Great hotel with friendly staff, wonderful roof terrace with good breakfast

A very nice hotel with an interesting style. Friendly staff, nice, clean rooms, and a hearty breakfast with a view of the cathedral round out the overall experience. We'll be back next time we're in Cologne.

This is a nice hotel, and the staff are lovely. What I didn’t like was discovering that you can’t get ketchup with your breakfast. This is clearly a management decision — pretentious, pompous, classist, and idiotic. I dread to imagine the ridiculous conversations that must have surrounded it. I hope the people behind the concept of this hotel read this and reflect on their values, and on what such a decision says about their perception of other human beings. It can only have come from someone bereft of empathy and reason. The staff, however, were truly wonderful.

A modern hotel with a striking design and friendly service. The written communication beforehand was extremely helpful and professional. Our room was exactly as requested: comfortable and clean. The included minibar was a nice touch, but unfortunately, it wasn't stocked for two people. Nice touches are scattered throughout the ground floor and, combined with the Nomad Day Bar, create a welcoming atmosphere. We found the Monkey Bar dark, noisy, and rather uncomfortable. The cocktail selection didn't suit our preferences. I would happily stay at The Circle again.

"Tropical nights are nights when the thermometer doesn't drop below 20 degrees." The room was 27 degrees Celsius when we checked in around 6 p.m. Both windows were open, and the temperature was fine around 10 p.m. Due to the obscene noise from outside, the windows unfortunately had to be closed to sleep. The "air conditioning" was set to -3, and the result was that it got warmer and warmer (in the picture below right: 23 degrees Celsius at 5 a.m.)... As a result, we slept somewhere between extremely poorly and not at all. The entire hotel is far too warm; you could easily walk around everywhere in shorts and flip-flops. It's September, so adjust the temperature a bit.

This was my second time there this year. The breakfast is great, and the rooms are okay. However, I found it quite small this time, despite the paid upgrade. What bothers me is that when booking through the ALL Accor app, city tax is added, even though the price was quoted including tax. I wish there was more transparency in the booking process!

We had a fantastic stay at the 25hours Hotel in Cologne. The reception was extremely friendly and warm, making us feel immediately welcome. The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, and furnished with great attention to detail. In the evening, we enjoyed delicious cocktails at the bar – a real highlight. An all-around fantastic hotel that we highly recommend!

It was pretty disappointing. I have stayed at several 25Hours Hotels in the past. In Germany, Switzerland and Austria. So I was excited to stay at this one. The building itself is very impressive. The theme of the hotel is cool, somewhat like space and time capsule. The bed and bathroom were clean. The staff arent the friendliest nor the most welcoming. The hotel is a bit rundown, which is a pity. The carpets have massive stains, and seem not to have been cleaned in a while. The couches/chairs in the lobby and room, have stains and dirty and holes in the them. The "free" mini bar had some cool stuff however, had one cola bottle for two people, and the chocolate bar was already open and had a bite eaten from it (probably from the previous guest) The coffee mug and the spoon were not cleaned and still had coffee in them. The bar on the last floor is open till 2 am, however, if you happen to be staying on a Saturday, there is a massive queue to get in. So if you want to have a drink at the hotel, that wont be possible. In addition, the hotel keys stopped working 2 times, during a one night stay....

We booked a "Large" room online for two nights. At the hotel, we were able to store our backpack at the friendly reception desk without any problems until our room was released. The hotel has its own charm, which is truly an experience. The room is clean, very large, and beautifully decorated with lots of little gimmicks. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the coffee, despite the instructions, because the filter simply broke. Too bad. Instead, we used the tea instead. ;) We also gratefully accepted the small cupboard with snacks, water, beer, and cola in the evening after our city tour. The rain shower was great, and being able to see the spires of the cathedral upon waking up was also great. The beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was unexpectedly varied. There was such an incredible variety, so we could enjoy the rising sun and the lovingly prepared buffet. The service staff always had a smile for us, despite the early hour. As often mentioned in the reviews, the hotel is struggling with wear and tear (stains on seats and carpets in the lobby/hallways/dusty smell in the hallway). However, we don't consider this a negative point, as it didn't detract from our overall experience at all. And that elevator. Wow. What a thing.☺️ With that in mind, we'd be happy to go again.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding weekend. The ambiance was nice, and the reception, especially Aline, was a disaster! Every room had massive problems with check-in and check-out. They definitely needed some improvement in their friendliness. Especially the rolling of their eyes, no eye contact during conversations, etc. Absolutely poor hosting skills. Sorry for the feedback.

