Best Greek restaurant in Greifswald.

We came here on a recommendation. It wasn't very busy when we stopped in for dinner. We got the menus ourselves because the waiter apparently thought it was time to chat with the guests at the entrance. The stuffed pork fillet with feta, onions, and peppers looked very juicy at first glance, and the first three pieces were, too. By the time we got to the middle, the meat juices were on the plate, and the meat was dry. You could barely taste or notice any of the filling. There was a salad plate to start with, with carrots, Julien's iceberg lettuce, and a yogurt sauce on the main course of meat with a single lettuce leaf. It could have been left out entirely. Croquettes were okay, and so were the beans. The child had nuggets with fries, which looked like they'd get from McDonald's. He wanted ketchup and mayo, but all he got was ketchup, and that in a small package. While three people had already finished eating, another waiter cleared the empty plates, but one was still eating. A bit rude in my opinion. There was only one ouzo to start with, and then no more. At other Greek restaurants, I'm used to getting at least three. To pay for the meal, a friend had to ask the waiter directly that we were happy to pay. We were ignored beforehand, and even asked if we wanted something to drink. They didn't even ask if we enjoyed our meal. The ambience was bright and inviting, but the decorations were a bit too cold. So, I probably wouldn't recommend the restaurant, as I'm a chef myself. The ambience doesn't make up for the service and the food, which are the most important factors. Sorry, but this was the worst Greek restaurant I've ever had.

Beautiful restaurant, with nice outdoor seating. Parking is available in front of the door. Very friendly and prompt service. Excellent food. Good value for money. Clean restrooms, a very nice, large indoor dining area, and the terrace is also large, beautiful, and covered.

So, we're visiting Greifswald and were really craving Greek food (gyros with Metaxa sauce, topped with cheese, fries, and rice). My partner and I wanted to sit a little off to the side, as we don't like crowds and a loud atmosphere. This wasn't a problem so far, and we got a nice spot a little off to the side with a view outside. Now, on to the food. We were there and ordered. At first, we had the feeling they'd forgotten us in the slightly off-the-side seats, even though someone was constantly walking by. When the food arrived after about 40 minutes, we were happy, right up until the first bite! The gyro was black, burnt, and bitter! I hesitated and continued eating, thinking it might have been just one piece. It lingered throughout the entire portion! Extremely disappointed for €22 per portion. I didn't get the ouzo as a nightcap after paying the bill, and we left the shop 20 minutes after paying. No goodbye, nothing at all! NEVER AGAIN!

The food was terrible. Nobody cooks there, and the food is never fresh. They can't even reheat the food properly. I found it awful.

The staff is friendly, fun with the kids, and always welcoming. The lamb fillet is always delicious, and the ouzo is, of course, delicious! The restaurant is worth a visit!

We were hoping for more. It was so-so. The bread was somehow inedible, incredibly hard and dry. My husband's meat was fine, and the fries and gyro weren't so tasty. My salad was very bland and drenched in oil. The rice and tzatziki were good, but you don't need to go there for that. We were disappointed. Alcohol was brought to our table without asking. As non-drinkers, we found it strange, but others might enjoy it. The price/performance ratio wasn't quite right for us.

This place offers nothing conducive to a pleasant evening. The food was okay. The so-called head waiter wasn't okay. This person should change jobs. Asking the customer if they're broke and insulting them is completely unacceptable! If a restaurant doesn't want to make money and is only used to the same clientele, it should close. As for the head waiter, he should change jobs. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The service was friendly and fairly quick. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also okay—nothing special, but pleasant. Our three-year-old spent most of his time in the well-equipped children's play area—there were plenty of toys. Unfortunately, the shashlik was quite dry, and the portion of tzatziki was too small to complement the entire meal. We had to reorder for about €5.

The staff was very overwhelmed and shortly after opening. When you were greeted, the waiter asked you if you couldn't cook. Ordering drinks was very quick and then we had to wait almost an hour before we could order our food. When paying, the money (including the tip) was snatched out of my hand. When leaving the restaurant you had to leave quickly and the waiter said I had to work here. I actually liked going to this Greek restaurant, saying you can't cook or ripping the tip out of your hand is a bold move on the part of the waiter, this seat seems to be on a pretty high horse.

