We had a very nice evening at Casa de Frida this weekend...the service was attentive and super friendly. The menu is quite straightforward; at first glance, we found the prices to be moderate, but the portions are very modest, more like slightly larger tapas. We were told that anyone who likes spicy to fiery Mexican cuisine should mention this in advance, as the food otherwise lacks much spice, but is still tasty. All in all, we had a lovely evening and will definitely return in the summer when the beer garden opens, albeit with less hunger, as the price/performance ratio is a bit lacking in that regard.

Were at a funeral service. The waitress asked if you wanted medium water or “Totes”. NOT WORKING AT ALL.

Excellent meal in a typical German Gaststätte. No excess, not in menu choice, not in atmosphere, but just good and as it should be. In my case a Schnitzel with mushrooms, onion and Bratkartoffeln and of course a beer; typical German; Cheers and Grüße! 😉

Quaint “pub” with good food. Huge portions at absolutely fair prices.

I've gotten pizza and pasta there several times. That tastes quite good. However, today I saw a chef or kitchen employee smoking in front of the door on the main road wearing rubber gloves. I find that pretty disgusting because he probably continues to cut salad or touch other food with the same gloves. Not nice.

Nice restaurant, very nice owner and chef. Unfortunately, the food was not a revelation. The venison bratwurst was very tasty, but mashed potatoes from a bag and tasteless lumpy sauce with beef are not acceptable. It's hard to believe whether the potato salad was homemade. Too bad. After the consistently positive reviews, we are very disappointed with the "Westphalian" dinner.

This is the place that my best friend and I choose for a relaxing evening to have dinner and a few beers. Good food, great atmosphere and very polite and friendly staff. Recommended.

Always happy, great team, always friendly, accommodating.....just great. Eating a dream Chocolate cakes, wow, baked potatoes, salad. All in all, always happy, whether it's the ambience, mood, or food, I can only recommend it to everyone ❤️

The schnitzel was to die for. 😋 Really nicely battered breading and really crispy and tasty fries. The landlord was also very dog-friendly 🐶
