We ate authentic and delicious Indian food at this restaurant. The service was very good, and I found everything to be absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Disappointed. I've been to this restaurant several times. And I was happy to come back here. Unfortunately, on January 30, my birthday, as usual, we visited this place. Unfortunately, it was my last time. The service, i.e. the waiter, is a failure. Arrogant and downright rude behavior towards us. He served us with such reluctance, so rudely. He answered questions discouragingly, so as not to ask any more questions. I will mention that there were not many customers in the restaurant. Definitely this restaurant needs to change the waiter

Als ich dieses Restaurant das letzte Mal besuchte, fand ich das Essen und das Restaurant so faszinierend, dass ich dieses Mal wie immer wieder dort war. Ich habe es genossen, leckeres indisches Essen mit perfektem Geschmack zu essen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wirklich jedem empfehlen.

Das Butterhuhn war reichhaltig, cremig und perfekt gewürzt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Restaurants und das freundliche Personal sorgen für ein großartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis. Genießen Sie die gesamte Atmosphäre.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Toller Service. Tolle Atmosphäre und vor allem ist es dort vergleichsweise ruhig. Die Preise sind wirklich toll. Der Geschmack des Essens ist der Hauptgedanke bei der Erwähnung von Chicken Tikka, nach dem ich mich immer sehne, und Chicken Madras mit Naan ist mein Favorit.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen. Portion war auch genau richtig so. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in Allem wars echt super!

Ich hatte ein tolles Erlebnis in diesem indischen Restaurant! Das Chicken Korma war reichhaltig, cremig und vollgepackt mit Geschmack - absolut köstlich. Zusammen mit dem Knoblauch-Naan, das perfekt weich und aromatisch war, und dem Basmati-Reis, der leicht und duftend war, war es eine perfekte Mahlzeit. Ich habe auch das Punjabi Thali probiert, und es war eine köstliche Kombination von Aromen; die Portionen waren großzügig, und der Service war herzlich und einladend. Sehr zu empfehlen für jeden, der sich nach echten indischen Aromen sehnt!

I went there around 9 PM on January 1st, and the restaurant was empty. When I asked if I could sit down, the man at the counter told me that if I was alone, I couldn’t sit and basically threw me out of his restaurant. What a shame! I found a place on Frankfurter Allee, an Indian restaurant, where they treated me wonderfully. When I passed by the original place around 11 PM, it was still open and empty. It's clear to me that I will never set foot in that place again. Such terrible customer service!

I've been here several times. We always eat here on Christmas Day. Makes it less stressful at home. Really very good food, great price-performance ratio, nice service. I can recommend it without reservation.

I recently visited this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was utterly unacceptable. First, the service was atrocious. The waiters were rude and unprofessional, especially the older one, who blatantly ignored us as if we were invisible. Not once did anyone check on us, offer any help, or show even a hint of politeness. The atmosphere was equally dismal. The table had no lamp or any form of decor, leaving the space feeling cold and uninviting, which perfectly matched the freezing temperature of the restaurant itself. And then came the food. Absolutely horrible. It was served cold, tasteless, and unappetizing as though it had been sitting out for hours before reaching our table. When we tried to bring this up, the staff couldn’t have cared less. Overall, this was a truly disgusting and disappointing experience. The service was terrible, the atmosphere miserable, and the food inedible. I will never return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that respects its customers.

Today I visited this restaurant with my sister . It was my worst experience. No welcoming staff, no lights on tables, rude and inattentive staff. I ordered bhatura, chana masala and paneer jalfrezi whole food was not hot and paneer jalfrezi was sweet like sugar, when I called to waiters to change paneer jalfrezi , he did not listen and ignore us then another staff member came and take it back but again it was same like sugar. Moreover , my sister ordered Mango colada, which was tastless. Last but not the least, when I was paying my bill then waiter gave the bill and left the card machine on my table and I paid my bill myself from machine and keep my receipt with me and his receipt on the table. He even didn't care about the bill and the card machine. Extremely bad treatment from staff. I want to give 0 review for service but there is no option of zero. I will never visit this place again and never recommend others here. Don't waste your money here.

