We have been to the 35mm many times and have always been satisfied. A place for everyone, where you can eat properly. Reserved today, Saturday evening at 7 p.m., it was a disaster! When I made my reservation online a few days ago, I said that I would like to have a bottle of champagne on the table as a welcome gift for my girls. Of course there was no bottle in sight, but the lady who looks after the tables quickly got one. The waitress brought these, but it was a total loss! Unmotivated, unfriendly and absolutely uninterested charisma blew up in our faces. We sat there for a really long time without anything to drink, our plates were on our table for what felt like years after we had eaten (the lady at the information desk also noticed and then cleared them away), guests next door simply left at some point (put money on the table) because we simply received no service. We would have loved to have had one or two more drinks, but unfortunately we were denied it...The atmosphere was so contagious that our evening was unfortunately over quicker than expected. This waitress just managed to get the mood of 3 people in one So much so that I HAVE to write this review! The lady might have to sort letters, assemble ballpoint pens, or work on cars. She's not that good with people - definitely not! And that doesn't mean anything bad, just honest! I really hope that this was just “a bad day” and that next time we can leave the restaurant feeling as satisfied as usual…Today thanks for nothing…..

We all ordered the Smashburger and were very impressed. The. Burger is really extremely tasty and big. You get two patties and, according to my colleagues, a very good sauce. There are also fries or wedges. We had the fries which were really crispy and perfectly salted. Service was also OK. Our burger was forgotten but we were given water as an apology. It's worth a visit despite the slightly higher prices.

2019. Excellent coffee, nice atmosphere, good location, hospitable staff... I waited a little unexpectedly long for my order (about 10-15 minutes) for coffee, although it didn't seem very crowded. I will definitely come back a few more times, so I hope to change the rating to 5 stars :-) ... and here I am again in 2025. after 5 years and I am redoing it to 5 stars. This time I ordered coffee and got it very quickly, even though it was quite crowded 😎 Bravo!! 🤟

Service was very fast with kind waitress. I ordered Smash burger(15e), it was big enough, with fresh salads and sos inside, also soft, nice bun, but meat was rare baked, like I ordered steak. Someone probably likes that, but it was my remark about their kitchen. Also, thay should pay more attention on freshness of desserts (muffin in my case).

Terrible! Super loud football, bad service, overprice cocktails and at the end demanding tips…

We regularly come to the 35mm in front of the cinema and have always been happy with our decision. I would particularly like to highlight the smash burger with super tasty fries as well as the cocktails - you know your stuff!

Always thrilled when I'm in mm. The food is delicious, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I rarely give 5 stars, but everything is always just right here. The boss personally came to our table and invited us for a shot. What more do I expect?

Unfortunately, things are getting worse with the 35mm. I've actually always enjoyed going to the pub after the cinema or in the evening for years. The food was and still is very tasty, the staff is friendly, but rarely asks if you want to order again. However, the menu has been significantly slimmed down and the exorbitant prices are unfortunately not suitable for the service offered. Charging a mere 21 euros for a Germanized curry with a cup-sized basmati rice is simply grossly overpriced. All dishes are now at the same price level. Unfortunately, the shop is only becoming more and more rancid, the tables look stained and that's just not appetizing. Especially the glass tables outside look terrible. Charging such prices in such an atmosphere is not appropriate. And yes, I'm already aware that everything is getting more expensive, but as a long-time guest I know the price development. In addition, there were no more hot drinks from 10 a.m. Not even tea (I understand that if the machine has already been cleaned), but I find it ridiculous that you can no longer get warm drinks. Please do better so that the restaurant stays with us and people enjoy going there again.

Food choice is quite broad, with meat/ steak and burger but also pasta options. Vegetarian, vegan options are spread over the menu. However, this place is pricey and apparently usually packed, and that not only on Tuesdays when they have their special ribs offer. I found it really cold sitting close to the mall entrance, while the street exit/entrance is frequented by mall viditors, walking across the restaurant. It is mediocre at best in terms of food quality in my eyes but the drinks menu offered a nice assortment of cocktails and Longdrinks.

Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed with the service. After the cinema, my daughter and I wanted to have a cocktail. We were told relatively quickly that we could choose a free table. This will be done immediately. Unfortunately, from that point on we were completely ignored. Not even a waiter or waitress was seen nearby. At some point a waitress ran out of the restaurant and disappeared around the corner. After a while we got up and left without ever having had any contact with a waitress. Very unfortunate.

We came to order coffee and sweets and got a double espresso and a delicious chocolate cake. The service is excellent and the complex is quiet and not crowded.

I would describe it as a mix between US and German cuisine. It's average... not good, not bad, average

It's been a long time since I had a cup of coffee in a place with such a good atmosphere, the background music here is very good. I recommend stopping by if you want to stop for a quiet drink for a while to rest and talk to someone.

Price performance is no longer quite as good as it used to be

They were closed at 10:30pm and a star for a bar closing at this time, I'd suggest they put it up as a restaurant and not a bar

Quite well-known location in the building of the Mathäser cinema. There is a little bit of everything, a restaurant, bar, bistro and cafe and also a DJ on weekends. The selection on the extensive food and drink menu is correspondingly large. Inside there is a bit of a train station atmosphere. There are also terrace seats in front of the restaurant, which are heated in cold weather.