Simply fantastic. Perfect location near the Old Town and the Belgian Quarter. Everything within a 20-minute walk. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Parking in the garage underneath the hotel. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, modern hotel in a fairly central location in Cologne. Perfect for a business trip or city break. As is almost always the case with 25hours hotels, it features the Neni restaurant and Monkey Bar. A fantastic rooftop terrace with a superb view of the city. A great breakfast. The bottleneck is the reception. There's usually a line, waiting times, unnecessary bureaucracy, and not enough digital support. Currently (June 2025), there's a lot of construction work and construction noise.

This was our first time staying at the 25hours! The concept is truly impressive. We had an "extra large" room! Overall, we were very satisfied with the room. Unfortunately, there were a few things that bothered us. First, there was a very unpleasant odor in the room when we moved in. So we had to air it out first. Our room was on the first floor in the Inner Circle. Not a problem in itself! However, I couldn't sleep a wink at night. The street noise, including drunken groups shouting loudly, was truly unbearable. Even with the window closed, you could still hear everything. The noise pollution continued early in the morning. Groups of people were sitting directly below the window, and they were so loud that I felt like they were sitting in my room. In general, the soundproofing is poor. We could hear our neighbor taking a shower, blowing their nose a little more loudly, or simply someone walking down the hall. Perhaps they should consider putting the few guests on the upper floors of a hotel that's not fully booked! The room in our category wasn't exactly cheap, and we're very annoyed. The hotel can't do anything about the noise from the street, but perhaps rooms on the upper floors could provide some relief.

We really liked the rooms: modern, with a different feel. The lobby itself is a real eye-catcher. The restaurant, with a view of the cathedral, is simply fantastic. The location is a 3-minute walk to Friesenplatz, and 20 minutes to the cathedral on foot. The location is wonderful. Plenty of nightlife nearby. The rooms on the 7th floor are quite noisy when chairs are moved in the bar above. The minibar is included in the price, which I think is cool. Unfortunately, the hotel's language is very English, which is rather counterproductive in a German city. The entrance to the hotel's own parking garage is very difficult to find. We would be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the stay was only moderately bearable. The room was in terrible condition. Dirt, stains, and dust were everywhere. The seating was stained and no longer looked nice. Even the seating in the lobby, directly across from the reception, looked disgusting.

The co-working space has good Wi-Fi and enough space for you and your laptop. You have to arrive relatively early to get a spot. The space is decorated a bit funky and space-themed. The coffee is delicious, and prices are normal for a city center. You don't have to pay for the co-working space or internet, which is super convenient!

We stayed at the circle for 3 nights and we had such a great experience! The attention to detail is immaculate, the bedroom was perfect and we had the loveliest view on the 6th floor. Our large room was spacious, bright and the rain shower was 👌. The neighbourhood is very quiet despite being stones away from lively streets full of restaurants, bars and cafes. Shout out to Alena or Alina from the reception for the very warm welcome! Having a cocktail at the Monkey bar is a must!! We had the best waiter named Maxim who made the experience even more memorable!

