Before the football game SpVgg Ottenau against SC Hofstetten we needed some refreshment. Antalya Kebap in the Ottenau district was an obvious choice. Service: The people behind the counter were somewhere between friendly and reserved. Since there was only one other person in the restaurant when I ordered, the pizza I ordered was quickly on the table. You could actually take your own drinks, as is usual in kebab shops. - 3/5 Eat: On the menu was a “minced meat pizza”. I was a bit skeptical, but curiosity prevailed. In the end I was neither disappointed nor satisfied. For the minced meat - which was very red - I was somehow hoping for a different taste. But it wasn't really bad either. There was probably a reddish paste mixed into the minced meat, which wasn't as much to my liking as I had hoped. Still, all in all, it was okay. - 3/5 Value for money: The prices for the pizzas are the same as the current prices, so that's okay. - 3/5 Conclusion: I was full afterwards. The visit to Antalya served its purpose. Unfortunately, it wasn't more than that for me. - 3/5

Went there the day after it opened. Before we were regular customers at Insel Kebap. Staff very friendly. Ambiance is still just as bad, dirty windows with cracks etc. I find the decoration on the counter very exaggerated and doesn't suit a kebab snack bar. What's better is the meat, I like this minced meat more than the layered meat like before. The kebab was very small with little meat, ok for €3.99 at the opening, but if it really costs €8 then that is definitely way too much. I could have eaten two, but I wasn't full. The bread is oval, so not your typical kebab flatbread. Yufka looked HUGE. There are different sauces to choose from, which are smeared on bread. So for me the type of kebab here is a 1:1 copy of “The House of the Döner” Despite everything, it was tasty and we'll be back. Update: I tried Yufka today and have to say that there was little meat in it and it tastes better in bread. Update: I have now eaten kebab for the second time and unfortunately I have to say that it tasted better with island kebab. Too bad. Food 3* Friendliness 5* Ambiance 1* You can only eat the kebab on site, if you take it with you the bread is completely soft and mushy by the time you get home. The pide with doner meat gave me heartburn and a lump in my stomach all night long.
