Aastha Restaurant in Berlin

Ordered Paneer Pudina Tikka, Vegetable Dum Biryani, dal, butter naan and jeera rice. Paneer was soft, minty and lightly charred; biryani aromatic with saffron basmati and tender veg; dal creamy and naan warm. Everything was served hot, flavors were clean and balanced, service friendly, prices fair. Would happily return.

The chicken tikka was tender and the mango lassi hit the spot. Only nit: mains took a bit longer than expected. Still a great place for a relaxed Indian meal with friends.

My partner and I regularly eat at Aashta and can highly recommend it. It's delicious, always clean, and the service is fast and courteous. The price-performance ratio is fair, and you get a really good and tasty portion for your money.

This restaurant is very underrated. They serve very solid, authentic Indian cuisine. Everything is rather unspectacular, but very tasty and delicious. The value for money is reasonable. We'll be back.

The meat of the lamb was tasty but the vindaloo "curry" was much closer to a normal tomato sauce than a decent Indian curry. Music was way too loud for a meal. The red wine was horrible! I even asked to change it and the second wine they brought me was slightly better but still unbelievable horrible. It was the first time in my life I did not finish a glass of wine I paid for. This is a pity. We wanted to try this restaurant after we ordered online. But there is really lot to improve if they want to provide a decent service. Potentially a good restaurant but the management should really rethink a couple of things.

Outside, the seating is slightly sloping, while inside, the interior is superb. The server is friendly, and the duck menu (sherry, soup, main course, vanilla ice cream with mango sauce) is very good value at €21.50. The pureed lentil soup was the best lentil soup I've ever eaten. Unfortunately, the grilled duck was disappointing: it wasn't grilled, but braised, and the meat quality was poor. Hence, one star deducted. Conclusion: Still recommended (just for the three sauces, one of which was ultra-spicy).

We ordered by phone and picked up the food. Unfortunately, when we placed our order, we weren't informed that the dishes were available at a significantly lower price for lunch, even though we ordered at lunchtime. What a shame! The flavor was unfortunately a bit bland, and we're used to much better food.

Worst experience ever, first of all they have wrong menu, or they don't know the actual about the dish, I order something grilled and they brought me tomato sauce and rice, I was shocked. The food was many days old, tasteless, I left the food at their reception. NOT RECOMMENDED, please avoid if you want to save the money.

Everything was fine until my girlfriend and I wanted to order a coffee over an hour before closing time. The waiter said that wasn't possible and we should have tea. And at that point, the shop received a major minus point!

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Toller Service. Tolle Atmosphäre und vor allem ist es dort vergleichsweise ruhig. Die Preise sind wirklich toll. Der Geschmack des Essens ist der Hauptgedanke bei der Erwähnung von Chicken Tikka, nach dem ich mich immer sehne, und Chicken Madras mit Naan ist mein Favorit.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen. Portion war auch genau richtig so. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in Allem wars echt super!

Ich hatte ein tolles Erlebnis in diesem indischen Restaurant! Das Chicken Korma war reichhaltig, cremig und vollgepackt mit Geschmack - absolut köstlich. Zusammen mit dem Knoblauch-Naan, das perfekt weich und aromatisch war, und dem Basmati-Reis, der leicht und duftend war, war es eine perfekte Mahlzeit. Ich habe auch das Punjabi Thali probiert, und es war eine köstliche Kombination von Aromen; die Portionen waren großzügig, und der Service war herzlich und einladend. Sehr zu empfehlen für jeden, der sich nach echten indischen Aromen sehnt!

You refused to serve me, so I walked to the station and found a restaurant: Indisches Restaurant - Yogi Haus - Indische Spezialitäten. Sorry but completly true! I went there around 9 PM on January 1st, and the restaurant was empty. When I asked if I could sit down, the man at the counter told me that if I was alone, I couldn’t sit and basically threw me out of his restaurant. What a shame! I found a place on Frankfurter Allee, an Indian restaurant, where they treated me wonderfully. When I passed by the original place around 11 PM, it was still open and empty. It's clear to me that I will never set foot in that place again. Such terrible customer service!

I've been here several times. We always eat here on Christmas Day. Makes it less stressful at home. Really very good food, great price-performance ratio, nice service. I can recommend it without reservation.

I recently visited this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was utterly unacceptable. First, the service was atrocious. The waiters were rude and unprofessional, especially the older one, who blatantly ignored us as if we were invisible. Not once did anyone check on us, offer any help, or show even a hint of politeness. The atmosphere was equally dismal. The table had no lamp or any form of decor, leaving the space feeling cold and uninviting, which perfectly matched the freezing temperature of the restaurant itself. And then came the food. Absolutely horrible. It was served cold, tasteless, and unappetizing as though it had been sitting out for hours before reaching our table. When we tried to bring this up, the staff couldn’t have cared less. Overall, this was a truly disgusting and disappointing experience. The service was terrible, the atmosphere miserable, and the food inedible. I will never return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that respects its customers.

Today I visited this restaurant with my sister . It was my worst experience. No welcoming staff, no lights on tables, rude and inattentive staff. I ordered bhatura, chana masala and paneer jalfrezi whole food was not hot and paneer jalfrezi was sweet like sugar, when I called to waiters to change paneer jalfrezi , he did not listen and ignore us then another staff member came and take it back but again it was same like sugar. Moreover , my sister ordered Mango colada, which was tastless. Last but not the least, when I was paying my bill then waiter gave the bill and left the card machine on my table and I paid my bill myself from machine and keep my receipt with me and his receipt on the table. He even didn't care about the bill and the card machine. Extremely bad treatment from staff. I want to give 0 review for service but there is no option of zero. I will never visit this place again and never recommend others here. Don't waste your money here.

We were visiting and stopped there for dinner. A very nice atmosphere with courteous service, fair prices and delicious food. We were pleasantly surprised and didn't regret the visit. We had a lovely evening there and can recommend the restaurant.

We were there several times and also used the take away. The food is good, but unfortunately it is noticeable that the waiters are very unfriendly. The older one always seems disinterested and another waiter complicated my order requests and was completely unwilling to fulfill them. The impression remained that they were perhaps arrogant when dealing with women. Service: 0 stars!

I had dinner at the restaurant with my family today. We were shown to our table and the menus were immediately on the table! A lavish menu, large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as other starters and desserts. The food was prepared quickly and came to the table straight away. Hearty meal! Very tasty and super tasty. We had: cashew cream sauce with room cheese and rice with all sorts of vegetables. We were very happy with our meal. The portion size was more than enough! There was also dessert, ice cream, mango cream and tea. Everything fine ! We remained very happy with the service as they were quick, attentive and courteous. Therefore deserves all 5 stars!!!

HORIBLE SERVICE! I’ve never been in a restaurant with such an unfriendly staff!! Even though the restaurant was completely empty, they didn’t wanted to give us a table. We were able to stay after insisting. Anyway, I would never go there again and would also not recommend it to anybody! There are so many good and friendly Indian restaurants in Berlin, don’t waste your time and money here!

One of the worst services I have experienced in Berlin. Since we arrived the server had a horrible attitude towards us. At the end of our visit, still with a full cup of coffee, the guy asked us to leave the table. There were just 3 tables taken in the whole restaurant.

My current favorite Indian! I've tried many other Indian restaurants in the area, but none of them had such a good combination of friendly service, delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. And that's still the case - I was finally here again today for years and was able to convince myself of it.
