We got married on June 22nd, 2024 in the Klostermühle and thanks to Ms. Witte and the entire team we were able to experience our absolute dream wedding. Starting with the wedding ceremony in the beautiful rose garden, through the champagne reception in the cozy courtyard to the big party in the ballroom. We felt incredibly comfortable and our guests were also completely thrilled - the food was particularly praised. We were able to clarify everything with Ms. Witte in advance so that everything went smoothly on the day :) Many thanks again to the great team at Klostermühle for this perfect day!

After visiting the Van Volxem winery and tasting wine, I got hungry and was recommended Klostermühle, a small hotel and restaurant. I was kindly offered a place at reception, even though everything was reserved. I tried the classic Mülleri Art and I really liked it. Very refined atmosphere, quiet, and a real good service. The prices are ok, I spent 37 euros, including a jug (0.25l) of their local Riesling. I recommend it to everyone.

We celebrated our wedding on July 13th and were absolutely thrilled! The buffet was simply fantastic, with a wide range of delicious dishes to suit every taste. The staff was extremely attentive, very friendly and did an extremely good job. The atmosphere was simply wonderful. We were able to enjoy our celebration to the fullest and concentrate fully on the celebration because the restaurant team took care of everything. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant and give it a deserved 5 stars!

As a bride and groom, we only looked at one wedding location and knew immediately that it was a good fit. Our wedding there last Saturday showed that we made the right decision, or in other words: Klostermühle is playing in the Champions League of wedding locations. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is amazing and Catharina the owner is a great, warm person. Our guests have told us several times how beautiful they find the location. If the guests ever had a wish, it was immediately fulfilled (e.g. spaghetti for the children before the buffet opened). Ultimately, you didn't have to worry about anything going wrong because the whole team worked really well together. Thank you very much for a great wedding celebration!

I was a wedding guest at the Klostermühle on Friday and was very impressed with the location. The ambience is really romantic and cozy. In addition to a terrace, there is a garden adjacent to the hall, so there were enough places to retreat, which contributed to a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Since I react very sensitively to acoustic stimuli, I immediately noticed the good acoustics in the hall. Despite many different conversations at the tables, it was very pleasant to communicate with each other. The staff was very attentive and friendly and kept asking about drink requests. You really never had to wait any longer and I felt well served. The buffet was also very tasty and there was really something for everyone. I will definitely recommend the Klostermühle to friends who want to get married.

My husband and I had a wonderful wedding celebration here on Friday with 55 guests, which left no wish unfulfilled. The management was always available and open to spontaneous changes, for example we were offered another area in the shade when it got very warm. All the guests raved about the food and the beautiful location, we also took advantage of the hotel rooms on site and were very satisfied, including with the cozy breakfast the next morning. We can therefore only recommend the Klostermühle!

In addition to the entries about the wedding on June 29, 24, the following should be mentioned. The ambience is great, nothing more. An example: The cheapest water from a cheap discount store was placed on the outside counter in small plastic bottles ready for collection. Not beautifully presented in a carafe with lemons or something similar. In the interior - also very nice - the windows could only be folded up. The result was stuffy air, and even the fans that were installed later couldn't do much about it. The main meal was ok, but only ok. The service staff stood behind the counter all evening with a dismissive expression on their faces, probably hoping not to be spoken to. The good thing about the wedding was that despite all these unpleasant events, the afternoon until early morning was incredibly beautiful. But this is entirely thanks to the team effort and the energetic passion of the entire wedding party.

Yes, everything has become more expensive, you have to go along with it, pub logic, food prices are dubious. Overpriced food is offered with little resources. Menu like a year ago, limited selection. No, it's not worth going there, even if it's nice outside when the weather is (only) nice, but on old hard iron folding inn chairs on paving stones, tables and chairs wobble uncomfortably. I was recently a guest at a wedding at Klostermühle and unfortunately I have to say that the experience was extremely disappointing. The organization was unprofessional, the staff overwhelmed and unhelpful. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. In addition, the event room was overheated and the windows could not be opened, which made the atmosphere very unpleasant. Overall, the location was far below expectations and had a major impact on the bride and groom's special day.

I went to the Klostermühle in Kiedrich with my boyfriend for our anniversary. There were 15 people in the cabinet and we had a great evening. Ms. Witte was very nice and answered all of our questions. He answered my many questions very kindly and gave me very good advice! The food was also super tasty and the staff was friendly. We were very satisfied all around and would love to come back! And a walk in the vineyards afterwards is super romantic!