We stayed at the 25hours Hotel Cologne for the first time – and were immediately impressed! The first impression was simply amazing: super creative design, cool atmosphere, really stylish. The rooms had the same vibe – everything was clean and top quality. The night was quiet and relaxing. After checking out, we were even allowed to use the sauna area – totally cool, a little wellness oasis in the middle of the city! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Another fantastic stay at the 25hours Hotel the Circle. We were there for the second time in July 2024 and had a fantastic time. Rooms: - Clean - With minibar included (water, Kölsch, Fritz Cola, chocolate, and nuts) - Nice, large hairdryer in the bathroom - Outside view -> Unfortunately, you can see construction work, but you can't hear any noise :) - High-quality cleaning products from Soeder - Extra beds for the kids were also good and comfortable Breakfast: - Very diverse selection of cereal, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, pastries, and spreads - Great view of the city and the cathedral, all in urban jungle style and very bright, spacious, and inviting - When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside Rest of the hotel: - Sauna offers great views of the city - Helpful, friendly, and child-friendly staff - Interesting theme with astronauts and space - Mini kiosk - The Monkey Rooftop Bar at sunset was the icing on the cake of our trip, including delicious cocktails with a beautiful view over Cologne -> The bar seems to be very popular, especially on weekends, so you should arrive early. be - Parking garage with direct access to the hotel is also well thought out Location: Directly at Klapperhof and about a 15-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral, good central location

Grossartig! Die schlechte Bewertung hier meint sicher ein anderes Cafe, ganz in der Nähe, welches auf Französisch macht. Das hier ist eine kleine, feine italienische Cafe bar und die Kuchen sind selbstgebacken. Wer einen richtig guten Cafe / Espresso zu schätzen weiss, hat hier Freude. Auch die Kuchen sind super. Definitiv keine TK-Ware. EMPFEHLUNG!

Wow, what a beautiful and modern hotel! The architecture and atmosphere are stunning. Magnificent views from the Neni and the Monkey Bar. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are extremely stylish. You feel very comfortable there. Unfortunately, I find the mattresses too hard and uncomfortable. That's the only thing I think could be improved.

Fantastic stay! I had a wonderful stay. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the rooms were not only tastefully decorated but also extremely comfortable. A very nice hotel with modern furnishings. The lobby also offers a variety of entertainment options (bar, foosball table, arcade machine, etc.). The breakfast buffet was very well-stocked and had everything you could wish for.

Impressive architecture, very cool furnishings, breakfast with a great view over the city...the price for breakfast is quite high at €29...(as of May 2025).

After my initial enthusiasm, I unfortunately only had a mediocre experience at the 25h. There's no room service; instead, you're supposed to order food from the NENI restaurant by phone and then pick it up yourself. I would have liked to do that, but nobody answered the phone, and the reception couldn't help either. So I went upstairs myself, ordered food there, and balanced it on a tray in my room. (The food was delicious, typical NENI quality). The carpets in the hallways look really dirty and worn. The rain shower in a glass cubicle in the room is fun, but it hadn't been descaled in a long time and sprayed in all directions. There was loud construction work right outside the room starting at 7:30 a.m. (May 2025), which will probably continue for quite some time. Otherwise, it was once again very nice there! Comfortable beds, wonderfully scented soaps and lotions, cool room furnishings and lobby, and, of course, a great location. Conclusion: The hotel is simply resting on its laurels and its cool image, but of course it is still great.

The 25hours Hotel Cologne is simply fantastic! A superbly thought-out concept with original decor – creativity is evident in every detail. Perfect for taking cool photos for Instagram and other social media platforms. The rooftop bar is a real highlight – great views and a fantastic atmosphere. The in-house restaurant is also highly recommended; it's best to reserve a table in advance. We'd love to come back!

I really liked the hotel! Spacious room (better than in Düsseldorf), great sauna. The lounge is large and comfortable. And I really enjoyed the breakfast on the beautiful terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the Cologne House.

