The restaurant Zum alten Köhler is simply wonderful and at the same time furnished in a slightly older style, which makes this place so unique.

Ate there twice. 1x pizza doner with special sauce and rigetoni/cream with broccoli. Was super tasty. The on-site ambience takes some getting used to. Lots of children employed there. While cycling along the Rennsteig, we booked ourselves to stay overnight in this hospitable house. We arrived later and were warmly welcomed. It was very reassuring that our bikes were immediately parked in a garage. Your food in this house as well as the breakfast is amazing. Lovingly and attractively prepared and a hammer in the crowd.
