perfect. The service was also attentive and pleasantly friendly. We felt very comfortable in the rustic atmosphere by the crackling fire. Thank you very much for this lovely evening.

One of the best locations in the Rheingau! Service from Julian and Torsten was impeccable as always - cool and uncomplicated. The Adlerwirtschaft is great at making fine cuisine accessible! The food is excellent, we have rarely experienced such great hosts. We're always happy to come back!

Wir haben hier nach einer Weinwanderung übernachtet. Die Zummer waren gemütlich eingerichtet, alles da. Frühstück auf dem Zimmer (15,-€) war sehr umfangreich und lecker!