Wonderful stay with a very special highlight! My stay at this hotel was pleasant throughout, but what really made it stand out was the exceptional friendliness of a member of staff named Tom. From the moment I arrived until I left, Tom was incredibly helpful, accommodating and always with a smile. It's really refreshing to meet people like Tom who not only do their job, but do it with passion and genuinely care about the well-being of their guests. I was in Cologne for 3 days on business, when I checked in I was told that there was no hot water for showering for 2 days, due to an audit by the energy supplier, we couldn't shower, we were offered to go to the old city baths to shower, I think it was an absolute no go, a price reduction was refused, that's how customer service works,🙄🤑

Yes, centrally located, everything in the city is within walking distance. Exceptional ambience in the lobby and in the rooms.

Actually something for young people. High noise levels even with a weak crew. No free choice of seats. A strict gentleman is responsible for this, who will be happy to discuss with you the meaning of your wish and teach you. After all, the two of us were allowed to sit at a table of four, with the facility being very poorly occupied. The view is great, but these places cannot be occupied in medium winds. We found out about the cheap lunch menu more or less by chance from the waitress. The food was ok. The service was nice except for the usher. This was a test meal for a wedding dinner. We'll find something else.

Overall, great hotel. Excellent restaurant on the rooftop. The air conditioning didn’t work, so it was too hot in our room. We asked for a fan at the least, but they said that they had given all of them out already. First hotel I have ever been in my life that doesn’t have hair conditioner. I had asked the reception if they had any conditioner for us, and we were told to go to the convenience store to buy some ourselves.

The hotel in Cologne is getting a little old! In other cities it seems more modern, cleaner, better preserved! It's a shame - I was actually disappointed!

The hotel is great. Very modern furnishings, staff super friendly. There is only one huge disadvantage, the bar on the 8th floor is a public bar. There is no way to book a table. That means if you're not standing there, when it opens you have no chance of getting in there, especially on the weekend. We had a wait of 2 hours, which was a shame. As hotel guests we wanted to end the evening with a nice drink and a beautiful view.

Central location, easy to reach by public transport, good location for partygoers, exclusive space design, delicious breakfast, co-working.

The hotel and the rooms are very funny and lavishly furnished in a retro space travel style. But you have to like dark rooms and exposed concrete. And as is often the case when you place a lot of emphasis on design, functionality sometimes suffers. The smaller rooms do not have a proper desk, the larger ones lack good seating and sometimes sufficient lighting to be able to work properly. If you are using the room as a couple, you should know your fellow travelers well, as the bathroom and shower are not completely separated from the room (the toilet is). The breakfast is great, with a great view of Cologne Cathedral.

Really a great hotel for people who like things uncomplicated and modern. It is centrally located and with the bike rental on the doorstep you can reach many places in Cologne very quickly. If you're thirsty, you can use the minibar in the room for free. The breakfast leaves no need unfulfilled. From vegan to vegetarian or traditional, it leaves nothing to be desired with a great view and very friendly staff. If you would like to use the hotel's sauna or fitness room, you are welcome to do so at no extra charge. Parking is available in the hotel itself or directly across the street in the parking garage for 25 euros per day. Unfortunately, despite the report, the minibar remained uncooled for the whole two days. And the food that guests order to their rooms in the evening and then put the leftovers back in the hallway remains in the hallway until the rooms are cleaned the next day. It would certainly be worth doing a cleaning tour in the evening or early in the morning. The rooms themselves have high-quality toiletries that can be used free of charge, as well as a hairdryer and much more. If you want to have dinner upstairs in Neni on the 8th floor, you definitely have to reserve a table in good time. There is also a small menu next door on the 8th floor in the monkey bar with, among other things, an excellent Caesar salad. we'd love to come back!

Interesting Hotel with an alternative concept. The rooms are too dark for me. The Location is Central but parking is expensive. Also offloading baggage from the car is difficult due to missing short duration parking bays.

We had an amazing stay at 25hours Hotel Köln The Circle! This hotel is not only beautiful but also incredibly unique, with cool and creative themes that are thoughtfully integrated into both the rooms and the lobby. The attention to detail in the design makes for a truly memorable experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. A fantastic perk is the complimentary items in the mini-fridge, such a nice touch! The hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance of the city center, making it perfect for exploring Cologne. Although I didn’t have time to try it, the retro arcade machine in the hotel is such a fun addition. There’s also a sauna, a restaurant, and a cocktail bar, making it a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Cologne.

