We're frequent guests here, making the special trip from Düsseldorf to Liedberg because, apart from the breweries, there are no more restaurants like this around here. The Vennen family are the kind of innkeepers you'd expect: always friendly and flexible, and the food is down-to-earth, regional, and perfect. Even large groups are served in a straightforward and personal manner, as we experienced on a recent trip. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.

Excellent food, incredibly friendly staff. I had the beef dish; it was a very large portion and, most importantly, a true Sichuan specialty—very spicy. Absolutely delicious!