Best Indian food we've ever had! Super attentive staff (I wear a headscarf and got a juice shot instead of the classic nightcap). Nice big portion, super seasoned, really tasty. I also thought it was great that there were extra children's portions.

Das Chana Masala ist so lecker und das Knoblauch-Naan passt perfekt dazu, das Ambiente ist herrlich und die Bedienung ist immer freundlich. Ein Pflichtbesuch.

Food is really good and good quantity

We were visiting and stopped there for dinner. A very nice atmosphere with courteous service, fair prices and delicious food. We were pleasantly surprised and didn't regret the visit. We had a lovely evening there and can recommend the restaurant.

We were there several times and also used the take away. The food is good, but unfortunately it is noticeable that the waiters are very unfriendly. The older one always seems disinterested and another waiter complicated my order requests and was completely unwilling to fulfill them. The impression remained that they were perhaps arrogant when dealing with women. Service: 0 stars!

I had dinner at the restaurant with my family today. We were shown to our table and the menus were immediately on the table! A lavish menu, large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as other starters and desserts. The food was prepared quickly and came to the table straight away. Hearty meal! Very tasty and super tasty. We had: cashew cream sauce with room cheese and rice with all sorts of vegetables. We were very happy with our meal. The portion size was more than enough! There was also dessert, ice cream, mango cream and tea. Everything fine ! We remained very happy with the service as they were quick, attentive and courteous. Therefore deserves all 5 stars!!!

One of the worst services I have experienced in Berlin. Since we arrived the server had a horrible attitude towards us. At the end of our visit, still with a full cup of coffee, the guy asked us to leave the table. There were just 3 tables taken in the whole restaurant.

HORIBLE SERVICE! I’ve never been in a restaurant with such an unfriendly staff!! Even though the restaurant was completely empty, they didn’t wanted to give us a table. We were able to stay after insisting. Anyway, I would never go there again and would also not recommend it to anybody! There are so many good and friendly Indian restaurants in Berlin, don’t waste your time and money here!

My current favorite Indian! I've tried many other Indian restaurants in the area, but none of them had such a good combination of friendly service, delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. And that's still the case - I was finally here again today for years and was able to convince myself of it.

We were in Aastha on December 28th, 2023 as part of a visit to Berlin. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic, the tables and the entire restaurant are super clean. The lunch menu with 9 dishes is more than plentiful - the taste is excellent and the quantity is more than sufficient. The service was friendly but unobtrusive 👍 The evening menu leaves nothing to be desired and is absolutely affordable in terms of price. The cocktail cake invites you to linger in the restaurant for a long time. We'd love to come back.

We have already ordered here a few times. The food is okay as long as it stays in the bowl and doesn't spill out 4/5 times. If you call, all you get is a wild Indian who can barely speak German. There was no apology and no replacement either. There are enough alternatives in Berlin and Aastha isn't that good either. The butter chicken isn't really a hit. The garlic naan is hard (and therefore old).

Die Samosas sind eine fantastische Vorspeise, mit einer köstlichen Füllung aus Kartoffeln, Erbsen und Gewürzen. Hier erlebt man die authentische indische Küche in ihrer besten Form!

Das Aastha Restaurant in Berlin ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert! Ihr Biryani ist ein Highlight, mit duftendem Basmatireis und zartem Fleisch oder Gemüse, perfekt gewürzt und voller Aromen. Das köstliche Gulab Jamun ist ein süßer Abschluss, mit warmen Milchbällchen in Zuckersirup. Hier erlebt man eine wunderbare Mischung aus authentischen indischen Aromen und herzhaften Gerichten!