FC Bayern's Bundesliga games are shown, ideal if you can skip the conference and are looking for a place to go for public viewing. The dishes are also large and taste quite good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Good location. You can do it!

It's a great place to watch soccer inside, and there's an outdoor table and fireplace, so it's nice to have a warm conversation. And since it is self-service, you have to order, pay, and receive your food inside. On the contrary, I am comfortable with this, so I ate it and left very comfortably. The chicken nuggets aren't bad and the beer is good too.

Unfortunately we waited a whole 20 minutes for the bill! This is truly unacceptable and extremely annoying. Not friendly either.

I can't say anything about the food because we just wanted to have a drink as a stopover before the movie. We got a seat at the bar and the gin sour and espresso martini were delicious. What was worth emphasizing was that with these drinks you finally tasted a bit of alcohol, which is unfortunately no longer the case in many Munich bars. The service was also pleasant and courteous. The price-performance ratio is very good. I/we would love to come back.

Great salads and ex excellent quick service

Unfortunately the 35 millimeter disappointed me again... Last time cold fries and dry burger, this time instead of latte macchiato and hot chocolate "dark" only milk instead of coffee or chocolate. We specifically asked for an extra espresso shot because the latte macchiato only tasted like milk, but unfortunately it still only tasted like milk. The waitress was attentive and friendly but her colleague was very listless and in a bad mood. Unfortunately that was the last visit here.

Very coolly staged, film theme. You feel comfortable just because the service is professional and friendly. We only waited about 10 minutes for the food, pasta dishes and a salad. The cocktails were pretty to look at and deliciously dosed. The atmosphere invites you to linger. Fairly priced and close to the city center. If Munich wasn't rather disappointing, we would definitely come back.

I've been there before and actually thought it was super modern, but in the last 7 years either my opinion has changed or the place has become a bit run down. We looked inside and everything seemed a bit run down to me Drinks were ok. We didn't have any food. But I guess it's nice to be outside. I've now increased it to three stars because there are also much worse places. On the whole you can stay there, I think.

I saw Ripp dich Fed up on Instagram for €18.90 per person on Mondays and booked it on OpenTable for myself and myself. We were very positively surprised by the quality and taste. The ribs were extremely tender so the bones could be removed with ease. The potato wedges were also nice and crispy and the sour cream sauce was good. Value for money was very top and would go again if given the opportunity.

The restaurant was a small, very positive surprise for me. It is located in the middle of the Matthäser cinema. It's a huge building and I wouldn't have thought that you could sit outside (you can't see it from the outside either). But they have a small area in a kind of inner courtyard, which is beautifully shady and green and quiet and still outside. An enchanting atmosphere, a small green island in the middle of the city center. The food was also a pleasant surprise. At first I was skeptical about the lentil noodles. I once bought and cooked lentil pasta myself and it was terrible, so I was very unsure whether I should order it. I then got over myself and have to say, they were absolutely fantastic. A very tasty, super seasoned sauce, the vegetables were cooked just right, and there were nuts on top. Very lovingly decorated with basil. Simply perfect all around. The service was friendly and quick in bringing the food and drinks. Unfortunately we had to wait a while to pay, but we were able to get over that. I will definitely go there again.

There are many places outside and inside, simply furnished. The service is friendly and attentive, but there wasn't much going on for us. The turkey schnitzel is clearly a frozen product, and charging 20 euros for it is a bit extortionate when you know how much a frozen package like this costs in wholesale. Smash burger was okay, also quite expensive (just under 15 euros) without a side dish. Cocktails are good, happy hour has been abolished.

We wanted to eat in peace. A disaster. Completely overwhelmed waiter who forgot everything. Dirty table, with old leftover food on the table. In addition, they now charge very high prices! Not good 👎🏼

We had a reservation for 20:30. We arrived exactly on time and we were told we had to wait because the table was still occupied by the previous customers. This was because of some European Championship game which took longer than expected, which is something I couldn't care less about! Basically we waited 30 mins standing at the entrance waiting for some people to free our table!

Top food and great service from dear Ilke!

I recently had dinner at 35mm with a friend and we had a very pleasant evening. This was not only due to the good food but also to the attentive and courteous waiter Ilke. We'll definitely be back soon.

We were there for the public viewing of the European Championship game between Germany and Spain. We had great, quiet seats in the back in a niche with the best view of the screen (by reservation). Service was very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food came quickly and we really enjoyed the burgers (including the veggie burger). It was a lovely evening, thank you very much.

A few days ago I had something to eat with my friends and it was delicious too. We were served by the waiter Ilke. He was friendly, personable and did a great job!

Went to the 35mm for a company party a few weeks ago. Food was super tasty and warm. Drinks nice and cold, not overfilled with ice (like in other bars) and very, very good. Although there were a few more people there, the waitress Ilke served us exceptionally well and rounded off the look of the restaurant perfectly. I would even give it 6 stars for the service. You don't see something like that every day :-). We will be back !
