The quality of the sushi was second to none. Every bite was an explosion of freshness and flavor. The selection of nigiri, sashimi and rolls was impressive. Particularly noteworthy are the nigiri and the special roll, which shone with a perfect balance of tender fish, crunchy vegetables and a light, spicy sauce. The presentation of the dishes was a work of art in itself, every detail lovingly designed.

Unfortunately I have to express my disappointment with the service from Tokio Sushi and Wok in Geesthacht. I have ordered here several times in the past, but recently the negative experiences have increased significantly. It has happened several times now that no cutlery was included, even though I clearly stated this in the order. The situation was particularly annoying with my last order: I waited over 80 minutes for delivery and was specifically told that cutlery should be included as I was at university on Friday evening and had no way of organizing other cutlery. Despite the clear comment, no cutlery was delivered again. When I told the delivery person this, he became rude and impolite. But what shocked me most was the reaction of the “boss” in the restaurant: He showed no understanding, explained that it was “not his problem” and added that no one in the kitchen paid attention to comments in the order on Friday evening . To make matters worse, he told me in a sarcastic tone that cutlery was “not free”. He offered to deliver the cutlery within 18 minutes - of course the food would be cold by then. This treatment of customers is absolutely unacceptable. I expect not only high-quality food from a restaurant, but also professional and customer-oriented service. Unfortunately, the latter doesn't seem to be a priority here. I cannot recommend Tokio Sushi and Wok after this repeated disappointment. It's sad that as a loyal customer you are treated so disrespectfully.

Quite okay. I find the prices quite high for rather unimaginative sushi variants. But since there is no other sushi anywhere, you can buy it.
