Insel Kebap Gaggenau in Gaggenau

Went there the day after it opened. Before we were regular customers at Insel Kebap. Staff very friendly. Ambiance is still just as bad, dirty windows with cracks etc. I find the decoration on the counter very exaggerated and doesn't suit a kebab snack bar. What's better is the meat, I like this minced meat more than the layered meat like before. The kebab was very small with little meat, ok for €3.99 at the opening, but if it really costs €8 then that is definitely way too much. I could have eaten two, but I wasn't full. The bread is oval, so not your typical kebab flatbread. Yufka looked HUGE. There are different sauces to choose from, which are smeared on bread. So for me the type of kebab here is a 1:1 copy of “The House of the Döner” Despite everything, it was tasty and we'll be back. Update: I tried Yufka today and have to say that there was little meat in it and it tastes better in bread. Update: I have now eaten kebab for the second time and unfortunately I have to say that it tasted better with island kebab. Too bad. Food 3* Friendliness 5* Ambiance 1* You can only eat the kebab on site, if you take it with you the bread is completely soft and mushy by the time you get home. The pide with doner meat gave me heartburn and a lump in my stomach all night long.

I ordered a yufka for 4:10 p.m. Picked up and after a 5 minute drive home he was just cold, absolute disgrace. Food and day ruined

I had a vegetarian Yufka with Seitan. Delicious. I've only ever eaten so well in Berlin. You can also get completely vegan dishes. In addition to the yogurt sauce, there is also a cocktail sauce or hummus. Can only be recommended. Owner is also very nice

We just ate a normal kebab and a vegan kebab here. Both were really very tasty. I would like to point out that there are several vegan dishes, including a vegan pizza. I'm personally very happy about that.

Unfortunately I ordered incorrectly online. It was not possible to contact us to cancel, neither online nor by phone.

The food actually tastes quite good, we have eaten here many times. However, our order has been canceled the last 5 times when we ordered and paid online. If the restaurant does not want to offer the discount for online orders, it should be deleted. If you order online and pick up you don't get the discount. Unfortunately, service is absolutely zero.

PLEASE ATTENTION!! Hello dear community, I ate in this shop more than once and that because I didn't want to have any prejudices because the atmosphere didn't promise much. The first time the kebab bread was okay, but all the ingredients were like yesterday! When I made my kebab pizza for the second time, the meat (the cheapest mixed minced meat is because minced doner is the cheapest) was very dry and barely juicy. Very good shop especially for students as the food is very good and there is a discount for students coming from the high school next door.

They were far too little for what you had to pay, not even a handful and asking for 4 euros for that is outrageous. I advise you not to order fries otherwise the store is ok.

ABSOLUTELY recommended!!!!💫💫💫 It's really rare to find such quality. Everything fresh and homemade. Also the dough from Jufka. Mega terrific. Incredibly nice and friendly people. Here I see the best Turkish restaurant in Gaggenau. There was extra sauce and certainly because we got to know each other a delicious sweet desert with pistachios for everyone. Absolutely worth the price 💪🏻🤩 Gladly again.

Very weak! For the trash can! Doner sauce on lahmacun, anyone who makes that doesn't know their stuff! Food was cold-cold upon arrival (20 minutes after ordering)! Not recommendable!

Ordered tarte flambée, fries, kebab and wings today and everything was great! We even received baklava as a gift. Some of the comments here: To rate a restaurant poorly because you had a flyer in your mailbox even though it says “no advertising” is something typically German! Try it there yourself before you let others influence you.

Prices up, quality down!! When we restarted, all the products were much better, you can see how bad the quality and quantity of the food and service are now! The desired delivery times are also not adhered to (+/- 25 minutes), although the break time is required and limited for company orders! Not recommended!

Wenn der Chef da ist 5 Sterne. In letzter Zeit ist er immer seltener da und die Mitarbeiter nehmen ihren Job leider weniger Ernst.

In der Not dort essen gewesen und auf Platz 1 mit einem anderen Kebab Haus gelandet. Außer das Fleisch macht das Personal alles selbst und das schmeckt man am Döner. Das Fleisch ist knusprig und Saftig ! Die soßen sind geschmacklich super ! Das Fladenbrot ist außen knackig und innen fluffig. Das Gemüse ist immer frisch ! Die Größe des Döner zum Preis 6,50€ ist absolut super. Auf Wunsch wird auch extra Fleisch dazu gegeben und zwar reichlich kostet glaube 1 € Aufpreis Yufka werde ich noch Probieren und Pizza auch die sah richtig gut aus. Dort gilt das gleiche alles selbstgemacht! Auf Nachfrage von mir (bin ziemlich verfressen😊)wurde mir sogar angeboten das Sie mir ein größeres Fladenbrot machen das ich satt werde ! Tolles Team, super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Geschmacklich sehr gut !

Salat Nizza bestellt, es kam eine zusammengefallene Pampe ohne das wichtigste bei einem Nizza Salat, der Thunfisch fehlte. Naja

Es war der beste Döner, den ich seit Jahren im Murgtal gegessen habe. Verbesserungsbedarf ist noch bei der Frische des Gemüses und die Soße könnte besser gewürzt sein. Fleisch war top und auf den Punkt serviert. Komme aufjedenfall wieder !

Übertragende Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten! Blitzschnelle Zubereitung, sehr saubere und ansprechende Gemüseauslage, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Veganer Yuvka mit Dönerfleischersatz und Falaffel , auch um 17h mit viel unterschiedlichem frischem Gemüse, nicht 90% Kraut. Preis wie üblich. Einzigartig in Gaggenau!

Falafal war sehr lecker, geschmacklich frisch. Für 6 Euro nichts zu beanstanden.

Es lässt stark nach an Qualität. Schade !

Meiner Meinung nach der beste Döner und Yufka in Gaggenau. Alle sind freundlich und man bekommt sein Essen schnell. Der Laden ist sauber und die Preise sind auch ok. Ich gehe nur noch dort hin.