Very beautiful and unusual hotel in “space style”. Always full and loud hipster bar on the 8th floor with a fantastic view. Also on the 8th floor is the NENI restaurant with Israeli dishes.

A very cool, modern and beautiful hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is central but quiet. We'd love to come back.

It is a hotel that was built in a semicircle. It has 8 floors and is a 25 hour hotel. The reception is on the ground floor. There is also an internet coffee shop on the ground floor, which has many nice corners for surfing and checking. There is also a corner that offers gift items. There are 3 elevators to reach individual floors. The numbers of the individual rooms are written in large letters on the walls. The rooms are very nice and modernly furnished. Meals are taken on the 8th floor. There is also a bar there.

Fancy theme well executed and the included minibar is a nice gimmick. However we found mold in the drinking glasses in the fridge, which gave us some bad vibes around cleaning and would have preferred to have a coffee machine in room to get the day started. There is a coffee place in the lobby, though. Sleep comfort exceptionally great - amazing sheets, good blackout curtains (but would have preferred some privacy curtains - neighbors advertised, especially in rooms on 1st floor outside the circle.

Perfect location for exploring Cologne. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel and the rooms are clean and very modern. And the size is also very good - price-performance ratio fits! It would be nice to have a luggage rack in the room as there is little storage space for clothes. What's really cool is that the contents of the minibar are included in the price (snack, chocolate bar, 2 beers, 2 water, 1 iced tea). We traveled with our dog and paid €20 extra. (There were two bowls and a dog pillow in the room / were announced: two bowls / treats / pillows - the treats were missing, not a problem because our dog has allergies) - Surcharge of 20€ is fair and we had the feeling that the little one was welcome. The sauna area is also beautiful and modern, as is the fitness room (suitable for a maximum of 2-3 people at the same time). The view over Cologne and especially the cathedral is great. Unfortunately there were no bathrobes available all day, we had to walk around the hotel with the large towels. To be honest, you don't really feel comfortable. This would be easy to remedy. The coworking café has delicious coffee and cake at fair prices. Also in a great design. Underground car park: We were allowed into the garage, unfortunately there are currently hardly any parking spaces there due to the construction site. Some of the parking spaces are also occupied by garbage cans and other hotel utensils or construction site components. Despite prior information that parking was possible, this was not possible. We were directed to the parking garage opposite (€24 per day - €3 more expensive than the hotel). The receptionist's handling of the situation was rather indifferent. Basically, the reception staff's interaction was okay, but not as friendly and accommodating as I'm used to at other 25Hours. Questions were answered briefly and succinctly, you got the feeling that you would be happy when you left again. All in all very good value for money in a great location.

Unfortunately, the coworking space is full of students, so as a paying hotel guest you can't sit down and work. You can't really work in the room because the WiFi often doesn't reach into the room and there is no chair with a backrest.

Friendly staff, neat rooms. Good beds! Nice extensive breakfast with lots of choice. Nice extra: you can simply take the contents of the minibar without extra costs. Visited Dot Hotel twice now and both times were great. Easily accessible, well located in the city. If we ever come to Cologne again, we will definitely end up here again. We had a room on the 1st floor and what was special was that we couldn't use the stairwell?!

25hours in Berlin is better than in Cologne. Coolness factor is higher in Berlin than in Cologne, but definitely a good recommendation in Cologne too.

Very "spaced out" retro design, large rooms with Bluetooth box, TV, free minibar, trendy rooftop bar with terrace and view of Cologne Cathedral, luxurious breakfast buffet, staff hip and helpful. A special kind of hotel that makes you feel good. Less than 10 minutes walk to the cathedral. Wonderful!