I don't even know where to start. I was there on June 29, 2024 as a maid of honor at a wedding. The location itself is nice, but pretty unkempt. When we arrived the bride was shocked because nothing had been done yet. After the supposed "basic cleaning" there were still cobwebs under several chairs, several pillows were dirty and the broken chair that we had already noted was back in its place. So the cleaning lady was asked about it. The fact that I had concerns about the buffet room after this basic cleaning and after the bride had asked me to check everything was rejected by the management, Mrs. Witte, who was very annoyed, so that she even complained to the other maid of honor and kindly said about me " If the pregnant woman says anything else, it will crack, which I think is an absolute no-go! If you can't handle criticism, then you shouldn't work in the catering industry! But my concerns were not without their doubts, because all the cobwebs that were in the buffet room remained there, as did the stains on the floor. There were also cobwebs in the bride and groom's bedroom, as well as on all the windows in the banquet hall, so hygiene is apparently not the strong point of this restaurant. Ms. Witte's "friendliness" continued to show, for example when she scolded the photographer because she asked if she could take photos of the bride and groom in the rose garden. There was a rusty ladder in the Tuscany garden all the time that could have been put away. The area of ​​the rose garden where the bride and groom were supposed to stand wasn't even swept; the groom had to do that himself and also try to somehow fill the hole right in front of it. At the champagne reception, the only non-alcoholic drink offered was water, not even orange juice. You were allowed to go to the buffet table by table, which meant that the last table was only allowed to eat when the others had already finished. I've never seen anything like this in over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry. It was so stiflingly warm in the ballroom that most of the guests ate outside. If you offer events in the summer, you should probably think about air-conditioning the rooms. Luckily it rained in the evening, otherwise the party would probably be over by 9 p.m. because you definitely wouldn't have been able to dance in the heat. The rain was also noticeable in the ballroom because the roof was leaking and it was dripping in. I really can't understand the positive reviews. For me it is definitely not recommended.

My favorite winery in the region! The ambience just feels at home and the rose garden is incredibly beautiful :) I'm always happy to come by for a glass of Pinot Gris or for the best grape juice there is <3

A friend had already celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary here and recommended the restaurant to us. We were not disappointed 😊 The courtyard is beautifully and tropically designed, you feel like you are in Italy.

We celebrated our wedding in the Klostermühle in June. It was a perfect day all around, which we owe not least to the entire Klostermühle team and, above all, to the host and main contact, Ms. Witte. In addition to the wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere, the food prepared in the in-house restaurant is particularly noteworthy (excellent quality regional and seasonal cuisine). Our wedding buffet was the ultimate pleasure trip, chapó! In addition, even short-term challenges (e.g. organizing an additional selection of cakes) were handled flexibly and independently by the Klostermühle team. Outside in the courtyard the table was set for confirmation. Good ambience and friendly staff. A recited poem by Mr. Ringelnatz, read by the owner, opened our meal. The asparagus menu was extremely delicious and very filling. Crunchy asparagus with delicious Hollandaise sauce spoiled us culinary. A Riesling from the house made our hearts beat faster. Highly Recommended! Always my pleasure.

We weren't there to eat. We didn't get anything to drink either. The musical winter came to an end here. It wasn't well organized at all. We've had better experiences elsewhere and won't be going to this event there again.

I've eaten well in many places. This is good at the highest level. The slowly braised ox cheeks melt in your mouth and the side dishes are on point. The fish of the day is sensational and the side dishes are fantastic here too. The dessert is to die for. The wine selection leaves nothing to be desired. Service and ambience are at star level. The prices are reasonable and fair. We'll definitely be back.

The service was mostly good, but unfortunately we didn't feel very welcome per person. The food was OK, but not really tasty. We liked the atmosphere. I can't say anything about the hotel, we only went for dinner as a stopover while hiking. Good: open all day.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind traumhaft und wir konnten die Organisation ruhigen Gewissens in die erfahrenen Hände von Catharina & Lorenz und ihrem Team geben. Auch bei überraschenden Situationen haben wir an der Hochzeitsfeier immer eine spontane Lösung gefunden. Die Mitarbeiter/innen vom Service sind großartig und haben zu einem reibungslosen Ablauf unserer Hochzeit beigetragen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ließ bei uns und unseren Gästen keine Wünsche offen. Neben den transparenten & wirklich fairen Preisen runden die 6 gemütlichen Gästezimmer die optimalen Rahmenbedinungen in der Klostermühle für eine Hochzeitsfeier ab. Die Klostermühle steht für mich für ein vornildliches Restaurant im Rheingau. Da steht zu allererst eine sehr gut sortierte Weinkarte die keinen Wunsch offen lässt. Die Küche bedient auch mühelos gehobene kulunarische Ansprüche. Mein Favorit ist der Ziegenkäse. Zum Wein empfehlenswert sind auch der Handkäse und der Spundekäs. In dem Haus kann der Besucher aber auch getrost auf den Rat der fachkundigen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern vertrauen. Auch nach vielen Besuchen habe ich nie einen Reinfall erleben müssen. Noch ein Naachtrag:. Das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln sind ebenfalls ein Traum

Ein schönes kleines Hotel. Die Lage schön ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse an den Weinbergen. Sehr nette Bedienung und guter Service, sehr nette Gastgeber . Leckeres Essen und guter Wein. Die Zimmer angenehm groß und gut eingereicht. Hier sollte jedoch die Reinigungskraft mal an die Hand genommen werden;-) Bis zum Rhein sind es zu Fuß ca 20 Min.zur Stadt 15 Min. In der Umgebung sind schöne Städte und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gerne kommen wir noch mal wieder.