Staff friendly. Apparently understaffed or whatever. Everything took forever, they couldn't see anything, the glasses stayed empty for a long time. My food was completely messed up. If I had let it go back, I probably would have gotten a replacement when they were all finished. The salad was also a no-go, the taste was far better elsewhere. Cocktails as well... We were there yesterday with 5 adults + 2 children. The restaurant is very busy which is okay. We had a lot of time and wanted to enjoy the evening. We waited 30 minutes to place a drink order. Our food came after 1 1/2 hours. 🫣 Service a -5 because you weren't asked again whether drinks were technically allowed. Being on the ball is something different. Very noisy atmosphere. Food okay but nothing spectacular and given the prices and service I won't think again. It's a shame.....🤷‍♀️ You'll earn more money with more rounds

Yeah, it's pretty good ;) Well, you can't really go wrong with the lamb fillet, but the others were good too. For people from Hamburg, for example, in the "east" everything is cooked through, you have to say medium, in HH it's the other way around...just for your information PS: you can order any dish as a senior plate, which will be a bit smaller, but many will be just as full and will still have enough left for the barrel, good!

No star. Waited over an hour for the food. Food didn't taste good, didn't eat. When I told the waiter this and ordered something else, he asked me if I wanted to take the food with me...communication was zero. Still ordered something else and never again. I will never visit it again. Never again.

We were there 1 week ago. The staff wasn't really friendly, seemed more than annoyed. The food tasted quite good so far, but unfortunately it was very carelessly prepared. A few slices of cucumber and tomato would have made the whole thing look a little nicer. Fries and nuggets were also slapped onto the plate very carelessly. The salad at the beginning was just ice cream with a cheap yogurt dressing It's a shame, you can do better

Staff wasn't unfriendly, but very neutral, a little smile wouldn't hurt. It is very loud in the restaurant because of its size. The salad beforehand was 90% just iceberg lettuce with cheap yoghurt sauce, there was no tzatziki or bread on the table. Main courses were good but nothing special. You can go there sometimes, but overall there are better Greeks.

The restaurant offers plenty of space outside with a roof and there is also plenty of space inside. The service was very nice and accommodating. The selection is very diverse and the food tastes very good. We felt very comfortable and bringing a dog was no problem here either. We had dinner there at the beginning of February. The garlic potatoes were too salty and the lamb fillet gratinated number 106 was a joke! For almost €30, I expect a good portion of lamb fillet to end up on the plate. We will no longer visit this restaurant. The price for this is an outrage and there is no excuse.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was really great. The service was very friendly and we had to wait for the food. But it was reasonable in terms of the waiting time.

It was a very successful evening. The portions of the starters were a bit small for the price. But everything was very tasty. Only recommended.

We eat at the Acropolis very often, but the food has gotten significantly worse. The side salad was just cheeky, 3 leaves of lettuce and a little coleslaw, an olive. Or rather, two bites with a fork empty of straw. The salad dressing was watery. The extra Metaxa sauce for over 4 euros is not even 1 cm in a small cup. The food is of poor quality and very greasy. In the case of the broad beans with sheep's cheese, the beans were actually all burnt and the sheep's cheese was draped more like a small parsley decoration (here too, 2 cm long x 1 cm wide and 1 cm high, but rather outrageous. The total price was definitely far too high for the quantity and poor quality. It's a shame for the messed up evening with 5 long faces.

Wir waren am 15.12.23 dort um Familiengeburtstag zu feiern und mussten 2h auf unser Essen warten, was dann nicht einmal besonders lecker gewesen ist. Für die Kinder war es besonders anstrengend so lange auf das Essen zu warten. Es gab leider auch kein Entgegenkommen, absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr leckeres griechisches Restaurant. Die Preise wirken hier und da vielleicht etwas happig aber auch die mussten Situationsbedingt angepasst werden. Allerdings ist jedes Gericht seinen Preis absolut wert. Es sind sehr große Portionen, die sehr gut gewürzt sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man erhält zum Getränk einen kostenfreien Ouzo. Wenn sehr viel Betrieb an Besuchern vorhanden ist, kann es ab und an etwas länger dauern, bis man sein essen erhält. Die längste Wartezeit, die ich auf mein Essen hatte betrug eine Stunde. Aber alles in allem ist es ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit freundlichen Personal.

Lecker und sehr freundlich auf eine lustige Art. Immer wieder ein Genuss!

Trotz vollem Haus (es war kein Tisch mehr frei) ist die Bedienung schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und kam auch sehr schnell.
