Went there with friends on New Year's Eve. Once again beautifully decorated. Staff and boss great service. Unfortunately, the boss forgot to advertise her great homemade meatballs and goulash soup in advance. So unfortunately I had already eaten something beforehand. Nobody should miss out when this is offered.

What can I say...our local bar...is small, cozy Always good music (since you can choose it yourself) Nice people mostly partying until the end😉 This year there are 24 new, beautiful outdoor seating...so it's even more comfortable to sit outside.

I would like to explicitly evaluate the behavior of the bouncer, which led to me no longer coming to Butchers on principle. My best friend and I have regularly visited Butchers to play darts in the past. Sometimes we were there for several hours until the night (2-3 a.m.), almost every weekend. The staff behind the counter was always friendly and accommodating. Since I have never eaten there, I cannot rate the cuisine, which is why my rating does not relate to this point. Now to the incident: As on the previous weekends, we wanted to play darts again in a relaxed manner. However, to our surprise, we were turned away by the bouncer. The reason was that he didn't know us and only people he knew were allowed to enter. I then asked how he wanted to get to know us if we weren't allowed in. His answer was that we needed to be there more often to get to know him. This logic seemed contradictory to me, since it is impossible to come more often if you are not allowed in in the first place. In addition, we have behaved calmly during our previous visits and have never attracted any negative attention. So if he can't remember us and we haven't left a lasting impression, the question becomes how he will ever get to know us. I pointed out that some of the staff might already know us and we just wanted to play darts in peace. The store was neither crowded nor particularly busy that day. Nevertheless, the bouncer stuck to his decision. What I found particularly disappointing, however, was his rude and disrespectful manner, which in my opinion was completely inappropriate - regardless of his position. I finally decided to end the discussion and left the location with my best friend.

Schön gestaltete Themen Bar zwischen Stadion von Borussia Mönchengladbach und dem h4 Hotel. Gutes Essen, Preise sind okay. Nur das Personal war etwas überfordert.

We had the Thali plate and three Aperols each ;). Everything was great!
