Autohof - It's called Horns and Hooves!! The scam starts when you're driving down the road and see a sign that says there are 112 available parking spaces at Autohof. You arrive and there's not even room to turn around, let alone spend the night. If you've found a parking spot and decided to spend the night, you go to the gas station cashier, pay 25 euros, and they give you a receipt for 25 euros (which you put on the windshield), and then give you two receipts for 10 euros (20 euros for food at the restaurant/cafe). You order food from the cafe. You return to the cabin, take the food out of the bag, and realize that—as far as I'm concerned, they forgot to put meat in the 20-euro portion of food—the one in the picture! They forgot to put a fork and napkins. These are small things, of course, but still! In my opinion, it's better to get a pizza, because for 18 euros, what I ordered is nothing special, whether I ate it or not! Good luck to everyone! Drive past that parking lot!

The word "client" does not mean anything to these people. You order and pay to a machine like in any fast-food, then you wait until the order moves from "In preparation" to "Ready". When my order 105 appeared on the Ready monitor I asked to some staff where I get the food and was told to wait. Asked again after five minutes, again told to wait. Then after 10 minutes another staff tell me that the food is ready on the side, one meter from her, since 15 minutes... And my espresso also comes. So according to them i should content myself of cold food and cold coffee. I asked to do a new one, wich was accepted, and came so fast that it is clear that the not-any-more mangeable steack was only reheated. Incidentally, the french fries are extremely salty. All left on the table. And the cold coffe is still on the desk... Conclusion : they'll never see me again.

Well, there's potential, because everything's actually there. However, the satisfaction of the stay is dampened by some unnecessary conditions: Toilets can only be paid for in cash with coins. The receipt takes a while, so you have to stop halfway through. Then the turnstile slams into your thighs and back again, where it "trips you up" and you almost fall. Then the thing locks, and you have to force it forward. What a waste. Then the cleaning staff cleans the floor of the toilet (3 stars for that!) and then takes the squeegee off the floor, without even flushing, to wipe the walls around the sink. 🤮

The truck stop is very expensive, and the staff is unfriendly. Even though you're a guest and leave money behind, the restroom costs €1.00. When I asked if there's a discount for guests, I received a rude response.

Wow🫣 Let's start at the beginning. The showers are there, but it's questionable why the lady cleaning doesn't notice that someone has smashed the drain 💩🤮 Things are going great in the kitchen, too. Selling a roast gravy with freshly ground pepper as a pepper cream sauce is the second person who's in their rightful place 🤔 I don't really need that again.

I highly recommend this truck stop. I can't understand all the negative reports, and I certainly can't confirm them. €25 for parking is almost normal these days, but getting €20 of that for food isn't. Parking for €5 is very cheap. €1 for the restroom is also standard these days and nothing to get more upset about than at any other rest stop. I spent the whole weekend here, and anyone who doesn't like it here should go stand on the highway to Sinsheim for €40 a night! The food is also great: rump steak, schnitzel, pizza, no stomach problems or anything after three days! The only thing I noticed is that the visitors to this truck stop have no manners or decency. So anyone who has something to complain about should look within themselves! I definitely recommend this truck stop and will be spending my rest time here more often.

We just ate at the restaurant at the 24-Autohof Bad Rappenau (a total bill of almost €40). Despite eating inside, we were denied free access to the restroom – instead, we were asked to pay a €1 restroom fee per person and were treated like a complete idiot. I find this not only customer-unfriendly and absolutely rude, but also legally questionable: In a restaurant with table service, using the restroom is a basic service. Charging paying guests for this is simply not legal. By the way, they can't properly identify allergens either, so the operator apparently doesn't know what he's doing (other than ripping people off). PS: The food was solid for a rest stop, and the one server was very nice.

Overall, Autohof is a good place. Parking is large, though expensive at 25 euros, 20 of which is for the bar. (Personally, I prefer to park in the nearby industrial zone, which is more level, and what's important to me is that there won't be a noisy refrigerated truck right next to my cabin! The zone, surprisingly, charges 5 euros per night.) There are toilets for 1 euro and 5 showers for 4 euros (the showers are so-so... A big minus is that there's no sink next to the shower, so you have to shave in the open). There's also a place in the zone with Romanians... Overall, I can recommend Autohof. You can pay by Fleet card or SNAP.

I had a sirloin steak (250g) medium with western potatoes and gravy and it was super tasty, super medium, the steak was to the point, tasted absolutely great, and a huge portion of western potatoes that would have been enough for 2 people! The fries are super crispy. For €25.90 you can't say anything either, the price is really fair. I was struggling and I'm a very good eater. I will definitely come back when my tour takes me here.

The truck stop is highly recommended. They offer a breakfast buffet until 11 a.m. Here you can find everything your ❤️ desires. The price is also ok. Per person €16.90. Since we no longer have small children, I don't know what the price is. There are also sandwiches, pretzels, croissants, muffins... The seating area is also nice. There is a kind of winter garden, it's very nice to sit there. There are also nice seating options inside. If you travel in summer, the truck stop offers a beautiful outdoor area.
