We visited Casa Passini as a stopover on our holiday trip and were really pleasantly surprised. Even though I couldn't enjoy the pizza in peace because my little children just wouldn't sit still, the visit was absolutely worth it.
It was my first time having a Sicilian pizza and I chose a variant with spicy salami. It was simply incredibly delicious. The dough had risen wonderfully, the tomato sauce had a lot of flavor and the salami was spicy and perfectly balanced.
My husband had a variant with salami, ham and mushrooms. This pizza also had excellent toppings and each ingredient was very tasty. You can tell that the cooking here is made with love.
A very special plus point was the gentleman behind the counter, who also cooked at the same time. Such a charming and warm person who served with a smile and immediately put a smile on the children's faces. That made the visit even nicer.
A great meal that leaves you wanting more. Next time I'll be happy to do it again and hopefully with a bit more peace and quiet to enjoy.
The service is very impersonal and unfriendly when you come as a new guest.
Some of the food was warmed up in the microwave.
It's definitely too expensive for that.
I have the feeling that it depends on the form of the day... sometimes it tastes good and sometimes it doesn't taste good... but there's no comparison to back then... I thought it was better before.
Excellent family run restaurant.
Large selection of fresh dishes, the kitchen knows its craft. The attentive, friendly service leaves nothing to be desired.
Also many tables (covered) outside. Good value for money.
