Today we were in a small group for a short detour to the Hope restaurant - and it was an all-round successful experience. As soon as we entered we noticed the warm hospitality. The atmosphere was inviting, cozy and perfect for relaxing. The innkeeper served us excellently. With his open, humorous manner, he immediately created a relaxed atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. He even agreed to have an ouzo with us - a great gesture that reflects the family atmosphere of the house. He also provided us with valuable travel tips for Greece ;-). The ambience of the restaurant was just as convincing: stylish, warm and designed with great attention to detail. We felt completely at home here and are already looking forward to our next visit. Very nice employees. Fair prices. You can play billiards or watch football/darts here. We like being here.

As a bar, it's definitely okay, but the food isn't good! We had lunch here several times for work (with four people) and wouldn't go back privately. Positive: The young lady who served us was enthusiastic and friendly, and there wasn't something on the TV in the background the whole time. The schnitzel and salad were quite okay. Negative: Everything else. Even the walk to the bar was dirty, run-down, and disgusting. The whole bar smelled of cigarette smoke. The older waitress was unmotivated and unpolite, the burgers were extremely dry (there was no sauce on them, just a minimal amount of ketchup OR a tiny bit of mustard), and the bread was so dry it looked like it was two weeks old. The patties, both veggie and meat, were also very dry. I've never eaten such bad burgers, and the price wasn't even particularly good. The fries had to be ordered extra hot, because the first time we had them, they were already cold when they arrived. The soup was oversalted and tasted awful. When we tried to order spaghetti Bolognese, they simply said they were out of it, even though it was on the menu. Plus, everything took quite a while considering it was just reheated and not really fresh. I think you'd be better off using one of the snack bars outside.

If you want a tasteless veggie burger without fries for €18, this restaurant is the right place for you. A reservation at 12 p.m. was also possible, although you were then told afterwards that the kitchen didn't open until 1 p.m.

I recently went to the classic American diner and it was simply amazing! As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, which immediately makes the atmosphere very inviting. The ambience is cozy and reminiscent of the golden age of American diners - with a retro feel, comfortable seating and a relaxed yet lively atmosphere. The food is absolutely top! The portions are generous and the dishes taste fresh and delicious. You immediately feel comfortable and don't want to leave anymore. All in all a wonderful place to relax, eat well and feel at home.

A bit hidden in a backyard. Nice service. We spent the afternoon playing darts because we didn't want to spend the whole afternoon in a nearby hotel.
