Two years ago, I left a 5-star review here, which would now be completely inappropriate. After the previous owner handed over the business, things steadily went downhill. This isn't just about the taste (although there are downsides compared to before, I don't think it's as bad as it's made out to be). What's completely unacceptable is the service and customer focus. Sometimes the person preparing your food sits bored outside the shop until customers arrive and then acts completely unmotivated. Often, they get calls from "colleagues" while they're preparing your food. From that point on, they stop focusing on the food and prioritize chatting with their "friends." Seriously?! At the very least, when customers are there waiting for their food, they should stop talking on the phone. It's incredibly disrespectful to the customer, and I've never experienced anything like it.

I recently visited Louis & Uwe's restaurant and I'm absolutely thrilled! The moment you walk in, you can tell they work with passion. Louis himself takes the time to speak with his guests and explains why his meat is so special – and you can taste it! The steaks are perfectly aged, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. You can immediately tell that top-quality food is being served here. The preparation was also superb – cooked to perfection, with a perfect crust on the outside and juicy on the inside. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is attentive and friendly. If you love good meat, Louis & Uwe is the place to be. For me, it's definitely one of the best steakhouses in the area. I'll definitely be back!