Wir waren 2 Tage in der Klostermühle und es hat uns supergut dort gefallen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, es gibt einen wunderschönen , mediterranen Innenhof, leckeres Essen , schönes Restaurant mit gemütlichen Eckbänken, beim Frühstück konnte man Wünsche äußern, der Chef ist total nett und lustig..,wir haben schöne, unbeschwerte Stunden dort verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten das Glück unsere Hochzeit in der Klostermühle feiern zu dürfen und wenn ich 6 Sterne vergeben könnte würde ich das tun. Essen, Getränke, Location, Zimmer und Service haben den Tag wunderschön und unvergesslich gemacht. Großes Lob an das Team! Bis bald :)

Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen und sind rundum zufrieden. Als Vorspeise haben wir das Kürbiscremesüppchen gewählt und die hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Mein Hauptgericht war Ochsenbäckchen mit Kürbis-Süsskartoffelpürree und Wurzelgemüse und das war einfach Klasse! Dazu einen roten Spätburgunder (trocken) aus dem eigenen Weingut. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Der Weg dorthin lohnt sich, auch wenn es etwas außerhalb liegt.

Wir haben vor einer Woche eine wunderschöne Hochzeit mit Freier Trauung in der Klostermühle feiern dürfen. Die Location ist wie geschaffen für eine Hochzeit. Der Festsaal eignet sich sehr gut und der Rosengarten ist super für eine Freie Trauung. Das Essen, die Weine und nicht zuletzt die Servicekräfte waren spitze. Unsere Gäste und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Zimmer sind stilgerecht eingerichtet und das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Die Betreuung durch Frau Witte war sehr gut. Für jedes Problem wurde schnell und unkompliziert eine Lösung gefunden. Auch der Wunsch nach einer Zeltüberdachung für die Freie Trauung, aufgrund des unsicheren Wetters, konnte zu unserer Zufriedenheit kurzfristig entsprochen werden. Wir haben Mitte September unsere Hochzeit mit über 90 Gästen in der Klostermühle gefeiert. Der Ablauf hat reibungslos funktioniert, besonders hervorzuheben ist das Servicepersonal und auch das Essen hat unsere Gäste begeistert. Die Location an sich gibt optisch bereits viel her, so dass man gar nicht allzu viel Deko benötigt. Der Rosengarten bietet außerdem einen tollen Rahmen für eine freie Trauung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort heiraten, wenn wir uns nochmal entscheiden müssten.

Hotel - Restaurant Klostermühle, ein komplett Konzept was in allen Bereichen stimmt. Hier kommt deine Seele zur Ruhe und dein Lebenswille wird aufgebaut durch eine tolle Vielfalt an Weinen und durch eine spitzen Küche. Der Küchenchef versteht die Rheingauer Küche einzigartig zu präsentieren. Frische Produkte, mit viel Liebe zubereitet und immer grandios angerichtet. Abendessen sonntags, 6er-Gruppe, im Außenbereich. Das Ambiente im Innenhof ist schön und ansprechend. Das Holz des Mobiliars im Außenbereich war deutlich verwittert, aber man konnte gut sitzen. Unser Tisch war im Bereich der Grundstücks-Einfahrt unmittelbar vor einer hohen Hecke. Bei jedem Luftzug roch es dort dezent störend nach Heizöl, was jeden Genuss deutlich beeinträchtigte. Gäste, die weiter entfernt im Innenhof saßen, dürften wohl keine Beeinträchtigung bemerkt haben. Das Essen war ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Vom Salat-Dressing war geschmacklich nichts wahrnehmbar. Das wurde vor Ort kritisiert, die Antwort war aber eher eine wenig hilfreiche Beschreibung eines Problems. Bei dem von uns mehrfach bestellten "Schnitzel Pfifferlinge" fand 1 Person das Fleisch zu trocken, bei allen waren die Schnitzel auf dem Teller obenauf und als "Abdeckung" für die Beilagen verwendet worden. Ich mag das nicht, wenn ich zuerst mal auf dem Teller umsortieren muss. Die ausgelobten Bratkartoffeln waren mit der Rahmsauce vermengt – leider. Die Weine waren ok, einer war richtig gut. Der Service war "knorrig". Unerfreulich war der Umgang mit dem Thema "Gutschein": ein Gutschein kann bei diesem Betrieb nur vor Ort und nur mit Barzahlung erworben werden. Und nachdem wir im Vorfeld diese reichlich umständliche Hürde genommen hatten, erfuhren wir bei der Bezahlung, dass man die Einlösung eines Gutscheins schon bei der Bestellung von Getränken und Essen ankündigen soll/muss (siehe "knorrig"). Eigenartig. Fazit: Dieser Besuch blieb leider deutlich unter unseren Erwartungen.

Das Essen und die Getränke waren super lecker. Die Location hat uns und unsere Gäste begeistert. Es war ein rundum gelungener Tag - für uns perfekt - und wir würden es immer wieder so machen.