Actually a top hotel, but this time you can make some compromises. First the positive: - cool design hotel with unusual accents - Extraordinarily great breakfast selection - Service super friendly - great location, many things within walking distance But now the negative points: - In the room, the fan in the bathroom ran continuously and could not be switched off. The room exchange was carried out around 11 p.m., but this meant a waiting time of around 30 minutes. - Both the first and second rooms were both very poorly cleaned. I actually haven't experienced anything like that in a long time. Both shower cubicles with individual hairs, excrement residue in one of the toilets, dust and crumbs in several places in the room, especially in the area of ​​the skirting boards, sink with strange discoloration that could be removed in just a few steps. Overall a very disappointing experience.

I accidentally booked on an Arcor on the wrong date, but I didn't realize it until the next morning when I read the confirmation email, which said that I should stay there that day?! I immediately contacted the hotel, they first promised me that I would cancel it, then I was offered a rebooking on the right day, but at 3 times the price and the end of it was that I had to pay 80% of the price because I did wasn't there, costs were incurred, ok there were still quite a few rooms available that day, so I find this statement very cheeky! Customer service is not that!!! This hotel is definitely no longer an option for us and I definitely won't recommend it!

very nice staff - we were even allowed to have breakfast earlier because our train came so early.

We wanted to love it, and booked the biggest room so expected a lot more. Housekeeping left something to be desired. The couch and chair were covered in food or bodily fluid stains that didn’t even look like they’d be attempted to be removed. The amenities were poorly stocked and we had to go ask the front desk the next day for tea. The lobby was really neat and the room was fine aside from the dirtiness but I expect more from the price I paid. Reception did not ask (possibly on purpose) how our stay was even or I would have mentioned it there. We definitely would not stay here again.

For the price I would have expected clean rooms. I've stayed in much cheaper but clean hotels and guesthouses. The furnishings may well be a matter of taste, but the walls urgently need painting! All in all, the price-performance ratio is more than miserable. Room 317 13.12.-14.12.24

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the positive reviews about this hotel so far. The entrance already made a very messy impression. Apart from the construction site, the area appears tasteless and thrown together, almost as if you were entering a Messi apartment or a student shared apartment. The figure of the seated cosmonaut in the foyer was particularly irritating - its meaning remained completely unclear to me. Instead of being original or artistic, it seemed like a scene from a horror movie about a zombie apocalypse. We booked a room on the 7th floor from December 13th, 2024 to December 14th, 2024. The price of almost 500 euros for two adults and a child gave us certain expectations of comfort and quality, which were far from being met. The disappointment began when we checked in at 4 p.m. The greeting at reception was friendly, but I was addressed in an inappropriate manner, which is not to everyone's taste. The actual registration process was standard. When we finally entered the room, we discovered that the extra bed for our child was missing. After a brief inquiry, an employee who looked more like a market seller from southern Europe brought us a folding bed. This bed reminded me strongly of the beds in youth hostels in the former Soviet Union - anything but appropriate for a hotel in this price range. The quality of the mattresses in the main bed was also a disaster and made it impossible to get a restful sleep. At around 2am we were finally woken up by loud music coming from the bar on the 8th floor. After an angry call to reception, the music was turned off, but sleep was still out of the question for me. The design of the room was also disappointing. Previous reviews had spoken of ornate furnishings, but there was no sign of that. Rather, the design seemed strange and tasteless. The blue mosaic tiles from the 1960s were particularly noticeable - I wouldn't have thought that something like that still existed. The hotel's long corridors weren't a pretty sight either. The carpet was old, red and stained, and an unpleasant smell permeated the hallways. All in all, I find the hotel to be completely overpriced and in no way worthy of being considered a 4-star hotel. The only positive aspect I can mention is the central location, which offers a good base for activities. But that alone doesn't justify the price and the lack of quality. I will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel boasts a fantastic central location, though it can be noisy at night. One downside is the limited supply of pillows, with only one per person. On the plus side, the breakfast is outstanding, and the restaurant and bar offer great experiences. The interior design is well thought-out. It’s an excellent value for money and a solid choice for a beautifully designed, centrally located hotel.

