Altenbrücker Mühle in Overath

The room looks different than the pictures on Booking.com. The furniture is old and mismatched. It was very noisy, and you could clearly hear the guests on the floor above. Unfortunately, the coffee machine didn't work. The room was very clean, and the service was good.

Apartment booked, large room large bed kitchen fridge sofa. mattress too soft box bed. overall too dark. Whoever furnished the room placed little value on functionality, so there are lamps that can only be switched off by pulling the plug, the desk has zero sockets and I couldn't find the Elan key anywhere. the toilet is a disaster. The sofa invites you to watch TV in the evening, but you can't see it from the sofa. The TV is in the basic delivery condition. You first have to zap through 300 channels until you get picture and sound. There was no breakfast, the restaurant was closed. 1 point deducted because the heating is switched off at night. It gets ice cold in the room, it's no use to me if the heating runs during the day when I'm not in the room... so the towel heater is also unnecessary because it's cold. 2 points deduction, toilet barely accessible, toilet lid incorrectly attached, too tight, too small, shower curtain

Great experience and choice for people/ couples in love, it is a bit noisy on the street, but above all comfortable refurnished - the terrace is very sunny in the morning, where you might enjoy breakfast. A really good bakery is reachable in only a few minutes in walking distance.

Bin wegen dem schlimmen Hochwasser gestern in Overath gestrandet und nicht mehr nach Hause nach Hoffnungsthal gekommen. Man hat mir auf Nachfrage spontan ein kostenloses Bett zur Übernachtung angeboten und das obwohl das Hotel selber sehr stark vom Hochwasser betroffen war und die Feuerwehr vor Ort abpumpen musste. Das war eine große Hilfe, vielen Dank nochmal!

Inhaber zwar sehr nett und hilfsbereit, aber Unterkunft etwas unsauber, viele Spinnweben, Schlauch von Spüle unten war ab, gleich mal eine Überschwemmung gehabt. Für Kurzurlaub OK, für längeren Aufenthalt nicht so geeignet. Preis/Leistung nicht so gerechtfertigt

Ganz hübsches Haus und ordentliches, großes Zimmer, aber lasst euch nicht Zimmer 5 andrehen! Fenster im EG direkt zum Biergarten des angrenzenden Restaurants. An Schlaf ist nicht zu denken. Und Frühstück gibt es leider auch nicht im Haus.

Schöne Appartements mit schöner Ausstattung. Nett eingerichtet. Keine Rezeption und kein Restaurant. Aber sehr schön zum übernachten. Komme gerne wieder. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten ein sehr anheimendes Apartment, mit Küche, Bad Wohnraum und Schlafzimmer in luftiger Höhe. Das einchecken war komplikationslos, die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und Gastfreundschaft wird groß geschrieben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Das ist nicht nur ein Hotel, das ist familiäres Ambiente. Super schönes Zimmer mit Küche, Bad und Schlafzimmer in luftiger Höhe. Kaffee und Maschine, ja sogar Süßigkeiten zeichnen dieses schöne 150 Jahre alte Gemäuer aus. Vielen Dank für so viel Gastlichkeit.

Sehr gutes Essen in tollem Ambiente. Nettes Personal die gut "beraten". Alles prima, ich freue mich auf das nächste mal.

Sehr enttäuscht, dienstags haben fast alle im Ort Ruhetag... und das einzige Restaurant lässt uns u. Eigene Hotelgäste 20.15 Uhr nicht rein😏 weil man Feierabend macht!

Immer wieder Top Adresse, wenn es darum geht "stilvoll" einen Abend zu genießen. Die Weinvorschläge sind spitze, sehr professionell. Frau Geuer hat alles im Griff, und das zum Guten !

Man kann es nicht anders sagen, das Essen ist traumhaft, die Weinauswahl einfach perfekt .. Wirt und Wirtin sind wahnsinnig kommunikativ und unterhaltsam ... Wir kommen immer wieder😊😋
