We were here for the first time with friends. A very quaint and cozy restaurant. The landlord is very warm and so is the service. The glasses always remained filled with kind and kind words. The schnitzels are very tasty 😋 and come from the pan and not the deep fryer. The salad is very tasty and the fries are really crispy. The goulash is prepared like your mother makes at home. The starter with bread and three types of dip was also very tasty. For dessert there were ice cream slices with chocolate sauce. Really tasty and a huge portion that you can easily eat for two. All in all 5*. We'll be back 🫶

Nette Bedienung und Chefin. Das 8-Gang-Menü dauerte zu lang. Die Empfehlungen von alkoholfreien Weinen waren nicht gut. Der vorletzte Gang war Rinderfilet. Wir waren 5 Personen und es gab unterschiedliche Garstufen auf dem Tellern. Mein Fleisch und auch das Fleisch auf dem Teller meiner Tochter, die extra aus Münster für dieses Essen angereist ist, war leider noch roh. Wir habe es nicht gegessen und den Koch nicht verstanden, dass er so etwas auf den Teller legt. Es gab wohl auch keine Kontrolle vor dem Servieren. Sehr sehr schade! Ambience like before, cozy and pleasant. The food wasn't to my taste. A little more non-oriental style dishes might be good. The beer garden in summer is highly recommended.

Very nice evening with delicious food and good service

It was my first time at Mikado Overath with my mother and daughter and I was absolutely positively impressed. We were greeted directly at the door in a friendly manner with a smile and escorted to our table. The service staff were super nice, polite, attentive and accommodating. My daughter was also offered special children's chopsticks in case eating with the normal chopsticks didn't work. The food is high quality, absolutely fresh and tasty. The ambience is really very clean, comfortable and attractive. We left the restaurant very happy and full. The Mikado in Overath is really an absolute recommendation. Our next visit won't be long in coming.

The room looks different than in the booking pictures. The furniture is old and thrown together. It was very noisy, you could hear the guests on the floor above very clearly. Unfortunately the coffee machine didn't work. The room was very clean and the service was good.

It was okay, but the portions were quite small. The salad bar was quite empty, the green salad was completely empty, and the corn was also empty. All in all, I wouldn't necessarily come back.

Disaster! 2 hours and then delivered incorrectly. Never again. Ordered: 2 quesadas with rice, beans, sour cream. One with chicken one with minced meat Delivered: 2 vegetarian quesadas with rice, no beans, no cream When ordering, a delivery time of 20-40 minutes was advised. In fact, it was only delivered after 2 hours, without prior arrangement.
