The 50th Diner in Zwickau was a really pleasant surprise. A great selection of American-style dishes, all delicious and freshly prepared. The service was super friendly and attentive – all in all, a visit we truly enjoyed. 🍔🍟🥤 If you're looking for a classic diner experience, this is the place to be!

Really delicious burgers and an extremely authentic diner! We felt completely at ease. Reservations are highly recommended, as it's very popular. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends (parking directly in front is scarce), but the parking garage is just around the corner.

Our local spot for years, we highly recommend the ribs and buttermilk pancakes! Definitely try the cucumber lemonade too! You feel right at home, the service is fantastic, everyone is always friendly and helpful. Dogs are also very welcome.

The food is absolutely delicious. You'll definitely leave satisfied, and there's something for everyone. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size and quality. I remember the old location, and I have to say the atmosphere has definitely carried over to the new one. It's still just as cozy as it used to be. The staff is friendly and not at all pushy. A must for lovers of American food. We decided on the spur of the moment to have lunch at the diner. It wasn't crowded, and a reservation wasn't necessary. The ambiance is typical of a diner. You can feel the era. The service was attentive and polite. The food was plentiful and delicious.

Very good! If you like American food, you have to come here and eat/enjoy it. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which I highly recommend.

After Chemnitz, it was Zwickau's turn. We had ordered pick-up the night before. You definitely need to make a reservation. Then we had a late lunch on Sunday. And the food here is also excellent. The burgers are absolutely amazing and filling, even without a side dish. Be sure to try the cucumber lemonade. It's amazing. The staff is very nice, friendly, and always up for a joke.

Pleasant decor with spacious seating, clean, and friendly, attentive staff! The food was average, perhaps a bit pricey, but that's up to you. A cheeseburger with fries and a peach iced tea cost €25, including a tip.

I was here before so l know the taste and its always good but yesterday i came here expecting a good meal. After eating half of it, it started to taste weird. So I got raw meat in my burger — and I mean literally raw. I could see it, I could taste it. It was cold and pink inside. When I told the waiter, she said “that’s just the color of the meat.”Seriously? I know the difference between a rare burger and completely raw beef. To make things worse, she didn’t even apologize. Instead, she just asked, “Do you want a drink or not? It’s on the house.” in the most dismissive way possible. The whole interaction was rude and unprofessional. I left angry and disgusted. If you care about food safety or decent service, don’t waste your time or money here.

Very similar to a diner in the USA. Service is very attentive and super friendly... The burgers are tasty, the ribs could be softer and fall-off-the-bone better, but the flavor is very good. Unfortunately, the baked shrimp seem to be from a different manufacturer these days – the batter isn't quite to my taste anymore. The dips and sauces are delicious. The pancakes are recommended if you can still fit something in your stomach. 😆 We like going here. Parking is scarce, especially on weekends. But there is a parking garage nearby. Be sure to make a reservation, especially in cooler temperatures when the beer garden is closed. 👍🏻

Very cool, first-class burgers and great interior

We would like to thank Nele sincerely for her attentive and courteous manner. She was open-minded and patient. We were at the diner with our children today around 1 p.m. and had a very good meal. We felt welcome the entire time and were able to truly enjoy our visit without having to worry about the children laughing too loudly or something going wrong. A really nice shop, centrally located. Unfortunately, the locals can't keep up. The paddy is okay, but the roll is a disaster, simply too dry. It crumbles in your hand.

Reservation was very easy to do. The staff went above and beyond. They even helped with providing a parking spot! Food was amazingly American and a fair warning. Be hungry cause it is plenty.

A super-chic diner in typical 50s style. Very cool and lovingly decorated. We had two burgers, which were beautifully presented and delicious. They were accompanied by ice-cold Heineken and mac n cheese. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

If you want a true 50s feel, this is the place to be! The menu leaves nothing to be desired, whether it's starters, main courses, or desserts. It tastes simply amazing! The waiters are incredibly friendly and helpful! The classic American pancakes brought tears of joy to my eyes... truly American!!!!!

We were at the Trabant convention in Zwickau and only ended up here by chance because the brunch place across the street was full. The place was surprisingly empty, but we still gave it a chance. Luckily! Because the breakfast was fabulous and the portions very generous. Good espresso and fair prices in a truly stylish, charming American 1950s atmosphere. The service was also excellent. Friendly and service-oriented. We were completely satisfied.

Extremely delicious. Much better than expected. The burger and the (gluten-free) bun were super tasty and soft, everything blended perfectly. The fries were fresh and hot, the mayo was top-notch, and the salad was also really good. The steak was also soft and refined (considering it was cheap and "only" a sirloin steak). Not the healthiest food, but if you're hungry for that kind of thing, this is a really good place to go.

There's really nothing to complain about with the overall package. The prices are quite high, though. The price/performance ratio is good, though. That's why I don't want to complain.

Went here again and had another delicious meal. As always, there's a monthly special and a well-stocked menu with all sorts of delicacies. The quality and taste are excellent, and the service is always prompt and super friendly... It's also a great place for children. There's a children's menu and a small pack of crayons for coloring in.

We went for lunch with the kids (2 and 5), and I'm thrilled. The service was great, the food was very good, and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a diner of this style. It's not cheap, but I think the days of cheap food are over. The prices are reasonable and typical for the amount offered. Nothing to complain about in terms of taste, other than it tastes great! The portions are more than generous, and you'll definitely fill yourself up. I definitely recommend it.

I have to say, not entirely without bias - the best burgers you can buy. We've probably gone through half the menu by now, and EVERYTHING was delicious. The service is very friendly and relaxed, the ambiance is authentic with loving details that give the diner personality. You're open to criticism - even though it's American style, I would prefer the ribs with less sauce. They taste great, but the flavor is a bit lost in all the sauces. And they really don't need to hide! 😉 Please keep it up, because we want to try the other half of the menu too <3

Best diner in the city of Zwickau. The atmosphere is typically retro, reminiscent of a 1960s diner. The burgers are great! My recommendation: John Marstens or the Blue Cheeseburger with an apple cider from Bulmers ;)

"Just another Hamburger" Personally, mine, Spice Hot burguer was so soaked that is was impossible to keep it between my fingers from the very beginning. However the taste was really good. I think that the so softer bread might be the problem. The waiter was not the kindest however the waitress was very friendly and polite. The environment was ok with a nice option outside on the terrace in quite a beautiful place in the city. Probably we will come back. I think it is the best of Zwickau

Without a reservation it will be difficult here, but you can often still get a seat at the bar. No wonder, as the food and service is so good here. Mega burgers, but also fish and chips. Steak and the pancakes are a delight. I'm not further along the map yet. Even vegetarians and vegans will be happy here. Only the salad falls off a bit, not in terms of taste, but the bowl is simply too full to be able to eat properly. But that is also complaining at a very high level (tongue in cheek). Kudos also to the boss, who always has time for a kind word.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right.