Pretty average in all regards. Staff had no interest in customer service. When asked to recommend some good vegetarian dish, he simply turned the menu page to veg section and asked me to select one by myself. I ordered paneer jalfarezi and it was loaded with sugar. Didn't taste even one bit like a spicy (as it was mentioned) dish.

My recent visit to Aastha Restaurant was unfortunately far from the positive experience I had hoped for. Intrigued by its appealing decor, I entered the restaurant with anticipation, only to be met with disappointment. The gentleman in charge of serving, despite being the face of the establishment, appeared disinterested and lacking any enthusiasm to provide service. This initial encounter set an unwelcome tone for the rest of my visit. Opting for the tomato soup and aloo paratha, I was taken aback when the dishes arrived on chipped and worn cutlery. The presentation was immediately unimpressive. Moreover, the taste of the food left much to be desired, falling short of my expectations. Typically, accompaniments are served with the paratha, but when I inquired about them, the same unenthusiastic gentleman informed me of an additional charge. Given the substandard quality of the food I had already received, I chose not to waste any more money. Considering the sparse crowd at the restaurant, I anticipated efficient service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The lack of promptness and the presence of mosquitoes, further diminishing the dining experience. Regrettably, my visit to Aastha left me disheartened. The indifferent service, unappetizing food, and various other shortcomings, including the pest issue, make this establishment an improper representation of India and its rich culinary culture. I departed with a sense of dissatisfaction, eager to find an alternative that truly captures the essence of authentic Indian cuisine.

Essen war soweit in Ordnung und die Preise gehen auch, allerdings musste man sehr lang auf sein Essen und am Ende auch auf die Rechnung warten... die Bedienung war zudem ziemlich unfreundlich. Ich würde nicht nochmal hingehen...

An einem Samstagabend wurden zur Selbstabholung bestellt: eine Gemüsesuppe sowie Paneer Jhalfrezi. Das Essen war - wie angekündigt - nach 30 Minuten abholbereit. Die Suppe hätte ein paar Gewürze mehr vertragen, war mir persönlich geschmacklich etwas zu neutral. Das Hauptgericht hingegen nahezu perfekt, sehr lecker, vom Schärfegrad her optimal. Die Berliner sind sehr zu beneiden um die Vielzahl an richtig guten indischen Restaurants in der Stadt.

Wohlschmeckendes Essen, gute Auswahl. Guter und freundlicher Service. Unser als scharf gekennzeichnetes Essen hätte ruhig noch etwas schärfer sein können. Wir sassen im Biergarten, der eigentlich recht schön ist. Jedoch der Blick auf Sperrmüll oder überfüllte Mülltonnen trübte den Aufenthalt ein wenig.

Komme immer wieder gerne hier hin um zu Speisen. Der Chef und der Angestellte sind super nett. Das Essen war wie immer lecker 😋. Dieses Mal war ich zur Mittagszeit dort essen und es gab eine Speisekarte die von 13-16 Uhr seine Gültigkeit hatte. Die Speisen sind genauso lecker, nur man zahlt ein bißchen weniger. Dankeschön

We ordered food to go, the guy we ordered with was very friendly. The food was ready in 20 minutes and packed carefully. All was still warm when we got home. The portions are very big, we can eat from it again tomorrow. The taste is great, lovely use of spices! We even got soup and salad separately. Very good prices as well. The restaurant looked very nice and cozy. Would definately recommend!

Essen war lecker und freundliches Personal

Gute indische Küche, aber etwas an den deutschen Gaumen angepasst. Freundlicher Service der such Mühe gibt Deutsch zu verstehen und zu sprechen. Man kommt in den Gastbereich auch mit dem Rollstuhl, jedoch sind zu den Toilettenräumen hin Stufen.

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt von dem Service und der Qualität der Speisen im Aastha Restaurant. Ich war überrascht, dass sie so viele vegane Gerichte und auch glutenfreie Optionen anbieten. Es ist ein wirklich gemütlicher Ort zum Essen und Entspannen, besonders abends, wenn es nicht zu laut ist.