Five stars are simply not enough to rate the excellent service at this hotel. The service during our stay was exceptional. I would especially like to thank Corinna, who made our stay unforgettable. Both the communication in advance and the on-site support were first-class - you rarely experience something like that. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. We will definitely book the 25hours Cologne again.

Nice hotel-located in the middle of the city

We were guests at this hotel a few days ago and unfortunately our experiences were anything but positive. There appears to be a clear need for improvement in several areas. We had three rooms on three different floors, and unfortunately all three rooms were very dirty. It was difficult to find a clean surface, seat, or bedding without encountering stains, hair, or other contaminants. What was interesting was that despite the identical room category and the same price, the furnishings and cleanliness varied greatly. For example, there were differences in the number of towels, pillows and blankets in the rooms. Additionally, the minibar in one of the rooms was not functional as the drinks were warm instead of chilled. The staff we encountered during our stay were polite, but seemed to lack motivation and professionalism. Some of the staff seemed bored and didn't seem particularly committed to the service and atmosphere. We also noticed that during our late and night shift group there were a few people in the lobby who did not appear to be part of the hotel staff. This didn't seem very professional. Unfortunately, the public areas we saw were in no better condition than our rooms. The condition of the mattresses under the sheets was particularly unpleasant, as there were various stains and hairs on them. This led us to not take breakfast at the hotel for hygiene reasons and to plan our departure as soon as possible. We have stayed in many hotels in the past, including this chain, but we have never had an experience like this. It seems that there is a fundamental problem in management here, which is evident in various areas - from cleanliness to service. We only heard that the bar left a positive impression, but we weren't able to visit it ourselves due to our short stay. Finally we would like to say that unfortunately this hotel is not worth the price for us. We hope that management will consider the necessary steps to improve quality.

If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars. Unfortunately the room wasn't as expected, so we contacted reception. After a short explanation from me, we were immediately offered a better room and were completely accommodating. I can only praise the service again, it was really a great gesture from the staff. The breakfast was really great, a great selection and great quality. The location of the hotel is super central and you can get everywhere. Otherwise, the new room was also great, super clean and beautiful! Gladly again, absolute recommendation!

Impressively different. Recommended. The purist “concrete style” of the rooms is a matter of taste. The countless lamps and switches take some getting used to.

Special hotel. The space theme can be seen everywhere: from outside the hotel, around the reception to the rooms! Had a very large room with an open shower to the room, but a separate toilet with a door 😉, breakfast on the 8th floor with a view of the cathedral! Rooftop bar is supposed to be great too, but I haven't tried it.

Amazing, impressive! The former Gerling building became a top hotel. The monumental architecture alone is impressive. The interior is more reminiscent of a trip on the Starship Enterprise. The highlight is the elevator. Here, a sophisticated arrangement of light strips and mirror surfaces creates an extraordinary 3D appearance. The view from the restaurant over the roofs of Cologne is particularly recommended. You can also chill out at sunset in the rooftop bar. The breakfast buffet including coffee, juice, prosecco and a wide selection of high-quality delicacies costs an impressive €29, but is also worth the money for the ambience and view. Anyone who needs to work can do so in the in-house coworking space. There is of course also an area for conferences and a spa. The 25hours is very centrally located and easy to reach by train, 2 stops from the main train station. Otherwise, mobility services such as rental cars, Uber, taxis can be used.

We had an awesome time at the Monkey Bar in Cologne! It’s on the 8th floor of the 25hours Hotel and has killer views of the city and cathedral. During the day, it’s super chill—perfect for hanging out on the rooftop terrace. But at night, it really comes alive with great cocktails and a fun vibe.

We went on a weekend trip to Cologne and made a real stroke of luck. The hotel is equipped with a lot of attention to detail and is in a great location! The rooms are great and absolutely clean. We will definitely check in again.
