It's a very good restaurant. It has an incredible amount of charm and is reminiscent of historical and bygone times with its very “clocklike” interior and the age of the building. The quality and taste of the food were top notch. I had the Maultaschen with ricotta in it. The service is quick, uncomplicated, friendly and efficient. The price is high, too high for my taste. The Maultaschen cost €17. I wouldn't have eaten there if I hadn't been invited. The lack of space was often a nuisance. Both from table to table, person to person, and person to table 😁. As a 1.90 m tall person, my knees pressed into the table and therefore hurt, and there wasn't much foot space either. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended if you want to eat well.

Very tasty food with great quality meat. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The price-performance ratio is perfect. We'd love to come back!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Old Lion in Aalen and can highly recommend this place! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, exactly what you want for a relaxing evening. Particularly noteworthy is the incredibly friendly service, which is not only quick and attentive, but also impresses with its humor. It's rare to be able to laugh so heartily in a restaurant - here jokes are often understood and returned charmingly. The food was also excellent, freshly prepared and served with attention to detail. You can tell that people work here with passion. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
